Indrala University to Undergo Massive Expansion and Modernization Project
Top private university in Yingdala begins a 5.2 billion shaper expansion and modernization project

Image

TIAN'AN, Han — Founded over 700 years ago, Indrala University has announced its first expansion and modernization project. Currently a medieval-Indralan styled building, the university is set to become one of the most modern universities in the country.

TQ Construction and Land Solutions was tapped as the construction company to handle this project, bringing in generations of experience. The campus is relocating to the shores of Tian'an in a smaller suburban city, which focuses its economy around green energy and that motivated the new style of the university. The new Indrala University will be the first in Yingdala to center its entire building around green energy, creating a green garden campus with renewable energy sources such wind and solar. Construction is expected to take a little over two years.

The capacity for students will increase from just under 40,000 to a little over 100,000, however, the university's Board of Regents stated that qualifications will not decrease to make up for the capacity increase, whether, those who meet the high standards and qualifications are more likely to receive acceptance. The future for this KITE university is bright!

Jienist sweep into power in Tian'an
November 5014 - Jienist Nationalist Party sweep elections, elect Xiong Wu as new leader.
Image
Newly elected Chairman of the National People's Committee Xiong Wu has announced sweeping reforms. The reforms are focused around Jienist ideals and a Republican form of government are a response to the disastrous Communist reforms proposed by the now defunct Communist Party of Yingdala. Wu, who is to likely become interim President of a transitional state, has promised an aggressive campaign to reclaim Yingdalan supremacy in the region, notably in Dovani and the Anatonese Ocean. Wu, the leader of the powerful Jienist Nationalist Committee which operates the Jienist Nationalist Party, has proposed a program to replacing their old "Tower and Road Initiative". The new program is aimed at benefiting developing nations and nations who have suffered recently in the global economic downturn. The new program, known as the New Harmony Initiative, will focus on low-interest loans, state building efforts and the development of infrastructure. The program will be overseen by the new State Council and is being touted as a major piece of Yingdalan foreign policy. President Wu has made it clear that Yingdala will make a global role in the efforts to assist the global economy. He has directed all efforts of the new government towards both rebuilding domestic economy and infrastructure but also international economies.

The State Council, the title of the cabinet for the interim State of Yingdala, will be lead by Premier Qiu Yong, a close ally of a Deputy Chairman of the Jienist Nationalist Committee. Yong has laid out a number of social welfare programs aimed at expanding care for various populations in Yingdala that have been neglected in recent years. The first is the creation of a unified State Council-based administration for healthcare known as the National Healthcare Administration. The NHA will be responsible for the state-operated healthcare system and will be charged with regulating the private healthcare industry within Yingdala as a whole. The NHA will be headed by Director Dr. Du Guanyu, the veteran doctor has served as a health care advisor to several prominent Jienist Nationalist Committee members and she is the wife of a leading member of the JNC. Dr. Guanyu will work closely with incoming Minister of Health and Social Services Dr. Yuan Lei. This is joined by the establishment of the National Pension Administration (NPA) which will handle the compulsory public pension that all citizens of Yingdala will not pay into.

President Wu also confirmed that underneath the State Council will be a new office underneath the Ministry of Education and Culture known as the State Jienist Commission which will comprise scholars from both modern Jienism an classical Jienism, study Jienism, its origins and its impact on government.

Ministry of Finance manages sell off of corporations
January, 5015 - Finance Ministry assists in large-scale sell off of state-controlled corporations to domestic purchasers
Image
Minister of Finance Hu Yun announced that in accordance with a decree by the President, they had begun the sell off of state-owned corporations in accordance with the upcoming Economic Liberalization Law in which the government will not maintain state owned corporations in large swathes of the economy. The decree of the President, supported by the Economic Liberalization Law, has generated some controversy within Yingdalan political circles due to the unchecked, somewhat ambiguous authority being wielded by the President who remains politically popular with a significant part of the population. In recent polls conducted by the Tian'an Times, the Kaizhou Inquirer and Tiandi Daily, the President has polled at roughly 52% popularity with the second favorite being Premier Qiu Yong coming in at 50%. In recent weeks since the election there has been a number of ambitious Yingdalan expatriates returning to Yingdala given the radical liberalization overhaul to the economy, among them are eccentric YIngdalan billionaire Zhuan Tian who operates New Yingdala Minerals. Zhuan has returned to his home in Tian'an following his departure shortly before the coming of the Communist government in Yingdala. A number of corporations who have operated within the nation within the past such as Asvald Gruppen Indrala or Bo-Wu Company have entered into formal agreements with the Yingdalan government to buy previously nationalized parts of their companies.

A recent awakening has been in the military-industrial sectors which have blossomed in recent weeks due to flushing out of the new State Military Commission (SMC) in which President Wu serves as the Chairman of the State Military Commission and which Minister of Defense General Zheng De serves as a Vice Chairman. Corporations such as Fengshan Aerospace Organization have begun high-level talks to produce next generation aircraft and equipment for the Yingdalan Army Air Force (YAAF), notably the J-20 fighter jet; other corporations such as Tian'an Shipyard, a historical shipyard has been contracted to handle the modernization and improvement of the Yingdalan Army Navy (YAN) over the course of the next several years.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already reached out to several nations regarding potential dealings with the New Harmony Initiative. President Wu has vowed that the NHI will become a major component of Yingdala's foreign policy to the world in that it will benefit both Yingdala and the wider international economy.
