Cise - Yukawa Mototsune, the political front-runner of the Golden Dawn, has been named Prime Minister following the resignation of scandal-clad former Prime Minister Taman Boltokhov who some claim will be arrested soon by the police. Yukawa has promised massive reforms and Boltokhov's former party, the Liberal Democratic Party has found itself in a place of minority after years of domination in the realm of politics. The rise of the People's Democratic Party, a party made up of largely Terran Patriarchal and Ahadmist ethnic Kepo's from south-eastern Utari Mosir has given competition to the LDP in recent months. Abdulaziz Zokirjanov, leader of the PDP has been seen at meetings with the new Prime Minister in the past several weeks and debate remains if the PDP will overtake the Liberal Democratic Party in the September, 5167 elections. Yukawa's Golden Dawn remains the top party in the Legislative Council and the Speaker of the Legislative Council Arashiro Matsuyo has hoped that the Golden Dawn can continue its relationship with other parties and remain in government.

Yukawa's appointment on July 7th was met with protests and rallies across the country, notably in the majority Kepo areas of the country where some see ethnic conflict as a means to stoke support for their respective peoples. Utari Mosir and wider Mosriak society has often been a hot-bed of tensions for ethnic conflict. For several centuries the ethnic Hulstrian dominated the military and government, notably in a means to keep control over the country but in recent years many of the native groups of Utari Mosir have risen, most notably after the Ostlandic invasion in which the Kepo people became equal partners in government and status within the country. Kepo nationalism have given rise to a number of other notable movements, especially in related Kepo ethnic groups. For instance, several years ago there was a major push in the far east of the country to recognize the ethnic Kepo groups that largely subscribe to the Terran Patriarchal Church and Ahmadi religions that seeped in through the southern border with Mina. This prompted the formation of the People's Democratic Party, a big-tent party that brings together TPC and Ahmadi followers but remains an uneasy alliance.

Yukawa's cabinet remains largely Utari, with some Kepo's involved from fringes of the LDP.

State Economic Council provides low-interest loan to Emori

Emori, Emoirt City Prefecture - Emori, the site of a major industrial effort of the Utari Mosir government, has received a low-interest grant from the State Economic Council following the urging of its Mayor, Hanazawa Yoshiki. Komatsu Yasu (F, Golden Dawn), the Chairwoman of the State Economic Council was on the ground in Emori after Mayor Hanazawa pleaded with the central government to continue development on the city. Emori emerged as an economic center following the governments efforts in December 4859 and continued its rapid industrialization and development on the banks of the Sea of Carina to the south. Emori joined Cise, Horokeu-kotan and Kisevsk as major economic centers throughout the country and the city has continually survived as an economic center whose citizens have enjoyed relatively high standards of living and government services. Utari Mosir has relied heavily on the city as a means to produce finalized products from its reliance on raw materials, unlike Kisevsk in the far east of the country which has become a sort of "financial" center, Emori is heavily invested in manufacturing and production of raw materials into finalized products.

While the State Economic Council has been directed by the new Prime Minister to continue its development of industrial centers, the government faces new problems as protests have broken out in regards to Minister of Economics and Commerce Nagano Naofumi (Social Democratic Party) push to reduce benefits across the country. Minister Nagano has pushed to slash benefits for most Mosriaks but increase benefits for retired Mosriaks and those who are disabled or elderly; a move support by the Social Democratic Party in the Legislative Council as well. Prime Minister Yukawa has offered veiled support for the measure but stated that it must not hurt everyday Mosriak's who are struggling; he has promised the development of increased trade with neighbors, notably North Dovani who has prospered in recent years and offered his hand to the Dovani Pact which could assist in the development of new trade networks. Minister of Foreign Affairs Iwayama Togai (Social Democratic Party) has announced that the major border crossing with Ostland, Nakashibetsu, has re-opened and the Ministry of the Interior and Ministry of Economics and Commerce have expanded their facilities there in addition to development of new facilities to support increased trade.

In a somewhat unreported move, the State Economic Council in conjunction with the Ministry of Economics and Commerce has raised global tariffs by 1.3% on all trade coming into Utari Mosir to ensure that the Mosriak people are pushed to by local products versus imported; as of now there hasn't been much controversy surrounding the topic but it has started to make rounds on local social media and border news areas.

Utari Mosir to join the Dovani Council

Cise - Foreign Affairs Minister Iwayama Togai (Social Democratic Party) announced that Utari Mosir would be joining the Dovani Council as a means to promote open discussion on the state of democracy and human rights within the continent of Dovani. Togai, a noted Pan-Dovanist, has shown his hostility towards the Dovani Pact through his open appointment of opponents of the Dovani Pact as representatives to the organization. While Togai is unlikely to find support in abandoning the Dovani Pact, he has made it clear through his intermediaries that the Dovani Pact has not been favorable towards the Mosriak people and has often come into direct conflict with Utari Mosir as a whole. Togai announced that the Permanent Representative to the Dovani Council would be named "soon" and would serve as an emissary in an attempt to develop relationships with fellow Dovani states.

Prefect Jorayev backs Trigunian claims; Prime Minister Fujikawa threatens to remove him

Kisevsk, Krasnolym - Prefect of the Krasnolym Prefecture, Khudayberdi Jorayev, the southern most prefecture of Utari Mosir, joined in the condemnation of the recent Utari Mosir elections. Jorayev cited them as "...fraught with irregularities." and backed the recent Trigunian report that the elections were ripe with electoral fraud. The press conference was immediately condemned by Prime Minister Fujikawa Masashige (Social Democratic Party) as "...false reporting and has no basis in facts." The Prime Minister stated that should the Prefect continue to espouse such views he would approach the Legislative Council about removing the Prefect; something the Prefect responded on Together! the Trigunian-based social media platform that is popular in eastern Utari Mosir where the Kepo population is considered, or considers themselves, as ethnically related to the Rodshyan's. The Prime Minister threatening to remove the Prefect would be a first and requires nearly 2/3 of support from the Legislative Council to remove a Prefect and has never been used once, at least no in its intended way, to remove a democratically elected Prefect from their seat.

Jorayev to stand for leadership of Utari Mosir, PDP and LDP push for more federal structure

Kisevsk, Krasnolym - Mosriak's will go to the polls in early January, 5200 shortly after the New Year celebrations following an amendment to the State Elections Law by the Legislative Council to move the elections to January from July. The January, 5200 general elections will be hotly contested as the division between the Kepi-dominated East of the country competes against the more cosmopolitan and less politically fractured West. The People's Democratic Party has continued to dominate eastern Utari Mosir and in recent months the Kepo-majority Liberal Democratic Party has seen a surge in the polls conducted by Mosriak Today. It is likely that any success in the Legislative Council for the Kepo majority parties will see a coalition government where the PDP or the LDP take over the Office of the Prime Minister. Prefect of the Krasnolym Prefecture, Khudayberdi Jorayev, who made headlines for his unwavering support of Trigunia allegations about massive electoral fraud in the North Dovani elections in February, 5193, was elected as the new leader of the People's Democratic Party and has promised to "...protect all minorities within Utari Mosir." In a recent policy announcement the PDP and LDP both shared support for a more federal or potentially confederation structure for Utari Mosir. This is done as a means to enhance local controls and enhance cooperation according to the policy statement put out by the PDP and the LDP.

BREAKING: PDP and LDP win majority in Legislative Council

Cise - Following a hotly contested election night the National Elections Council has certified the election results for the January, 5200 general elections. In a shock, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and People's Democratic Party (PDP) coalition has captured a near super majority within the Legislative Council (166 seats required for a super majority). The People's Democratic Party and Liberal Democratic Party coalition captured 120 seats in total, the "Rally for Utari Mosir", the bloc containing Golden Dawn and the Social Democratic Party won 100 seats. 250 seats in the Legislative Council were eligible for election and the results are as follows:

It appears that Prefect of Krasnolym and leader of the People's Democratic Party Khudayberdi Jorayev will become the next Prime Minister of Utari Mosir. Following the certification of elections both the Golden Dawn and Social Democratic Party issued statements condemning the election as "...fraudulent and riddled with irregularities." Outgoing Social Democratic Party Prime Minister Miyazato Sugimoto cited reports to the Utari Mosir National Police about intimidation and threats of violence against those with ties to parties outside of the People's Democratic Party and the Liberal Democratic Party in the eastern portion of the country. Prefect of the Krasnolym Prefecture and PDP leader, Khudayberdi Jorayev, dismissed the claims as false. "The National Election Council would not certify these elections if such egregious claims were truthful."

The PDP and the LDP are likely to form a government in the coming weeks and a rumors are abound that the often right-wing, sometimes far-right Haukist People's Party could find themselves in the cabinet themselves.

Cise - Prime Minister of Utari Mosir Khudayberdi Jorayev announced the formation of his new government. In somewhat of a shock the Hulstrian majority People's Party (Hulstrian: Volkspartei) is to provide confidence and supply to the People's Democratic Party-Liberal Democratic Party cabinet with an unknown agreements in place.

Communist Party of Utari Mosir and Utari Communist Party form "National Front" for January, 5210

In the wake of the recent contentious January, 5200 election in Utari Mosir there have been a number of political developments. In a rare show of unity between the two Utari sub-groups, a new political alliance has been announced. The Communist Party of Utari Mosir (CPUM) which was formed several years prior and is largely found in the eastern part of Utari Mosir with a Kepo majority, and the Utari Communist Party (UCP) in the west with a Kunihito Utari majority. The new political alliance entitled as the "National Front" will compete in its first elections in January, 5210 when the next general elections are set to be held for the Legislative Council. General Secretary of the Communist Party of Utari Mosir, Toshmat Bekmirzayev, who is in his first term as General Secretary has called for "Permanent Revolution" in Utari Mosir and stated that should peaceful measures not work, the National Front will do "...what is necessary." The Communist Party of Utari Mosir is the successor to the Utari Mosir Patriotic Party which was banned nearly a decade ago for its efforts in anti-government behavior. The announcement was met with criticism from both the opposition parties and the new government of the People's Democratic Party and the Liberal Democratic Party. Prime Minister Khudayberdi Jorayev stated that the new "National Front" would seek to exploit the economic conditions of Utari Mosir and play on the fears of lower class Mosriak's.

The new leader of the Social Democratic Party Miura Tamuramaro, the most prominent left-wing political party in Utari Mosir, has condemned the recent formation and has stated that several members of the Social Democratic Party had left and joined the reformed Utari Communist Party. "We condemn the formation of the Utari Communist Party and the party developing in the east, the Communist Party of Utari Mosir. These parties have a dangerous precedent in Utari Mosir and we feel that they will threaten our already fragile democratic process."
