January, 5394 | Bature proclaims "Statrican Ahmadi Democratic Republic", installed as President

Bukoha (Breznica) - Lieutenant General Nasir Bature has announced the formation of the the Statrican Ahmadi Democratic Republic (SADR) and an interim Supreme Revolutionary Council to act as a de facto cabinet. The announcement came as Bature declared himself "President of the Statrican Ahmadi Democratic Republic" and appointed long-time ally and fellow Supreme Revolutionary Council member, Sidi Gassama the Deputy General-Secretary of the Ahmadi Revolutionary Association as the new Prime Minister of the Statrican Ahmadi Democratic Republic. President Bature promised that his interim government would restore order across Statrica and deal with the issues that plagued the previous government. Bature announced that November 1, 5392 would be the new "Revolution Day" in Statrica.

Bature and his ad hoc group began attacking the outskirts of the capital, which was defended by forces loyal to the regime of Prime Minister Kahiri and the People's Republican Front in mid-March 5392 and were unable to dislodge the defenders until early September, 5392, allowing him into the inner sections of the capital. The Siege of Bukoha caused a massive humanitarian crisis in the capital, the nations largest city, that Bature utilized as a means to capture other parts of the country. Bature and the leadership of the Ahmadi Revolutionary Association and his counter-parts in the Socialist Party were able to setup refugee camps and from there recruited thousands of Statrican men into their service, eventually they were able to garner support from Ndelo tribes in the north with the promises of greater autonomy should they provide material and personnel support to Bature's regime. The same came from the religious militias in the Batokelaw, a group primarily residing in the southeast of the country that once made up the religious caste in the Asli Sultanate, these groups allegedly funded by Bazgaristan and their increased support for pro-Ahmadi movements, Bature promised them greater autonomy should they support his regime.

Bature announced this following the announcement that the 1st Armored Regiment (Canrillaise: 1er Régiment Blindé) and additional units and militias had reached the government district of Bukoha and had captured several vital government locations, this includes the Central Bank of Statrica, the Ministry of Finance and Taxation, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Communication. The capture of these locations provided Bature's ad hoc regime with the ability to control the finances, defense and communication infrastructure of the country. The total capture at the end of June, 5293 prompted the surrender of many forces loyal to the former regime and the capture of former Prime Minister Kahiri who was located at the residence of the Prime Minister in the capital.

The Bature regime was not secure however, the former Minister of National Defense Oluwadurotimi Tejumola, a prominent Orun Chieftian, and a spiritual leader of the Hosian's in Statrica pushed for an insurgency in the western part of the country, bolstered by the nations former ruling minority, the Skitian (OOC: Czech), who have aligned themselves with the Orun's who are largely in the western part of the country. Tejumola announced that they would begin an insurgency against the government should Bature not cede to their demands, Tejumola's demands were unanswered by the Bature government and in January, 5394 Tejumola announced they would begin their insurgency.

April, 5398 | Bature announces formation of the new National Assembly.

Bukoha (Breznica) President Nasir Bature has announce the formation of the first National Assembly which will provide the basis for the legislative branch of the new Statrican Ahmadi Democratic Republic. President Bature announced that he wanted to recognize the variety of Asli ethnic groups in Statrica and awarded 25 seats per "major" ethnic group in Statrica. 25 seats were awarded to the Huhoa (OOC: Hausa), Ndelo (OOC: Lingala), the Bato (OOC: Ewe), the Orun (OOC: Yoruba) and Fasokan (OOC: Bambara) peoples and the internal composition would be worked out among themselves as President Bature announced the formation of "ethnic committees" which would fall underneath the oversight of Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. Outside of the 125 seats provided for ethnic recognition, there would be another 400 seats provided for single-member constituencies similar to those operates in Canrillaise states.

The Ministry of Justice and Administration which oversees the National Election's Commission announced the composition of the first National Assembly as follows:

Ahmadi Revolutionary Association (Left-wing, Ahmadi democracy, socialism)
Socialist Party (Left-wing, socialism)
Rally for Statrica (Center-right, big-tent, opposition)
Radical Party (Right-wing, Skitian nationalism, regionalism)
People's Republican Front (Center-right, republicanism, statism)

Despite calls by President Bature for the outlawing of opposition parties and factions, Bature's position is too weak to enforce such a ban and following a series of meetings with the President and opposition leaders they agreed to sign an "agreement" on cooperation with the ruling Ahmadi Revolutionary Association and Socialist Party; who make up the current ruling coalition. The National Assembly further voted to recognize Canrillaise (OOC: French) and Standard Dovani Majatran (OOC: African Arab, but for purposes of translation regular Arabic) as national languages alongside recognizing Huhoa, Ndelo, Bato, Orun and Fasokan as national languages.

Mamoudou Diawara adressing the nation after couping the government

Constitution of Stratica suspended alongside forced resignation of the entire government as reformist comandos orchastrate a coup: Pro Democracy putshists? How weird

Bukoha (Breznica), Stratica. Unexpected news have came out from Stratica as the capital Bukoha has experienced an armed takeover by reformists comandos known as the "Swift Action Force" who quickly took control of all government buildings including the house of the president before he was eventually arrested. The coup was led by Mamoudou Diawara, who addressed the nation in a televised from the headquarters of Stratica News Broadcasting Services in which he stated,
Dear daughters and sons of Stratica,

I have not come here to talk to you as the person that just took down the government and arrested the corrupt president, but I am here as the newly appointed interim head of state that will lead our glorious nation to a peaceful democratic future in which all races within our blessed lands will live in harmony. But first, we must root out the cancer that has plagued our society and politics by making us among the world's most unstable and authoritarian country. Furthermore, our catastrophic economic situation that has only served to fill the pockets of the rich and powerful while leaving the common man starving as our so called leaders masqueraded as protectors of the proletariat but only protected their own selfish intrests. We mustn't also forget the ongoing divide between Skitatis and Straticans as the previous administration annihilated the autonomy of local governments and as such completely abolishing every ethnicities right to their own fairly elected governments but said rights were taken away by the so called "Ministry of Justice and Administration" which effectively made us an even more autocratic country by giving more powers to the president. Finally, due to the reasons I have cited, me and my fellow comrades of the SAF decided it was more than necessary to end this madness once and for all and to make Stratica glorious again under the guinding hand of its people, we also annouce that the constitution of the Stratican Democratic Ahmadist Republic and the immediate resignation of the current incubing government alongside the appointment of an provisional transitional authority controlled by both military and civilian assests in order to make Stratica glorious again.

Following the announcement, thousands of pro putchist demonstrators took it to the street to show their support to the newly installed junta and their promises of democracy, freedom, and federalism as the new government is set to radically change Stratica for the better.

Pro putshists celebrating the appointment of Abdel Tambadou

Civilian-led transitional government appointed by Abdel Tambadou, New premier promises free and fair elections in the upcoming 3 years, purges within the military start: Progress but at what cost

Bukoha, Stratica. Amazing news has emerged from Strarica as a civilian-led government was inaugurated today infront of the National Assembly to help ensure a peaceful transition of power and democratization of the nation alongside negotiations concerning the federalization of the country and dissolution of the current existing political parties suspected of corruption. Abdel Tambadou, a university professor at the Bukoha University of Political Science and a trusted ally of Mamoudou Diawara even before the orchastrated coup that rooted out the old administration, the newly appointed premier was tasked by Mamoudou to appoint a transitional civilian led government with the collaboration of the SAF in order to start the planning of elections and reforms to federalize the country. Abdel shorty after revealed the new government, which consisted of an equal ratio of men and women alongside ministres from every ethnic group located within Stratica, this decision has made them gain the support of the Radical Party, a skitian regionalist party that has long pushed for the federalization of the nation alongside more rights being granted to them while the Rally for Stratica also came forward by openly declaring their support to the new government and plans for Stratica. On the other hand, tbe Ahmadi Revolutionary Association and Socialist Party stated their disappointment while the People's Republican Front expressed their opposition to the new government as Abdel Tambadou announced in a press conference that all current parties that were recognized by the previous government will be investigated for potential corruption charges and may be forcefully dismantled if it's revealed that there is in fact major corruption within the parties. As the new government slowly leads Stratica and its people to democracy, Mamoudou and his military allies have started purging the military from anti-SAF elements that are still loyal to the old government, the purges started with the sacking and arrest of major military commanders and generals that were then replaced by younger and more reformist minded ones alongside being imprisoned to face trial for corruption charges while the SAF is cementing its control over rhe country and its armed forces, only time will tell if Stratica will truly democratize or all once again to the grips of authoritarianism.

the newly appointed members of the STFA

First meeting of the STFA amidst dissolution of major political parties following implementation of the "Fair and Square Stratica": Dawn of freedom?

Bukoha, Stratica. As the civilian government controlled by Abdel Tambadou continues to plan the inevitable federalization of the nation with the slow abolition of all Unitary institutions, it seems the time has come for the start of serious talks between the representatives of ethnic and religious groups in Stratica in order to pave the way for a peaceful transition of power. The Stratican Transitional Federal Agency has been formed with its goal being the federalization of the nation as the premier has also granted the agency special executive and legislative powers that will allow it successfully complete its task, but shortly after the announcement of its establishment, the agency declared the forceful dissolution of all political parties registered at the Ministry of Justice under the pretext of the enactment of the "Fair and Square Stratica" law that was passed at the same time of the establishment of the agency in a law package known as "Reborn and Free Stratica" that also included the final abolition of all ethnic seats within parliament and dismantling of multiple programs that gave politicians hefty salaries. The cause for the dissolution of all said parties was their violation of the FSS law, which states,
1) No lawfully recognized party shall be established on religious, ethnic, cultural, and racial basis
2) If any party, no matter its size, violates this law, they shall be forcefully dissolved, and their leadership granted a "second chance"
3) If said dissolved parties leadership attempts for a second time establish a copy of the previously dissolved psrty while still violating article 1 of the law, they shall be arrested and will face trial on charges of violating the law with a minimum sentence of 2 years
4) Political parties advocating for their regional native states shall be allowed to exist as long as plans for scession aren't made.

Public outcry was made from both the Radical Party and Ahmadi Revolutionary Association calling the law an attack against their rights but their cries fell to deaf ears as their headquarters were apprehended by police forces who also forced them to sign contracts officializing the dissolution of their parties, same happened with the remaining parties as the Ministry of Justice is undergoing a massive revamp of its systems with the Supreme Court now being in the potential next target of the reforms.

Abdel Tambadou announcing the resignation of the Supreme Court and a shift in Stratica's diplomatic strategy

Supreme Court sacked as the premier announces a radical shift in Stratica diplomatic strategy known as "United we stand, divided we fall": Dawn of pan-dovanism?

Bukoha, Stratica. Early in the morning, Abdel Tambadou announced the sacking of all the Supreme Judges within the Stratican Supreme Court in favor of an independent transitional Supreme Judiciary authority composed of university teachers and experts in the field of law. The news came after the government adopted the More Independent and Transparent Judiciary Executive Order which effectively broke all government control over the Judiciary branch of power by creating the Stratican People's Supreme Independent Magistrat, an independent branch of power that will effectively serve as a temporary replacement for the Supreme Court as constitional matters have been handed over to the newly established Constitution Council and administrative affairs handed over to the newly born State's Council, both courts will serve as counterweights to the old Supreme civilian court by weakening it and stripping it away from its right on constitutional matters as all rullings made by the court will not be considered as a way to define laws and amendments as that matter will be taken of by the SPSIM. Tambadou also announced a radical shift in the diplomatic strategy of the country as he made official the adoption of the "United we stand, divided we fall" policy concerning the Dovanian continent, the premier outlined the government's commitment to inter-dovanian cooperation to ensure a sovereign and free Dovani, he stated, "Dovani has been under the shackles of foreign powers for way too long as major nations just see us as their prey in a game of hunt, it is time to turn Dovani from the prey to the predator in order to let the world know from the Artic shores of Northern Dovani to the lush forests of Yingdala that we are no more the victime" he has also renewed his administration full trust to the current acting president Mamoudou Diawara in his plans to revive Stratica from its ashes alongside calling for a diplomatic and economic cooperation between all of Lourenne, Utembo, and New Verham to a region he describes as the "Golden Trio" especially with the recent adoption of the REPAIR Act in Lourenne, the Stratican government and its diplomatic body are set to submit their case for reparations due to Lourenne old colonial history in Stratica.

Katarina Zoretić The new face of the Skitian reformist movement

Elections expected to be held this year as dozens of parties are registered, Abdel announces his bid to the presidency and chooses Katarina as co-president: end of ethnic nationalism?

Bukoha, Stratica. With the civilian-led government finally finishing up all of the policies and orders to federalize Stratica to its fullest with the adoption of a joint presidency system shared between Skitians and Straticans. The system works the same way as a double monarchy but now in a republican stylized one (OOC: I heavily took inspirations from Bosnia's presidential join authority system) with the postion of Premier rotating every 6 month as both presidents will be elected in a general election that will include all the ethnicities currently present in Stratica. The move was seen by many as a direct attack against skitian nationalist parties as the government not only banned all ethnic nationalist parties to be formed it has also now crippled all ideas of a skitian state forming with the presidency now being shared between straticans and skitians. The move also came following the rise in popularity of Katarina Zoretić, a skitian activist that campaigned for the end of ethnic animosity of Skitians to Straticans by running on a program of social reforms and reminding of the reason skitians are in Stratica in the first place is because of colonization, she has also th creation of the Liberal Civic Reformist Union, a big tent centrist party which solely focuses on ensuring peaceful coexistence in Stratica as well as encouraging the rise of a Skitian-Stratican culture while shattering the idea that skitians are some sort of touch beared for Artanian culture in Dovani, an idea publicly denounced by both Katarina and Abdel following a comment made by the leader of the former Radical Party that was then arrested for hate speech. After that, both Katarina Zoretić and Abdel Tambadou announced that they will run together for the presidency as they hope to finally reshape Stratican politics by showing that constant bickering between both ethnicities can be overcome by a joint hope for freedom.

Abdel Tambadou during his inauguration

Katarina and Abdel declare their unconditional support to the potential alliance proposal from New Verham, democracy officially restored in Stratica: Peace and Bread?

Bukoha, Stratica. Wonderful news have came to our ear as the Stratican Ahmadi Democratic People's Republic has been officially abolished in favor of the People's Free Stratican Confederation with the landslide victory of both Abdel Tambadou and Katarina Zoretić in their joint bid for the position of co-presidents, the previously newly created head of state position that was proposed by the STFA and approved by Mamoudou Diwa the former junta leader that took down the previous autocratic regime on claims of social, economic and political improvements for the Stratican nation alongside calls for ethnic and religious harmony. The newly inaugurated presidents wasted no time in beginning the groundwork for the creation of an alliance tieing all of New Verham, Stratica, and Utembo also known as Xampa, Katarina called the potential as the Golden Trio Concord and Abdel called it the Golden Trio Pact, both presidents outlined their unconditional support for the creation of such alliance especially following negotiations between Stratican and New Verhamelen diplomats concerning restoring relations between the two neighboring nations. In addition, they have stated that Utembo would make for "a great and reliable partner concerning the defense of worker's rights as both Stratica and Utembo remain deeply socialist countries even tho the former has effectively toppled the old autocratic regime and restored democracy across the nation. Now with the country back under the helm of democracy and federalism, a system long forgotten due to outside factors such as colonialism and internal ones such as greed and corruption, the new co-presidents have both ratified the new Stratican constitution alongside proclaiming the start of the "Stratican Renaissance" which will be followed by a package of bills liberalizing education, entertainment, arts, press, and civil liberties which would in term lead to the start of a Stratican golden age under the guidance of Abdel and Katarina coupled with Stratica revival of its involvement in Dovanian affairs.

Katarina after announcing a bundle of economic plans and reforms

Plans to create the "Golden Trio Car" announced amidst plans to boost economic development and pan dovanian sentiment: Dawn of Pan dovanism?

Bukoha, Stratica. With the recent public statements coming from all three countries composing the "Golden Trio" about their fervent support to the creation of a potential political, economic, and even military alliance between all of Stratica, Utembo, and New Verham. The Co-President Katarina has announced that plans for the creation of cheap yet good quality car line known as the Golden Trio Car have been officially started with the main goal of the future car to boost economic out put in all three countries especially in both Stratica and Utembo alongside helping garner even more popular support to the future alliance by using the car line as somewhat of a propaganda tool (OOC: Dont ask questions im being skizo and copying Yugoslavia rn). A car line wasn't the only thing announced by Katarina as she also stated that major agrarian and industrial development plans will start soon with the most important one in Bukoha with plans for the construction of a highway known as rhe Stratican Golden Trio highway, its name was given because the stratican governments aims at making it a joint project between all golden trio members. In addition, the Stratican Renaissance Act passed unanimously through the Stratican Confederated Congress with all parties voting yes to it, but it seems that the Free and Fair Stratica Act did it job properly as no ethnic focused party managed to get a seat especially Skati ones since the forceful dissolution of the Radical Party and rise of reformist movements with the most notable one being led by Katarina herself. Furthermore, the office of the Co-Presidents have released a statement in which they declared that Abdel will focus on Stratican internal affairs while Katarina will focus on international and economic affairs which which explains her current dominance of Stratican diplomatic actions.
