The current crisis in Beluzia has gotten much worse, already the ruling Business and Development has attempted to institute slavery, and with support of the Populus Party they seem to be on the verge of passing this law. Already under threat of prosecution due to their political opposition the United Party leadership, and several of its members have fled the country to Aloria which has granted it political asylum. The issue has attracted the concern of the Government of Aloria, more to come as this crisis evolves

Protests Get Worst
Following the recent passing of the slave Act, protests have gotten worse, several owners of mass amounts of slaves have found their houses burned down by protesters, and out of the first 30 major slave auction, all have ended in blood, reports have come out that paramilitaries and civilians entered the auction in into the auctions discussed as owners, and slaves, then opened fire, killing many of the slavers, and participants. Reportedly about 400 people have died, and another 265 people have been injured, and about 1,000 slaves have been freed. The party of the participants of these attacks are unknown, but reports show that they consist of members from many parties, and even reportedly a few soldiers, and police. None of the participants have been arrested, as they always vanish before the police arrive, and by the time the cops arrive only the bodies of the slavers can be found.

Opinion: Party of the Populus is Tricking People with its name
By: Anonymous
The Party of the Populus is the only party that stands with the Business and Development Party in this time of darkness. It claims to be a party dedicated to the people, yet it supported the institution of slavery, it has supported suppression of opposing political party, it has lied about its opponents, and made seemingly useless bills, such as the Butthurt Act. Yet it claims to be the only "appropriate" party, it claims to fight for the right of all people, it claims all of this while supporting the high taxation of the poor, supporting the enslavement of the very people it claims to serve, it claims to be for the people while it votes to allow segregation, arresting people for no reason at all, and suppression of free speech and the right to protest. It claims to fight for the people, yet voted against the right to strike, voted against lowering the tax on food, and has claimed it supports slavery in order to "open up more options for and liberate the people". It claims that all parties but the BDP act inappropriately, yet it is the only party that has voted for bills attacking a party, such as the Vial Throwing Act, and the obviously politically motivated Civil War Prevention Act, which allowed for a raiding of United Party headquarters, and the execution of its leaders on no trial, with no evidence what so ever. This "party for the people" tries to trick the people, but people like me see through this veil, we know the truth and will fight for it.

Breaking News: Protests grow, as segregation Article is pointed out by John Fredrickson
Protests outside of the Congress building have gotten worse, originally against the BDP government, and the institution of slavery, the protests have gotten worse, as John Fredrickson, former President, and Prime Minister of Beluzia, and current Chairman of the United Party, pointed out that the "Continuation of the shock therapy" bill contains an article allowing private companies to segregate. The protests have grown to include a massive amount of minorities from all parties who believe they will be damaged by this act the most. Many protesters have begun chanting "No more Racist leaders! No more Racist Leaders!" A recent poll has found that 90% of Beluzians believe the Business and Development Party, and a further 86% believe the Party of the Populus, actively endorse racism through their policies. This is yet another cause for unrest in the already unstable situation in Beluzia, which has lasted since the last election in 4304, more on this Crisis as it occurs.

OCC Note: The chants of the citizens are only meant for the RP characters and parties, this is in no way a depiction of my opinions of the RL people controlling the parties

Opinion: The Business and Development Party seized power through Corruption and Lies
By: Anonymous
The Business and Development Party has supported highly unpopular bills, its leaders have been found guilty of some of our most serious crimes, yet they still control the nation. The question is how? I believe that the BDP has gained its unexpected power by bribery, and vote rigging, they have many times suggested they have been responsible for the disappearance of citizens, and politicians for opposing them, who is to say they haven't done the same to voters in order to gain power? There are discrepancies, such as people disappearing, and they are led by a convicted criminal who through corruption and law violations has avoided prison time, why should we believe the party has not broken any laws, especially as they gained power? They have lied about other parties, they correctly claim there was vote rigging, but not by the United Party and the rest of the opposition as they claim, but rather by their own party.

OOC: these opinion articles are to get activity inspired in the newspaper, I figured this is a good enough way to do so, and a good way to RP the state of mind of many Beluzians in these times.

Breaking News: the BDP chairman and prime minister of Beluzia, Dr Wewecho Pantafloja, has stated that his policies are not racist, since he is half malivian. He is simply giving companies the right to hire how they want. He has stated that the BDP itself has hired many minorities for low paid jobs, such as janitors, cleaners and cooks, and has stated that half of the girls in his bunga bunga parties are minorities. He states that he has been missinterpreted. And blames the economic crisis on the policies of previous governments. He claims his shock therapy was a necesity to save Beluzia, and has made a call for investors to invest in Beluzian stock. He said this during an interview from his private jet, in his private airport, before a visit to Likationia, where he has purchased several holdings.

Breaking News: Prime minister Dr Wewecho Pantafloja has purchased 49% of the shares of stock in the Beluzian Daily, the other 51% is in the hand of other stock holders, who refuse to sell, and have mostly fleed the country. He has claimed that opposing his purchase is illegal. And against praised the shock therapy implemented by president Alphonse Gabriel Wewecho, stating that the economy would be even worse without it, after the decades of misrule by other parties. President Alphonse has not been seen for 4 days, he is presumed drunk. After having gone to a medical checkup in Likationia, since he does not trust the private healthcare that Beluzia has after his own reforms.
