Disgraced Prime Minister Leaves Country on Unmarked Plane!?!?!? Dolgavian Government Concerned!

Former PM Lia Hergenröther left Dolgava in an unmarked Airplane today. The report came as pictures showing the former PM getting into the large airplane have surfaced throughout Dolgava. This is her private plane used to travel throughout Terra, she never trusted the official plane of the Prime Minister. Former members of her cabinet have no idea where she could be going. However former internet trends show she could be leaving for Istalia to see her uncle, Lourenne to visit friends or even maybe to Endralon, however this is unlikely. Many radio shows and members of the press have called the former PM a "traitor" but we can assume that these events are just a coincidence and that the former PM means well...

Dolgava has passed funding for a new Dolgavan news service called Free Kerisian News this news service will specialize in news for Keris and Dolgava and Trigunia especially. They will have reports in Luthorian and Dolgavian and Trigunian and run 24/7. The Luthori sevices will be broadcast in Medium Frequency Bands and will cover the entirety of Terra. The HF bands will also cover all of Terra and will broadcast news in several languages, like mentioned above. A total of 16 shortwave antennas are being put in at the Point Homars Military facility and will be used to broadcast news, foreign transmissions to embassies and military transmissions.

Each shortwave transmitter will run on 800 thousand watts and will have several directional antenna pointed at different directions and countries. The Free Kerisian News will be only on shortwave for now however plans are in place to make it on to the television. The news will use stories from all major newspapers and television stations in Keris and also broadcast "bias free" international news as well. The goal of this is to give Dolgavans and anyone interested constant access to the news and what is going on at all times and using shortwave this is and will be possible.

Dolgava and Hutori have agreed to a deal that would see 4 Sentinel Class Nuclear Powered Submarines. The submarines were sold to Dolgava for a very good price of 2 Billion HLR's. Dolgava has stockpiled enough cash and paid for the submarines without having to make payments. The 4 submarines sold were HMHS-Grendel, HMHS-Baelrog, HMHS-Vigillance, and HMHS-Wolverine. The Grendel will be named to the SMS Atvars the Baelrog to SMS Taifūns the Vigillance to the SMS Valvsus which is the Dolgavan translation of its former name, and finally Wolverine will be named the SMS Āmrija which is also the Dolgavian translation for its previous name. The four submarines have had their nuclear missiles removed for obvious reasons and will be arriving in Dolgavaopolis in a week.

The ships are 97 meters long, are powered by very quiet and quick engines and powered by 2 nuclear reactors. The speed of these vessels is 20 knots however in trials they have been able to reach speeds close to 33 knots. They can dive to over 300 meters and are virtually silent on sonar with some of the best silent engines in all of Terra. They are fitted with 6 torpedo tubes and storage for over 40 weapons total. They can also shoot cruise missiles and are compatible to Dolgavan missiles of this type. Many systems on board are top secret however and cannot be shared to the general public at this time.

The acquisition of those boats gives Dolgava a potent submarine force and extends the Dolgavan navy's ability to counter threats globally. Hutorian crews will have the Dolgavan crews go through extensive training starting now to learn how to use and operate them effectively. The class has been renamed the Atvars Class and each sub will go into port for more modifications as the others train. This will last a total of a year until they are refitted back up to standard. For now Hutori submarine crews will train Dolgavan Sub crews in the many aspects in operating a nuclear submarine.

Defense Minister Stephen Hammerschmidt spoke to Hutori and Dolgavan press today with the Hutorian officials and he said the following,

Today history has been made. Dolgava has never operated a nuclear submarine and has never operated a submarine fleet in its existence. Today marks a huge stepping off point for the Royal Dolgavian Navy. We now will be able to protect Dolgava further from threats and use these subs as measures to keep Dolgava from being bullied. I am proud that our rearming of Dolgava is working out very well and that Dolgava continues to grow in power and capability. We stand for Freedom and Unity in the North and we will stand with our allies, the NC and our many friends across the globe to better keep Dolgava and Terra safe.

Since the capability of these subs is limitless with a nuclear reactor, the Dolgavan fleet can now monitor and scout any sea, and ocean across Terra. The capability of the Dolgavan navy has gone from regional to Terra wide. Dolgava has done many great things in its history, It goes back to the days when Terra trembled at the sound of our rockets, now they will tremble again at the sound of our silence...

The Defense Minister for Dolgava Stephen Hammerschmidt announced today that Dolgava had bought 10 Diesel Electric submarines from Dorvik These submarines will make Dolgava's submarine force one of the most formidable in the entity of Terra. The subs can reportedly remain submerged without snorkeling for a long 12 weeks. Because of this they can traverse much of the world and still remain undetectable. The subs will be named S-1 through S-10. The submarines are armed with 6 torpedo tubes and storage for 12 total. The submarines main tasks will be to guard and protect the SMS Hodari and to sail with the larger Nuclear Submarines on missions and such. Their small size and quickness make them very reliable. They are also very clean and leave very little sonar trace at slow speeds. At fast speeds the sonar trace is very small as well and it is can sneak and be almost untraceable.

These submarines add more capability and escort duty for fleet movements and boosts the capability of the Dolgavan fleet. They will also conduct sonar scans or routes using their top of the line sonar capabilities. These submarines are small but capable for many missions that Dolgava will need them for.

Dolgava has also sold over 616 Million dollars worth of arms to Lodamun to help their military grow in defensive strength, the arms include several patrol boats, tanks, Troop Transports and cruise missiles. These will help Lodamun better protect itself and help pay from Dolgava's recent acquisitions in the navy. This also will deplete Dolgavia's escort fleet these are being replaced by the Type 212.

PM Announced Lowering of Spending on Health and Education Sectors


PM's new campaign to lower Government Spending and Balance the Budget

Prime Minister Jaanus Kapp has announced that he will be cutting government spending on the Health and Education sectors. The cuts will involve the treatment of international patients at Dolgavan that are internationally. Before this the Government has subsidized emergency hospital visits in Dolgava. These reforms will be cutting coverage for healthcare for others as well like those that are not Dolgavan citizens. Dual citizens will still have access in these reforms but the reforms will affect non-citizens to Dolgava. The Prime Minister spoke in a short statement

Dolgava is cutting unnecessary spending. We must make Dolgava a place where the Government takes responsibility for its spending. We have cut educations funding as well. We must spend out money inside schools to help children and teachers, not for programs that don't work. Dolgavan schools are filled with too much Government charities. We will keep free lunches however we must end these events that make no sense. That is what we will be doing. We must make Dolgava a smart spender. We must spend smartly so we can balance the budget and so we can spend more on things that are worthwhile like our military.

This is just the latest in the current governments cuts to government spending. They cut the salaries of unelected bureaucrats by almost 40% due to lots their salaries being higher than members of parliament and even some cabinet ministers. This is just the beginning of the Dolgava's attempt to make the Dolgavan Government smaller and less corrupt.

The Dolgavan Firearms Commission has released a new laxing of firearm regulations. The age to buy a firearm has lowered from the age 21 to the age of 18, this will be in line with existing drinking and tobacco regulations. The Minister of the Interior said that these laxing of relations come as a symbol of Dolgava's continued quest toward a smaller government with less control of civilians and keeping true to Conservative values. The Interior Minister Greta Kalējs said in a speech today that

Today is a big day for Dolgavans, a safe peaceful country that has some of the least restrictive firearms laws in Terra is about to become even less restrictive. To be in line with existing laws, the Dolgavan minimum age to carry is being lowered to 18 years old. We believe that all adults should be able to use firearms as important tools for everyday life. Dolgava has used firearms to defend itself, hunt, and for sports competitions for many centuries. We will continue to keep this alive and going as we continue to push onward. Firearms not only protect Dolgavan citizens from danger but we use it to do many things, like butchering, hunting, and such. We think that 18 is a great age for someone to start using firearms. We are glad for this change, it will help Dolgava to be more free and less restrictive.

Dolgava's firearm industry continues to thrive from small shops to large shops. Over 500,000 firearms were sold last year in Dolgava putting the estimated total of 24 million firearms now reside privately owned in the country, and crime rates remain some of the lowest in the region and in Terra, especially gun related offenses. This is due to a gun culture residing in Dolgava, people are using them from a very young age and it becomes part of life for people.

New Dolgavan Pop Band Makes First Trip to FOMAT


The Band Called, Falling Forte

New Dolgavan Band Falling Forte will be going to FOMAT to represent Dolgava again in the competition. Last FOMAT Dolgava took third, by far the best placing of a Dolgavan band. This time around a new group named the Falling Forte will perform,"Angel in Camouflage". The Dolgavan pop scene has not only stuck around since the legend of Viktorija Keblyte returned to FOMAT. Dolgava will look to do well in FOMAT once again and maybe, this year they could take the top spot. The band came on scene 4 years ago with several hits and this year the song Angel in Camouflage, a song in Luthori went up to number 1 and stayed there for a whopping 5 weeks straight, the hit and this band have reached star level in Dolgava and we hope they can become the first Dolgavan band to bring the gold back to Aikums.

We wish the Falling Forte the best of luck in FOMAT X and we hope they will bring home the gold.

Queen Svena of Dolgava has announced that Dolgava will be becoming an empire. This announcement was also approved by the Prime Minister as Dolgava looks to move to becoming an empire. Dolgava will use its status as an empire to instead of traditional imperialism and spreading its influence that was, instead it will influence Terra through peaceful means. Svena said in a letter to the Dolgavan Cabinet that this change would just elevate Dolgava's viability on the international stage. The Empire will not be an empire in the traditional sense but an empire in its ability to spread Dolgava's message of peace and unity throughout Dolgava.

The Prime Minister spoke at length today, here is a small excerpt of his speech,

Dolgava is a unique place. Today we have recreated the Dolgavan Empire after many centuries of its absence. Instead of the outdated systems of imperialism we will spread Dolgava throughout Terra by other means. The future is a place where countries of different backgrounds work together to promote. The Dolgavan Empire will be a force for good and stability throughout Terra, one where our ideas of peace will keep Terra peaceful. The Dolgavan Empire will simply use an old tactic to accomplish new goals... I thank you all for coming today and I wish you all well, Good Bless the Queen and God Bless the Dolgavan Empire

Some have argued that this move is completely ludicrous and will end up doing nothing, however the Dolgavan Empire has been born, out of a need for peace and stability in the North of Terra. The Queen and her government have proven that they are committed to putting Dolgava in the driving seat to becoming a world leader and influencer in Terra for years to come. For Dolgava the establishment of an empire devoted to peace and international stability is a good thing for Terra and Keris as a whole. Dolgava isn't changing, but the focus is still at making Dolgava and Terra peaceful. The priority always being Dolgava but also Terra for peace in our time.
