BREAKING: Minosasa Blasts Ultra Nationalists for Party Description "Disease" Comment
- Hypocrisy of the Ultra Nationalists not to be understated says Minosasa
- Discovery comes just days after UNPK Attacks Reform Party for being "Dictatorial"
- Minosasa says that the country would be better off if UPNK disbanded

The Leader of the Reform Party has heavily criticised the Ultra Nationalists for their hypocrisy in a press conference made alongside the new Prime Minister, Miralem Kusturica, and the new Deputy Leader of the Reform Party, Musa Kongoli. Speaking in front of the press, he presented the UPNK's own description of themselves which states: "The UNPK is dedicated to eradicating the existence of the reform party in our nation's politics for they are disease that needs to be cured." This comes just days after the UNPK claimed the Reform Party were doing the same thing to the Turjak Nationalists. Kusturica also commented on the UNPK comment: "Also please keep future party disputes mostly private only publicly sharing them if they will effect all of Kalopia," saying that the leader of the largest Party in Kalopia effects the "whole damn country."

In a very fiery mood, Minosasa told the press that the Ultra Nationalists are just "puppets of the Turjaks" and said that they should "win some more seats" before trying to square up with the most popular party in the country.

The hypocrisy is unreal. They claim we are trying to crush opposition? And then we find that they seek to eradicate us and view us as a disease? This is why people hate politicians. People like the Ultra Nationalists give us lot a bad name. It is unacceptable, and the Reform Party tell them in no uncertain terms, that they will remove it from their party description.

What these idiots fail to understand, is that the Reform Party won the elections. We are the people's favourite party. The Ultra Nationalists are tiny in comparison to us. This party, who is undemocratic to the extreme - one wanting to eradicate another party, and two not producing any legislation, and hence leaving their voter base abandoned - are failing the people. That, I believe is unacceptable, and distasteful, and I would hope they pull their act together before commenting on another party. They could at least win some seats. To be honest, it might just be better if they disbanded.

Also at the Press Conference, the Prime Minister said that the comment regarding private disputes was petty and unneeded:

Look. The Reform Party is the largest party in Kalopia. At the end of the day, the leader of this party is the most powerful person in the country.
We are the Party of the Kalopians. The Party of the Siphinans. The Party of the Majatrans. The Party of the Istochniaks. Who are they the Party of? Exactly - no one. Now when we are talking about the most important Leadership Election in the country since who knows when, probably since the Communist rule 100 years ago, you don't call it a party dispute. And if he is not aware, dispute or not, it effects the whole of Kalopia.

BREAKING: PM Says Jakania is Asking For War
- PM Miralem Kusturica warns Jakania that more border controls may constitute to conflict
- Says they are welcome to take as many Turjaks as they want
- However, the President calls upon his own Party to "level down the rhetoric"

Image
Prime Minister, Miralem Kusturica, came down harshly against the Jakanian Government.

The Prime Minister, Miralem Kusturica issued a strong warning today against the Jakanian Government, as he called them to remove the newly deployed border troops, and tone down the aggression. Emphasising that Turjaks would maintain their rights to vote under the assumption that they were Kalopian Citizens, Kusturica also said any Turjak was free to return to their homeland across the border. However, the President, Malan Berisha, who, in the eyes of Reform Party members, has become soft during his last term as President, condemned his own party, calling for them to "level down the rhetoric."

In what was Kusturica's first major individual speech as Prime Minister, he attacked the "dangerous" and "unprovoked" actions of Jakania. He blamed Jakania for unnecessary aggression, and reminded them that the Reform Party had already given assurances that Turjaks would be allowed to take part in the political process. He yet again repeated the party's adopted position that Turjaks are not native to Kalopia, and hence would be viewed as immigrants, but maintained that so long as they had citizenship, this would not infringe upon their rights. However, he did say that any Turjak would be "welcome" and "encouraged" by the Government to move back over the border to Jakania.

He also took the opportunity to take credit for the Jakanian President's election. "If it were not for the rightful position that we take here in Kalopia, the President in Jakania would not have had a platform to run on for the election. It is thanks to the Reform Party that he has the ability to oppose us currently. Should he continue to use this prerogative as Jakanian President, given to him by the Reform Party, to place troops at the border in a dangerous, and unprovoked manner, he will find himself having to deal with Kalopia."

Kusturica also took the opportunity to brag about Kalopia's success regarding the Solentia Border Wall Crisis. Claiming that the two nations now had amicable relations, he said that Jakania may well be heading down the same path - collapse followed by a reliance on Kalopia. "It is quite clear," Kusturica said, "That Jakania do not want this to happen. The Turjaks are proud people - perhaps too proud - and that will result in them backing down as soon as they see that their games will not work on us."

The Prime Minister also announced plans to bring a bill to the House in order to increase border control at the Jakanian border. He encouraged all paramilitaries to get involved, and "help the cause," in particular calling upon the KWIS and the Ultra Nationalists to do "as good a job" at maintaining Kalopia's integrity as they did during the Solentian Border Wall Crisis.

Further tensions within Kalopia itself are a given. With the Name Change Bill being passed, with the support of the Ultra Nationalists, the law now recognises Siphinan, Majatran, Kalopian, and Istochniak variants of the Great Kalopian Republic as Official Names of Kalopia. Whilst the Homeland Party claim this infringes on the minority rights of the Turjaks, the Reform Party maintain that, as a non-native ethnicity there is no reason for Kalopia to adopt a foreign language as an official language.

However, out-going President, Malan Berisha has called for his party to "level down the rhetoric" in order to prevent anything "overtly radical" happening. He said that his experience of the National Unity Cabinet shaped his views today. He reflected on his shift in view regarding Majatrans in Kalopia. "Just a few years ago, people would have laughed if someone said that a Majatran would run in a Reform Party Leadership Election and then be picked as a Spokesperson for the party. However, we have changed, and come to recognise the strengths of these people; perhaps the current leadership might do the same with the Turjaks." He ended with a memorable quote, saying, "Sometimes the people you think you hate actually turn out to be alright."

Whichever viewpoint is right, or if neither are, there will certainly be a lot more debate surrounding the spout between the Turjak Nationalists and the Reform Party. The next elections will provide an insight over public opinion regarding the matter, but until then, we can only speculate.

BREAKING: Minosasa Now President, as PR/KM/RP Win All 5 Regions in Legislative Election
- Reform Party loses 12 seats but successfully withstands return of Turjak, Homeland Party
- Minosasa wins 56-44 despite KWIS Candidate having support from both the UPNK and the Homeland Party
- President says the election proves public opinion on Jakania and the Turjak minority

Image
New President, Milo Minosasa, took the opportunity to once again call for talks between Kalopia and Jakania.

Milo Minosasa has comfortably claimed the Presidency, taking over from the now retired Malan Berisha, as the Reform Party performed better than expected in the elections, raking home 133 seats. Despite the reemergence of the Homeland Party, who were expected to significantly close the gap on the party who has held the Presidency for almost a decade now, the Reform Party won a plurality in all five regions - including Minosasa, which had eluded them for the past nine years. The new President said that the voters had demonstrated to the international community what Kalopia wanted, and that it would be his duty to fulfill that as their elected representative.

Most pollsters had expected the Reform Party to maintain a stable lead within the Grand National Assembly, but with large losses of thirty plus seats. This has not materialised, as the Homeland Party mainly took support from a mixture of the Knowledgeable and Wise Imam Society and the UPNK as they both lost other 20 seats. The UPNK can, however, be pleased that they have managed to follow the general trend of recent elections, and match the pollsters' predictions, in overtaking the KWIS in the legislature.

The Reform Party may be the happiest tonight, not at defeating the Turjak party, nor retaining the Presidency, but rather gaining a clean sweep of regions, adding the elusive Minosasa to their repertoire, following the region falling to the KWIS for over a decade. The KWIS fell apart in Minosasa finishing behind all the other competitors, and failed to finish above the Reform Party, the UPNK, or the Homeland Party in any region. The Ultra Nationalists performed well in Siphina, their usual hunting grounds, but were unable to overtake the Reform Party. Meanwhile, the Reform Party gained majorities in both Al-Najd and Seshold, as they have done since their reformation in 4320.

Minosasa addressed large crowds cheering as he thanked all the voters who chose the Reform Party. He said that the people had provided Kalopia with an agenda, and that their opinion regarding recent "controversy" had now been "fully established." He said that the international community should take note that voters refused the choice to vote for the Homeland Party, and said that the Kalopian voters had decided he was the best man for the job.

Thank you! Everyone. Thank you so much for your support in this election. Tonight was the most important night for a long time. The results that are being flashed over millions of TV screens in and out of Kalopia say this: That Kalopians have made their position quite clear. That Kalopians have decided that they do not want a Government that priorities a select few, based upon ethnicity, but rather a government that focuses on everyone. That is what they have voted for the Reform Party, and that is what we will now give them.

I want to use this opportunity to, yet again, extend a hand of friendship to our Turjak neighbours. I understand that this is the result they might not have wanted, but it is what they have got, and I would hope they will be willing to work with My Administration in order to de-escalate all this border troop melarchy. Further, I would hope that their aggression will begin to calm down, as they realise that the Homeland Party had a fair crack at the whip this election, but were just not good enough.

BREAKING: "Deltaria are making stuff up - again" says Prime Minister
- PM denies any minister was involved in the assassination of Deltarian Czar
- Says that Deltarian Detectives will not have permission to enter Kalopia but will assign Kalopian team to research the matter
- Warns Deltaria that Kalopia has a track record of standing up to local bullies

Image
The Prime Minister warned Deltaria that Kalopia was used to standing up to local bullies, and would easily deal with Deltarian military action.

Prime Minister, Miralem Kusturica, has denied that any minister had involvement in the assassinations of both the Czar of Deltaria, and his brother, and said that the Deltarians were "prone" to lie, and that their claims were unjustified and unsupported. He also lashed back at Deltarian threats of violence, saying that Kalopia had a proven track record at standing up to aggressive bullies in the area, and wasn't going to be phased by "yet another power-obsessed maniac".

It appears the new Kalopian Government can get no rest bite, fighting battles on three fronts; the Jakania Crisis, domestic squabbling, and now this. It this latest controversy the Deltarians have accused members of the Government of being involved in the assassination of the Czar, Norbert, and his brother Farkas. This is a claim that all cabinet ministers strongly deny. Reminding Deltaria that Kalopia "was a bit busy right now," Kusturica defended all of his Cabinet, calling them the best politicians in Majatra, and reiterating that Kalopia was an open, democratic nation that adhered to international expectations.

Kusturica made it very clear that no detectives would have permission to enter the nation, and that a team of Kalopian detectives would instead be tasked to investigate into the matter. Arguing that the Deltarians would be entering with a set objective of villifying Kalopia, rather than focusing on the facts, he said any operation conducted by Kalopia's neigbours would be biased, and would "produce results that do not match the reality of the situation." He claimed that Deltaria had an agenda, and were simply "making things up again," in attempt to gain greater regional power.

He also attacked Deltaria harshly for the new Czar's comments on military action. Speaking passionately about how they stood up to "aggressors" Solentia and Jakania, he told Deltaria that "Kalopia has a proven track record when it comes to dealing with power-obsessed, maniacal bullies in the local area. Deltaria are not the first, and most likely won't be the last to attempt to subordinate Kalopia. Like all the others, however, they will not succeed." He pointed to the situation of the Jakanian border currently, saying that Kalopia had the power to "wipe out" any attack that Jakania might throw at them.

"We are used to, through the Jakania situation, dealing with nations who might do anything at any time. We have the systems in place at every single part of the Kalopian border to prevent rogue nations attempting to take advantage of Kalopia. Just as we have toughened up with the Jakanians, so we will stand squarely up to Deltaria. Any talk of military action will be viewed as provocative, war mongering, behaviour, and the Kalopian Government will respond appropriately to it."

New Leadership In the UNPK

It was just time for Kulibay.

Said Ilboga Tuncer, the new president of the party yesterday night. After some complications with Kulibay the party ended up voting her out and appointing Tuncer as new president of the party. It seems that has a Tuncer has plans to take the Party in a different direction and wants to amend relations with the Reform Party. He already has made changes to party description removing the controversial disease comment.

Something Kulibay insisted it stay in the party description.
Says Tuncer
If we want to truly serve Kalopia to the best of our abilities we should stop our infighting.

Some of Kulibay's followers are a little salty about Kulibay departure and there is no doubt there will be conflict with in the party and its voter base. There is one thing that can truly be said many Ultra Nationalist are excited and eager for what the new party leadership will hold.

BREAKING: Deputy Reform Party Leader Among Four Implicated in Czar Assassination: All Involved Reject Allegations
- Four Cabinet Ministers named as playing a part in the assassination of Czar Nobert of Deltaria
- All four refute claims, calling the evidence "manipulated"
- President Minosasa and Prime Minister both say that extradition is not an option

The latest scandal in Kalopian politics. Four Kalopian Cabinet ministers, most notably Deputy Leader of the Reform Party, Musa Kongoli, have been implicated in the plot that led to the assassination of the former Czar of Deltaria. Alongside him were the Prime Minister's number-two, Foreign Minister Acacia Savas, as well as Cala Mali and Alddes Carras who have the portfolios of Internal Affairs and Infrastructure & Transport respectively. Despite this, all four have strongly denied any involvement in the plot.

The Majatran Alliance Investigative Task Force, tasked with the job of neutrally looking at claims that Kalopia was involved in the assassination came to the conclusion that the evidence provided by Deltaria was enough to incriminate the four ministers. It is believed that the ministers involved used the Deep Web to sidetrack both nations' intelligence agencies, and plot with a yet unknown group the death of the Czar.

Despite this, all four Cabinet Ministers rejected the accusations, with Kongoli making a brief statement outside his house saying he believed the evidence to be "manipulated by those who hate Kalopia," before retreating back in. Only Acacia Savas made the trip to work, out of the four ministers, but refused to comment on the issue when the inevitable rabble of press began pressing her. Savas did, however, release a statement later from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, saying:

The Foreign Minister refuses to accept a ruling from the Majatran Alliance Investigative Task Force that is simply untrue. She has never had contact with anyone on the Deep Web, nor conspired to kill another sovereign nation's Head of State. She has discussed the issue with the Prime Minister and the President, as well as her lawyers, and is confident that she has nothing to hide. Miss Savas also wishes to point out her distrust of any evidence provided by Deltaria. She hopes that both the President and the Prime Minister, as well as the international community, rejects this false report, and allow her to clear her name.

After a private meeting between President Minosasa and Prime Minister Kusturica, they announced a decision was taken not to accept the ruling, and refuse the handing over of any ministers, although their duties would be cut for the time being. Both expressed outrage at the outcome, and warned of seriously consequences for Deltaria should these allegations turn out to be false. The Justice Minister has ordered an internal affair to check the reliability of these claims.

The Prime Minister spoke to the press afterwards:

I can speak as someone who personally knows all four of these people who have been falsely accused today. I do not believe any one of them would ever plot, conspire, and plan to take the life of another human being. The President and I have agreed that we must place trust in our ministers, and for that reason, no handing over of anyone will occur, and Kalopia will grant all four full immunity under the basis that Kalopia does not accept that they have broken the law.

BREAKING: Kusturica: "Jakania and Deltaria may cost us the election"
- Says foreign aggressors have implemented smear campaign on the governing Reform Party
- Says that the Kalopian people must "protect their homeland" with a Reform majority
- Critics claim the time to overthrow Kusturica's "regime" is now

Image
The Prime Minister was optimistic, despite saying that this was the weakest the Reform Party had been entering an election since its reformation.

It's the run up to the 4334 Kalopian elections; elections that perhaps could prove to hold more of a punch than some analysts are predicting, many view it as the last chance for the Vatan Partisi to overthrow the Reform Party, who have held a hegemony over Kalopian politics for over a decade. Despite the Reformists popularity, they have seen their ministry rifled with controversy, and disagreement, and many Assembly Members are looking anxiously over their backs, worrying for their seats. The big change this election is the absence of the Knowledgeable and Wise Imam Society (KWIS), who collapsed shortly after the 4331 elections. Instead, the Ultra Nationalists, Reform Party, and Homeland Party will vie off to run the agenda for the next three years.

The previous three years, however, have been full of scandals and trouble. This began with the dissolution of the KWIS, who's disappearance caused a mighty power struggle within the Grand National Assembly. Whilst at first it appeared that the Reform Party were to removed of legislative power, they used the opportunity to continue their albeit reduced agenda, and press home a hard message against the foreign powers of Jakania and Deltaria.

And it is these two powers who may be used as the Reform Party's scapegoat, should large losses be amounted come May. Whilst the Jakanian peace talks will be beefed up as an international success for the government, most Foreign Affairs experts agree that the sharp u-turn from Jakania will undoubtedly contain a double meaning to it. Cirket Korkizoglou, the former head of the InternationalThought think tank in Kalopia, and candidate for an Assembly Seat in Seshold said, "International relations are based upon so many little niches and clauses that any decision made by any country, even the most unpredictable country, is never spontaneous. For this reason, rather than suggest that Jakania have an ulterior motive, we should assume it."

The other, more serious contention that the government have to face is Deltaria. Having refused a neutral body's ruling, Kalopia are sticking their neck out with their bold accusations of fraud. The four cabinet ministers will all have to face reelection, and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to gain their seats back. Whilst Kongoli and Savas, being senior members of the Reform Party are in very safe seats and should remain in government, the less experienced Mali and Carras will be wondering whether they can hold on to their seats - and if the government will continue giving them support if they do not.

The Prime Minister admitted that the Reform Party were not in the best shape to fight an election, but attributed this blame to Kalopia's neigbours. In a rather bullish speech, Kusturica set foreign policy as his key focus. He said that unless the regional scrapping came to an end, Kalopia wouldn't be able to safely focus on domestic affairs. Whilst he said that he was disappointed that more social reform hadn't been passed, he also said that his Ministry would be remembered for the legalisation of homosexuality - a "massive breakthrough".
