AMI continues to expand its' customerbase whilst consolidating the old one

Today, on the 5th of August 5460, Apex Military Industries leadership has announced two new mega projects marking a milestone in the company's history. The first project being the production of the long-awaited Whitney the Great-class missile cruisers which were being developed by AMI NSC along with Beiteynuse and Kundrati engineers, technicians and physicists. NSC officials have declared that the production will be split equally between the Luthorian and the Baltusian shipyard and that the production of all ordered cruisers (10) will last around 6 years, finishing in late 5466. They are going to be the first ships actively serving in the Baltusian navy but the BDF have already announced, that more orders are already on their way.

Secondly, McKinney also announced another arms deal with the Holy Luthorian Empire which is also currently their home country. The deal is going to be worth 2.5 billion LPD and will consist of mostly G16M4s, S110s and some APATL Mk4s.
Furthermore, it'll include an enourmous amount of ammo, preparing the Empire for a long-lasting war.

Last but not least, the CEO of AMI explained that the company started mass producing busses for the Baltusian National Transportation system and that they're also willing to help nations in need of public transport methods.

Invictus 1 - A successful liftoff

Image

Today, on the 2nd of December 5462, VA's first "Invictus rocket" took off from a temporary launch pad was constructed in the countryside of Baltusia. The prototype, consisting of 2 liquid-fuel stages and a test capsule, took off at 16:35 local time and reached its' orbital trajectory on time. During the flight the rocket flew using 8 out of 9 engines, as the last one didn't ignite upon takeoff. After successfully enganging the re-entry protocol, the rocket turned 180° by using its' RCS systems. The first stage, which had completed this task whilst still being in the atmosphere, managed to land back on a floating landing pad in the Anantonese Ocean.
The 2nd stage and the test capsule however burned up upon re-entry due to a failure in the decoupling mechanism.

All in all, CEO Harrington called the first flight a complete success and explained that the next flight will take place before New Years' Eve. Furthermore, the company stated that they're already working on a more capable, heavy-lifting version of the Invictus.

EcoRobotics - Baltusian Automatization
Image

As more funding flows into deep tech to address difficult global problems like climate change, Ph.D. entrepreneurs coming out of Baltusia's top universities and labs are increasingly turning their research into companies.
Baltusian spinout EcoAI, founded in 5463, is one example. Its co-founders, CEO Mike Gallagher and CTO Benjamin Johnson, both PhDs in nanoelectronics and recognized researchers in the field of artificial intelligence left the "Insitute of AI and Robotics", a laboratory of the National University of Baltusia, with two licensed patents under their belt.

Since then, Gallagher and Johnson have registered more patents and brought on a third co-founder, Elijah Garcia, as their chief revenue officer and partnership director. They also raised an $8.7 million BLD round of funding from Vista Aerospace, AMI's Tech Department, and Freedom Frontier Medicals' research fund.
CEO Gallagher & CTO Johnson declared in a joint-interview with us that the company will focus on industrial AI usage in the manufacturing sector. They're also looking forward to enter the super computing and the quantum computing sector. Gallagher's vision of the future of Baltusia may hold a lot of change and improvement.

Experts claim that AI and Robotics will gradually improve the quality of life as work will slowly but surely become obsolete and people can spend more time with their family, friends and their hobbies instead of spending 40 hours per week in a factory.

Vista Aerospace launches first Satellite - Cooperation with ArtSat

It has been announced that ArtSat, an Internet Service Provider from Kundrat, is going to use Baltusian "Invictus" rockets in order to put their communication satellites into low-terra-orbit. The first rocket will be launched in 5465, from a launchpad in the Baltusian countryside. ArtSat has also stated that Baltusian rockets will be launched from partnered Beiteynuse launch sites in 2 years. A spokesperson from Vista Aersopace, the company manufacturing and developing the rockets, mentioned that they're looking forward to more cooperation on international space exploration and exploitation as the company continues to grow. We expect that more information on this project will be given in future press releases by Vista Aerospace. The spokesperson also thanked Apex Military Industries for their cooperation on this project. He said that this and other cooperations pave the way for a Baltusian economic surge and a leap in humanity's desire to expand its' boundaries.

"No to Foreign Conflicts": Baltusians Protest Over Government's Decision to Support Beiteynu

Welcome readers of Johnston Times,

A massive demonstration took place today in our city's downtown, where our brothers and sisters expressed their frustration over the government's choice to support Beiteynu . The protest, which started off peacefully but became more intense as more people showed up with flags and banners with messages like "No to Foreign Conflicts" and "Put Baltusia First." Baltusians demand the government reconsider its backing of Beiteynu and take a neutral stand in the dispute with Lourenne.

Dear readers, we managed to conduct an interview with Sarah Mitchell, one of the many demonstrators at today's protest
- Ms. Sarah Mitchell, we would like you to inform our readers about this massive protest that is currently taking place outside of Johnston's Town Hall.

- We think that the United States of Baltusia should prioritize its own interests and avoid getting involved in foreign disputes. These conflicts can lead to inner conflicts and divide our nation. It's time to rethink our foreign policy and focus on resolving issues here.

The nation is divided over the government's support of Beiteynu, with many wondering what the reasoning was. Critics believe that picking a side in the Beiteynu-Lourenne conflict may damage Baltusia's diplomatic ties and put the nation in danger of becoming involved in a larger conflict. There has been a rising frustration among Baltusians about the government's foreign policy programs, as seen by the numerous protests that have occurred around the nation over the past few weeks, including the one in Johnston. It remains to be seen if the current government will pay attention to the demands for an alternate approach as the discussion goes on.
