New Compromise falters, Election conclusive
USA's Shepard new chancellor, IEF gains majority, SCI plurality

MAGRATHEA, June 3094
After years of negotiation, the compromise agreement fell through when the CFP wouldn't moderate on their stance of democratic worker's cooperatives. The fallout between the CFP and FFP happened right before the scheduled elections. The Centred Cabinet Coalition did serve the full term, but had seen little active policy making due to the lack of finishing the compromise. The mastermind behind the proposed accord, USA, suggested to let the election pass before seeing if negotiation must be resumed. Both the RMS and AL also showed disgust at the negotiations. whilst the SCI and DT showed disapproval at the attempt, and at the compromise.

After the election result has come in, it was clear that the IEF bloc had managed to gain a small majority, and meaning that the compromise would not need be reopened for discussions again. IEF would also celebrate a proxy-victory, with the IEF-backed USA candidate, Cdr. Jean Shepard, capturing the Chancellorship from incumbent Leoba Fielding of the RMS and LL. This is the first ever Chancellor-elect for the USA in their entire history. To cap off a historic election, the SCI managed to gain a clear plurality. As a result, new Chancellor Shepard, who had written, and negotiated the compromise the previous term, had now asked the SCI to find a suitable government, recognizing the win of the SCI, the victory of the IEF as well as the fallout of the Compromise. The new cabinet is now being negotiated, with the USA joining the IEF in government.

Early Elections Called Upon
Cabinet regains majority, RMS disappears, CFP gains plurality, Shepard retains chancellorship

MAGRATHEA, September 3100
After years of dwindling political activism, the Rational Marxist Socialists, established in the 2930s, has seemed to disappear from Ikradoni politics. A key member, and part of the leadership of the Leftist League, and a powerhouse of the political centre in Ikradon, the RMS was not going to participate, and the 53 members submitted their resignation, which lead to early elections. Many questions arose, from all sides of the spectrum, and even after the elections. Frowns and sadness filled the Parliament today, as the 53 members from the RMS, left the Parliament, perhaps, never again to return. The future of the RMS is uncertain, and the future of the LL in Ikradon is even more unstable now. With only two parties, the LL has now lost it's grip over the politics in Ikradon, casting huge doubt of LL victory anytime soon. Even with the two parties being the largest 2 parties in Ikradon, they fail the catch a majority by 41 seats. With the LL having limited success over the past 50 years, even with RMS, one has to wonder if the LL will ever capture power by itself.

The early elections, motion by the CFP and held in August, showed several changes in Ikradon. The LL-bloc held a majority before, but were unable to form government, due to the RMS contemplating resignation and inability to function in government with the party's future in shadows. Chancellor Shepard decided to wait out the period until next election, as the DT has failed and taken too long to find a suitable cabinet. The result came in mixed for the DT. The two parties, CFP and DT, both have become the two largest parties in Ikradon, but lost their majority by 41 seats. The minority cabinet held intact during the late 3090s, has once again regained the majority.

Cdr. Jean Shepard of USA also had her first run-off. Her first two terms, she defeated the candidate from the IMC, who chose repeatedly not to support the IEF-backed candidate. The DT and LL did have a candidate last election, the super-veteran Dark Archon Jaroslav Petrovich, who finished first in the first round, but lost in the run-off.
Chancellor Shepard enters her third term as chancellor. During her career, the USA-IEF coalition entered government right after the compromises coalition of the 3070's and 3080's, and the historic and cultural nature of Ikradon is being documented for the first time, with National Holidays being officially passed and Encyclopaedia Ikradonia being created on by all parties. Extensive debates on the chancellorship has also taken place, as well as a new concept called the "coalition voting". On the international front, the Chancellor is currently attending an Artanian Summit in Beluzia. The Chancellor has received 7 awards by the IAN, including 5 during her terms as chancellor.

War on the Border!
Republic of Central Rutania committing genocide on Dorvikians, Ikradonians

MAGRATHEA, July 3107
After an outburst happened at the Artanian Summit, and the situation between Rutania and Dorvik became tense, the Rutanian government expelled former Minister Woodward from government, and all of his party-colleagues. In retaliation, the DRP and it's paramilitary wing, seized and took control of the Province of Floral, which borders Ikradon, and declare it an independent republic, and claiming to have commence genocide against "sub-humans", meaning citizens from socialist-nations, which meant Dorvikians and Ikradonians.

The Government of Rutania has started immediate action, deploying paramilitaries and troops to the region, to try to stop the executions. The Government of Dorvik will also be sending troops to Floral, as well as the Government of Ikradon, with military aid also coming from Beiteynu. Ambassador Shepard, of Ikradon, has contacted Rutania and Dorvik, while also had talks with Beiteynu, about this escalating situation.

Paul Woodward was found to be insane. Ikradon would be sending 500.000 troops to the region, as well as having an extra 500.000 from Beiteynu.

Total War Averted!
DRP halted, Woodward dead, Ikradon and Dorvik halt military action

MAGRATHEA, December 3107
Less than 4 months after Woodward and the DRP/NRF had taken control over Floral, the actions have been halted by the Rutanian government, moments before Dorvik and Ikradon, with the backing of Beiteynu and Keymon, began military actions in Floral. Ikradon had already moved troops on the border area and reportedly in Floral, but retreated back to the border, by the request of the Rutanian Government.

Dorvik has also halted military units heading to the region. Rutania has confirmed capturing Floral back, and also the death of Paul Woodward. All the countries are now discussing the course of actions after the genocide and crime against humanity. Ikradon and Dorvik has called for extreme repercussion, after the death of over 200 Dorvikians and Ikradonians.

Ikradon, Artania on the Brink of War!!
Dundorf army threatens neighbouring countries, including Ikradon

MAGRATHEA, June 3123
Following recent developments around the region, Chancellor Nava addressed the nation about possible threats from Dundorf, and problems around Artania and Macon, including the Darnussian Civil War, which seems to have implicated Dorvik on the left side, and Malivia on the rights side. Another conflict has also arose on Macon, where Hutori and Telamon have gone to war, and where neighbour Rutania has pledge military aid to Telamon.

Following the address, Chancellor Nava and Minister Arterius travelled around Artania to try to avert a possible war, but to no avail. Dundorf has implied that it will use forces, not diplomacy, to solve problems. The fascist party to control of Dundorf over the past few years, establishing a new, one-party totalitarian state. Regional stability is extremely low, and Ikradon is moving to try to stop, or be ready, for an invasion.

Ikradon, Jelbania holding talks after False Genocide claims
Arterius, Kennedy talking diplomacy, cooperation

MAGRATHEA, June 3140
After going on a crusade against Ikradon all around the world, claiming that the Ikradoni government was committing genocide against the religious, Jelbanian officials and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kennedy was invited to Ikradon by Ikradoni Minister of Foreign Affairs Saren Arterius to "see for yourself [Kennedy], that Ikradon is not, as you claim, committing genocide".

President Imran Zakhaev and Minister Ivan Kennedy both was received by Minister Arterius, and held a press conference announcing their arrivals. Ministers Kennedy and Arterius has been holding talks for some time now. Other parties in Ikradon, including cabinet members of the SCI-LSS, reacted hostile to the visit, on the basis of the failed false crusade that Minister Kennedy and his LP party and government of Jelbania had orchestrated.

It is expected that these countries will be swapping ambassadors and embassies.

Early Elections called upon, APC gone
153 seats up for grabs, centrist parties looking to gain

MAGRATHEA, Janurai 3141
After a short revival of the old RMS, turned APC party that rode on the passed success of the RMS, it's seems that the APC membes of Parliament, who all where absent at times of voting, have officially resigned from Parliament. It seems that the APC lacked a leader and being well organised. As such, 153 seats were made empty, an early elections have been called upon. Centrist parties like USA, SDMEP and FFP looks to gain on the upcoming elections, while LL-parties DT, CFP and SCI are also looking to see what the people have thought about their regime and communist agenda.

SDMEP has recently passed a bill to legalise private health clinics, farms and defence industries. The bill was heavily criticized by USA, but passed with the approval of SDMEP, SCI, FFP and BF. This comes after the total nationalisation of the defence industries and health clinics by the DT a few months earlier, having passed with the approval of SCI, CFP and DT, and the abstention of APC making it possible, and with USA again heavily criticizing the bill. The DT bill also banned religion, but only temporarily as CFP immediately proposed and passed a bill to repeal the article, with the support of CFP, FFP, BF, SDMEP and USA.

Motion for New Elections must pass before the scheduled October elections. There will be 750 seats up for election, with 153 of them currently vacant. The BF goes in the election as the plurality holder, as Chancellor Vandenberghe II of DT tries for a fifth consecutive term, and seventh overall in ten elections. He will be at minimum opposed by FFP William Brotha, again. Brotha enjoys the public endorsement of USA, SDMEP and BF, while Vandenberghe II gets support from fellow LL members SCI and CFP.

Chancellor Vandenberghe II re-elected, LL victorious
SDMEP joins LL, propels them to majority

MAGRATHEA, June 3142
After the early elections, it seems that the LL is the ultimate winner, with SDMEP as there new members. SDMEP and CFP propels the LL to victory with 437 seats, a boos of 68 of the CFP, while SCI and SDMEP traded 32, and SDMEP garnering 4 more of them. BF retains plurality, and enlargens it, with 86 more seats than second-place DT, and 74 more than previous elections, ending up with 225 seats, 30% of Parliament.

Chancellor Vandeberghe II of DT defeated Willem Brotha of the FPP, backed by USA and BF, by less than 800.000 votes, less than 1.4%point, with the endorsement of CFP, SCI and flip-flopping SDMEP. USA called out SDMEP for the flip-flopping on them joining the LL, calling it a sad day for the LL, SDMEP and Ikradon. USA Consul Alec Mason also criticised the cabinet composition of the new LL. USA didn't win or lose any seats, and FFP gained 14 while DT gained 3. The LL compromises of the second, third, fourth and fifth placed parties with most seats.

Protests!
Mass protests stems from the Alkon incident

MAGRATHEA, June 3143
Many responded with outrage when the Alkon incident became public. WIN Inc., an established company in the shippin sector, with plants along the Ikran river, is responsible for a leak near Shukras Rossiya in Alkon, that caused thousands of litres of poisonous chemicals to enter the important Ikran River. WIN Inc. went on to further report that such leaks could happen to other plants situated on the Ikran River and the Ikran Lake in Ikradon. WIN Inc. is one of the largest company in the Ikradoni shipping sector.

USA consul and former Minister of Environment & Tourism Alec Mason was disgusted and outraged, and called out the current Steiner Cabinet for their "lax regulation", their recent privatisation and their lack of action. As a result, Mason called for a protest, one which he would organise with the Independent Institute of Environmental Safety & Security, the Aquatic Wildlife Conservation Mouvement and the Alkon Wildlife Protection Organisation, together with his Union Socialism Alliance. An estimated 8000 people protested in Magrathea in front of government buildings and the Parliament, and 2500 showed up a week earlier in front of the WIN Inc. Rossiya Plant. Among the attendees of both protests are USA consul Alec Mason, former Consuls and Chancellors Mec Nava and JeCab Shepard, and former Ministers of Foreign Affairs Shawn Mason and Saren Arterius along other former Ministers Miranda Lawson, Konrad Martin and Dr. Mordin Solus. Former RMS Prime Minister John Wilbur, and Former CFP Ministers Mike Gaines and Karen Gaines were also present at the Magrathea protests, as well as all the members of Parliament of USA.

A counter-protest, organised by former IMC-frontman Luther Jackson, attracted only an estimated 225 people. Jackson argued that if there were less restrictions and regulations, than companies can go corporate and with the extra money spend more on safety. Minister of Environment & Tourism, Stepan Vlarich, stated that the incident still managed to happened even with the restrictions and regulations in place.

Lawson Elected, BF Pulls off Major Victory, ian Formalizes Partnership!
New Chancellor Elected, BF Enhances Plurality

MAGRATHEA, December 3144
The results are in and it seems that Miranda Lawson of USA, supported by BF, FFP and the CFP has defeated former Chancellor Carson Vandenberghe II of the DT and supported by the SCI-LSS and the SDMEP. Lawson got more than 61% of the vote, a total of almost 11.000.000 more than Vandenberghe's 38%. Miranda Lawson promised compromise on some areas, while also trying to fix the budget. Vandenberghe focused on the religion issue, that Lawson subsequently threw out of the issues bin.

In the legislative elections, BF kept on piling up the votes and seats to finish with a distant plurality, with 287 seats, a gain of 59 seats, and finishing with almost 3 times more seats than the next party, the DT with 107, down 32 seats from the last election. The CFP also recorded the biggest loss, a 40 seat drop to finish with 91, fourth overall behind BF, DT and SDMEP's 94 total, itself a 4 seat drop. The SCI-LSS gained 17 to finish with 86, and USA gained 11 to finish with 51. FFP lost 11 to finish as the smallest party with 37.

The results indicate that the LL has managed to hold a slight margin of majority, though it remains to be seen whether the dissenting voice in the LL, the historic CFP, would accept the offer by Chancellor Lawson.

Also, Ikradoni Agency News Administrative Editor, Sean-Robert Clementine, has signed a new cooperation deal and pact with the Information Alternative Nexus and the International Airwaves Network, represented by new I-A-N Chairman ir. Nilhus Kryik and IAN Administrative-Operator Sidney Martin. The Independent, Non-Profit, Non-Governmental, Cooperative Conglomerate headed by Chairman Kryik looks to expand rapidly to provide fair news and good music to all. Chairman Kryik looks to sign on more news outlets from all over Terra, as also trying to acquire Terran Public Radio.
