RSE Becomes Public, Starts Stock Market Engagement

Former state-owned enterprise and Dranian multimedia giant Red Star Entertainment officially becomes public to eventually engage in the stock market.

Protecting the company's Rowiet roots, RSE has been firm on being private, believing that capitalistic opportunism will plague the founding principles of the enterprise. One of Dankuk’s largest corporations refused to go public and potentially be bought out.

However, said principles appear to have been compromised as RSE finally decides to get in on the stock action that’s been shaping the Dranian economy these past months. RSE will hit the market as a public company on the 10th of December 4976.

This strategic change has been coupled along with an elaborate RSE 4978 Plan that has been introduced in a live press conference this November, which included the involvement and investment of RSE into theater arts, and the expansion of RSE Bianjie.

Cherry Picks Renovates and Expands

After years of being solely a ranking system, national music chart Cherry Pick has announced a comprehensive revitalization and expansion that will include venturing into music distribution, streaming, and public television.

Starting in February, the entity will launch physical music stores in Hyeokjin and Seongtaek, and an international digital music store. In March, Cherry Pick will also open a music streaming service that aims to promote more of Dranian music and make said music accessible to many.

In collaboration with RBC, Cherry Pick is set to produce a music show wherein nominated artists every week will vie for a trophy according to an established criteria that includes sales, streaming, and votes.

Critics and experts have said that Cherry Pick is now creating a monopoly on modern multimedia arts of Dankuk. Though contrary to what hearsay claims, this is a good move since it's an indication that the Dranian music industry has been seen as a good investment and still proves itself as a dependable cultural soft power.

RBC Announces Last Season of Idol Nation 101

The broadcasting company's highest-rating show, idol audition program Idol Nation 101 comes to an end with the announcement of its final season. As the trilogy goes off with a bang, the show renames itself into "Idol Nation X 101", a purely aesthetic change that caught the attention of many and leaving many at the edge of their seats.

Aware of the pent-up excitement of the public, the show's production team has mentioned that Idol Nation X 101 would be far more different from the franchise's two previous seasons. To be specific, a change in the audition format and determining the final lineup is expected. Another thing to be noted according to them is the relevance of "X", which may mean unlimited potential or possibilities. From this, it may mean that the season aims to produce an 11-member boy group that would go beyond the possibilities and potential of not only their predecessors, but also of the entire Dranian idol and music scene.

Like in the previous installations, high profile celebrities have been rumored to have joined, which includes allegedly a nephew of Yoon Taejin, the incumbent President of Dankuk. Beyond that, nothing is yet confirmed.

Idol Nation X 101 Releases Theme Song and Pilot Episode

RBC releases the theme song performance video of Idol Nation X 101, featuring all of the contestants performing in unison to the track entitled "X1-MA"

Leading the 101-member troupe in the clip is Dynamic Music's Yoon Juwon, the nephew of President Yoon Taejin.

DEF superstar Yoon Youngsoo will once again reprise his role as the show's host. Furthermore, a member of Dynasty and Dream Girls will accompany the host as part of the season's mentor panel.

For the show's last season, huge preparations were prepared, which included a change in the audition format and even the selection of the winners. Along with the theme song, the show's pilot episode was aired on RBC, which was met with high real-time viewership rates.

For this season, 101 contestants shall participate in various missions in order to form an 11-member boy group. While the first to tenth ranks of the lineup would be determined through the votes on the final episode, the "X" rank that shall be the eleventh member of the group would be decided from the acculumated votes throughout the whole season.

Besides the presidential nephew, other known names such as Seko-based performer Kawaguchi Yuri and Draniano soloist Julius Mariano has also joined the show.

Along with the release of the theme song music video and the pilot episode, voting has now commenced. People may visit the official website at idol-x-nation101.com and vote for their 11 favorite trainees. All public votes, including mission votes, would be tabulated until the show's first elimination round.

Idol Nation X 101 Ends, Group AXIS Formed

RBC's most popular idol audition program Idol Nation X 101 finally comes to an end with a special live finale episode featuring the 20 remaining contestants of the show.

The night started with a 101-member performance of X1-MA with MMM's Gonzalo Guevarra as its center, corresponding to the real-time rankings, followed by a series of performances by the 20 finalists, culminating with a moving song sung by the trainees and Yoon Youngsoo.

AXIS Makes Successful Debut

Kyo-pop boy group AXIS successfully starts their career as an 11-member group after winning Idol Nation X 101, the culminating season of the series.

Its debut album "Butterfly Effect" has charted on various music charts and trended real-time among social media sites in the country. It debuted at #1 on Cherry Pick, being the second idol group to achieve this feat from the creation of the music chart. The first one to achieve this was their predecessor group, Dream Girls.

Morever, fans flocked the Seongtaek Sports Arena to attend the group's debut showcase, in which 25,000 fans have bought tickets, making the show sold out in just 21 minutes.
