Uranium Exports Slow as Tian'an Makes Nuclear Energy Push

While Yingdala has sought to introduce more clean energy into its energy mix, it has had a bumpy history. Solar has caught on, especially in rural areas, but has not played much of a role in urban areas. Where it has, energy costs have risen due to material imports. Given the country's natural supply of almost unlimited uranium, the Office of the Grand Astrologer issued a policy to move the country to 100% nuclear energy over the next two decades - where other clean sources of energy don't already exist.

The Grand Astrologer's office plans to do this by supporting all aspects of the nuclear energy supply chain - from education to distribution of energy. Low interest loans and grants will be made available to any entity along the supply chain - from the uranium mining companies, to mining equipment manufacturers, to construction firms, and to the power plants themselves. Designs and protocols for Yingdala's previously decommissioned plants will be made available to all - both an attempt to speed up the process of development, as well as to spur competition.

Innovation will be essential, according to the Grand Astrologer. Construction quality and safety will be paramount, as will sustainable mining and environment practices. Scientists and engineers should look to maximize efficiency of energy production, double efforts in fusion research and testing, while developing new uses for reactors, such as small modular reactors.

However, as a result, Yingdala's global uranium exports will slow as the domestic market heats up. Although exporters will still generate revenues domestically, their international clients may begin looking elsewhere should demand increase. Perhaps, given rumors coming out of Majatra, this isn't such a bad thing to avoid supporting potential nuclear proliferation efforts.

Critics are contending the nuclear push could be fatal - as accidents would be costly and could harm tens of thousands. Mindful of these critiques, the government has pledged nuclear power plants will not be built along the coast and will be strategically placed away from active volcanoes.

The goal will be worth it: nearly limitless clean energy using domestic sources. Costs will fall for consumers. Energy security will be increased. The environment will benefit.

When Heaven provides a way, one should follow it.

Son of Heaven Visits Tukarali Cementing Historic Renewal of Ties

His Imperial Majesty the Son of Heaven, Wu Fangxun, led a Yingdalan delegation to Tukarali to celebrate their Fraternity Treaty and the renewal of historic ties. The delegation, composed of Yingdalan government officials, military officers, business leaders, and cultural titans, descended upon Tukarali in full force to demonstrate the importance of Yingdala-Tukarese relations.

Formal meetings were productive. These meetings largely followed the provisions of the Fraternity Treaty, including where policies could be coordinated and how to improve military interoperability and training. The Yingdalan and Tukarese business communities also discussed ways trade and investment could be boosted, given the near elimination of all economic barriers.

The Son of Heaven and the Tukarese President's meeting was equally productive, with an extremely friendly tone. Perhaps more informal than expected, given the desire to demonstrate a close friendship, the leaders noted how far the two have come and the importance of solidarity. Deeper cultural ties were discussed, with both sides pledging to carry out the full extent of cultural cooperation in the Fraternity Treaty.

Stronger ties will undoubtedly benefit both nations and help ensure the increasing Seleya-Dovani and Gao-Showa-Jelbo-Tukaric solidarity continues.

Launch of New Kun-Class Cruiser Signals Growth of Defense Economy

The Yingdalan defense industrial complex - essentially a public-private partnership - has grown more formidable over the decades since it was made an essential pillar of the Yingdalan economy. Relying more and more on Yingdala's top universities and research centers, the defense industry has quadrupled down on research and development prior to production. The launch of the new Kun-Class cruiser, a multirole missile cruiser, is emblematic of these developments.

The Kun-Class cruiser, named after the mythical giant fish, is a scientific marvel. Having drawn heavily on Yingdala's former military technology, Dabao Industries and Kaizhou Shipbuilding Corporation collaborated for years to design a new missile cruiser that would serve as that the capital ships of the Yingdalan Imperial Navy. The R&D and construction would not have been possible without strong government support and coordination among universities, including the National University in Tian'an.

Dubbed the Shu Taizu, the new Kun-Class cruiser uses an advanced radar and communications system as the foundation of defensive weaponry's accuracy and command and control. Its armaments primarily consist of anti-air and anti-ship missiles, as well as associated countermeasures. While it will be able to carry land-attack missiles, the ship will primarily serve as both a symbol of Yingdala's scientific ingenuity and modern navy, in addition to the critical role of perimeter defense of Yingdalan national waters.

Another mark of Yingdala's engineering prowess is the ship's stealth capabilities. Utilizing unique designs and materials, the Kun-Class is less visible to radar, infrared sensors, and sonar than other ships in the Yingdalan navy. This should make it operationally more successful than others and improve Yingdala's ability to defend itself.

Tian'an is believed to have been satisfied with the initial trials and ordered five. Symbolically, there would be one cruiser per Yingdalan state. Operationally, there would be one per fleet, with another in reserve. This would allow continuous patrols and submarine tracking operations.

Yingdalans can expect more defense developments to come over the decades and for the industry to remain and essential contributor to the Yingdalan economy.

Yingdalan Tourism Industry Booms as Cultural Cooperation Expands

Yingdala appears to becoming one of Terra's hottest destinations for travel. Millions of visitors are flocking to Yingdala's shores every year, according to a new report released by the Office of the Grand Astrologer. The report cites Yingdala's expanding international relationships - including on trade, investment, education, and culture - and emphasis on friendly diplomacy as the main drivers of tourism's growth.

Tian'an's diplomatic efforts - which have led to treaties with most of the Eastern Hemisphere and several across Artania and Majatra - have aimed to increase interest in Yingdala and its people. Educational and cultural exchanges across Terra have led to more people desiring to visit the land they've heard stories about and to understand the people they've encountered.

The growing number of Yingdalan Academies have also helped. Part of Yingdala's Model Treaty, these cultural centers have helped spread awareness of Yingdala, as well as its cultural products. The Academies have also assisted others in arranging and advising on travel to the country.

Business people and investors are also increasingly frequenting Yingdala due to new (and cheaper) opportunities emerging from Yingdala's treaty system. Besides their regular visits, they are bringing their family members and telling their friends all about the this "land of milk and honey." The more business that are established and the more trade generated, the more people are flocking to Yingdala.

Hotels, restaurants, gift shops, airlines, and tour companies are struggling to keep up. While construction of new locations and expanding opportunities persist, demand is difficult to meet. Government support will be needed to help fund tourism expansion and mobilize labor.

As tourism becomes a new major supporter of the Yingdalan economy, Tian'an will need to make additional efforts to ensure it does not become dependent on tourism. During hard economic times, tourism is among the first sectors to collapse. Balancing the benefits of the industry - both spreading Yingdalan culture and the monetary factor - will be essential for economic security.

Meanwhile, Yingdalans should be happy that people across Terra want to see and interact with them and their history. If the government continues on the current path, Yingdala will be brought closer to Terra and Terra closer to Yingdala.

Nuclear Energy Dominates Grid - Maintenance and Research Now Prioritized

After just over a decade of construction and billions spent, Yingdala has expanded its nuclear reactors two fold to 50 and leading to nuclear energy providing 40% of Yingdala's total electricity. GWh produced has grown to around 500,000. While new reactors will continue to be built, Tian'an has asked companies and research institutions to focus more on sustaining the life of these reactors and doubling-down on nuclear fusion research.

Given the existence of volcanoes and the potential for tsunamis, nuclear reactor safety and maintenance is critical. While this was kept in mind with the new construction efforts - deliberately avoiding problematic areas - it is a continuous process. Besides keeping people safe, expanding the life of reactors is essential to ensure a consistent flow of cheap energy to Yingdalan consumers.

Since Yingdala is blessed with an almost unlimited supply of uranium, nuclear energy should remain relatively cheap. As such, consumers - both individuals and businesses - can increase energy usage for productive means more efficiently. However, storage and disposal will likely become societal issues.

Despite the growth in nuclear fission power, efforts should not cease when it comes to fusion. In fact, the government is making this a central pillar of its nuclear energy policy. All efforts should be made to research and test nuclear fusion technology - including working with other countries through exchanges.

If it could be achieved, fusion would provide unlimited energy for a near infinite amount of team. Cheap, clean, and unlimited energy would unlock economic prosperity for the world. If Yingdala could contribute to that, the people would truly be blessed.

Gao-Showa Solidarity Increases with New Agreements with Seko and Xsampa

Terra's Gao-Showa states are growing increasingly closer as Yingdala penned two new treaties with Seko and Xsampa, following the standard Yingdala model. The ratification of the new treaties by the three countries increases Yingdala's agreements with Gao-Showa states to four - with negotiations pending with Dankuk. Should those be successful, Yingdala will have formed a loosely knit grouping of ethnically and culturally-related states effectively working together to increase common prosperity and security.

The improvement of relations with Seko was a bit of a surprise. While the monarchy's restoration was celebrated in Yingdala, some hardliners took offense to Seko's emperor officially adopting the title of Heavenly Sovereign, which they believe to be an attempt to claim the Yingdalan title of Son of Heaven. However, His Imperial Majesty the Son of Heaven's wisdom won the day with his willingness to set aside such an issue for the greater cause of the people's welfare.

Likewise, the agreement with Xsampa was unexpected. Although relations between the two countries had been on the improving track, some wondered if housing the royal family of Xsampa in the Heavenly Palace would prevent a productive relationship. However, the need for Dovanian solidarity was far greater. A formal relationship would be necessary to keep out imperialists.

As with Yingdala's model treaty, the agreements with Seko and Xsampa break down the barriers of trade and investment, making it far easier to do business in all three countries. Very likely, these provisions will help boost mutual economic growth and the people's prosperity.

Additionally, cultural and education cooperation between the Yingdala and the two countries will become essential. Besides educational exchanges and people-to-people relations, Yingdala will focus on very specific measures for both Seko and Xsampa. With Seko, the two countries will work to eliminate any issues with the written Gaozi characters to ensure both peoples can always read each other's writings. With Xsampa, several advisors will be sent to the government's Ministry of Education and state universities to advise on educational programming and design, while several Yingdalan professors will commit to teaching at Xsampan universities. Likewise, Xsampan education policy officials, professors, and teachers will regularly visit Yingdala to learn from the Yingdalan education system.

A new glorious era for the Gao-Showa people across Terra is on the horizon. They only need to seize it.

EDO Commits 10 Billion LOD Over Ten Years to Temanian Infrastructure Development

The Eastern Development Organization (EDO) has announced that it will inject 10 billion LOD over a period of ten years to support Temania's infrastructure development program. Funding will be 50% grants and 50% low interest (0.9%) loans, which are forgivable after 20 years of repayment. Support was requested by the Temanian government.

Speaking to reporters, the EDO Chairman Liu Zhongxun said, "EDO's first series of projects after centuries of dormancy are a signal to Dovani, Temania, and Vascania that EDO is committed to economic development of the East. We look forward to working with our partners to help Temania bring prosperity to its people."

EDO is expected to work with a mix of Yingdalan and Temanian companies to fulfill Temania's development needs. While Yingdalan firms are likely to benefit from some contracts, they will no doubt serve alongside Yingdalan experts in advising the Temanian government on best practice for implementation.

With the support of Tian'an, EDO is eager to expand its series of projects and bring prosperity to all Eastern peoples.

Son of Heaven Congratulates Lourenne on Preserving Monarchy

His Imperial Majesty the Son of Heaven sent a formal letter to the new Monarch of Lourenne, Maximilien, congratulating him on his ascension to the throne.

In the letter, His Imperial Majesty commended the Lourennais government for upholding the tradition of Canrillaise succession and that a male-preference system is ultimately more stable for the ruling dynasty than absolute primogeniture. He also mentioned Yingdala would be happy to improve relations with Lourenne at any time.

Although other monarchs have decried Lourenne's National Assembly's actions, Tian'an warmly welcomed them and saw it as a return to form - especially given the agnatic primogeniture restoration in Kizenia and New Endralon. A return to more traditional successions appears to be on the horizon.
