With the passing of the Racial Cleansing Act of 2957, the last lingering non-aryans, as the Fire-Cross Party refers to them, have been forced to leave Dolgaria before Mars 2957. Any more than 6.25 % of 'non-aryan blood' will exclude you from the aryan race. The defining characteristic of aryan-ness will apperently be having fair skin. All this means that about 18 million people, or 3.0 % of the population, will be deported. Among these are approximately 2 million jews. At least the state has the kindness to pay the transporting costs.

Chancellor and leader of the Fire-Cross Party Visvaldis Jaunozoliņš was found dead in a forest this morning. It was soon revealed that he had been killed by an enraged dolgarian silver bear during a nature walk. Visvaldis Jaunozoliņš lived to the age of 58.
The young Ugis Lejiņš have been appointed the new leader of the Fire-Cross Party, and will soon be the new Chancellor of Dolgaria.

The latest election in Dolgava has resulted in a massive surprise win by the Progressive Green Party. The party had started its electoral record with 0.04% of the national vote in 2953, the rest going to the Aryan Socialist Party, now known as the Ugunskrusts (LL). It then climbed to .26% in 2958. Then, the people of Dolgava voiced their opinion loud and clear; they wanted change. The PGP won 56.48% of the votes n the latest election. In response to the unexpected defeat, Ugunskruts leader Ugis Lejiņš (2958-2963) stepped down, to be replaced by Edzus Insakovs. PGP leader Jazeps Crowley now takes the office of head of state, or Vadītājs.

After the New Beginning Act, the first piece of legislation introduced by the Progressive Greens in their rule, passed by 119 PGP votes to 80 Ungunskrusts (LL) votes, the leader of the Ugunskrusts, Edzus Insakovs, has declared the party inactive. After 33 years of competition and 20 years of ruling Dolgava, the Fire-Cross has laid down to rest. PGP leader Jazeps Crowley reportedly said to Insakovs, "I'll miss you Nazis."
When asked of current and future plans for Dolgava, Minister of Internal Affairs Talis Kennedy replied, "We plan to help Dolgava through her slow but vigorous transition to freedom from tyrany."

Dolgaria condemns and warns Keymon, Hutori

Dolgaria has responded to the attrocities committed by the Keymonite military against Darnussia in a sternly worded statement.

Whereas Keymon has intentionally bombed civilian targets with nuclear weapons, and engaged in unprovoked and unjustifiable attacks on civilian targets, including refugee camps, and maltreated prisoners of war in defiance of the standards of international law and decency

And whereas Hutori, acting as Keymon's ally, has blockaded and made war against Darnussia,

And recognizing that Keymon was originally founded by Dolgarian expats.

It is hereby resolved that:
- Dolgaria's military is placed on alert, for preparation of actions against either Keymon, Hutori, or both
- Dolgaria hereby calls upon Hutori to withdraw from its war against Darnussia. If it does so, Dolgaria pledges no hostilities against Hutori for actions it took prior to May 3037, and will urge its allies to do the same.
- Dolgaria calls for the resignation of the ruling party of Keymon, and the end to its support of terrorism within Darnussia and elsewhere
- Dolgaria hereby suspends all trade with Keymon, and suspends all Keymoni assets in Dolgaria
- Dolgaria warns Keymon that further gross human rights abuses may be met with a military response.

Empress Hikaru and Vadītājs Riorden issued a joint statement strongly urging the Hutori military to seek a cease-fire with Darnussia and withdraw. "The Hutori people and government must know they have allied with an unstable and unreasonable madman, who can only bring disaster upon any who stand with him, in Roy Versteeg. But the Hutori have, themselves, not committed any great wrongs, and we would not see them punished for being misguided."

Keymon, on the other hand, ought be afforded no such consideration. "The Keymonese government has proven itself reckless; a clear and present danger to all nations, no matter their ideology or geography. Only a madman like Roy Versteeg would think he could drop nuclear warheads on a much larger nation, and then bomb refugee camps, and use the excuse of war to justify such barbarity."

Izquierda Republicana's landslide election win has led to a socialist revolution where the old order has been comprehensively replaced

With surprising speed, Republican Left (and its overwhelming 96% of the vote) has nationalised all industry, abolished lower rates of income tax, and introduced a whole litany of socialist measures. The flag has already been changed, to a horizontal tricolour, and the Internationale has become the official new anthem.

According to the reports, the monarchy and Seima (parliament) have been abolished; replaced with a Presidency and Supreme Presidium of the people. It has already passed measures such as the State Atheism Act, Peoples Democratic Republic Act and nationalised all radio and television channels.

President Itzal Azana declared to an assembly of the international press:

Our peoples revolution shall see the wholesale abolition of the bourgeoisie, capitalism and any opposition to the socialist end goal of workers utopia. History is on our side, and so is the Dolgavan working class people. Therefore, to further demonstrate our resolve to the international community, we are abolishing the stock exchanges within our borders. Workers of the world UNITE!

Domestic reports indicate largescale tax redistribution going on, with GDP-inflating government spending - which is dramatically reducing unemployment.

Following a near-unanimous vote in the Supreme Presidium, the people have voted to have the name of the republic changed to match the new body:

Peoples Democratic Republic of Dolgava (PDRD)



Itzal Azana of Dolgava's 'Republican Left' has founded a new communist bloc country. The PDRD is to be viewed as a new construct, a new state. Founded with Republican Lefts election victory on February 3266, the socialists quickly disbanded the bourgeois Siema.

Under the aegis of a new constitution, and a new peoples assembly called the Supreme Presidium President Azana has been raised to the position of eternal president of the peoples republic.

It represents a new era in Dolgavan history, with official state socialism the norm.

Due to anarchist and Green party activities, the Republican Left government has radically reformed the relationship between state and individual. Most forms of liberal (bourgeois, therefore wrong) notions have been done away with. Totalitarian vanguardist political operation is now official and permanent.

On the foreign policy front, the Eternal President has announced that Dolgava will only have relations with members of the newly founded Socialist Bloc countries.
