Keymon Defense Forces Announce Joint Military Exercise with Vanuku

The Keymon Defense Forces have announced a new military exercise with Vanuku, centered around infantry and mechanized warfare.

The Keymon Defense Forces and Vanuku Armed Forces announced the drill in a joint statement to press.

To guarantee the continued preparedness of our militaries for domestic and foreign threats and problematic factions.

The KDF and VAF plan to have the military exercises on Vanukuean soil, in the state of Mkldrekrnék near the cities of Noorddam & Havendam.

The locations of the exercise is important due to the desert and grassland climates and the amount of mountains in the state, according to experts from Turtle Bay University.

The KDF has confirmed the exercise will include members of its special forces, who will be tasked with consulting and assisting Vanukuean and KDF forces on strategies for combating terrorism and domestic revolutions.

The KDF also confirmed that the exercise would possibly include live fire drills of artillery, tanks, aerial weaponry, and infantry weaponry.

While no official date has been set for the exercise, officials confirmed that it would be within three to six weeks.

This announcement has been met with little backlash domestically, due to lack of domestic impact, at least on the Keymon side.

Vanuku and Keymon Begin Military Exercises

The Keymon Defense Forces and Vanuku Armed Forces have begun a military exercise in the Vanukuean territory of Mkldrekrnék, near the cities of Noorddam & Havendam.

The KDF and VAF have begun a joint operation in which KDF and VAF tanks, armored personal carrier, infantry fighting vehicles, light armored vehicles, and armored combat support vehicles began a simulated offensive push towards an enemy army.

Alongside the armored units, KDF and VAF infantry units assisted armored units in making an offensive push against the simulated army.

This first operation, while still ongoing, has been described as successful, with infantry units and armored units effectively functioning together and capable of coordinating major offensive pushes into the simulated army.


VAF and KDF Tanks In Battle Formation

The armored units were successfully able to push as far as requested by joint-command, while also punching a hole for mechanized infantry to pour into the gap and successfully eliminate the threat of the enemy army.

There were however, some errors. Locals believed the live fire used in the drill was coming from a local area known for crime, which prompted multiple phone calls to local police.

However besides the above issue, the operation has been described as a major success, and the next operation is scheduled to take place in three days.

The next planned operation involves infantry units working together under the command of the KDF’s Special Services Group (SSG) to take out a domestic uprising.

Vanuku-Keymon military exercises continue as the VAF and KDF have begun domestic rebellion training.

The VAF and KDF have begun exercises targeting simulated domestic rebellions, involving civilians rebelling against the central government or local governments.

This exercise currently involves members of the VAF and KDF infantry and motorized units attempting to counter-attack simulated revolutionary and rebelling citizens and armies.

KDF’s Special Forces Unit-the Special Services Group (SSG)-have also began a military exercise focusing around VIP protection of local and central government personnel.

The exercises main objectives are to, according to the Keymon Ministry of Defense-
1)To guarantee that domestic instability and uprising cannot harm foreign war efforts
2)To guarantee that domestic rebellions sparked by foreign powers will not be capable of overthrowing the respective governments
3)To guarantee that rebellions cannot overthrow the respective governments and replace them with unstable governments

Keymon-Vanuku Military Exercises End, Great Success Says Keymon Side

The last of the Keymon-Vanuku exercises have finished, with KDF and VAF armored, motorized, and infantry divisions recently finishing urban combat exercises today.

The urban combat exercises involved not only armored, motorized, and infantry divisions of the KDF and VAF, but also the Special Services Group (SSG) of the KDF, Keymon’s main special forces unit.

Armored divisions of both the KDF and VAF were tasked with knocking down buildings, patrolling roads and highways, and transporting infantry to sectors of combat.

Motorized infantry of both the KDF and VAF were tasked with making lightning attacks on enemy divisions, flanking and storming enemies, and assisting infantry in assaults against formidable opposition.

Regular infantry or foot soldiers of both the KDF and VAF were tasked with taking buildings deemed too difficult for special forces or motorized infantry, establishing safe zones for citizens, capturing and holding sectors alongside motorized and armored divisions, and peacekeeping and police work once the city/urban area is captured.

SSG Members were tasked with assassinating enemy leaders, capturing buildings and areas with hostages, and defending VIP’s.

After the urban combat exercises, the Keymon General in charge of the operations, Matteu Giovannina , called a press conference in Wiel to discuss the results of the exercises with the press.

I truly believe that the exercise between the Keymon and Vanuku Forces have benefited both nations exponentially. It guarantees that both armies are prepared for combat situations and will be capable of responding to said situations.

We will now be withdrawing our forces from Vanuku, yet we shall look forward to working with the Vanukuean people economically, militarily, and politically.

Ministry of Defense Announces Deployment of Peacekeepers to Kalistan

The Ministry of Defense has announced that it will begin sending troops to Kalistan to serve as peacekeepers while paramilitaries and the government clash in Kalistan.

The Ministry of Defense released a press statement regarding the deployment:

The situation in Kalistan is extremely dangerous and has the possibility of harming civilians. Due to this risk, we’ve decided to deploy a peacekeeping operation in Kalistan to guarantee the safety of the civilian populous.

We however must stress that this is simply a peacekeeping force. We are not taking sides in this conflict nor are we attempting to guarantee the victory of one side over the other.

Critics of the current government have called this move a violation of the Keymon Neutrality Treaty. However defenders have countered that the Keymon Defense Forces are deploying as peacekeepers, which is not a violation of the KNT.

Keymon Legislature Votes to Have Governmental Control Over Coastal Vrassa

The Keymon Senate has voted to have the Keymon Government hold governmental control over Coastal Vrassa.

The Government Powers in Coastal Vrassa Act of 4523 is set to pass with 100% of the senate’s approval.

The K.L.F, the party that completely controls the government and nation, has stated that Coastal Vrassa is simply a peacekeeping area however it “requires governance and order to benefit from our peacekeeping”.

The bill proposed by the KLF gives the government of Keymon the right to make laws and/or acts about economic, political, legislative, military and social things.

However the bill also gives the Keymon government the obligation to “guarantee the safety of the people of Coastal Vrassa from both economic and military attacks”.
