Son of Heaven Restoration Society Forms to Restore Traditional Yingdala
Image
Young Son of Heaven Restoration Society Supporters March Through Tian'an

After decades of a republic, supporters of a return to Yingdala's traditional government managed to reform a new political party called the Son of Heaven Restoration Society. The Society, formed by idealists and fondness for Yingdala's past, aims to reestablish the position of Son of Heaven and restore Yingdala to its past glory. With no official opposition, victory seems assured for the long haul.

In recent years, Yingdala's position in Terra has fallen. It is no longer the shining gem it once was. Traditions have decayed and society rot has set in. It is no wonder that the Son of Heaven Restoration Society was founded. The question will be how far they can take Yingdala.

Son of Heaven Restoration Society Wins Elections, Begin Traditional Restoration

Son of Heaven Restoration Society Celebrates Election Victory

Yingdala's recent election was no surprise: the Son of Heaven Restoration Soceity won the full support of the people. Clearly, the Yingdalan people viewed a manifesto promising a restoration of the Son of Heaven and traditional Yingdalan values and culture to be beneficial.

Kong Shuren, leader of the Society, immediately announced that that the Society would become the Jien Constitutionalist Party, a party dedicated to Jienism and constitutional monarchy. Kong, a Jienist scholar, was proposed to head the government as Counselor-in-Chief.

Immediately upon entering the legislature and the government, the Jien Constitutionalist Party proposed legislation to restore the Son of Heaven system under Jiang Ji, courtesy name Chang. Jiang, a member of a minor and impoverished noble family in Shu that is descended from ancient Yu Clan (the first kings of Yingdala), was proposed due to his families lack of involvement in previous dynasties in an attempt to better unite the people. Furthermore, Jiang has the background and demeanor of a peasant farmer - a perfect candidate to connect with the people.

Time will tell if the restoration will be able to truly bring back Yingdalan greatness, but the Jien Constitutionalists will endeavor upon a program of self-strengthening, first focusing on reforming and investing in education while reforming Yingdala's economy and making it first rate in Terra. Only then can Yingdala begin to fathom a defense policy that will be successful.

CITIZENS ALLIANCE REVIVED, VOUCHES FOR "INDRALAN REVIVAL" AND PROGRESSIVE POLICIES
The Citizens Alliance has been revived by former doctor Peng Song and has been rebranded into a environmentalist, social liberal party, vouching for a indrala revival on the world stage
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Tian'an: The Citizens Alliance, a short lived party around 150 years ago, has been revived by former doctor Peng Song. The party, which was originally a right wing Haukist party, has been rebranded by Peng Song into a social liberal environmentalist party slightly to the left of Indrala politics. The new party under Song his leadership has vouched in their opening speech that they will "Revive Indrala on the world stage" aiming to make it into the global giant it once was. The Citizens Alliance has outlined their program as well, vouching for a more progressive Indrala which is eco friendly and has a strong stance on women and workers rights.

In a short interview party leader Song stated that it is not his goal to topple the current constitutionalist government

While it is our goal to improve Indrala and make the country more transparant and effective we have no intention of undermining the current constitutionalist government as we are thankful for them protecting our great monarchy. If our party succeeds in its vision we will include the Constitutionalists in the next government, if we reach a majority by ourselves. By doing this we hope to create unity amongst us Indralans and achieve the common goal of propelling the nation forward

The party has already launched campaigning efforts and has been lobbying at several trade unions and influential players in Indrala politics. It is expected that they will do good in the upcoming elections as many want a new voice within the Indrala government.

PROTESTS AND STRIKES AGAINST NATIONAL GOVERNMENT
The Citizens Alliance has organized nation wide protests against the upcoming implementation of the new judicial system
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Tian'an: The Constitutionalist Party recently proposed a major justice reform. In this proposed reform the party proposed legalizing the death penalty, allowing it to be carried out in public and be broadcasted but above all the reform will also legalize mutilation as a punishment. According to CA chairman Peng Song this reform goes against everything Yingdala stands for

Our nation has always been proud on its peacefull traditions. All of us live in harmony and peace, we stand next to eachother as brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers. We help eachother in times of need and do not resort to violence or death to solve our problems. This reform will strike at the core of Indralan society. It will take away the right of people to rehabilitate and become better human beings, it will destroy the right of people to fair and humane trial and it will be a major violation of human rights established in several international treaties including some from the World Congress. This reform MUST be stopped and we as Indralans should do whatever necessary to stop the destruction of our precious culture and traditions

The new party called upon the Indralan people to protest against the proposed reform on social media. The message was received by thousands as many are outraged against the proposed changes of the government into the judicial laws of the country. Around 67.000 people are currently protesting in Tian'an square and more are expected to join. Several small trade unions have also announced strikes in their respective industries and the organisers of the protest have announced several more protest locations one of them being the Imperial Palace.

The protests are expected to grow further and increase in intensity as the passing of the reforms comes closer by the day. Peng Song himself has joined protestors on the main square of the capital and will "not leave until this disgracefull reform is wiped of the table"

Son of Heaven Officially Enthroned
Image
His Imperial Majesty Emperor Jiang Ji ascends the the coronation platform at the Altar of Heaven with attendants

His Imperial and Royal Majesty, and Radiant Highness, Jiang Ji (courtesy name Chang), Son of Heaven, King, Sovereign, and Emperor of Yingdala, was enthroned in a glorious, Jienist ceremony on September 9, 4651. The ceremony followed strict Jienist traditions. Official participants, including the Son of Heaven, fasted the day before the ceremony. On the day of the enthronement, all participants wore court dress according to their rank. The procession from the Heavenly Palace to the Altar of Heaven was led by the Minister of Education and Culture, Cheng Guanting. As the Minister of Education and Culture, Cheng was responsible for all aspects of the ceremony.

At the Altar of Heaven, His Majesty presented the sacrificial meat and other food and drink in front of the Five Tripod Cauldrons, representing the five Yingdalan states, to request Heaven's blessing. The Son of Heaven performed three full ketous, or three kneelings and nine bows, toward the tablet representing Heaven and the Five Tripod Cauldrons. This portion of the ceremony represented the Son of Heaven's subjection to Heaven's will, who ultimately sees and hears through the people. In contrast to prior ceremonies, the Imperial Heirloom Seal of the Realm and Staff of Authority were not presented. Not only were these two objects not originally part of the first Jienist enthronement ceremonies, but they also represented a form of oppressive monarchy that the Jien Constitutionalists did not want to present to the people.

After the prayers concluded, the Son of Heaven descended the platform and led the procession, followed by the Minister of Education and Culture, back to the Heavenly Palace for a feast in honor of the enthronement and its attendees. Along the way, the royal party granted alms to the sick and poor, demonstrating the Son of Heaven's role as father of the Yingdalan people and the benevolence required of the position.

Overall, the ceremony and its related activities served as a grand show of unity of the Yingdalan people, representing the best of their traditions, culture, and history. May the Son of Heaven live forever!

Jien Constitutionalists Pass Series of Reform Packages, Counselor-in-Chief Directly Engages Protestors
Image
Counselor-in-Chief Kong Shuren walks among and directly addresses protestors

Having secured the unanimous support of the Yingdalan people during the 4650 elections, the Jien Constitutionalists immediately engaged in passing a number of reform packages. These reforms, aimed at reestablishing a Jienist society, have largely followed the policies proscribed by the Classics. Educational reform and establishing a mandatory Classical Jienist curriculum for all grade levels, including university, was the most important, followed by economic, health, agriculture, and military reforms.

Contrary to what many believe, Classical Jienist education places a heavy emphasis on math and science. Learning about the Classics and their role in society is important, but math and science allow one to understand the ways of Heaven. With this reform, Yingdalans will not only be able to cultivate their personal virtue and follow the Son of Heaven, but will also be able to think creatively and further develop Yingdala's scientific knowledge, as well as contribute to Yingdalan ingenuity.

Furthermore, which could be seen as a way to undercut the newly reformed Citizens' Alliance platform, the Jien Constitutionalists passed legislation strengthening the power of unions, raising the minimum wage to a living wage, and are posed to pass environmental reforms that will see less pollution in and more beautification of Yingdala. Agriculture reforms will also pass before the elections. These reforms will promote sustainable farming and allow for more equal distribution of land,.

On the other hand, the justice reforms have elicited a negative response from some. There have been some leaks to media outlets indicating that the Jien Constitutionalists are reconsidering the reforms, especially on mutilation. According to the Classics, mutilation is an acceptable punishment for certain crimes. Different crimes require different punishments. According to the Classics, the least severe was tattooing, while the most severe was castration. Although unusual, these punishments kept people out of jail and reduced the burden on the state while serving as an example to society. However, the Classics also discuss how these punishments were invented by barbarians and considered to be cruel and tyrannical.

In order to attempt to quell the protests, Counselor-in-Chief Kong Shuren walked among the protestors and addressed them, to the chagrin of hardliners led by the Minister of Justice.

Oh beloved people of the Son of Heaven, forgive us for our rashness and lack of introspection. You are the voice of Heaven. The Jien Constitutionalist Party and the Government apologies for our actions and express deep regret. At the first opportunity, we pledge, alongside the Citizens' Alliance, to eliminate mutilation and ensure that cruel and tyrannical punishments are banned. Heaven has clearly spoken on this matter and we will listen.

Yingdalan Economy Explodes by 50% and Businesses Booming Thanks to Jien Constitutionalists
Image

After passing a series of economic reform packages, lowering income taxes, and increasing government spending while maintaining a surplus, Yingdala's economy rose by 50% in the course of a few months. Prior to the tax and budgetary changes, the Grand Union's economy stood at around 4 trillion INS. Jien Constitutionalist reforms added 2 trillion INS to Yingdala's GDP, which equates to around 20,000 INS in the pocket of each Yingdalan citizen. The reforms, largely driven by a combination of increased government spending and private investment and consumption, have not only unlocked productivity, but have placed Yingdala back on track to assuming a higher economic status in Terra.

Jien Constitutionalists have been modest, arguing that the recent boom is due to the energies of the people. The Ministers of Finance and Trade and Industry released a joint statement saying:
After years of high taxes and inadequate government spending, Yingdala is living under a new era of benevolence. Furthermore, not only does our current surplus give us the ability to adapt in the future, but the past numerous years of 1 trillion plus INS surpluses have given the government a unique ability to invest for the long haul. These funds will be given back to the people through the restoration of Yingdala's place in Terra.

As a result of the reforms, countless new businesses have been formed. Many are pursuing traditional Yingdalan businesses like farming cooperatives, agriculture support (chemicals and genetics) companies, consulting firms, and defense complexes. Other businesses, like media holding companies, are also blooming throughout Yingdala. These and other businesses with international reach will be critical to Yingdala's soft power efforts.

If the Jien Constitutionals are unable to win the March elections, then a miracle for the opposition parties will have truly occurred.

CA VOUCHES TO CONTINUE PROTESTS UNTIL ELECTIONS
The Citizens Alliance with their leader Peng Song at the helm has announced that they will continue the protests in the Indrala capital until the elections in a month
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Tian'an: The Citizen's Alliance under the leadership of Peng Song has announced that despite government promises to repeal the mutilation reforms recently passed the protests, which have already drawn a total of 200.000 protestors, will continue until at least the upcoming elections. Song stated that:

Despite the government promising to reverse these reforms we have had no real changes or new proposals coming the Grand Assembly. The government may say one thing but they are doing the other! Even going as far as to release propaganda onto the streets that they supposedly grew the economy by 50% single handily! Which simply isn't true. While the Indralan economy has been improving it certainly didn't increase in such absurd levels. This government is lying to stay in power and i think its a disgrace. I, as the leader of a party that stands with the people, will stay here with protestors until the moment that election results come in, it is time for a fair, transparent and democratic government in power! I call upon every citizen that cares about our fragile democracy to come out and vote!

The CA has aided the protestors in the form of logistical support through the supply of phones, aid in social media coordination and by providing for food and water during the protests. Now, sit-ins are taking place near the Imperial Palace, Tian'an Main Square, The Underground Metro and several streets in the capital. As stated earlier the total number of protestors is currently placed at around 200.000. With analysts expecting around 150.000 to go home over the coming month around 50.000 will likely remain until the elections next month.

Early polls indicate a close race between the new Citizens Alliance and the ruling Constitutionalists however many polling stations point out that polling could be rather unreliable as the government seems keen on keeping support for the CA at a minimum.

CITIZENS ALLIANCE WINS MASSIVE ELECTORAL VICTORY
The Citizens Alliance wins a major victory despite all odds, winning over 85% of the vote and taking 629 seats in the Grand Assembly
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Tian'an: The center-left Citizen's Alliance has won a unprecedented victory against the ruling Constitutionalist party. The party's leader Peng Song announced his party's victory in the Main Square of the capital where he has been for the last 6 months together with protestors. After this he went to his party HQ in the city to congratulate his staff and talk to the press. The party will, according to exit polls, win over 85% of the vote despite several government regulated polls before the election stating that the party would only capture 45% of the vote, clearly these polls were highly inaccurate.

Song, which is likely to become the new Councillor-in-chief, has stated that his party will not create a unity cabinet with the constitutionalists as they first pledged to do, their recent radical behavior combined with less progressive legislation has led the CA to not desire a cooperative relationship between them and the constitutionalists. The soon to be installed government will, according to Peng Song, push through progressive legislation aimed at bettering pensions, workers rights, women rights and environmental rights. Animal welfare will also be addressed and, despite the party being in favor of nationalized public healthcare, public education and government owned public transport they have vouched to loosen regulation on several industries and create the "perfect balance" between the public and private sectors.

GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCES IEAA BILL TO "AWAKEN" THE INDRALAN ECONOMY
Counselor-in-Chief Peng Song has announced his party's bill named the IEAA which is aimed at "awakening the indralan economy and bring it back as one if not the strongest on the planet
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Tian'an: The Indralan Councelor-in-Chief presented with great pride his party's "Indralan Economic Awakening Act" or IEAA to the press outside of the parliament building. The plan includes the creation of a special fund to help Indralan bussinesses succeed. It also includes a plan to repair and add upon the infrastructural system of the country with over 20 billion LOD available to construct new roadnetworks around and between major population centers and improving the quality of both big highways and smaller inner city roads. A new agency named the RMCA (Road Maintenance and Control Agency) will also be established. This agency will be government run and tasked with checking and maintaining the Indralan roadnetwork.

The entire plan is aimed to give the Indralan economy a rebirth of some kind, pumping billions in fascilitating growth and expansion as well as lowering regulations in certain sectors to encourage growth as well. The Councelor is also expected to reach out to global partners such as Lourenne in order to strengthen trade relations and possibly increase Indralan economy power overseas.
In addition to the changes and investments from the IEAA the government is also preparing a new budget. In this budget a emphasize will be placed on stimulating the economy by adding more funds to the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Infrastructure as well as extra funds to the Ministry of Foreign affairs to ensure they have enough resources to branch out Indralan influence in Terra.

It looks like the Indralan Dragon is awakening and that it is ready for a chapter of renewed prominence in its history.
