Foreign Minister Jorsett Addresses Celestia about Foreign Conflicts

"It has been far too long that no one of this great Celestian nation has spoken about things outside our conquests. While, indeed, our conquests must be spoken of and must be reiterated so that the entire consumation of Terra occurs, we must not forget that outside our borders, events happen that affect Celestians at home. The first situation I would like to address is Gaduridos. There has been much speculation over whether we should conquer the nation or claim it for Celestia. I will repeat for you what the Priest of Light has already declared. Gaduridos is no more and is now an annexed part of Celestia. The leadership of the former Gaduridos and the former Baltusia are now one and the same and forever at peace under the Celestian flag.

As for Pontesi, the leaders of the Ecumencial Council and the Cabinet are unsure of how to handle their renewed Imperialism. We believe that they have ideas of retaking Gaduridos and swiping it from Celestian hands, but we cannot be sure. Our ministers are working around the clock to ensure the spread of Celestialism throughout the world and to prevent the fall of conquered lands. I, myself, will soon be meeting with a Pontesi delegation to speak on this matter.

Beiteynu has earned its own position in the eyes of the Great Celestial King. They are vile and a disgrace to the world. Not even their God supports them now as they have fallen into self-idolatry and have become consumed with bureaucracy. The Great Celestial King is on our side against Beiteynu. We have already declared war on them and on any nation of the world who refuses to accept Celestialism as the way to righteousness. I will neither confirm nor deny that we are working in Beiteynu to ensure that our conquest there will be swift and sure. All that is to be known, however, is that the Jews are a heathen race who shall soon face the rath of the Great Celestial King.

Recently, we recieved word from Dolgaria announcing that they would condemn our actions and impose trade embargoes on us for our "undemocratic actions." We spit upon these condemnations and upon the people of Keris. When our world was born out of the Great Kabushika, they were the first to rebel against the Great Celestial King and have earned eternal slavery for themselves as a result of their sin. Our "undemocratic actions" are justice in reality. We would rather be called undemocratic then be declared unrighteous be our King.

As for the rise of Communism and Fascism in the far corners of the world, Celestia does not base itself off these foolish ideologies. We work toward a better future under the Great Celestial King. If either tries to bring their battles to our doorstep, let me warn them that they shall face the full wrath of our King and be punished. I would advise the Communists and the Fascists to steer clear of our path, for in the end, it shall be they who bow to us and not vice versa.

I conclude my speech with you with a word on Imperialism. These days, this word is tossed nastily about as if it is an unrepentable sin. Let me assure you, fellow Celestians, that our King advises that we use Imperialism to bring the inferior races under his bountiful goodness and mercy. Only when the world has been rid of evil and given over to the Great Celestial King shall the world see its reward. Have faith, my friends, we shall one day overcome all nations and rule this world in peace with the Great Celestial King."

Celestia rounds up Selucian "Traitors"; Sends Them to "Rehabilitation Camps" in Terrarokka

Today, the Celestian Government recieved an executive order from Priest of Light Aaron Mozul to immediately round up all Selucians and those born in Selucia to stand trial before the Ecumencial Council. The Council will decide whether or not the accused are, indeed, Selucians. If found guilty of being a Selucian, they shall be sent to rehabilitation camps in the city of Kolibri in the Terrarokka Celestial Parish. There, they shall be given re-education and helped to be transformed from the filfthy savages that they are to decent slaves of the Celestian society.

Many have expressed concerns over whether or not the Selucians will be tortured or otherwise unfairly hurt in these actions, but the government has reassured us that the Selucians will only get "what is necessary." Even the top Health and Human Services official in the Celestian Government states that the rounding up of the inferior Selucians will be "one of the most beneficial events for the overall health of the nation. Who knows what dangerous diseases the Selucians bring from other corners of the world? We should test our state-of-the-art vaccinations on them and see if we can find a cure to the Selucian problem." The Ministry of Internal Affairs has also asked the public to remain aware that the Selucian Problem and the Jewish Question are not the same thing and shall be dealt with in the Great Celestial King's will.

Celestian World Cup Team limps into Bracket Rounds

Celestian fans cheer as Celestia defeated Luthori 3-0

It has been a rough couple of months for the Celestian Football Federation, but recent news about the team's future in the Terran FIFA World Cup has given new hope do a down and out team. After going 1-2-1 in the qualifying rounds of the Republica, Endralon World Cup, fans knew that Celestia's fate was very much out of their hands and in the hands of the Great Celestial King. However, by divine providence, Celestia netted -1 goals in the preliminary rounds. This was enough to tie them with Keymon for 31st place in the Standings and putting them only behind Vanuku for teams finishing with 4 points (All other tied teams had -2 or fewer goals). After a coinflip for positioning, Celestia now finds itself as the 31st seed and in a difficult position against the 2nd seeded team from Dorvik. Priest of Light Aaron Mozul, who is also and avid sports fan, has told naysayers and the media not to worry. "As long as we continue our faith in the Great Celestial King, there will be no mountain to great for our football team. They say Dorvik is too difficult to beat, but turn your eyes to Republica, Endralon and we will show the world that nothing is too much for our King," said Mozul in his weekly address to the nation.

Celestia Suffers Coup, Pantia Re-Emerges

Today, the Ecumenical Council still had all the same members. The Priest of Light was still slated to be Aaron Mozul, and the Corrupt Dealings Party still had a majority in the Council. But today is radically different from yesterday. Yesterday, in a party coup, the Priest of Light and his loyal Celestian followers were arrested by the CDP paramilitary. The Leadership Council of the Corrupt Dealings Party and the Cabinet of Celestia immediately moved to swear in Dick Jorsett XI as the new Chairman of the Corrupt Dealings Party and de-facto leader of Celestia. Jorsett then ordered the execution of all priests of Celestialism except Mozul, who was to stand trial before the Celestian Court for heresy. All legislative members of the Corrupt Dealings Party were then held at gunpoint and forced to recant of the ways of Celestialism and swear undying loyalty to the Party Leadership. Priest of Light Aaron Mozul is currently being detained at the Celestia City maximum security prison.

Chairman Jorsett then addressed the nation about the coup and told the citizens of his new plans to rid the country of Celestialism. "The time for this sordid religion is done. Their god is not the true god, and his people are mere scoundrels and crooks. We will now work with the Baltusia Pantian Alliance to form a new coalition in the Council and create a new government - one that is loyal to her people."

This "new government" is already believed to be a reintatement of the old Fascist Pantian State. Insiders to the Corrupt Dealings Party have even heard discussion that Chairman Jorsett may force the party to disband and, therefore, hand all executive power to the Pantians. Moniseur Moi's Pants was unable to be reached for comments.

Partido Liberalismo Social is Victorious in its First Election



[Rootianville, September 3350] El Partido Liberalismo Social made its electoral debut this past election and absolutely dominated in the polls. Baltusia has been a one party state for more than a decade and when a new party formed the population flocked towards it and its new ideals. The PLS has been very active in the legislature and the hard work has payed off. In the Presidential Election Alfonso Vega took a stunning 89% of the vote. During his acceptance speech Vega said "We are very excited that the people have backed us so passionately, The Pantian Alliance ran a great campaign and it is clear that both parties love Baltusia, we will attempt to work with them to continue improving the lives of the average Baltusian, but if we cant then we will do it ourselves. The times of an isolationist Baltusia are over. Thank you!"

In the elections for La Senada The PLS took 4 out of the 5 Regions in the nation and garnered 82% of the seats. With an astounding 99% in 3 of the 5 regions. As we said before, the people have spoken. Now the PLS' goal will be to not let them down. Alfonso Vega will have alot on his plate. Lets see if he can clear it.

Update from Republica Baltusia




[Rootianville, July 3353] El Partido Liberalismo Social has been very active in its first term in its attempt to turn the ship that is Republica Baltusia. One of the first things Presidente Vega's administration did was to reach out to their neighbors. "We need to make significant positive progress in our relations with a couple nations around Terra. We need to pull ourselves out of the isolationist state that previous administrations have left us in." said Presidente Vega early in his term and he was quick to act on that. A formal treaty has been agreed upon with Egelion affirming their close relationship and cooperation. The Treaty has already been ratified in Egelion and has the votes to ratify in Baltusia. Talks have reportedly been going on with other nations as well for formalized relations. "We are always looking to talk with other nations, any leader who has a concern can come to us."

On the homefront, in La Asamblea Nacional The PLS has put forth and passed quite a number of bills, reforming the laws of the land. An Emphasis has been placed on removing government from the economy and giving more rights to the people. The long lived Baltusian Pantian Alliance has collapsed, but the void was quickly filled by a new party. Foro Civico de Batalusia is their name. They appear to be willing to work with the government and a cabinet is expected shortly that will incorporate both parties.

George Baker is elected for President of the V4C


George Baker has won the V4C leadership after narrowly beating current President of party and former President of Republic of Baltusia Guzman in a dramatic run-off vote ahead of the party's conference.
George won by just over 2% from now former President Guzman after second, third and fourth preference votes came into play.

He said a "new generation" had taken charge of V4C and it had to change.
Mr Baker (52), replaces acting leader Mr. Guzman (68) on regular party elections.


Mr. Guzman had a majority of support from V4C party members, but Baker was ahead among members of trade unions and affiliated organisations in V4C electoral college voting system.
Mr Baker hugged Guzman after the result was announced.

In his victory speech, he vowed to unify the party, telling delegates: "The V4C in the future must be a vehicle that doesn't just attract thousands of young people but tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of young people who see us as their voice in Baltusian politics today."

Today a new generation has taken charge of V4C, a new generation that understands the call of change.

Mr Baker received a standing ovation from delegates as he made his way from the hall, with Mr. Guzman.
Source close to new party leader told to BNA that President Pena has full support from his new party boss Baker.

It will be very interesting to see who will be the candidate of V4C in the next presidential election, Baker or current President Pena.

Pena sets up Council of Governors

ROOTIANVILLE, April. 16 -- President Xavier Pena on Friday established a panel of province governors to collaborate with Rootianville on a variety of potential emergencies, the Office of President said.

Pena signed an executive order establishing a panel to be known as the Council of Governors, which will be made up of 5 province governors. Members will review matters involving the National Defense; Civil rights, Investments, Education; and synchronization and integration of province and federal every day activities in the Baltusia, the Office of President said in a statement.

Prime Minister will also sit on the council, as a representative of the President but he will not have right to vote. Council will elect chairperson who will serve two-year terms.
First Chairman of Council of Governors will be Governor of Athosia Mr. John Tompson.
Members of Council are Governor Stjepan Benko, Governor Michael Halt, Governor Keisha Less, Governor Ann Bald and Prime Minister Miles White.

President Pena Challenges Governors to Invest in Education

Today, President Pena challenged province governors to make sure all students in their schools today get the education and skills they need to compete for the jobs of tomorrow.

A majority of provinces will spend less on elementary and secondary schools in 3397 than they did last year, and more than 3 provinces cut higher education spending in 3396 — cuts that lead to higher tuition prices in our public colleges and universities.

But when our economy is struggling, the last place to make cuts is in education. Making sure that every student in our country graduates from high school prepared for college and a successful career is central to rebuilding our economy and securing a brighter future. And when students go on to pursue higher education, we should make sure they are able to pay for it.

Nothing more clearly signals what you value as a province as the decisions you make about where to invest,” President Pena told governors. “Budgets are about choices, so today I’m calling on you to choose to invest more in teachers, invest more in education, and invest more in our children and their future.

Baltusian President Pena come in official visit to Dorvische Föderation

Baltusian Foreign Minister Jenae Klinger, Finance and Investment Minister Brad Liptak and President Pena come to official visit to the Dorvische Föderation to open a new embassy and branch office of Baltusian Chamber of Commerce there.

The new embassy will aim to the expand economic and cultural relationship with Dorvik. The embassy will also focus on improving tourism links between the two countries. It will employ 15 Baltusian diplomats and 45 local staff when it opens in March 3398, although this number could rise as relations between the two countries are strengthened.

The new embasssy and state visit come as Baltusia seeks to expand its' network of embassies abroad and strengthen ties with other nations.
The Baltusian delegation will be hosted by the Präsident der Dorvische Föderation Yaroslav Markovic.
