While the Emperor is merely a symbol for our people he has the important job of setting an example and of guiding our nation spiritually. By appealing directly to the Emperor we will hope he shall continue his path of environmental responsibility and will carry on this message to the people. The Emperor is of utmost importance to the stability and succes of our nation an therefor this action was necessary
With the massive indralan economy we have managed to deliver the best quality of life to our citizens and create a humane environment where everyone is accepted and cared for. It is our duty, as one of the most prosporous nations on Terra, to take an active stance on global affairs and transfer the world to a new Era of compassion and peace. By cooperating with the nations in question and doing everything we can to prevent armed conflict and find dialogue we believe we can make a change in this world. Therefor i hereby introduce the new foreign policy of cooperative interventionism
As someone with knowledge of the current naval expansion program knows we contacted almost every Indralan company of significance during the contracting process for this project. The list of indralan companies now joining the JACDP is lengthy and we have done the best we can to give all interested parties a fair chance. I heard about the allegations made about us presumably being sold out to kazulian companies. Our government made a clear decision to include one of the most experienced ship building companies in the world to assist in creating this immense project. Indrala and most indralan companies has/have no prior experience in building anything like this let alone designing it. It is our duty to the sailors that shall embark on the new ship that it is of the best quality in both design and construction. We are confident that the companies signed up for the program will deliver a state of the art ship that will sail the seas in a safe and orderly manner. It is only natural for some to call us agressive, but indrala has never and will never be an agressor. The intention of this government is to maintain a strong navy with the most modern equipment simply because that is what is needed to protect Indrala and its people in this evergrowing world. The time of us relying on alliances and foreign nations to protect us is over. And i am saddened that some parties in our country are stuck in their old ways
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
“Indralan Labour Community, Companies Ignored by the Ministry of Defence”
Tian’an, August 13th, 4491: Despite claiming to have contacted “almost every Indralan company of significance during the contracting process” for the Joint Aircraft Carrier Development Program, or JACDP, the Minister of Defence has ignored a large number of stakeholders. These companies include:
* Xiandai Group, the IAF’s primary supplier and primary producer of the recently developed Jianlong the Great-missile destroyer;
* Zhijia, the Hartvig Prize-winning high-tech industry leader which has supplied unmanned drones and other military supplies to the IAF;
* Kyuma Industries, a major supplier to the IAF;
* Lanshui Shipyard, the government-owned shipyard responsible for the construction of the recently developed Jianlong the Great-missile destroyer and all other ships for the Imperial Indralan Navy until this point;
* Tiankong Group, one of Indrala’s largest shipbuilders, aircraft manufacturers, and floating civilian structure providers
* TQ Group, one of Indrala’s largest shipbuilders, contributor to the Jianlong the Great-missile destroyer project
Instead, the Minister of Defence has chosen to sign contracts with foreign firms which have no history of supplying the Imperial Armed Forces. In so doing, the Minister of Defence is sending billions in capital and jobs overseas, while telling Indralan workers that they aren't good enough. The General Labour Federation, Indrala's largest labour union, strongly protests these policy decisions. The aforementioned corporations join Indrala's labour community in protesting and denouncing the JACDP and call for a truly open and transparent consultation process, as has been the standard for the IAFI Program.
Signed,
Wang Luhan, CEO and Chairwoman of the Xiandai Group
Lau Yi, CEO of Zhijia
Hsu Bao, CEO of Kyuma Industries
Li Zhongchu, Chairman of Lanshui Shipyard
Ren Guanting, CEO of Tiankong Group
Tang Jiali, CEO and Chairwoman of TQ Group
Fusao Nakagawa, President of the General Labour Federation
