Dolgavia Launches First Satellite into Orbit from Wolfgang Petermann Airforce Base, Queen and Cabinet in Attendance.

Yesterday Dolgavia launched its first satellite into orbit. The medium rocket that took it to space was Dolgavian designed and a new prototype model for future joint Istalian-Dolgavian space missions. The satellite is designed for a secure network for all Dolgavian Embassies and Consulates to communicate with each other. The mission was called Drakon l named for the ancient Dolgavian god for thunder. The rocket shot through the sky above Dolgavia before making it into orbit and successfully releasing the satellite. This is the first rocket to ever be launched in Dolgavia, this is also the first launch to be almost entirely made up of Dolgavian personal. This launch was not completely a smashing success however as the rocket that the satellite was sent on failed to land on a barge meant to capture and save the rocket for future uses. However the mission was still a huge success. Dolgavian engineers have for months been clearing a space at the air force base for a Rocket launch. One month ago they finished their work and the mission was green lighted two weeks ago.



Director of the Dolgavian Space Agency, Domicella Strautmane said in a press conference after the successful launch,

"Today I could not be happier with the Dolgavian Space Agency, we have begun the journey of sending many Dolgavian satellites to space. Soon businesses all over Dolgavia will want to put up satellites, this is just the beginning, Well Done to the crew and mission control, and the many Istalian scientists and workers who worked on this project with us. I know for a fact that in Istalia their mission control was actively monitoring and assisting Drakon all of today, Well Done to everybody, Thank You".

The Queen was at the launch even when she is several months pregnant and made these comments after the launch,

"I was present at the launch of Drakon today. It is one of the most exciting things I have seen in my life. Seeing a large object roar into the atmosphere above the Dolgavian countryside is sure a sight to behold. I would like to congratulate everyone who is involved on a job well done".

Queen Konstanja has given birth to a son, at St. Ruth's Hospital near the Royal Palace in Dolgavia. The baby boy was normal weight weighing in at around 3.7 kg. The baby was at exactly 7:43 am this morning in Aikums. The royal palace released the following statement officially confirming the birth

"Her Majesty Queen Konstanja the First gave birth to a baby boy at around 8:00 this morning at St. Ruth's Hospital. The baby boys name is Prince Frederick, We thank God that he is safe and healthy and we praise him for this birth, Long Live Prince Frederick and Long Live Dolgavia".

The Prince will be the first Dolgavian Monarch to have the name of Frederick and the first King in 3 generations. Today Monarchists across Dolgavia celebrated the birth of the future King. Fireworks were launched across major cities in Dolgavia as this day is the beginning of the next generation of the Dolgavian monarchy!

Dolgavian Officials Lift Economic Santions on Likatonia

Dolgavian PM Joris Ulke announced the lifting of sanctions on the Republic of Likatonia that were put into place in 4670 over 100 years ago. In that time Dolgavian-Likatonian relations have been rocky and times have been tough for both nations but the criteria has been met to life the sanctions. The Prime Minister laid out his reasons for lifting the sanctions, saying

"Today we end a bitter time for Dolgavian and Likatonian relations. Today the bitter stain of the CRP and its allies and Dolgavian and Likatonian tensions. These sanctions were put into place because of the dangerous actions of Likatonia and the repeated attempts to undermine sovereignty and to spread a state controlled religion across Terra. Today Likatonia is a different place. Today it is a new exciting country. We have no gripe with Likatonia. They have a thriving democracy that we 100% support. I hope that we can start trade relations between us and them very, very soon".

Overall the reaction was overwhelmingly positive in Dolgavia. The Reichstag applauded the new Likatonian Ambassador as he let them know about the lifting of the sanctions. This could start a new series of positive relations between the two countries as the wounds still heal.

Quick Report: KECCO Talks Resume in Aikums

Leaders of Keris met once again after a long absence in Akiums today to discuss logistics and plans for the proposed economic agreement known as KECCO. The governments of New Endralon, Egelion and Dolgavia met at the Aikums Convention Center along with businesses and corporate entities in Keris. The talks focused on scenarios that would play out which could cause difficulties for the proposed Economic Organization which hadn't been addressed. Such as conflict in the Keris region and sustained financial crises. The planners organized plans and deals which would first help the nations inside of KECCO and to address long term economic hardship in the Keris region as well. The talks also focused on how KECCO would interact with other Economic Organizations such as the WDEA or the Artanian Economic Agreement and other organizations. Since these organizations are a single entity the planners debated how to interact with these companies and how to trade fairly and equally. The organization still has a ways to go before it is reality but the 3 governments of Keris are pushing to make KECCO a reality very soon.

Queen Konstanja in an interview discussed current events and her thoughts on recent happenings. The main topic being the death and execution of war criminal and disgraced royal of the Catena family of Keymon. Her statement was surprisingly long and flagrant towards the former Prince saying

"I feel a little bittersweet today with the death of Prince Carlu. He was no good and an absolute turd in society and for the Keymonese people. He during his later life supported a country and a regime which is too big for its own borders and supported an ideology which is radical obsurd and absolutely crazy, the concept of a Greater Malivia.
However Éva's decision to kill her own brother in my opinion was a cruel move. I could have hoped that in this situation peace and reconciliation could have been achieved. However I understand the gravity of Carlu and what he has done. His moves were not justified, however killing him? Is this really the best way this could have been dealt with? No international investigation, no diplomacy, a kidnapping and execution... This rubs me wrong. Sure the Prince was a SOB but I could not see myself killing my family member no matter what they have done. However I haven't dealt with what Éva has so who am I to judge. At the end of the day an evil man is dead, there is nothing I can change about this situation, the Keymonese people have their justice it is now time to forgive and move on"...

The Queen also commented on the continuation of KECCO, her comments on the subject was

"I think this is one of the best things that has happened to the continent of Keris. Seeing most of the countries of Keris coming together to work together for the future is really enlightening. I believe that this is not only good for Dolgavia but for all of Keris. I am glad that this is taking place. This is a time where we will be seeing more meetings and eventually action will be taken and I believe KECCO will become an organization meant to help Kerisians".

Aikums Police Raid Thetanism Compound Megachurch in Dolgavia, Discover Horrifying Things!!!

Aikums Police are still investigating and raiding the large compound of the Dolgavian Branch of Thetanism a religion which has for many years been debated as a religion. The religion is based on using a process called "Dianetics" to cleanse one self from Treggers (or bad thoughts/feelings). These Dianetics are used using a controversial machine known as an "E meter". The "E meter" measures the amount of Treggors you have in your body and through a process called "auditing" a auditor will hear your deepest darkest secrets and help heal you. This has lead to some claims of brainwashing and mental abuse from the church, they record these sessions. The sessions are paid for and the follower to achieve a full state of cleanliness must pay for hundreds of these sessions. This practice has been criticized for many years all over Dolgavia and Terra. The so called religion was created over 500 years ago by a Dranian man named Elon Hakins who apparently made millions of dollars from the religion but this is debated.


The "E meter" which is scientifically known for measuring ones perspiration.... Thetanists disagree however...

Police were alerted to the Holy Church of Want in Aikums at 7:00pm from a 5-4-4 call about people being taken prisoner inside the compound. Inside the compound police found 6 females in the 20's chained to a wall and in a state of "purification" a form of punishment when a Thetanist tries and speaks out against dianetics and such. The victims were only in the containment for a week and had enough food and water to survive but this practice is barbaric and insane... The police continued their raid and found classified documents stating that Thetanists have clans and cells all over Terra and that they own off shore bank accounts. The papers also held several conspiracies including an attempt to plant Thetanists into several major countries including Dorvik, Dolgavia, Luthori and plans for several other countries. The Dolgavian Government has ceased piles of material showing many schemes and other material which it seems is exposing this so called religion for money laundering, theft and shady business practices. The Dolgavian Department of Human Affairs has already alerted these nations about the possibility of other hostage situations as well. Over 500 Thetanists have been taken to custody and the police are tracking down over 100 more for conspiracy against the state and kidnapping and holding people against their will. The Thetanist Church has been exposed and it will only be a matter of time before the Government and the media understands the full extent of the Thetanists plans and illegal activity but one thing is for certain. This so called "religion" is in real hot water.

Already leaders of the many Hosian circles in Dolgavia have spoken out. The Arch Patriach of Dolgavia called the case "disturbing" and a "terrible situation". Protests have already started taking place around the several other smaller churches around Dolgavia which have been cleared and not illegal activity was found in these places. The question is. Will the Government of Dolgavia fight against this worldwide cult? Is this the end of Thetanism??? This weird and secretive religion has been scrutinized in the past but for hte current leader Markus Dominuque and the leaders of Thetanism there will have to be some serious explanations. It is not ok to have anyone held hostage anywhere. This is surely a terrible set of circumstances...

December 12th marks the annaversary of Dolgavia's Liberation from the UKSR or the Union of Keris Socialist Republics. For many years in Dolgavia it has been a day of celebration and it marks of end of the darkest days of Dolgavian Existence. Times where Dolgavia was thrust into the clutches of Trigunia and forced to follow them under every whim. Times are much more different now. Dolgavia is becoming a regional power and already Trigunia has been put under Dolgavian Influence. The Dolgavian economy is becoming the largest economy in Keris and the emergence of KECCO could see Trigunia isolated and not in a good position. The Dolgavian Prime Minister echoed anti-Trigunian sentiment today by calling for reparations against Trigunia for the treatment of Dolgavia during the UKSR.

"Today the UKSR is a distant memory, a distant past of terrible consequences... Trigunia made Dolgavians suffer, I promise we will never submit to Trigunia ever again. Trigunia has long gone away from the menace that is Communism, however the suffering of the Dolgavian people must be repaid. I respectfully ask the Trigunian Government for 4.5 Billion DOLs in reparations for Dolgavia. This is only a small price to pay for the millions of Dolgavians that suffered under the regime that was the UKSR. Trigunia must repay what they did to Dolgavia and Kizenia and Egelion. We sacrificed so much for the name of "communism" but we were just Trigunia's doormat. Now it is time for our vengence against what was done to us. Thank You".

These series of comments mark an interesting time for Dolgavian-Trigunian relations which historically have been shaky. What will be the long term effects of this action is unknown but this is a significant development...

SMS Hodari Aquired From Lourenne - Dolgavia Aquires Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier


The New SMS Hodari acquired from Lourenne. The Aircraft Carrier is in Good Shape and Is fully Functional

Lourenne in an attempt to cut costs and save money for its space program has sold its King Philippe Class carrier to Dolgavia for 2.3 billion DOLS. The carrier is one of the few carriers Terrawide to be powered using nuclear reactors. The carrier can carry 30-40 Unionfighters and several helicopters and will significantly expand Dolgavia's Naval capabilities across Terra. The new Carrier has had a long and storied history with Lourenne and Dolgavia is keeping all awards and decorations it has earned along with future Dolgavian awards. The 1st fighter squadron will be making it's home on the SMS Hodari. This aircraft carrier is a significant pickup for the Dolgavian navy and will further Dolgavia's capabilities to carry out operations in the Mad Dog Sea and elsewhere. The carrier will spend 5 months in renovations before reporting for active duty in Dolgavaoplis. The carrier will be the flagship of the Dolgavian First Fleet which will consist of 6 Frigates, 1 carrier and 14 small craft and fast attack craft along with logistical tankers and support ships.

The money spent on the aircraft carrier will be mainly spent on the Lourennian Space Agency, a cause that the Dolgavian Government will actively support, Dolgavia currently has an active space program of its own and looks for Lourennian-Dolgavian space ventures in the future.

Dolgavia has kept a military strictly used for Defense of Dolgavia for some time. Ever since the Dolgavian Civil War the capabilities of the Dolgavian military had been hampered with and morale and strength was weak. However over 100 years later Dolgavia has gone through significant reforms and the culture and the people have changed. So the Minister of Defense Otomars Bērziņš announced today a new program of Dolgavian Panzer Divisions. Before this Dolgavian Tank crews existed inside Motorized Infantry Divisions. The tanks are scattered and therefore this poses several problems. 1. Despite having strong infantry, this method could not stop enemy armored divisions. 2. This caused logistical nightmares and support and engineers had to move from division to division and finally 3. Dolgavia possessed no true offensive divisions. Because Dolgavia had their tanks spread out and not in a specific division, the tanks could not be utilized for offensive warfare. This caused several problems... However Dolgavia is consolidating all their tanks they have acquired into modern formidable tank divisions. These divisions are to resemble Dorvik's elite Panzer Divisions and will be able to provide Dolgavia with a quick response unit which will be able to smash through enemy divisions of armor or infantry. These Panzer Divisions will contain 15,000 men a peice.

The structure of these Panzer Divisions will follow the Dorvik model almost entirely however the Dolgavian tank divisions will be slightly smaller. Each Panzer division will include around 15,000 troops (10,000 during peace operations). This new system consolidates numerous smaller battalions into large divisions and puts Dolgavia's tank battalions on par with even the most powerful armies in Terra. The first Panzer Division that will be created will merge several existing units into a fighting force. The 1st Dolgavian Panzerių skyrius (Panzer Division) will include the following units.

The First Panzer Division is already being formed near the town of Smeltburg and will be operation in around 8 months. The Dolgvian Army now has sophisticated tank divisions and has stopped the philosophy of mixing tanks into Infantry Divisions. This practice has been proved time and again to not work and now Dolgavia is abandoning that practice and entering a new chapter in the land forces history. This is not the end however. Dolgavia is already ordering more tanks and will be making subsequent tank divisions which will only boost the Dolgavian Army's capability. For many years enlisting in the Dolgavian army meant you were more than likely going into the reserves, however with this recent wave of militarization Dolgavia is looking to have a permanent fuctionable army

The Permanent Dolgavian Land Forces now includes the 1st Mechanizuotoji Pėstininkų Padalinys otherwise known as the "Red Slayer" Division, This mechanized Infantry Brigade has a long and storied history and smashed the Syndicalists in the Dolgavian Civil War. It is made up of the following,

4 More of these Mechanized Infantry Division Exist and are scattered across Dolgavia during peace. However they are always on quick response for times of war and can be activated very shortly. The reorganization of the army due to the restructuring of the Dolgavian Armored Divisions will help logistics and communication and command structure significantly because the tanks will be all in one place and organized. Military personal across Dolgavia have applauded this move and welcomed this much needed reform into the Dolgavian Land Forces. The Army plans on creating more Mechanized Infantry Divisions and look to bolster the Dolgavian Army even further.
