The Fourth Path secure victory as the Patriot delivers
Yingdala welcomes its new female president

Leader Lin Xianling addresses the people.

There's no doubt that it was a good night for The Fourth Path. They secured victory in four out of five of the country's provinces and increased their vote share across the board. Leader Lin Xianling will be particularly happy with the result coming out of Min where the party went from a dismal 2.80% of the vote to a healthy 58.62%. The Fourth Path even managed to retain their Jiaozhi heartlands, which will surprise political analysts who had predicted a National Liberty Party win there. All of this will certainly have convinced Lin that his political ambitions were justified and he now as a mandate to shape the nation. It would be remiss, however, not to mention that he's probably feeling the pressure too. Indralan big businesses gave vast sums of money to his campaign on the promise of legislation in the favour and now they will expect him to deliver. So, what will Yingdala look like under Lin's rule? Expect laissez faire economics, skeptism on climate control, more boots on the ground and less of an emphasis on internationalism.

We did it folks. I'm the man in the big chair now. I wanted to beat the opposition bad. Real bad. I beat them pretty bad, but not quite as badly as I would have liked. I promised you I'd be tough on foreigners, give you jobs, protect the economy and secure your liberties. That's exactly what I'm going to do. It's going to be beautiful. It's going to be great.

Today isn't just about Lin though. Today also marked the ascension of Abe Chinatsu to the presidency. This will be the cause of some relief for the more moderate factions of The Fourth Way who will welcome her more moderate politics amongst Lin's conservative rhetoric. What role Abe will play in shaping the nation's future over the next five years is uncertain, but she remains a vital part of The Fourth Path's political machine. With a presidency, prime minister and majority in the National Congress all flying The Fourth Path banner, there is little to stop them from re-shaping Indrala in their rather convervative vision.

Homeland is disbanded pending investigation
Abe Chinatsu authorises investigation into links with far-right extremist groups

The Fourth Path's most powerful and influential lobby, Homeland, who were instrumental with shifting the party's focus to the right-wing, is disbanded pending an investigation into links with far-right extremist groups. Abe Chinatsu has made it clear that although this is unacceptable, the group is not being investigated for advocating extremist ideologies, but rather accepting funding from people or organisations that purport them.

This will be seen as a blow for Lin's administration who are heavily involved with the group, and Lin's campaign was mostly funded by Homeland's efforts. So far Lin has been unreachable for comment, but we expect that if found guilty, Lin may find himself increasingly isolated and potentially stuck wandering the political wilderness.

The Fourth Path holds its leadership contest
Abe Chinatsu secures broad victory - pledges a shift towards the left

Abe Chinatsu who will soon leave the presidency has been declared the winner in the Fourth Path's recent leadership contest. Abe beat her two competitors by a broad margin having reached out to the White Lotus Society with the promise of a marked shift to the left. This signifies the first left-wing party in Indralan politics for quite some time.

As part of a move away from the Fourth Path's far right approach, Abe has announced a return to party roots with the re-establishment of "The Middle Path" brand.

A return to the party's roots

The Kaizhou Inquirer waits in interest to see what the National Liberty Party's response will be considering how this re-shapes current political affairs. Abe Chinatsu won't formally take control of the party until May of 4863, but will be campaigning for election. Until then, the party will remain under Lin's "The Fourth Path" banner.

The Middle Path wins election landslide
Prime Minister Abe Chinatsu makes promise of change

The votes have been cast and the results are now in. The nation has overwhelmingly voted in favour of the Middle Path - in particular in the province of Han where the opposition only won 161 seats.

It seems that there is an appetite for change that stretches from Indrala's rural heartlands to its capital elites. Newly elected Prime Minister Abe Chinatsu has promised far-reaching change that makes Yingdala a much more fair and equal nation for its citizens.

November 4867
Former Top Government Officials Arrested for Corruption, Treason, Other Charges
Former leaders of the right-wing party, the National Liberty Party, were sentenced to 53 years in national prison on charges of corruption, bribery, murder in the first degree, treason and other horrendous crimes committed under the leadership of former President Chin.

At the final court hearing in the 10-year long investigation, former President Chin Bo Zheng, former National Liberty Party Chairman Chen Qing Fu and other top officials of the Chin Administration was sentenced this afternoon to serve 53 years in the national prison for corruption, bribery, murder in the first degree, kidnapping, treason, campaign finance fraud, and other charges. Special Prosecutor Qiu Fei, appointed by former Justice Minister Barbara Dickinson before her untimely death, spent the last 10 years investigating the Chin Administration and uncovered a whole array of illegal dealings within the Presidential Palace.

President Chin's spokesperson, Tang Yi, commented at a press conference and stated that the charges were "bogus" and that the former president will "seek an appeal" from the Supreme Court. However, the charges filed are not bogus. In the amicus briefs filed at the court and the documents found during the discovery period, files, photos and voice recordings were found in the Presidential Palace, the homes of those charged as well as in emails, text messages, phone calls, and social media. Special Prosecutor Qiu told the court that more evidence could have been found if it weren't for President Chin acid washing computer servers and documents as shown in the video file with the court of him doing just that.

NLP Chairwoman Hai Hui Yaling told the press that former President Chin and former Chairman Chen "does not represent" the NLP. She even went a step further proclaiming that the 4858 primary election is a prime example of the NLP's dissatisfaction of President Chin and Chairman Chen and that her win is also a prime example. Former Prime Minister and current Opposition Leader Fu Yu Jun told press that he was never involved in those schemes nor did he have any knowledge thereof. Prosecutors investigating Leader Fu stated that no evidence was found of the former Prime Minister's involvement. Whether he had the knowledge or not was not investigated and was ruled out.

Former President Chin and former Chairman Chen will be arrested on December 1st and escorted to prison where they will spend the rest of their lives.

July 4875
Government-Owned International Airport to be Built in Tian'an
In an unprecedented move, His Imperial and Royal Majesty Emperor Yu Xi Gu sent an imperial order to Prime Minister Fu Yu Jun to begin construction of the 'Imperial Yu International Airport in Tian'an, Han province

Image

Tian’an, Han Province — During his weekly meeting with His Imperial and Royal Majesty Emperor Yu Xi Gu, Prime Minister Fu Yu Jun received an imperial order from the Emperor to begin construction of the ‘Imperial Yu International Airport.’ Sources close to the matter has said that the Emperor and Prime Minister have discussed this over the last three years while he was still the Opposition Leader. The plans have been completely drawn out over that period by a conglomerate who was hired to design and construct the airport.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport have been tasked with reviewing and approving the design layout and construction later this month with construction starting at the beginning of August. The airport is estimated to cost around ¥70 billion INS making it the most expensive airport ever built in Yingdala.

While no official plans have been released, the airport is said to be the largest in the country and in the world with 6 civilian lanes and 1 military lane, serving between 100 and 200 million passengers per year, 2 million tons of cargo and 620,000 aircraft movements. The airport is said to generate the government ¥130 billion INS per year.

With the construction of this airport, Yingdala can see an influx in tourist, foreign investment and international trade. As far as we can see it, this is all apart of the plan to making Yingdala an economic superpower once again.
