Indralan News Update

Within the past few decades, the Celestial Empire of Great Indrala has made a pivot from focusing on world affairs to that of its people. The government is encouraging agribusinesses and farmers of all types to focus on establishing new farming techniques that will increase yields and nutrition, specifically through natural and non-harmful means. Due to the Empires large size, food is critical, especially when the Imperial Clan made “feeding the people” a top priority when coming to power.
In accordance with the government’s action calling for increased creativity in the agricultural sector, the Imperial Court has increased its funding for research and development for defense. As conflict has been absent from Indralan life for countless decades, the government has a desire to improve defensive capabilities, focusing on the Imperial Navy and Air Force, the primary methods of anti-access. Yearly military drills have proceeded as planned, although most have focused on Indralan and colonial defense.

The Imperial Armed Forces spokesman states that, “The Celestial Empire is committed to defending Indrala to the fullest. Our focus on anti-access and defensive warfare is, at the present, a must. However, we shall still pursue improving our aggressive military abilities; they will just be taking a back seat for the moment.”
Education has taken a new turn in the Celestial Empire after numerous private academies have sprung up, with most of them focusing on the teaching of Classical Jienism and science and technology. These private “preparatory” academies have been hailed as a major source of academic freedom and innovation. While these private schools must adhere to certain national requirements, they are largely free to craft their own curriculum. Many students have begun taking courses at these academies during the weekend, supplementing their public schooling, while a minority attends the private academies full-time. Regardless, these private institutions, founded by ex-government employees, scientists, businessmen, and those desiring for greater specialization, have increased in popularity and prestige.

Despite these new internal developments, Indrala had to face them without its deceased Holy Emperor, Sima Fangxun. The Chuyuan Holy Emperor died peacefully in his sleep, passing away from old age. His wife, Holy Empress Ryeo Reijin, Princess of the Kyo and aunt of the current King of Dankuk, died shortly after her husband, resulting in a joint state funeral, one of which Indrala had never seen. The country was covered in white. Many Indralans chose to mourn their sovereign, for he gave the colonies greater autonomy and established a new form of government that saw a balance of power working in the interests of the people. Our former sovereign and his consort were buried in Imperial Clan of Sima tombs, located in the State of Han. Their mound was very modest compared to others, emphasizing Classical Jienist values. May Shangdi bless them and their dynasty.

Even though a dragon ascended to Heaven, a new dragon reigns in Indrala. Holy Emperor Sima Hua, descendant of all the Gao-Showan monarchs in Dovani, ascended the Dragon Throne in a glorious ceremony that took place at the Temple of Heaven. His Imperial Majesty made animal sacrifices to God at the Heavenly Altar and filled the Five Tripod Cauldrons, enormous bronze vessels made during the Xinhan Dynasty to commemorate five states coming into one and a symbol of imperial authority, to the brim with food and wine, attempting to please the gods and to have them bless Indrala. The Holy Emperor was also robed and given the imperial vestments, which of course included the Imperial Heirloom Seal of the Realm.

During His Imperial Majesty’s opening address, He highlighted the importance of Classical Jienism in society, pointing to the massive improvements in education and defense, along with the future improvements to agriculture. His Imperial Majesty also highlighted the need to avoid any sort of cultural and societal pluralism, pointing to the government of Hulstria and Gao-Soto, co-reigned by His Imperial Majesty’s sister’s husband. The Holy Emperor specifically stated, “Every few years Hulstria and Gao-Soto is besot with an extremist group that wants to marginalize society, or a major political party calls for more multiculturalism. When a society is pluralistic, racial attitudes form that take extremist views. These views are dangerous to societal safety and stability. However, when a society maintains its own, unique identity following cultural and historical lines, it can promote peace through greater understanding and integration. Through integration, society can maintain peace, as well as respect certain cultural traditions. What they do in Hulstria and Gao-Soto is truly a shame, for they are essentially imposing Western values on the Gao-Soton peoples. We do not condone these actions, especially when they are trying to show that the Western culture is superior to that of the Gao-Showan way of life.” As expected, those in attendance gave their new liege a standing ovation.

In more foreign policy related news, the Celestial Empire is very concerned with the situation going on in the Luthori colonies. Reports of racially motivated crimes against Gao-Showans in New Mordusia and Talmorschland have been increasing by the day. As the chief defender of the Gao-Showans in South Dovani, Indrala feels obligated to move in. Colonial forces have been ordered to the borders of New Mordusia and Talmorschland once they have completed the necessary drills. Already legislators and government officials are working on a series of bills to counteract Luthori aggression against the native peoples of Dovani. It is yet to be seen if Luthori colonial administrators can control their own regions. Should the action spill over into Indrala, we will have no choice but to intervene.

Calls for a New “Empire of Gao-Soto”, Agricultural Improvements, Localism Enshrined in History

With the Gao-Showan states of Dovani firmly under the light and grace of traditional monarchs, the intellectual and government elite in the Celestial Empire have begun calling for a union of sorts for the Gao-Showan peoples. At present, should the Gao-Showan states combine their lands, they will nearly equal the full-extent of the Empire of Gao-Soto of old, with the exception of Kazulia. A few radicals have even called for the King of Dankuk to press a claim to Kazulia, as it is believed the Kyo migrated from Kazulia to Dankuk. Regardless, these radicals are but a minority, but are gaining traction amongst officials.
Intellectuals have begun drafting a rough charter for the “New Empire”, which would take the form of a supranational organization in which the member states would share equal powers. Unfortunately, the Septembrist politicians in Hulstria and Gao-Soto have declared their opposition to any organization based on ethnic or cultural lines. Yet again, the pluralistic nature of Hulstria and Gao-Soto undermines traditional Gao-Showan values in an attempt to destroy them and merge what remains with Western cultural practices.

In response to criticism from the ethnic Hulstrian foreign minister of Hulstria and Gao-Soto, the Imperial Court issued a statement reading, “The Rt. Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs is apparently confused over our comments. Confusion is quite easily succumbed to by those who may be of low moral and educated quality, especially by those who do not educate themselves in higher culture. Our statements referred to the entire history of the post-Septembrist government, not just the current one. Post-Septembrist Hulstria and Gao-Soto, while having many Kunihito leaders, has continued to focus party ideology and establishment on Western cultural lines. Notice that even Gao-Showans are referred to as ‘Herr’ and ‘Frau/Frauline’, it is disgusting for a people to be treated this way. We encourage all Gao-Showans in Hulstria and Gao-Soto to peacefully rise in cultural unity and promote their glorious culture throughout all of Hulstria and Gao-Soto. Remember the natives and those who came and killed, raped, and pillaged a nation for wealth.”

His Lordship Duke Wu Zhi, newly appointed Minister of Finance and Grand Minister of Food and Agriculture, formerly the Junior Tutor to the Heir Apparent, later Grand Tutor to the Heir Apparent, and the former Chancellor of the State of Shu, has reported great gains for the agricultural industry. Throughout Indrala family farms have started a record breaking third harvest! This is due mostly the warm and wet climate of the Celestial Empire, along with more advanced farming techniques that have spurred with government funding.

The Minister, who has taken on two portfolios as is tradition for the Minister of Finance, is becoming a rising star in Great Indrala. His ties with the Imperial Clan are quite intricate, having personally taught the Crown Prince. Educationally, Wu Zhi has the standard jinshi degree from the Imperial University, equivalent to a PhD in Jienism and Indralan Politics and Government, as well as earning a PhD in law from Dengzhou University, the nation’s top university after the Imperial University. After attending university, Minister Wu managed his family’s farm, then entered local government as an official, steadily rising until where he is today. Certainly, due to his background, he will one day become Grand Taishi.

His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince has announced that his eldest male child will marry yet another noblewoman from the colonies, completing the union of the Gao-Showan nobility in the Celestial Empire, truly making the Imperial Clan representative of the colonies and binding them together through blood. The Crown Prince is married to the eldest daughter of the current Protector General of the Kingdom of Hanzen, who is considered to be the premier Duke of Hanzen and the would be king should the colony obtain independence. Thus, the third in line to the Dragon Throne will most likely wed a daughter of the premier Chief in Northern Utari Mosir, who would also be the Protector General of that colony.

Usher in the New Era of Restoration, Time for the Great Healing

After a little over a year of a nearly bloodless war, the Celestial Empire of Great Indrala has struck the most powerful blow Luthori has ever faced in its history as a colonial power: nativism. Luthori forces cowardly retreated to other parts of Terra as their society unraveled, showing how unstable Western cultures can be, ultimately posing a great threat to Dovani. However, that threat is largely over. Thanks to the Celestial Empire and its Gao-Showan brothers who have supported Dovani for the Dovanians, the foreign menace has been eliminated. Luthori has fallen and can no longer claim itself to be an empire with legitimacy. This act alone has been seen as a near impossible, as Luthori kept up a visage of invincibility, which was just that, a visage.

Shangdi has blessed the Gao-Showan peoples, allowing them to reclaim their rightful lands from those that took them. Not even the Empire of Gao-Soto of old could fight back. It was Indrala and its allies supporting nativism that defeated the great foreigner. Those who sat behind and perpetuated foreign rule of our lands should be ashamed. They have no right to ever claim cultural superiority again, nor any sort of divine leadership. No, only our Divine Emperor and those who have come out to support the Gao-Showan peoples may claim that sort of leadership.

In the capital of Tian’an, a military parade was held in front of the Heavenly Palace to celebrate our victorious forces. It was attended by His Imperial Majesty and other ranking members of the Imperial Court. His Imperial Majesty will be traveling around the Celestial Empire to address His people’s needs with the dawn of this new era of Gao-Showan power.

As happy as these events are, His Imperial Majesty offered his condolences to His Most Virtuous Majesty King Jinkyun of Dankuk, the Divine Emperor’s second cousin, for the loss of the late King Jongki III and Crown Prince Yongchae. His Imperial Majesty wishes for peace and prosperity in Dankuk and for its people to uphold their culture and traditions. He also urged Hulstria and Gao-Soto to support the current government of Dankuk in their attempts to further stabilize society.
The time is now for a Great Peace. The Gao-Showans have reclaimed their colonial lands and are a step closer to further restoring Dovani to its greatness. We must all work together to ensure that this peace is victorious in its efforts. Our future is bright and shining. We cannot fear grasping it and having it lead us to greatness.

Calls for Decolonization, Gao-Showan Succession, Promise for the Future

After decades of the unification of South Dovani, Squibble, Tropic, Vascania, and North Utari Mosir, the Celestial Empire has come to the conclusion that these regions, made up of a variety of ethnic groups and nations, deserve a chance at freedom and independence. The Indralan colonies, since the Southern Hemisphere War, have always been rather autonomous. Our Divine Emperors never considered them part of Indrala proper, but separate pieces that make up the Celestial Empire, using native titles instead of supposing they were all Indralan. In this regard, Indrala can be seen similar to the Septembrists of Hulstria and Gao-Soto, promoting a kind of ethnic pluralism, respecting the differences between the regions and incorporating them into the state. However, the similarities end there.

For many decades, Indrala has been introducing Jienism throughout the region, mostly South Dovani and North Utari Mosir, but the government has pushed for its spread into Squibble, Tropica, and Vascania. Jienism has, naturally, been viewed positively by many for its emphasis on universal education, a social safety net to ensure no one goes hungry, and moral and good government. Talmorschland, Utembo, and Medina have taken surprisingly well to it, incorporating many Jienist ideals into their daily society. Of course, amongst the Gao-Showan dominated areas of New Mordusia, now known as Nanshan (Southern Hills), and Bianjie (Border or Frontier), Jienism has taken over most aspects of life. Due to this rise in Jienism throughout Southern Dovani, the Imperial Court feels that independence for the colonies would be most suitable and proper, as they are now civilized and have adopted the Classical Jienist ways of the Indralans.

While many citizens view the loss of the colonial empire as a major loss in prestige and glory, bureaucrats note that more money will be available to spend directly on the Indralan people in Indrala, instead of stretching resources thin across the Celestial Empire. Independence for the colonies is of course, dependent on Dankuk, Sekowo, and Hulstria and Gao-Soto also decolonizing. It appears as if Dankuk is the most enthusiastic of the nations to decolonize, with Hulstria and Gao-Soto divided over the Ostland territory, which Indralan leaders have offered solutions, while Sekowo is wary of decolonization, most likely seeing it as a ploy to weaken the nation. However, Indrala must assure its fellow Dovani nations that it is truly committed to freedom and independence for the colonies. It does not seek to gain anything from the colonial independence. If Sekowo is worried that it may being used as a pawn, the Government of Indrala will always aid a Gao-Showan nation, regardless of circumstance. We must stick together.

In recent years, Emperor Go-Kurosawa, His Imperial Majesty the Divine Emperor’s brother by law, has passed on to Heaven, leaving the throne to Nobuyuki. His Imperial Majesty expressed His feelings in a private letter to the new Gao-Soton Emperor, wishing him success. However, His Imperial Majesty is no doubt concerned about the future of Gao-Soton succession, given that Emperor Nobuyuki only has daughters, citing the eldest as his heir. In Gao-Showan tradition, female monarchs are made monarchs in order to rule until a male comes of age, leading to abdication, or it follows the Sekowan model where the position of Empress can only be inherited by a female. Never in history has a male passed down his title to a daughter to have her pass it down to her own children and keep the same dynasty. Such an action would be purely anti-Jienist and go against all Gao-Showan succession traditions. We, the people of Indrala, urge the Emperor of Gao-Soto to sire a son or find a male member of his family to declare his or to be put in the care of his daughter, allowing her to rule for the new male until he comes of age.

Already, the House of the Way of Humane Authority has affirmed agnatic succession in Indrala, albeit the Divine Emperor has the authority to declare the most able of His sons Crown Prince. Such an action preserves the dynasty, continuity, and all that is good with our monarch.

With that being said, many Indralans are very hopeful for Hulstria and Gao-Soto with the rise of a new Kunihito party. Thousands across the Celestial Empire celebrated this new party’s large victory in the most recent elections, believing it to be a sign from Shangdi that the new age of the Gao-Showan will be brought to Hulstria and Gao-Soto in the form of a traditional and cultural revival. No doubt, the party will, or has already received tacit support from the Imperial Court. However, in order to dispel any accusations of the party being a mole or operative of Indrala, no official statements about the party will be made.

I, for one, wish them all the success in the world. May they help promote traditional Gao-Soton culture and give it as much influence as the Hulstrian culture.

Issues with Global Cooling

After a published piece concerning environmental anomalies in Squibble and Vascania, the Imperial Court and Government of the Celestial Empire has been forced to admit that such an observation is not far from the truth and may worsen in the future. His Lordship Duke Zhao Su, the Superintendent of Waterways and Parks and Minister of Environment and Tourism held a press conference today discussing the issue.

“What Zardic journalists have discovered may, in fact, be close to the truth. There have been strange environmental occurrences in Vascania and Squibble that have led to an unusual amount of cooling. However, it is yet to be seen if these natural occurrences will lead to Terran-wide cooling. Our government will be sending investigators to the areas to determine if there is another cause, while scientists within the Celestial Empire will offer their opinions for a solution. We will have more information for you all soon.”

While little is actually known what is causing volcanic eruptions, some conspiracy theorists hypothesize that the Indralan Government is deliberately encouraging the disasters through testing of new weapons or to force the colonies to further depend on the central government. A problem arises here as the government’s official mantra, which is its chief source of legitimacy, is Jienism, which would prevent the government from ever harming the people. The second issue is that no weapon in Terra has the capability of disturbing Terra’s geology enough to cause volcanic eruptions, not to mention such a weapon would be hugely expensive and Indrala would never test those weapons on their own population.

Other individuals accuse Zardugal of trying to fabricate evidence of “misrule” in order to force the international community to turn the colonies of Squibble and Vascania over to them, as it is reported some politicians are unhappy about decolonization, one that would be guaranteed by the international community.

Regardless of the situation, we will see more on this in the future.

Sekowo Disappoints, Mass Conversions Begin, Promotion of Nativism, A New Dragon Emerges

With the outright refusal of the Tenno-Mikado to support decolonization, Sekowo has disappointed the international community holding colonies, all of whom were willing to let go of colonial possessions in the name of freedom. The core argument made to persuade Sekowo to give up their colonies was prevention of Sekowan humiliation through occupation and raids by foreign powers in an attempt to steal colonies. Unfortunately, Sekowan leaders were unable to become as enlightened as the leaders of Dankuk, Hulstria and Gao-Soto, and Great Indrala; continuing their position as a pariah and friendless nation in Terra.

Despite decolonization’s current failure, Great Indrala intends the cause until Sekowo relents, even if that were to mean a government change. The Imperial Court will support a Sekowan regime favoring decolonization, even willing to support a change in monarchies, which would be in line with the Mandate of Heaven theory of ruling. However, the Indralan authorities must be content with their current situation and make the most of it.

The key to dealing with Dovani’s current situation as a largely colonized entity, at least in the eyes of the Indralans, is a mass civilizing effort. Many peoples throughout the Celestial Empire maintain indigenous, Ahmadi, or Hosian beliefs. These beliefs systems are somewhat contrary to Jienism, which is largely syncretic in terms of which deities can be worshipped, so long as Jienism and its rites are put first. The Ministry of Ceremonies, Education, and Culture has sent thousands of Jienist scholars to South Asli (Talmorschland) to convert the Ahmadi, Statrica to convert the Hosians, Nanshan (New Mordusia) to convert the Hosians and practitioners of indigenous religions, Bianjie (South Carinnean Territories) to convert the members of indigenous religions, and Utembo and Medina to convert the Daenist remnants.

According to the Ministry, all of South Dovani and a majority of Central Dovani should become firmly Jienist within one hundred years, making the philosophy-religion one of the largest in Terra. It is unknown if Vascania, Squibble, and Tropica will be targeted in the future. Should they be, Jienism could encompass a huge portion of the Eastern Hemisphere, connecting them eternally with the Gao-Showan culture. Surely, the new Ahmadi Caliphate will understand and not make any outbursts in an attempt to tell Indrala how to manage its own people.

Even though Great Indrala can be seen as the most “nationalist” of the Gao-Showan nations, maintaining a deep pride for traditional Gao-Showan culture, wealthy peoples throughout the Celestial Empire have been sending donations of money to the People’s Front of Democracy and Justice in Cobura, to fund their efforts to full make Cobura an Irkawan and Mallan nation. While the Imperial Court takes no stance on these political donations and acts of charity, it has been quietly promoting it. There is no doubt that the Government of the Celestial Empire saw the vast Augustan Empire as a threat to its presence in South Dovani, most likely harboring colonial ambitions once Majatra was secured. Should the Augustan peoples be pushed into one nation, a resurrection of the Augustan Empire seems unlikely. One less competitor is only a good thing for the Celestial Empire.

The Xingfu Divine Emperor has passed on to Heaven, leaving the Dragon Throne with His very old son, Sima Fa, the Mingde Divine Emperor. His Imperial Majesty is said to be primarily focused on spreading Jienism throughout the Celestial Empire, cultivating the nation first before focusing on its larger international goals. May His Imperial Majesty reign for Ten Thousand Years!

Ahmadism Slowly Disappears

Despite the rise of the Caliphate in Majatra, Ahmadism is on the decline throughout the Celestial Empire. A few years ago, the Indralan government initiated a mass conversion campaign, targeting the colonial peoples who had yet to follow a major religion, or belonged to the Ahmadi faith. Slowly, but surely, Ahmadism is being thrown away in favor of Classical Jienism, which ultimately is fairly strict in terms of ritual. Some have been able to reconcile certain Ahmadist characteristics with Jienism after speaking with scholars sent directly from the Ministry of Ceremonies, Education, and Culture. Others have simply embraced Jienism to the fullest, converting mosques and madrasas into Jienist temples of worship and scholarship.

For example, the Grand Mosque of Junjing (Fort Henry) in South Asli (Talmorschland), formerly one of the most important religious sites of Ahmadism in Dovani, has been completely torn down and replaced with a building using Indralan architecture and philosophy of construction. New Jienists in the area swiftly took to burning prayer rugs and Ahmadist relics, declaring them to be sacrifices to Shangdi for granting them enlightenment and the ability to make Terra a better place.

Ahmad Hakim, a former Ahmadist, has cast off his Ahmadist and Majatran identity and adopted the name "An He", fully embracing the Celestial Empire. "Decades ago my family was oppressed by the Western barbarians of Luthori. They treated us as slaves and subhumans to be used to fuel their Hosian oppression and ego. Hundreds of years before them we were enslaved by an Ahmadi Sultan who threatened us with death if we did not become Ahmadi. Now, the benevolent and scholarly leaders of Great Indrala have liberated us, bringing with them enlightenment and the ability to govern ourselves through Jienism. I thank His Imperial Majesty everyday for His virtue and continuing to provide the Asli peoples with freedom. I feel very sorry for the people in Majatra who are now enslaved to an old and sex-crazed pedophile who bathes in oil and sleeps in a bed of cash. How can the people support immoral leaders? Do they not realize that they are being led down the path of darkness?"

Mr. An, as he is now known, is a leader of a group of Jienist activists protesting against the Ahmadi Caliphate, calling upon its end and for the people of Majatra to immediately embrace Jienism and join the Celestial Empire.

Officials from the Ministry of the Household and Foreign Affairs and Directorate of Dependent States state, "What these people call for is totally unrealistic. However, we do agree that they should adopt Jienism. Ahmadism, by definition, is a barbaric religion. We respect it and its adherents, but it is full of barbarism. Not to mention, its religious leaders tend to be oafs concerned about power and sex rather than the welfare of their people. It is truly sad to see Majatra embroiled by Ahmadism. However, we respect the sovereignty of the Caliphate, no matter how backward it may be. We wish them peace and prosperity as we do for all of Terra. So long as they stay out of Dovani, then there shall be no problems."

The officials neglected to comment on Dankuk entering into Majatran affairs.

Balancing Act in the East

In Tropica, the Treaty of Solyenka is being signed by government officials from Great Indrala and Dankuk. As the largest empire known to man in the history of Terra, the Celestial Empire will be relinquishing its territories in North Dovani, North Vascania, and Tropica, while maintaining its military installations. Experts cite imperial overstretch to the main reasoning, with a benevolent gift to Dankuk being the marketed to the masses. By giving Dankuk near total control over North Dovani, Indrala is building up its clout and further improving its sibling-like relationship with Dankuk. No doubt, Hulstria and Gao-Soto will be fuming, believing in its sovereign right to dictate not only the affairs of North Dovani, but the Gao-Showan nations. Surely, the Hulstrians feel the colonies in North Dovani should have gone to them. Regardless, they are put in their place once again as one of the most isolated nations in Dovani.

This historical arrangement with Dankuk will not only relieve Indrala of a great burden, but will also protect and preserve the culture and monarchy of both nations, immediately granting each others' colonial empires to the other should the monarchy or Gao-Showan state fail. This will not only deter Westerners from invading, but will also eliminate potential communist and other anti-monarchist threats, bringing about great stability and harmony to the region.

A New History for the Gao-Showan?

Speaking of the Gao-Showans, a Dranianos professor at Dengzhou University in Great Indrala has unearthed an Indralan tomb dating back to the Kingdom of Gemu-Erka. Within the tomb, which managed to survive the "Great Burning", Professor Juan Martin discovered thousands of documents referring to peoples described as the Gaode being the majority ethnic group of Indrala, with groups being sent by the King of Gemu-Erka to North, Central, and South Dovani to bring back richest and wise men who are apt in the ways of immortality.

These very documents also describe successful expeditions and settlements, along with records detailing inventions, laws, and philosophies that were purported to have been created hundreds of years late in Gao-Soto. To the shock of Prof. Martin, the tomb is believed to belong to a man named Ji Enzi, the Indralan name for Jienfushi.

If these documents are legitimate, they would throw Gao-Showan history into a flux, with the origins of the Gao-Showan peoples and civilization being placed in Indrala, not in Gao-Soto. Dengzhou University has immediately called for Kyo experts to inspect the documents, as the most recent document refers to an expedition to a region known as Danbandao, which could possible mean the current nation of Dankuk. If this can be verified, no doubt the Indralan Government will call for digs in Dankuk to discover the whereabouts of the "first" Gao-Showans in Dankuk.

Academics from the Imperial University are keen to have the documentation verified, with courtiers in the Heavenly Palace leaking the Divine Emperor's sheer joy and excitement. Erudites are already preparing the case that the Gao-Showan homeland and cradle of civilization is in Indrala, not in Gao-Soto, as Gao-Soto was defeated by Westerners and colonized (nearly destroyed as a civilization), the only Gao-Showan to remain unscathed from full colonization was Indrala, Indrala was the only and is the only fully Gao-Showan nation, and Indralan royals never had the need to claim descent from divinity to bolster claims of leadership, instead relying on the support of the people, which is a direct representation of Heaven's Will.

Prof. Martin is beginning to call the new theory the, "Martin Divergence". The Kunihito split from the main group of Gao-Showans due to a feeling of superiority, however, they had to claim divinity in order to confuse other Gao-Showans into following them, while claiming Indralan achievements for themselves in order to maintain power and authority. Already, Prof. Martin's theory is being accepted, citing the current leaders of Gao-Soto as feeling they have a divine right to rule over the other Gao-Showan peoples because of their fabricated story of being demi-gods amongst mortals and the insistence that they are recognized as the ruler of all the Gao-Showan peoples.

While this discovery is sure to shake current views of history, it needs verification.

A Royal Invitation

Formal notices were sent yesterday from the Heavenly Palace in Tian'an to Lodamun, inviting members of the Xinpusen Clan and House de Karav to the palace. It is unknown what exactly the "Tricksters of Terra", originally a nickname given to the two families by the Indralans out of hatred, now a fond epithet describing the cunning of the two families in Lodamun, will be doing at the Divine Emperor's residence. However, there are rumors that His Imperial Majesty has ordered seals of authority to be made. We will all find out soon enough what is going on in the Court of the Dragon.

Xinpusens and De Karavs Join Imperials for a Reception at the Heavenly Palace, Tours of the Imperial University and Dengzhou University Commence

Members of the infamous Xinpusen Clan, of Indralan origin, and House de Karav were received by His Imperial Majesty the Deming Divine Emperor. While the occasion was a private one, its grandeur was unprecedented for influential people outside of Dovani. The Divine Emperor presented the heads of both noble lines seals conferring on them both the ranks of nobility in Indrala. Both heads were made hereditary barons of the Celestial Empire with the style of “Lordship”. Rumors emerging from the mouths of courtiers point to a possible recognition and endorsement of House de Karav’s claims to the title Prince of Lodamun, Count of Beluzia, among other local titles.

After the formal ceremonies had concluded, His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince led the Xinpusens and de Karavs on a tour of the Imperial University, highlighting the focus on traditional Indralan subjects, which include mathematics, and Dengzhou University, specifically touring the computer sciences and engineering departments. The major point of the campus tours was to see the two winners of a Karav Financial Services scholarship to create a more effective and user-friendly database for customers. Both students were promised full employment after graduation at arguable the most prestigious and powerful private bank in Terra.

Today is a very proud moment for the Indralan youth and education system.

Celestial Empire Warns Against Cheng Socialists, but Calls for Compromise

After the reign of the Xin Dynasty under the Tengyuan Clan, Cheng Daenists were either converted to a more suitable religion, or exported to Keymon to live under an autonomous enclave. Those radicals nearly destroyed traditional Indralan ways of life with their mass desire for total equality and nearly endless warfare with those who disagree.

Contrary to Daenist beliefs, the Cheng Daenists are a very violent group. It is no surprise that they have attempted to rebel against the proper authorities in Dankuk. They know very well that the people will not support the radicals through the ballot box in free and fair elections. Thus, the Cheng Socialists must resort to obtaining power through violence or rigging elections.

The Imperial Court and Government of the Celestial Empire of Great Indrala fully supports the efforts of the government of Dankuk to stop the rebels and restore peace and harmony to the land. If Cheng Socialism is to be accepted, they must accept the monarchy. If the monarchy is not accepted, Indrala cannot accept the Cheng Socialists. Tradition must be preserved and it is the monarchy of Dankuk that represents the tradition, history, and culture of the Kyo peoples. Not to mention, it is a source of stability and has the influence to stop dictatorship by politicians. His Most Virtuous Majesty the King of the Kyo is above politics and is the only true representative of the people, as He works only for the best interests of the people of Dankuk. Arguments that an elected head of state is more representative are false and should not be deemed satisfactory. An elected head of state is divisive and only truly represents the individuals who voted for him or her, not the entire nation. Only monarchs can do that. However, we Indralans know that the Cheng Socialists do not want democracy.

Cheng Socialists want two things: 1. Total control over every aspect of the lives of the people and 2. Entrench their power in the state permanently through a militaristic dictatorship. Both of these points are found in history. That was the oldest Dankuk of the modern age, the Gao-Soto before the Septembrist Movement, and Indrala throughout various points in history.

If the Cheng Socialists promise to protect and preserve the Kyo monarchy at all costs and promise to respect and recognize the traditions of the Kyo peoples, then a compromise should be formed. Then and only then can this group be accepted.

Do not fear, should the Kyo peoples call, their Indralan brothers will come to their aid. May the King of the Kyo reign for one thousand years! Long live the Kingdom of Dankuk! Long live the Kyo monarchy!

“Martin Divergence” Made Orthodoxy

With the conclusion between experts from Dankuk, Great Indrala, and their respective colonies being unanimous, the origins of the Gao-Showan peoples has been firmly established to have begun in Indrala, thus making the recent research and discoveries of Professor Martin completely accurate. In accordance with the findings being legitimate, a bill has been proposed in the House of the Way of Humane Authority, fully recognizing the Martin Divergence as state orthodoxy, with plans to introduce the new knowledge into the education system of the Celestial Empire. Members of the House have also called for an international treaty to be written, garnering the recognition of the nations of Terra for the newly discovered history of the Gao-Showa. No doubt authorities in Hulstria and Gao-Soto will be angered, as their nation and peoples have been officially relegated to the backwater of thieves and imposters that they are.

“Martin Divergence” Results in Investiture Plans

His Imperial Highness Prince Sima Dan, the great grandson of His Imperial and Most Jienist Majesty the Deming Divine Emperor, will be officially recognized as the Heir Apparent and Crown Prince of the Celestial Empire with the death of his father, Prince Sima Chang. As the Divine Emperor’s chariot is being prepared so that He may enter Heaven, plans for a special investiture ceremony are taking hold as Terra begins to accept the “Martin Divergence”. Rumors emerging from the Heavenly Palace suggest that Prince Sima Dan will not only be made Divine Emperor of the Celestial Empire, but also the Divine Emperor of the Gao-Showan peoples, establishing himself as the supreme Gao-Showan leader and suzerain of the Gao-Showan peoples of Terra. This position has been claimed a few times by members of the Okatori Clan. However, it should be noted that they do not maintain any Heavenly Mandate, as they rule over a small number of Gao-Showans compared to Great Indrala, and are known for their genocide of the Orinco peoples of Sekowo many centuries ago. Systematically exterminating a people, not to mention the support for the elimination of traditional Gao-Showan culture and claims of divine descent, are not the traits of a true Emperor of the Gao-Showa.

Shangdi decides the true Son of Heaven through the will of the people, not by supporting a forged ancestry to dupe the people into believing in a living god.

Imperial Court Condemns Cheng Daenist Revolution in Dankuk, Reclaims Colonial Territory and Supports Kyo Monarchy

Cheng Daenists were thought to be extinct in Terra. Hundreds of years ago, Cheng Daenists in Indrala were either converted or expelled from the country as terrorists, as they were the warmongers who began the Southern Hemisphere War, bringing death and destruction to thousands throughout Dovani. It appears that these dogs still exist. With the fall of the Dankuk monarchy, the Celestial Empire can no longer support the Kyo nation’s government.

Already, a massive propaganda campaign is being organized, highlighting the horrors of the Cheng Daenists, noting their long history of warfare, death, and destruction. Not to mention highlighting their failures in state craft, which often lead to a state under their control devolving into chaos in less than a hundred years. These inhumane terrorists must be stopped at all costs before they destroy traditional Kyo culture. The National Police Force of the Celestial Empire has begun arresting suspected Cheng Daenists, especially Kyo Cheng Daenists, on suspicion of treason, terrorism, and crimes against Gao-Showans. No one is safe until this radical movement is eliminated.

Representatives in the House of the Human Authority have stated, “Cheng Daenism is nothing but a distortion of Daenism to achieve mass killings. These people thrive on death and crave it everyday. Not to mention their love of destroying tradition to establish a utopia, ultimately based on death. They are trying to force the people of Dankuk to believe the King of the Kyo is not traditional, that Jienism is not traditional, that all of the Kyo traditions are actually not traditional. These pigs want people to believe that the history of the Kyo began in the early 3000s. I urge the Kyo to rise up and slaughter these animals, for that is all they are, animals.”

Members of the government have begun discussions on a possible declaration of war, as troops based in Northern Dovani and Vascania have moved in to reclaim colonial territory in accordance with various diplomatic treaties signed with Dankuk. Military units are being prepared as we speak in preparation for a failure of international sanctions.

On the diplomatic front, the sister of Prince Sima Dan has wed a future heir to the Kyo monarchy, strengthening ties between the Ryeo and Sima Clans, with some major figures of the Ryeo Clan fleeing to Indrala.

Indrala will not waiver and shall never support Cheng Daenist Dankuk until the monarchy is restored. Until then, consider the friendship between the two nations over. The Kyo restoration and Jienist resurgence is about to begin.
