The sun rises above the hills, the sun rises above a nation that is gripped by the great tyrannical power of Nova Terra. They claim election prove they are the chosen, they calim that the elections are free, but all know within Hobrazia that this is not the case. Fear grips those who vote, do we vote with our hearts and desires and fear arrest or do we vote with our heads and remain alive. This is the stark choice faced by the people. A people ravaged by fear of the people hwo are meant to protect them. This vote was never free and fair, the opposition not allowed to campaign, the opposition intimidated, the opposition arrested. This is not a nation of the free but of the damned.

The First Party struggles on, fighting against this tide of fear and trying to raise the hopes of liberation and freedom from this terrortist power. Fighting for the rights of the people and the will of the people. This nation is in a dark time, a fearful time a time that like all other eras will fall. Every empire, every power has its day and eventaul victory will be the peoples, this may be a time of perserverance a time to hold on to what we hold dear and move with the flow. The first Party will maintain the dignity ofte people the aspirations of the people. They will stand by and protect the people from this tyrannical gang that now runs the nation. We are almost alone within the nation in this struggle, but take heart that the international community is with us, they stand shoulder to shoulder with us. Lodamese Terrorists Attempt to Assassinate Emperor

Yesterday, while giving a speech during a CSD party rally in Astoria City, Hobrazian Emperor Michal Stronky narrowly escaped an assassination attempt, when a Lodamese terrorist who had infiltrated the party ran towards the speakers' platform and detonated a bomb, killing himself and approximately 47 people who had been attending the rally. The Emperor and other party leaders that were present survived with only minor injuries. Following the terrorist attack, Hobrazian police raided the Lodamese Embassy, the First Party headquarters, and other organizations suspected of involvement. Documents were found proving that Lodamun had supplied funds and weapons to the terrorist cell responsible for carrying out the attack, and that the First Party was responsible for recruiting and training the terrorists. Evidence was also found that the attack was part of a larger Lodamese program of destabilizing Hobrazia, and that plans had been made to launch an invasion of Hobrazia if the attack had succeeded.

The people have shown that they can stand up for themselves, the people have shown that they will fight back. The attempt on the life of the terrorist Emperor of Hobrazia has be unsuccesful. He escaped with his life, however this is a symbolic message, that the people are not willing to resign themselves to a fate under subjugation, injustice and death. They will stand up for their beliefs, they will defend their lifes, they will not stand by and watch Hobrazia destroyed.

Today we have sent a message to the establishment that they can not settle down and relax, happy in the comfort of their palacial homes, but must be watchful, they must live as the people of this nation must live, in constant fear of their lives, constant fera of persecution for their actions. They must be made to be fearful of those they serve and not the other way around. We must make this a reality and acts such as those bravely carried out by this individual show that they are not safe, not even the highest ranking terrorist in the land is safe.

More will follow, more action will be forthcoming, and they shall feel what each on of us who speaks out feels, we are seeking freedom and we will gain that freedom at any cost to our own lives, we are willing to sacrafice ourselves for the freedom of Hobrazia and liberate the people from this tyrannical power.

People of Free Hobrazia, this nation of ours is being sold, sold into slavery by those that claim to be the rightful rulers, those who claim that they know what is best for the peopleof this nation. They have openly stated that they wish to see the nation ruined, stripped of its assets, depleted of its resources and left for broke. Thye are taking what they wish from the people who have worked hard all their lives, hard to build a home, aquire the luxuries that make life that bit better, all taken by a government that claims that it is for the people. We will defend those that help us, we will defend those that fight for a free Hobrazia. We cannot allow this government to go with this persecution, we can not sit idel whilst the nation is left for ruin. We must rise up and bring the nation back from the brink, back to the positive, wealthy direction we were in before, back to being the center of culture and peace, for generation Hobrazia was at peace, ruined in one fowl swoop by a tryannical regime.

People rise up, defend your property, dedend your land, defend Free Hobrazia from this tyrannical power, we must stand together or fall, for this is the time of reckoning, this is the time to decide the future of this land, shall we be broke and under tyranny or shall we be free and live free in our homes with all we have made, this is the time to say enough is enough, stand people and fight for Free Hobrazia.

OBITUARY

ALEXANDER MICHAEL NEESAM

A sad day, Alexander Michael Neesam, major general in the free Hobrazia army was killed by a sniper in the hills of Kiduran. He carried out his duty for the free people of this land and died in the course of that duty, directing free troop movements in the hills.

Born in Kiduran to Alice and Stephen Neesam, he decided at a young age to become a soldier, he dedicated his early life to finding out all he could about Hobrazian military history, the strucutre of the army and the roles it plays in national life. Upon reaching the age of 16 he joined up. Sent to the Imperial Academy in Astoria City for training into the officer corp. He graduated with flying colours, achieving one of the highest scores possible. He was posted as a captain with the Imperial Guard VII Regiment. He soon rose through the ranks of the army reaching the rank of Major General 10 years ago. Then he faced a dilema. With the arrival of the tyrannical power. Stay within the army and fight against some of his own family or leave and join Free Hobrazia, led by his distant cousin Dominic Neesam. He chose the latter and he dedicated himself to building a free army for Free Hobrazia. He tok charge of training at first and oversaw the first brigade being posted on duty. Since then he assumed full command of the Free Hobrazian units around the Village of Kellurian, defending it from the forces of the tryannical power in control of much of the nation.

He was shot near the village outskirts, by an unkwon sniper. He has been replaced in his duties by Major General Micahel Clover.

United Republics Party Rounds Up Known First Party Members

ASTORIA CITY, STORMRIDGE (LBC) -- Liberal policies put in place by the URP governor of Stormridge Matt Diggory have been swept aside. Calls by opposition parties for general insurrection has resulted in a crackdown in a sector once viewed as a haven for Hobrazian civil liberties. Dubbed Order 72, the new measure bans public gatherings without permits, eliminates jury trials and appeals in treason cases, and establishes checkpoints around Astoria City.

Dozens of First Party leaders have been arrested and convicted of treason for fomenting revolt. They face the death penalty awaiting a last minute plea for commutation from the Emperor.

URP Shocks Imperium Congress; Votes Against Nova Terran Unification Treaty

ASTORIA CITY, STORMRIDGE (LBC) -- Private meetings between URP leader Matt Diggory and Emperor Michal Stronky failed to resolve differences concerning the Nova Terran Unification Treaty (NTUT). Citing his concerns that the treaty "will threaten the sovereignty of the Imperium Congress, the Emperor, and the Hobrazian people," Mr. Diggory announced the URP will cast all of its eleven votes against the NTUT. Those eleven votes would've secured the necessary two-thirds majority, but now hopes for passage rest with the Christian Socialist Party.

The consequences of this vote on the URP's participation in the cabinet or its rule over Stormridge is unknown.

'Traitors arrested', this is the headline of the tyrannts papers in Astoria City. They claim that we are traitors, we are traitors to no one, we stand with the people not against them, we are with the freedom loving people of this nation, we will defend their rights, we will defend their homes and their jobs. The tyrants who run this nation are worried for themselves, not for the people, they care nothing for freedom and liberty. Inch by inch they are taking away the very liberty that we Hobrazians are acustomed to, the very liberty we have enjoyed for generations, gone. Today is a sad day, a day where in the very heart of the nation, freedom is stopped, liberty is hiding in the dark shadows, scared away by the tyrants and their use of force.

People are worried, people have been arrested for nothing more than standing for liberty and freedom. They have been taken to prison, sentenced without a full trial, sentenced to death. These are the actions of a government that claims to love loberty and protect it. Arresting people because they do not agree with their version of how things should be. Sentenced to death for standing up against them. The international community muse here these words, they must take action to protect the innocent people of the nation.

Free Hobrazians we will defend our small plot of land, we will defend the small community that we have here, we will defend all we can to save liberty in Hobrazia, we will not allow it to be dismissed from Hobrazia, we will not allow it to be pushed off shore never to return. We will keep the beacon lit here in the hills of Kiduran, we will keep the beacon lit so bright that the people of Stromridge cannot miss it, we will make sure that all the people of Hobrazia can see the light of liberty, that liberty has not left but is still alive in the nation. It wil take time, it will take tears, it will take blood but liberty will be victorious, liberty will win the battle of wills. Liberty will always be defended by the First Party and her allies. Liberty is in every Hobrazian, it is a right to all Hobrazians and no power or authority can take that away with all their harsh laws and military might. People will always stand for what is right, they will face death and torture, but they will stand non the less.

THE FIRST REPORT FROM LODAMUN

The sun is high in the sky, the sun shines on this land of freedom. People here live the lives that we in Hobrazia were used to. Since given sanctuary here, unable to return to my beloved homeland due to the tyrannical power i have learned alot about freedom and loberty, learned alot of what people think of the situation in Hobrazia. We were a nation seen as cultured and peacful. A place to go on holiday to see the woderful culture, the buildings and the beaches. Not any more, we are seen as unstable, undemocratic and a place to avoid. What we had is gone, our reputation destroyed in seconds. Years turned to dust, for what so that the people can live in fear and repression.

The world is not ignoring the situation, the world is not standing still, the world is still moving. Some nations have spoken, some nations have taken positive action, they have closed embassies, they have stopped trade, they have refused to talk to the tyrants. However these small steps are a start and not the end. I asure the people that the world is watching closely, they are marking every move that Hobrazia is making. Some nations want stiffer action however we must first get past the tie for talking and i do hope that this time will be short. However sometimes it seems that they will all talk a do nothin decisive.

People of Free Hobrazia be aware we are not alone, but we must bide our tie, we must wait until the iron is hot. We will be victorious both at home and abroad, we still have allies, we still have friends and we are in the right. Tyranny will fall and liberty will be restored in Hobrazia. Keep that liberty alight in Hobrazia people, Terra is watching.

The government has shown its first signs of inner tormoil. One of their own has tired of their lies. The government has lost the loyalty of one of their own, they have fractured due to alternative beliefs, we must commend the URP for thier actions, we must commend them for facing up to the realities that are present in Hobrazia, they have seen that the government, the tyrannical government is trying to sell Hobrazia to outside forces, making the nation a slave to Nova Terra, in doing so they are making the people of this nation as slave to nove terra. We cannot allow that to happen and we hope that other parties see the light, the light of liberty that we have kept alight, the light that is protecting Hobrazia from sevetude and plunder.

This tyranny cares not for the people, cares not for the principle of nationhood, but for their own power and megalomania. They are obsessed with power and to reach this they would sell nations and their nationals to the dogs, they would simple barter away a nation that has stood alone for generations. How can this be happening? how can this be allowed to continue? we ask the international community to act, to do something to stop this terrible crime. Rather than sit in their confortable home with their happy lives, save some fellow citizens of Terra, not with words, not wih committees but with action. Words in this case are useless, powerless against a tyrannical foe that does not even hear its own people.

We are taking action ourselves, we don not sit idle whilst allowing this monsterous action to occur, we have been building our supplies, readying the men loyal to Free Hobrazia, making plans. Those plans will soon be enacted, those plans will soon take place. We can no longer watch as Terra does nothing, if we must act alone then so be it. We will liberate bit by bit, we will liberate as much as we can before it is to late.

Free Hobrazia is rising, a light with liberty, a light with freedom a light so bright that all of Terra can see that liberty is still free in a corner of Hobrazia.

Glorious news for the people of Free Hobrazia. News that warms the heart of liberty in the land. A prominent supporter of the tyrannical government has been shot by a loyal member of Free Hobrazia. This man supported the rounding up of free people, facilitated their arrest and torture, for the man killed was the chief of the Kiduran Police. After this success we can but hope that the persecution can stop, at least we hope that the persecution can be halted for a time. Time enough for us to gain the upper hand locally. We must use the time granted to us by this successful action.

We send our gratitude to the man who has conducted himself with homour, killing this much hated figure, a figure who helped to end freedom in Hobrazia, who so willingly turned on his own people to allow himself to live a happy, rich life with the wealth stolen from those he persecuted, no more, this man is dead and the man who shot him has done the nation a great service at great cost to himself.

We are sorry to report that this great man of Free Hobrazia was captured in the escape and is at this moment thought to be already dead at the hands of the tyrannical government. But his life will not have been in vain, we have shown the government and the international commuity that we will act, we will strike if we are not listened to, we will strike if we are ignored, we will strike at the very institutions used to persecute the people. We will defend Free Hobrazia, unfortunately that involves blood and death, we tried to avoid this sort of action, however we are forced by the tyrannical regimes policies to take it. We must act to defend the free and protect liberty from the hordes of terror that they posses. We are the last bastion of hope in Hobrazia, the last refuge of freedom in the nation, we must stand and fight in this small corner to protect liberty in the whole of the nation.

BIRTH

A great day for the our leader has begun, his wife Suzanne has given birth to twin baby boys. The babies born at 2.45am in the hills of Kiduran has been named as Alexander Neesam and Callum Neesam. We are sure that they will grow up to be strong willed and well mannered like their father and mother. Emperor Dominic Neesam had this to say:

I am of course extatic about the birth of my sons, however in this time i must not take my eye of the ball, i must watch events and be mindful of the situation we are in. I will take time and spend it with my family but i am always mindful of my duties and the actions i must take as leader of Free Hobrazia. Now i must go back to my family.

We all wish the young boys a good start life and we will do all we can to make sure that they are allowed that good start by protecting liberty and freedom in this corner of Hobrazia.
