The Dolgavan Prime Minister made a state visit to Luthori for the past 3 days where she delivered on a deal that would bring Dolgavan investments in the private sector and some in the public sector into Luthorian economy. Krämer marks the first Dolgavan major government official to step foot in the country in many decades. She spent a day meeting with the Luthorian ambassador with Dolgava and several heads of Dolgavan manufacturing companies as well Dolgava Hidroelektrostacija the state owned Hydroelectric power company which is known for building quality hydroelectric plants.

The deal will put Dolgavan companies and firms at the forefront in developing the Luthorian economy in exchange they will get access to the Luthorian economy for selling goods and services as well as employment for Dolgavans and an extra stimulant to the Dolgavan economy. Several Dolgavan private manufacturing firms will begin making subsidiaries in Northriding, these ranging from factories creating computers to farming equipment and many more things. Dolgavan business and financial leaders are eager to invest in a foreign market as it means extra growth and development for these companies. The Prime Minister met with the Luthorian Prime Minister and his cabinet and later on met with the King of Luthori as well and toured several important sites around the country.

The energy sector will also get some experience and action in Luthori with Dolgava Hidroelektrostacija building 3 decent sized hydroelectric plants in Orange & Erneshire. These plants are expected to provide an estimated 500 megawatts of power between the three dams. These will also provide experience to Dolgavan workers which are expected to begin production of several hydroelectric plants in Dolgava, a spokesperson for the company said

We have and always will provide excellent products and we will be making very good quality dams in Luthori to help boost their energy production.

Another facet of the deal will include Luthori Air, now providing flights from Luthori to Aikums, and Dolgava Air now being able to access Luthori, making it much easier for Dolgavans and Luthorians to travel directly between the two nations. With Luthori's seemingly untapped market this could be seen as a major win for Dolgava's Airlines industries.

Finally capping off the deal, Dolgavan Contractors will be building in the coming years a large deep water seaport in exchange for free movement of Dolgavan vessels and safe harbor for Dolgavan naval vessels inside this port. This is seen as a major step in Dolgavan foreign policy in Artania along with their continued alliance and friendship with the Kingdom of Dorvik. The port details are not yet known and officials have stressed this is a future plan and construction and plans will not begin immediately.

This deal marks the first bit of foreign policy for Sofia Krämer and her administration, one that is seeing the growing Dolgavan economy look overseas for growth and helping an economy that is coming out of decades of isolation. For Dolgava it marks a good opportunity to work with other nations but also to grow its influence abroad.

Dolgavan Prime Minister Makes Statement on Trigunian Incident

Dolgavan Prime Minister Sofia Krämer made a statement to Dolgavan and also Trigunia following the reported incident that took place between Dolgavan and Trigunian planes in International Waters. She along with the Ambassador to Trigunia that made a statement similar from the embassy in Trigunia reads as follows.

The response from Trigunia has been in Dolgava's opinion unjustified, the Dolgavan Ambassador to Trigunia has made clear that this in no way was an act of aggression and standard procedure to any airplanes flying near Dolgavan Airspace as a matter of the security of Dolgava, our armed forces, our shipping and our people. When it comes to protecting Dolgavan National interest, Dolgava does not have to answer to anyone. However we would like to remind the Trigunian Government that no international law was broken in the incident from either side. We would like to tell Trigunia to please reconsider flying their planes close to our airspace, as we have a competent military and any attacks by pirates or others will be met with decisive action!

Many in Aikums are furious not by the incident but by the seemingly uncalled for move by the Trigunian government. Several Members of the Dolgavan Parliament including the far right faction of the Conservative Party, praised the Rapid Response Task Force saying

We have seen this unit already do its part to ensure Dolgavan sovereignty and security. Good work to these brave men and women in the skies protecting us. Trigunia is trying to make this seem like they are the victim, when they were the ones that flew too close.

The Dolgavan Government has continued to stay on good terms with the Trigunian government however this most recent provocation is starting to change moods inside the Reichstag and indeed the government as a whole. It is only a matter of time to see how this situation plays out, but a rising of tensions between these two states could mean uncertain times for Keris.

It was a very dark day for Dolgava, one that the country had not seen for centuries, one that will live in the minds of Dolgavans for decades. The nation was attacked by an unseen force, one that the government has scrambled all it's resources to find. To best get the most accurate picture of what happened we will tell you as it happened.

At 9:00 AM a disturbance was reported at the Fort Karzonpils regional capital, police arrived to find a hostage situation with the lobby being barricaded, the police standoff would grow as occasional gunfights would take place. 10 minutes later, 2 regional MP's for Karzon escaped the building and we still do not know exactly what happened.

10:23 a massive explosion enveloped the building completely destroying it! Unconfirmed reports of several trucks being parked around the building could have been the lead up to the explosion. Almost 400 people are dead with over 1000 considered missing in this attack alone. Experts are saying this explosion was a conventional weapon, probably close to a truck bombing.

At 10:30 a women entered the Dolgavan Parliament wearing a trench coat, she shot several guards outside the Parliament chambers with a pistol before entering Parliament. Parliament was in session debating a budget and had been discussing the blast in Karzon when she entered with a machine gun and opened fire. 35 members of the Reichstag lost their lives with 67 people injured from stray bullets and debris, guards were able to access the room 4 minutes into the rampage when she was shot in the head, killing her instantly. Reports of a bomb threat in the Reichstag were false but the building and the surrounding government sector was by now in full evacuation.

At 10:35 5 men tried to gain access to the Royal Palace but were shot dead by Snipers on the roof of the Royal Palace, this was after they were put into high alert. From the previous two attacks. The Prime Minister and her cabinet were taken to a safe location before she was shuttled to a undisclosed location in the Dolgavan countryside. The King and Queen and Royal Family were also evacuated going to an undisclosed military base. No royals were hurt or killed in the attack according to the Royal Palace.

At 11:00 from this location the Prime Minister made a televised statement calling the attacks a "terrible tragedy" and "a cowardly act". The Home Guard was instantly depoloyed and the entire country is currently under a curfew at 8 pm. She also said that she will "take every measure to ensure that justice is brought on those responsible".

Aikums, and Fort Karazonpils are completely shut down with police forces guarding every entrance and exit to the city. The Governor of Karzon was killed in the blast and a new Governor has been appointed by the Prime Minister, a completely unprecedented act as the entire State Legistlature was presumed dead in the massive blast. In the capital Dolgavan Troops have blocked off roadways with tanks, and have taken control of the situation, a similar scene across the nation with checkpoints being installed overnight on major checkpoints.

Churches across the nation have been tolling bells while the Dolgavan Navy has been deployed defensively with the entire military going on high alert. Little is known about the motive of who did this but more reports will be coming out in the coming days. We would like to give out deepest sympathies for everyone affected by this terrible act and those who have lost family members especially... For now we will wait on a Investigation into the attacks to see who is responsible

Dolgavan Military to Begin Anti-Terrorism Operations in Karzon


Soldiers ready to avenge last months terrible terrorist attack

Nearly 1 month has gone by since the July 10th terrorist attacks which killed hundreds of Dolgavans in terrible bloodshed. Dolgavans are picking up the pieces and on alert as the country is still in a state of lock down. The terrorist cell has been identified as a rouge militia radical terrorist group of self proclaimed "Karzonian Freedom Fighters", according to Dolgavan intelligence the group indoctrinated and enslaved several young girls ages 18-25 and men in their plans, one of these girls opened fire on the Dolgavan Reichstag. The group known for their red hair authorities say has probably changed their look, trying to hide from Dolgavan forces, however the Dolgavan military has other plans.

Several buildings on Karzon have been raided following the attacks in the past month with security forces finding clues about what this group wanted, from observation 99% of this group was made up of young adults ages 18-30. Posters show a free socialist utopia for Karzon with posters showing freedom fighters "fighting for Karzon". The Dolgavan Government has declared that anyone associated to this group are traitors and viable to execution on the spot by gunfire or else. Curfews across the country have entered almost 5 weeks with the Reichstag, Royal Palace and other important buildings still not reopened to the public.

The Prime Minister and the Reichstag have been strategically going from their offices and homes to undisclosed locations at random to prevent attacks as well as increased security in the capital.The Dolgavan Military will be using all its capabilities to target and find the terrorists both in Karzon and other Dolgavan states. The Prime Minister made a statement calling the new steps "necessary for Dolgavan security"

The Dolgavan Military will protect us from threats both abroad and at home. We have traitors, and radicals that have killed so many innocent people in the name of barbaric violence and hatred. It is time that Dolgava strikes back! We will not rest until the terrorists are defeated and Karzon is once again free, safe and peaceful again.

Attempts at removing the strict laws in place after the attacks from more libertarian minded government members have received major backlash as the government still reels from the dark horrors of that day. What little Karzonian separatism existed before the attacks has been crushed with 2 minor parties outright banned from regional and national elections and websites and social media accounts related to it taken down. The government has said that Karzonian separatism is "a well orchestrated myth", and that it never existed in the first place, insisting the island to be as Dolgavan as the rest of the nation.

The government is determined to find the ringleader and the group responsible and to end the traitors once and for all, but before that happens the country will still be reeling from the terrible events, trying to find peace, comfort and love during this time but still living on the edge, hoping that the matter will be dealt with soon.

Dolgava Pulls Deltarian Ambassador over "diplomatic backstab"


Vladas Grigelis the Dolgavan Minister of Foreign Affairs is reportedly "furious" with Deltaria, for insinuating that Trigunia was behind the July 10th attacks.

Tempers flared in Aikums this morning over a report from a Deltaria newspaper which has put greater strain and pressure on Trigunia-Dolgavan relations. The article put the blame on Trigunia for the July 10th Terrorist attacks. However the Trigunian government has taken this as a sign of Dolgavan blame on situation, something that the Foreign Minister made clear was a complete falsehood in a statement to Deltaria and Trigunia this morning. In his statement he cited evidence that points the blame of the attack at domestic terrorists and not Trigunia. The Dolgavan Government has pulled its ambassador from Deltaria saying that "his safety in Deltaria is being threatened". The Prime Minister has sent the Dolgavan ambassador to Triginia to clear up the situation and has reportedly been in a similar state of mind as the Foreign minister! The speech goes as follows...

The news article from Deltaria and the reaction to it are deeply concerning. I would like to make things crystal clear. The July 10t terrorist attacks one year ago were Domestic Terrorism. This was not from Trigunia, there is zero evidence of Trigunian involvement. Dolgava indeed has been very thankful with how our neighbors have responded to these attacks over the past year. However halfway across the world we are hearing a different story, a country trying to beat the war drums, trying to milk their tragedy for all it is worth in what seems to me to be a Trigunian crusade. However now they have gone into Dolgavan internal affairs and created a very difficult situation of our government and our relations with Trigunia, something we do not want and something we do not need!

In response to this unfounded claim we feel as if Deltaria has committed diplomatic backstabbing! We will be taking swift measures to make sure that Dolgavan Internal affairs are respected and that our name is not tarnished again. I have recalled the Dolgavan ambassador to Deltaria as I feel he is no longer safe in the country! Simple put these lies that Deltaria is spreading are now interfering in affairs they have zero business interfering in. Deltaria is playing a silly diplomatic dance and now Dolgava sees itself in the middle of it. Enough is enough. If Deltaria continues this action we will have no choice but to defend our sovereignty by means of sanctions further diplomatic recalls.

Dolgavan Economy in Freefall - Government Slashes Interest Rates attempting a Rally but Economy Hits Bear Market Territory

The Dolgavan Economy has been reeling from several economic factors some completely out of the Governent and the countries control. However today was simply the last straw, the Aikums Stock Exchange has plummeted almost 1600 points in the past 3 days ever since Trigunia announced lowering of oil production. The economy had been struggling for almost a year ever since the July 10th terrorist attacks, this and the martial law which followed lowered consumer confidence and stalled the market growth which had been progressing steadily ever since the Conservatives took office. However now with Dolgavan drivers and some key infrastructure relying on natural gas and Trigunian provided oil the slow market went into free fall.

Deltaria's press conference started the downturn with stocks ending 300 points lower that day however the announcement made earlier this month by the Dolgavan Government pulling their Deltrarian ambassador. However this rally back did not last long. Trigunia was going to respond and they did. With lowering of crude production, the high cost of gas skyrocketed overnight and energy prices did at the same time. This was the straw that broke the camels back.

The Dolgavan Government slashed interest rates from 6% to 4% and then to 3% however this did little to stop the fall, on day 3 the economy has hit bear markets with forecasters now forecasting a recession. For Dolgava this is not good news and growing resentment against Deltaria and Trigunia is growing. The Prime Minister has been in meetings all day discussing ways to calm the situation however many of these factors remain out of their control.

The Reichstag has floated the idea of giving Dolgava stimulus checks and raising spending on infrastructure especially for energy to speed up the process of getting off of Trigunian oil, however despite this it may be dark days ahead for Dolgava...

With the Dolgavan markets suffering and officially in a recession the Dolgavan Government has taken unprecedented action passing a massive spending bill. This bill will look to help the Dolgavan economy rebound and start a road to recovery. The bill which would provide 890 billion (660 billion TMUs) in aid for Dolgavans and the Dolgavan economy. First the Government will be taking out several loans to pay for this massive bill, several banks in Lourenne will be providing funds along with several other international banks. The Dolgavan government has promised to pay these loans off in the coming years. However for the time being Dolgavans especially middle class Dolgavans will receive money to help with the rising cost of energy.

The bill will also put money into the Dolgavan Economy by providing stimulus checks to all Dolgavans as well to try and jumpstart the Dolgavan economy. Many Dolgavans have been laid off or fired from their jobs with unemployment rising. This bill is expected to help the Dolgavan economy recover from the recession or at least take the initial steps to getting out of it. Also several infrastructure projects are being funded with this act in an attempt to speed up the process of getting out of Trigunian oil and gas. One project is a Dolgavan-Kalistani joint operation to build nuclear fusion reactors in Dolgava, something that Kalistan has successfully done several times, along with building a series of hydroelectric dams on the Island of Karzon to try and lower energy prices there. They will also be working with Lourennian companies to expand wind farms in Dolgava as well. The price of energy is expected to drop across the nation and until then and especially for the up incoming winter, Dolgavans will be helped. The stimulus checks will be divided out one per year for the next few years so that the funds are not all used immediately and that it brings long lasting impacts for Dolgavans. Interest rates have been slashed further to 1.5% to stimulate spending in Dolgava as well.

Some Right Wing opponents are calling the deal "wasteful" and "unsustainable" however it still passed with 95% of the Reichstag voting for it. The plan is being heralded as one that could save the nation's economy and one that will be helping Dolgavans of all backgrounds recover from this continuing recession. The Prime Minister called the deal a "historic commitment to making sure that Dolgavans can weather this storm and that we are stronger on the other side of this crisis. The Dolgavan Government is committed to helping the people of this nation and we are committed to continue to fight on and get past this". The markets have soared having their best day in a few months with the AIKSE gaining 1046 points the highest gain of the year. It is the hope of the nation that this large bill will help drag Dolgava out of this slump, which will not be overnight but will take lots of hard work, something Dolgavans can do!

Dolgava Lifts Sanctions on North Dovani

Dolgava has announced lifting of economic sanctions on North Dovani. This comes after a new Liberal Government has taken power in North Dovani. The former Fascist Government has been resoundingly expelled from the country and the potential for more open with Dolgava has risen considerably. Dolgava's Government has re-opened its embassy in North Dovani and regular communication between the two countries has been re-established. The Prime Minister called this deal a "big leap forward for liberal collaboration" in both Dovani and the entirety of Terra.

In a short statement she said

Dolgava will be lifting economic sanctions on North Dovani, we have in a short time seen this country transform from a regime of violence and war to one of Democracy, peace and stability. North Dovani is showing the world what Democracy and the voice of people can do. Dolgava looks forward to meeting with North Dovani and beginning the road towards friendship and cooperation. With this same attitude, we are seeing more and more states choose Democracy and the voice of the people over the voice of the oppressors.We look forward to working with and supporting a country that has fought against tyranny and has won.

Dolgava will also be talking with North Dovani oil companies according to sources close to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as gas prices remain high in Dolgava and with a different source of oil this could lower prices considerably as well as other goods and services.
