King Papangkorn Udomprecha has passed away at the age of 58. According to the Royal Palace the King collapsed inside of his bed chamber after suffering as stroke. The King leaves a legacy of goodwill, a good statesmen and someone who cared deeply about the people of Hanzen. Reports have stated that many believe that he was suffering through cancer however those are just rumors for now. He had spent his early reign being extremely active around the country but in recent years his public appearance had become less and less common. His daughter Saowatharn has become increasingly active in royal duties in her father's stead, especially after her schooling in Lourenne.

The Queen is taking the throne at a difficult time in Hanzen's history. Allies Beiteynu and Luthori seem to be leaving Hanzen under the pressure of the Indralan government. Lourenne recently has stepped in to ensure that Hanzen's sovereignty is maintained and preserved. Despite what is happening it is clear that tensions once again between Hanzen and their neighbors have deteriorated.

The Young Queen takes the throne at the age of 24 and is highly knowledgeable of world and domestic affairs. She has spent time in many of the world's powers including extensive time in Lourenne and Beiteynu, and being fluent in Kundrati, Canrillaise, Luthorian and of course the Phra language. During her time as crown princess she advocated for peace in Dovani and increased friendship with Hanzen and her allies.

It is rumored that the Queen will be visiting Lourenne in the coming weeks especially with the relationship between Hanzen and Lourenne growing stronger.

Hanzen Seeks International Assistance on Developing a New Hanzense Frigate as Luthori, Beiteynu leave

The Hanzense Navy has conducted a worldwide search for a company or country to build a modern frigate for the Hanzense Navy. With the recent exit of Beiteynu from Hanzen's coast it has left a desperate need of a modern navy. Lourenne has ensured that Hanzen is kept safe and secure but the Hanzenese Government has become increasingly concerned with the fact that Luthori and Beitenyu have left the country and Hanzen's need to be able to defend itself on the high seas.

It is expected that a deal with a foreign country will be reached in the coming days with reports estimating that 5 to 10 ships will be needed by the Hanzense Navy. The ships in question will need to have both anti surface ship and anti submarine warfare capabilities. The most likely countries at this time to provide ships would be Beiteynu, Kundrati and Lourenne.

Officials in Hanzen are confused by the actions of Beiteynu and Luthori but very happy with the decision made by the Lourenne Government in continuing support of the Hanzense state. Also it is rumored that the young Queen will be visiting Eroncourt in the coming days to meet with the Government of Lourenne and ensure that close and strong ties are continued between the two countries. Furthermore Hanzen has increasingly become annoyed with the Luthorian Government's decision to befriend Yingdala and leave Hanzen seeing this as a "slap in the face" to Hanzense friendship and Luthorian credibility in the region. In protest Hanzen has recalled their ambassador to Luthori.

The Queen of Hanzen Walking the Safe Streets of Eroncourt a City She Knows and Loves

Queen Saowatharn Makes First State Visit to Lourenne Strengthening Ties between Udon Nakhon and Econcourt

In a stunning development the Queen of Hanzen Saowatharn has come calling to the Government of Lourenne and made a state visit to Eroncourt. The visit marks the transition of Hanzen's focus from Beiteynu to Lourenne and is an important symbol of the trust between the young Queen and the country she knows all too well.

Saowatharn went to university in Eroncourt and spent her schooling years in the country, she knows fluent Canrillaise as a second language and has ties with not only aristocracy in Eroncourt but a rumored deep friendship with the Lourenne Royal Family. With the Hanzenese Government dealing with the harsh blow of Beiteynu and Luthori leaving it is clear sigh to the Queen that a visit to Lourenne is mandatory. She met with the Lourennais Government in private before heading to the Palace of Lights and spending time with the Lourennais royals including the reigning Emperor of Canrille Louis X and his family.

The Queen spent time visiting with the High Chancellor of Lourenne Maria Santiago-Ferrier and details of the talks are known. The Queen of Hanzen was extremely grateful to Lourenne for continuing to support them and stepping in when nations such as Beiteynu and Luthori seemingly were pushed out. She also elaborated on Hanzen's desire to increase both economic and military ties with Lourenne and the nations of the Western Dovani Union however membership is currently off the table due to disunity inside of Hanzen's cabinet.

After this she toured the campus of the Royal Academy and visited the sites and sounds of Eroncourt before spending a few days at the Udomprecha Royal Family's official estate in the suburbs of Lourenne. This visit was made very public and very noticeable. The Queen has made sure to keep a low profile but everything about this visit sends a statement not only to the people of Hanzen but to Yingdala and the other countries caught up in the recent debacle. Hanzen has found a country they can put their trust in and the Queen will make sure that all the nations of Terra know it and know it well.
