One of the greatest riches Xsampa has lay not in her natural resources or ideology, nor her wealth but in fact, her land. While proper conservation efforts are yet to be fully enacted, Comrade Tsemo has looked to open up Xsampa to tourism, believing that the nation can benefit, both from allowing citizens of allied states into Xsampa for touring the nations wonders, and witnessing the Xsampan culture. Believing that the Xsampan economy, especially regions where the environment can have more of an affect (ie the mountainous north) can be given a boost from a tourist industry, small as it may be, Comrade Tsemo has opened up Xsampa to tourism from allied states such as Dundorf and Lourenne.
However, despite opening up to tourism, Comrades Tsemo has made sure that lines in the sand are drawn. First and foremost, tourism is to be relegated to the North. Believing that the natural beauty of the northern mountains will be more appealing, alongside the more developed nature of Northern Xsampa, tourists are ultimately relegated to the North. While Metz-Leonid will remain the ideal location for tourists, most of the North will be open for tourists.
The second line drawn has been social regulations. Or rather, an adherence to the unique culture of Xsampa. As is well known by all comrades, it is only proper to address one another as comrade. Unfortunately this is not largely known in the rest of the world, and as such, official guidelines will be provided to ensure tourists know how to properly address each other and locals in Xsampa. Furthermore, for any tourists entering Xsampa, it is strongly discouraged to boast about ones wealth. Lastly, in regards to official guidelines, the ideal language. While the Xsampan language is as dear as the Revolution, it must be admitted that most of the world knows little of it. That is where the secondary language of the nation comes in. Canrillaise. Due to the nature of Canrillaise in Xsampa, it's anticipated to be much easier for Canrille Tourists entering Xsampa compared to non-canrille.
So what can tourists coming into Xsampa expect to see? Well, for starters they can expect to see the nations northern mountain ranges, vast and wide. There, they can sightsee and enjoy the environment of Xsampa. Currently, the People's Committee of Infrastructure and Development is discussing the possibility of utilizing leisure involving the ranges. On the flip side, with urban areas such as Metz-Leonid, tourists can see the unique Xsampan culture, alongside the unique socialist culture. Whether it be touring the governing palace of Metz-Leonid or the bustling streets, Tourists can see the very heart of Xsampa.
It should be worth noting however that tourism is strongly regulated on who can enter the country, with those from allied states such as Lourenne, Dundorf, Statrica and New Verham having little restrictions. Other countries that are not considered allied states however, are formally barred from having citizens enter Xsampan soil. Regardless, it is hoped that opening up to tourism will not only create proper good will, not just between governments but between the people's of Xsampa and her allies, alongside fostering economic growth.
