Marriage of Queen Konstanja and Prince Timothy Thousands Flock to Aikums

In the snow and cold of Aikums during December, a crowd wearing winter coats and jackets showed up in droves at St. Job's cathedral in Aikums. The couple conducted their ceremony inside of the church as crowds filled the pews. The state ceremony took place at the Royal Palace where the couple dressed in warmer clothing. Heads of State and Royals from all over Terra attended the event. This wedding surely tightens relations between Dolgavia and Hutori as both Royal Families are connected to each other. This also connects the the House of Rothengrin-Ludwig's to the rest of the royal families across Terra more.

Prince Timothy has become King Timotejs but he will keep his Luthorian name of Timothy as well. The royal couple will spend the next few days on a honeymoon across Terra in Lourenne, Hutori and Istalia before they will take up their official duties starting January, 10th back in Aikums. The King and Queen have taken the Dolgavian people by storm and most of the criticism towards the Queen has subsided. This event has caused the country to unify behind the new Queen and King and brings some hope for future stability for Dolgavia.

New Dolgavian Prime Minister Congratulates Dolgavian Space Program on Successful First Launch

New Dolgavian Prime Minister Joris Ulke congratulated Dolgavian Engineers and the DSA today in a press conference after the successful launch of the Istalian-Dolgavian Space mission named Ballista. In his speech before the press he said

"Today marks a great leap forward in the Dolgavian Space Agency, Today Dolgavian Engineers have sent an object into space. For this country today marks a glorious achievement. Right now Dolgavia and Istalia lead the Second Space Race, we can say we started this race. Dolgavia is a country of doers, we are doing what we once thought was impossible. Today you Dolgavians have made this possible! I would like to thank all those who have made this mission possible. Soon and very soon Dolgavians will enter space"!

The Prime Minister has been taking time to initiate progressive reforms to Dolgavia after years of solely Conservative rule. He has completely changed the cabinet and has reformed and cleaned the entire government out of existing party members. His premiership comes after years of speculation into corruption and such the Dolgavian Government has indeed reformed. Fighter jets are set to fly over the capital today marking the successful launch. Government leaders including the Queen hailed the launches as a true testament to Dolgavian ingenuity. The Queen wrote

"Today marks an exciting moment in Dolgavia's history. Today Dolgavians and Istalian have together conquered space! Dolgavian engineers played a very important role in the launch and I can say I am proud of my country, keep working hard and your dreams will take flight".

As Dolgavia prepares for its next steps in the space race, the Dolgavian people are becoming enthralled and captivated by the new phenomena of Space Travel and at the next launch expect to see many Dolgavians making to trip to see the flight take off. Dolgavia is already beginning the designing process of the Space Station which will orbit Terra, the second such space station in existence, following the Hutorian space station.

We at the Frei Presse would like to congratulate the DSA and all Dolgavians and Istalians working together on the project on the project. Let us hope the next mission will be as successful as this one!

The Prime Minister during Talks Between the Three Countries

Several nations of Keris met yesterday in the capital of New Endralon/Kizenia, Portesti to discuss furthering the relations of nations on the continent. No deal was met but a large forum was held to discuss things of concern for specifically Keris. Dolgavia planned and coordinated the conference along with the Governments of Kizenia and Egelion. Oddly the Trigunian Delegation was absent from the proceedings but this did not affect plans too much. The conference and discussions lasted for two days and relations between the three countries strengthened and grew. The closing press conference was exciting as the three Prime Ministers spoke about the conference. The Dolgavian Prime Minister Joris Ulke said the following.

"These meetings which we have needed to happen for some time have been a great success. The three nations which were represented in this conference have gotten a lot of good work done, work that will help all nations of Keris in the future. I can tell you now that these talks have brought the three nations that attended closer than we have been for a very long time. I can truthfully say that we have something in the works that will make Keris truly a continent of greatness! Future generations will look back at this conference and see the beginning of something special. I would like to Thank the Government of Kizenia and the people of Kizenia for hosting this conference and the Delegation from Endralon for attending! We have done so much and we will continue to do a lot. Thank You".

It is unsure what will come from this conference but the fact that the nations of Keris which are so diverse and distant from one another normally, are working together means that that something will happen, we are just not sure what, and when.

Quick Report: Dolgavian Scientists and Engineers Create First Nuclear Reactor in Dolgavia

Dolgavia made a huge breakthrough today as a private team successfully created the first nuclear reactor to be made on Dolgavian soil. This comes as the demand for nuclear energy rises and Dolgavia continues to suffer through energy hardship. The College is now powered by the single nuclear reactor which is now housed inside a special building on site. The nuclear reactor has been approved and tested by engineers that are trained in nuclear power and has been deemed safe and secure. The professor in charge of the project Dr. Ludwig Heikel told reports today, "He is very happy with the results"

"Today my life long dream has been achieved. Today Dolgavia has their first nuclear power reactor. Today Dolgavia is taking steps to solving its energy problem. Today the students and researchers at this fine institute have taken a step towards a Dolgavia where energy will be at a surplus, a nations that will truly thrive off its abundant power."

The professors words ring true for many Dolgavians as nuclear reactors are expected to pop up around the country. Could this be the beginning of a Energy Revolution in Dolgavia?"

Dolgavian Forces Pull out of Keymon

The last of the Dolgavian peacekeeping troops have left Keymon after spending several years administering to the Keymonese people. The forces left were only a fraction of the 5,000 soldiers sent in during the Keymon Civil War in 4771. However this is met with criticism as many Dolgavian soldiers which illegally traveled to Keymon to fight for the Carulists are still stranded there. The official peacekeeping task force left Turtle Bay however and the last 500 soldiers are not on their way back to Dolgavia. Keymon has been slowly recovering from the bloody civil war and serious effort by many foreign backers including Dolgavia to jump start and help Dolgavia's economy and people into the future.

The Dolgavian peacekeeping force helped countless lives and saved people during the heart of the civil war. The force was successful in helping thousands of Keymonese people and saved many, many lives in protecting and treating those that needed help. The Third Infantry Division which was the main force responsible for the peacekeeping mission has the new mascot of the Blessed Virgin Sarah or the mother of Eliyahu as their symbol. This symbolizes divine caring and helping those in need.

The Peacekeeping mission was a huge success for the Dolgavian military and showed many nations across Terra that military intervention can be used in a peaceful positive way. This force never engaged in the civil war, but it included elements of tanks and armored vehicles. This is a huge blow to any country that supports isolation or non-intervention and proves skeptics wrong. Dolgavia now has a policy of intervention and the future will include this tactic being used as much as possible for the betterment of society and people across Terra.

Dolgavia Implements Strict Sanctions Against Malvian Empire, Calls Empire's Claims "Illegitimate", also says "Malvia would be a better colony then an Empire"

Dolgavia is without a doubt has one of the largest economies in all of Terra. The country now manufactures rockets, alternative power sources and is on the path towards sustainable nuclear energy. Aikums has indeed become a huge economic hub and a travel destination for those across Terra. One country will not be benefiting off the Dolgavian economy, that country is the Greater Malvian Empire which as of today is getting huge sanctions on all good and services from Dolgavia. The Prime Minister slammed the Fascist style regime in power and demanded the release of dictator Prince Carlu.

"Today the Reichstag has passed a set of harsh sanctions against the Greater Malivian Empire. I applaud their decision. This regime in power is delusional, Fascist and tyrannical. They join the likes of Jakania and they say they are "against Imperialism" but actively claim other countries as their own. This will end today. Today Dolgavia is slapping sanctions on Maliva in all exports coming from Dolgavia. We are also not accepting anything from Maliva. They have claimed portions of 4 or 5 countries as their own. They are harboring a known international criminal accused of war crimes and wanted in 5 countries. Give Carlu to the WC, let him be tried for his actions. Stop keeping him in your clutches. It is time Keymon seeks justice. Maliva should be ashamed of itself. They are actively provoking conflict and invasion. They must be stopped. Today we have made the right decision. We are in no way supporting a country which quite frankly should go back to being a colony, as they have been a better colony than an empire. My message for those who support this regime. If you actively support this Fascist regime. You will get sanctioned... Thank You".

The PM's words come with much shock and some celebration. The empire which actively supports former Prince Carlu of Keymon and harbors him has just gotten a huge hit from the Dolgavian Government. It is still unknown what international fallout will take place from this, but for Dolgavia quite frankly we have spoken!

A Growing Independence Movement in Karzon, Protesters Demand more Autonomy for the Island of Karzon


Karzon Nationalists Seek Greater Autonomy for the Island from Dolgavia

The normal peace and quiet of Jekabvinas was disrupted today by protesters outside the Vabariik (Regional) capital. The protesters demand that the Island of Karzon seek greater autonomy from Dolgavia and that the unique culture and people of Karzon be protected. This is the first protest of its kind to ever appear. The long obscure group Nepriklausomybė Karzonui (Independence for Karzon) has been in the shadows of Dolgavian politics for many years, however they have made headlines as around 1000 members and concerned citizens marched in the regional capital this morning. The group is mainly Karzonian (OOC: Latgalian) and Azkulians (OOC: Lithuanians) nationalists which have made up a minority in Dolgavia for many years and have coexisted with the Dolgavians and Hulstro-Dolgavians for millennia. Their demands include, the Recognition of the Karzonian Language as the official language of Karzon, Installing a regional government and giving more power to Karzon to govern itself, and to create a self autonomous region and issue Karzonian passports. These ideas may seem radical for many people across Dolgavia, but this protest has shown that in Karzon there are people who want something different.

In a press briefing today the Prime Minister was asked about Karzon and the idea of an semi-autonomous state and he replied

"Never in Karzon's history has it been a completely autonomous state. I do not think it is wise to start now. Dolgavia has been a unified state for many, many years. Most Karzonians want to stay in Dolgavia. This idea for a separate state is absurd... Karzon is Dolgavian that's it. The people have no wish for independence, This would not be wise and quite frankly this would ruin Karzon's economy. These protests are not going to change a fact which has existed for thousands of years. Karzon is apart of Dolgavia, end of discussion".

Will anything come out of this? It is too early to find out but these recent events are such interesting and only time will tell if anything comes out of this.
