Energy Ministry to Assist Valruzian Nuclear Program March 5325
In a bid to deepen the budding economic and diplomatic relations between the Kitembo Union and the Federated Republics of Valruzia, a joint press conference held by the Foreign and Energy Ministries announced the government's intention to assist the North Seleyan nation's move to greenify its energy sector through a nuclear alternative
The assistance will take the form of the Union, long maintaining nuclear and other green energy sources as the majority of the country's energy production, dispatching several dozen experts and officials from the Energy Ministry to Valruzia to bolster the program's human capital with their years of experience and deep expertise in the field. Additionally, a handful of professors and university students studying in the field of nuclear energy will also be included in the programs so as to give the Kitembo students real-world experience in their future career fields as well as a taste of intercultural exchange with nations outside of Dovani. The experts and students will fulfill a variety of roles within the program, from assisting top-level planning of the project, designing the facilities and layout of proposed nuclear reactors, overseeing on the ground construction of facilities, and training reactor workers once the project is concluded several years from now. In terms of the bill for these experts, the Union will continue to pay salaries for Energy Ministry workers (including bonuses for their volunteering) and provide stipends for the departing professors and students, as well as covering the cost of travel. Meanwhile, Valruzia will be responsible for allocating adequate housing accommodation for all Kitembo experts and will provide Valruzian-language instruction for the Kitembos.
In addition to experts, the KU will also share schematics for a few of the oldest Kitembo nuclear reactors and the layouts for the plants as well as a deluge of nuclear energy research conducted by the Energy Ministry or by third parties contracted by the Ministry. Kitembo assistance, however, seems to be limited to the intellectual sphere and no substantial financial investment will join the experts on their trip to Valruzia, given the government's growing focus on domestic economic recovery and combating the drug epidemic in southern Kurageri.
