News reported a shameful defeat. The first battle for National Army ended in defeat.

At 4:00 am, the government planned an operation of taking a hill near Phonix. The troops prepared for the operation was around 1 000, with one artillery, one helicopter, two planes for transport, five tanks and few APCs (military armored and mechanized vehicles). The mission was to capture an important hill that was occupied by FA, FA being reported to deploy around 500 men, with outdated weapons, small AA flak guns, machine guns placed around the hill in small fortifications and barracks. To complicate things, terrorists got hands on rocket launcher and have a small division of snipers, hiding in different bushes and rocks. Other barricades have been prompt up as new trenches have been set up around roads with bobby traps and mines placed on roads.

With this in mind, national army dispatches two military Charter planes to let paratroopers to land, while military regiments where taking down the hill. First APCs and tanks, then soldiers would cover their positions. A piece of artillery will be set to take down enemy positions and fortifications, while a helicopter would attack enemy positions and give details about enemy positions. There were up to five big regiments, Regiment I, Regiment III, Regiment IV, Regiment VIII and Regiment XVI. This regiments were assigned with mission to take the hill near Phonix of approx 500 meters, filled with enemies hiding and waiting for them.

The convoy started at 7:00 to march toward the position, during it's transition, it is surprised by an ambush that was however repealed, but not without victims:
One commander died, other 7 soldiers were wounded and a vehicle was damaged and could not continue the route. Terrorists attacked but lost around 17 men and other wounded on battlefield. The two Charter planes let paratroopers with success on the battlefield, landing straight on the enemy positions and bunkers. However they are quickly surrounded by the enemy and isolated.

The next move five minutes later on the battlefield (while convoy was ambush), terrorists take down the helicopter with one of the rocked launchers, while tanks started their road alongside APCs to create a breakthrough between the enemy lines, entering small villages near Phonix. The problem began with malfunctions at one of the tank followed by snipers targeting vulnerable soldiers. One of the tank exploded while it activated one of the anti-tank mines. The chaos emerged. The fight for life began while soldiers where scattered and not knowing where to head. Another small commander died.

Few hours later, paratroopers died, over 65 of them, without ammunition, being killed with grenades and machine guns, those who surrendered were quickly killed without mercy. As for the convoy has finally reached the hill, but pushing up took many lives, over 167 soldiers died or were found wounded, as for terrorists, over 265 died on the battlefield and more were left wounded on the battlefield. The tanks and APCs had to retreat as they were targeted by an regiment of terrorists, another tank being destroyed, one left behind as not working and other two APCs have been greatly damaged and with over 15 men dying and other 2 wounded. The retreat was necessary as they were surrounded by enemies.

For the convoy reaching the top was a defeat, the enemy well prepared positions with barricades, trenches and forts made the convoy impossible to forward as they would have had to many casualties. The finale of the battle was ended with artillery fire but inefficient, taking too few important targets.

The end resulted in over 350 dead men and other 100 wounded for National Army while terrorists lost around 325 men and over 50 wounded. The casualties were higher for National Army, but the army announces that it will change tactic and it will bombard the hill with artillery and airplanes, while the land army will surround it, snipers will be called in to help also take down important positions. Helicopters will be advised to be more prudent, while paratroopers will be better dropped officials say. This is not a clear defeat or that National Army cannot do the job, but rather the surprise of the terrorists being well prepared and the first combat experience for National Army. Some blame also the commanders and the suicidal unplanned mission of taking a hill without further preparations.

HVP condemns government for inaction

Kien, Hulstria - HVP Chairman Heinz von Kufkirchen has condemned the government after a series of defeats by the "National Army" against the alleged terrorist group the "Fascist Alliance"; HVP Party Secretary for Defense and Security Affairs Eckhart von Mausee zu Eberwerder noted that the attacks carried out were against an inferior enemy. "The National Army and the Hulstrian and Gao-Showan Armed Forces as a whole are in a pitiful state, a well organized milita is vastly superior to our current armed forces. We've allowed one of the few superpowers in Terran history to be reduced to a weak, ineffective state that does not even have the capabilities to defend itself. I am glad to see that citizens across the country are arming themselves for threats domestically and potentially foreign. The defeat of the National Army in its first outing against this alleged terrorist group is a shame. It shows that the government has further ruined itself and has further destroyed their capabilities to govern." The HVP has published a 25 point program to restore the Imperial Armed Forces and have provided numerous examples of history, both domestic and foreign.

The Imperial Landwehr which has been dispatched to several locations throughout Hulstria and Gao-Soto in order to protect HVP party officials and assist local governments in search and rescue operations or other emergency response operations. Vice Chairwoman of the HVP Alexandra von Walsheim-Wolfsweg and Party Secretary for Interior Affairs noted that the "Interim Administration" (Hulstrian: Interimsverwaltung) that has been formed by the HVP members who have been approached to assist in operations of a dozen or more smaller towns and cities throughout the country. While the HVP has maintained their critique of the central government, they have announced that they will continue to work towards democratic elections despite the attempts taken by the National Liberal Party and their government to hamper democratic efforts. "We will continue to resist any attempt to outlaw parties, hamper democratic efforts or otherwise infringe upon the democratic heritage of our peoples."

National Army first win
After the army was restructured under new leadership things changed.

The army reports a victory, reconquering the hill after serious reorganization and new leader.

The commander in charge was discarded and replaced with a new commander, Reiner Schur, who prepared army for the win. To understand changes and victory we will explain events like this, first going for tactics and then reorganization.

The tactic used last time proved fatal and let lots of casualties, however the army adopted a new tactical system of deploying troops, conquering positions and reducing levels of casualties. The old one proved bad as it pushed people toward assured death, this time the army will be more reserved and will do more recon and bombarding operations. First, soldiers will surround the whole hill and try to surround the hill with its enemy. Then there will be heinous bombardments over the position from the artillery and airplanes, few bombers and then destroy as much as possible the fortresses. Then the first front goes in front and clears the patch of bombs, traps and possible enemies that can destroy tanks. Then tanks and other armored vehicles roll in and push alongside the soldiers covering the back and giving support fire. While the push is made, paratroopers are dropped on ways that end the supply line and the possibility of retreat, also they will spawn in more reasonable positions, near the front but in the back of it, creating proper shock effect to the enemy troops. Also snipers will supervise the situation with choppers to detect and eliminate possible snipers. The war will be carried in a guerilla style, one house at a time and a close combat mentality, soldiers being prepared to be ready to shot as fast as they can and follow orders. Also the regiments are reordered in smaller ones that are more mobile and can operate multiple actions based on a formula of 10 people, one commander, machine gun man, supplier and the rest is a classical soldier. This formation gives more mobility and is more adapted to the modern style of combat, house-to-house.

Now that tactics are explained the change is too. After the humiliating defeat the commander was changed with Reiner Schur, he reformed not only tactics and mentality but boosted morality and prepared well the troops. First he used the artillery first and more accurately positioned it. It gave paratroopers proper equipment and proper deployment. The new commander also reformed the style of combat. The commander adapted a more modern style of fighting, with a commander in chief of the small commando, while also arming them proper. He also used more soldiers in the operation, with more tanks, APCs and aircraft. The new commander, Reiner Schur, assured that the army is proper ready changing the mentality of soldiers when fighting and give them proper training and tactics to follow. They got also a boost in morality, he risking life fighting alongside his soldiers. The courage and inspiration made the first victory for National Army.

The National Army dispatched around 3 000 troops to operate under the new commander. Included where 10 pieces of artillery, 10 tanks, 25 APCs, 5 choppers, 2 bombers and 2 recon airplanes. The dispatch fought against 1 000 terrorists with basic guns, few snipers, few with Anti-tank guns, three vehicles and some forts, barracks, watchtowers and trenches. Also some handmade mines.

The action begun in 2:00 am with the encirclement pushed by NA(National Army) taking position. Until then artillery is deployed. The paratroops are prepared and two recon planes fly above. However the mission goes bad as enemy somehow knew the movements of encirclement. The terrorists took sides to defend the current strongholds. Artillery fire starts. After one hour, the soldiers are waiting hides to act. Meanwhile bombers bomb the surroundings, while snipers take down enemy ones. Most of the troops are moved back and divergence is created. The initial attack is cancelled and army moved south. The frontline evolves, with troops clearing way for tanks.

After two hours, over 100 terrorists are killed, several barracks and forts destroyed and terrorists start retreating. But not before letting a thin defence line to slow down enemies. The bombarding stops. Army pushes forward and captures the hill with over 40 deaths and wounded. However, due to new strategy, terrorists lose over 500 and retreating. Paratroopers where deploying and now are ready to ambush. Over 200 terrorists were captured. The battle went for 40 mins more before the hill was cleared.

The casualties were huge for terrorists with over 700 deaths, more wounded and over 100 captured. They lost also some HQ and equipment. The specialists will now interrogate and research the new documents. However civilian loss was also counted to over 20 dead or wounded people. Material damages were also high. Some speculate this tactic destroy amd kill too many civilian, however the state ensures warning for people to leave some areas under police supervision. Also the government plans to help devastated locals.

The government will plan also to completely surround the main city of Phonix and began huge preparations. Isolating it, then surrounding it, bombarding and then final clearance.

New info about the terrorists
The police discovers new details regarding the FA.

The police announces news about the terrorists. They will present the origin of the FA, then the people who planned the bomb attacks and what is their leader. Other inside info is found out by intelligence agencies.

The organization had a mysterious past. Not long ago, the police did not know with what they were dealing. However research in the archives of the totalitarian gay regime showed results. Secret files recording the activities of the organization and the arrests upon them. The document is old and filled with years, names and operations. The history for this will be presented.

Reading from the file some of the ideas:
"The Fascist Alliance is a political organization that has a target promotion of right-wing values, especially fascist and conservative values. The organization was founded in 4538 as a movement in Hulstria, expanding all across the country. [...] At first they where peaceful, but then they had a history filled with past incidents regarding illicit actions like violent protests, attacking LGBT people, hate speech, vandalism against monuments, buildings and others. [...] During the new glorious gay regime, the organization continued activity, however it was closed down and its members, around 20 000, arrested. The arrested members where deported in prisons and persecuted. The remaining hid from the state. The rest suffered harsh punishments for their actions against gay regime."

This was on the time when the gay regime was in the leadership, the document attests the existence of a fascist movement called Fascist Alliance long before they come to power, the alliance growing in popularity and starting as well to be a troublemaker. During the authoritarian regime, it almost died of as the government arrested its members and tortured in the political prisons. However, at the collapse of the regime, the state did not managed the new changes very well, the law changing brusque to allowing all political detains to be freed, no matter the risks. This measure was proven fatal. The survivors of the horrific conditions packed alongside the FA again and rebuilt it. In few years they will have reached a new level of power, planning terrorist attacks. Terrorists then started to make their own revolution. A document during gay regime attests also their existence by showing clearly a mission to arrest members of the so called "Fascist Alliance":
"During 4542 the government has adopted an emergency procedure of coordinating mission Firewall by arresting all known members of the Fascist Alliance, as they are deemed to pose a threat to the public and the ideals of Gay Liberation. As such, at 9:00 pm a dispatch of policemen searched and arrested over 20 000 people, the caught men where quickly handled by the law enforcement, accusing them of betrayal and endangering the safety of the nation. Their sentence is up to ten years of harsh punishments in one of the state-owned prisons"

Also a document attesting a young man arrested:
"Raphael Stassen, 19 years, living in Phonix, arrested for suspicious activity deemed dangerous. Member and activist in the Fascist Alliance, accused of acts of betraying the nation through sabotaging the revolutionary government through spreading wrong ideals and rejecting the philosophy of GLM. At 5 am in his house, police found him and seized him up. His departure is set five hours later for one of the political prisons in Hilgar."

Other news from police found out who where the terrorists in the attack with bombs, 1 July 4552. The three kamikaze where found to be originating from Hulstria and to have different backgrounds.

The first was Claus Hofstetter, a young man of 25 years with a flourishing company. What happened shock the world. Recently he was involved in suspicious organizations like Fascist Alliance. On 1 July, he takes the metro toward Kien. People from there did not known the threat and soon an explosion was provoked by his bomb killing dozen of people and injuring others. The young man is to be said that had a happy life. His orientations where always more conservative, during gay regime he was documented as a possible threat and almost arrested, luckily they considered is not a threat since his political activity was minimal.

The second was Ruprecht Mannheim, responsible for the death of over 10 people, committing suicide in the middle of the crowd. The young man of 21 years, came from a poor family from Hilgar. He had a normal life and after the observation made by the gay regime, he was not a threat neither a suspect of heinous actions. However on 1 July he blows himself up in the middle of the crowd, taking over 10 people with him.

The last one was Tobias Dehnert, a poor and depressed man of 40 years, living in a small suburb area outside of Kien. In the past he had some trouble with justice, but after the regime fell, he joined FA and then joined diverse suspicious actions like terrorists attacks. On 1 July he did the extreme. He joined a scholar bus that was heading for school. After 40 mins a bang is heard, the bus explodes killing children and teachers. The explosion was so strong it killed and injured other people and damaged cars and buildings. A small fire started but was quickly stopped.

The leader of the organization had been found out. Rolf Enzenauer is a thirty years old man that is recognized in the past to be arrested and detained for sabotages and other illicit actions. The government arrested him as "reactionary, fascist and hateful, filled with determination". In prison he survived and exited as fast as the regime fell, being again the non-official leader. Despite the organization has no clear leader, he was one of the most important ones, having great influence and power, controlling huge parts of the organization. On 1 July the organization planned several bomb attacks, declaring officially war to the government. Protesters attacked gays and police officers. The decision to make a guerilla war with the current government seemed the right decision, as such he ordered the conquering of the Phonix city. On 25 February, 4552, he was spotted retreating with one of the regiment. He was last seen north to Phonix. Police declared him as outlaw and who can help is asked to give info. He is tall, blond, with blue eyes. Other details are not known.

The police found him being arrest during gay regime:
"At 8 pm, 4546, January the third, he was found as a traitor, sabotaging the revolution and the government, putting in danger people. The young man of 20 years, Rolf Enzenauer was found out as traitor, acting against the state and people's safety by trying to arm a small militia and selling banned books. Alongside others he held secret meetings. As such he was finally incarcerated at 10 pm and accused of betrayal and accused of spreading of hateful speech. He was closed in one of the biggest prisons in Kien."

Police found out even more shocking news. In the recent terrorists actions, socialist and communist supporters were found out secretly supporting the violent actions. Some of them were caught sending them guns, ammunition and resources like capital, vehicles. Others committed crimes against the state under the ban of FA. They were found out supporting a revolutionary action alongside the FA one, some of them supporting the terrorists. This shocking new information tells the truth. Socialist and communist organization were found out acting against the interest of the people and nation, using this moment to try to overthrow the state through violent protests and other terrorist actions like bombs. During the beginning of fascist aggressive attacks with bombs, several crowds of communists. far-left, socialists come together in the front of the Diet and protested violently. However that protest was quickly repelled despite Molotov cocktails were thrown in to the policemen.

As for this, police is starting to search properties for possible suspects and start infiltrating in to the network. More documents are inspected as police is patrolling high-risk areas.

Phönix, Hulstria - Hulstrian People's Party leadership was joined by local HVP leadership in condemning the indiscriminate bombing conducted by the Hulstrian "National Army". This bombing which resulted in scores of civilian casualties and included the deaths of several HVP members, was attacked and images shared with the International Press, a consortium of news agencies that publish stories world wide. The HVP condemned the attack and noted that the government had once again damaged and destroyed scores of civilian properties, had killed innocent civilians in the quest for hunting an organization that has experts baffled in Hulstria and Gao-Soto. International terrorism experts have remained skeptical about the financial and material support that the so-called "Fascist Alliance" have received and have cited several sources that show that the government is likely supporting or using the Fascist Alliance as a pretext to attempt to crackdown on democracy within the failed state of Hulstria and Gao-Soto.

HVP Party Secretary for Defense and Security Affairs Eckhart von Mausee zu Eberwerder noted that the alleged re-organization of the "National Army" is a scam pandered by the government to attempt to shore up support for their failing regime. "The alleged "reorganization" is nothing but a failed attempt by the central government to lie and swindle the people to think that they are safe under this undemocratic, fascist regime."

Hulstrians organize a self-defense in the mountains
February, 4553

Schnee-Berg Mountains - An announcement came from the mountain areas of Hulstria, Mitrania and some eastern regions of Budenlar that several mountain rifle guilds have formed self-defense units known as the Gebirgsschützen (Luthorian: Mountain Riflemen; sing. Gebirgsschütze). These self-defense units are in response to encroaching chaos that has been brought on by government instability. The Gebirgsschützen are joined by the Standschützen which have existed for centuries since their foundation in the 15th and 16th century. These units exist mostly in the Schnee-Berg Mountains that split a majority of Western Dovani and the former Imperial Crownland, now a strong independent state of Ostland. These units are mostly equipped with small arms and are organized into small units, limited information about their size, order of battle or composition is available.

Thursday 4th June, 4553

The National Army obtained an important victory in the last battle. The last battle is to be awaited as National Army plans a new tactic to attack terrorists.

3:00 pm 1st June, 4553, the National Army starts operations of surrounding the city. The army has at its disposal about 25 000 troops, 40 APCs, 25 tanks, 4 choppers, 1 bomber, 1 transport plane with over 50 paratroopers, 12 artillery pieces and other equipment. The army had surrounded the city in over 2 hours, controlling all the streets and possible escape routes. As this will be able to go to the second step.

7:00 National Army is evacuating all the people until 3rd June. People are announced to leave the city. However not all escaped as some people have been taken hostages by the FA and kept under strict protection. FA took over 100 people in a local bank and threatened that the people will be executed if National Army attacks terrorists. However the National Army realizes it cannot save everyone and that the mission has to go further or else more people will die anyway. The faster terrorists are killed, the faster the war ends and less casualties are made. Even if people will die in bombardments or buildings destroyed, other ways do not exist. The longer terrorists survive, the longer the panic it is created and the bigger casualties will be. A quick war is essential to rehabilitate the nation.

The army finishes by 4th June to evacuate most of people and surround the city. The next step is to prepare the artillery pieces and airplanes to bombard the city, but not too many. Too many damages could cost a lot to be repaired. After a short barrage on enemy positions, the front line will march clearing the path for tanks and APCs. Then the other soldiers are pushing in and clearing and supporting the main army. Some soldiers will be let outside to ensure nobody escapes encirclement.

On 5th June, the army shall start applying the plan. Terrorists are suspected to hold over 3500 personnel.

NLP abandons the Cabinet

Shocking news are heard as the old party, NLP announces its collapse.

After recent events, terrorists attack, mistakes in preventing and eliminating the issues, other issues regarding decisions for Budget, bold decisions regarding international relationships and that the old regime suspiciously survived through the old members. Because of the gay regime, many have suffered, however nothing has been done against those. As such, today, 30th June, the members of NLP announces that they will resign and they will be soon replaced by a new party. All the Cab members resigned as well, as the king passed his crown to his husband. This changes are made as a result of the recent events and internal turmoil. The old incapacitated government will be soon replaced by a new one, without the past shame and terror of the regime and the echoes of the GLM.

The country was never really changed since the collapse of gay regime. The country did little to improve. Everywhere there were still gay flags, in schools children were thought to respect LGBT, especially homosexuals. Books and other documents with anti-gay message was still somehow reduced to silence or found a reason to ban it. Hate speech against gays was repressed and protesters that expressed ideas against GLM still disbanded. Other ideas why this continued is the government subsidizing VerrucktProject and still taking a stance on protecting homosexuality.

However, 30th June, the time has come for the party NLP to renounce to power and its members from government to leave. The decision was taken by the king itself. Despite a constitutional monarchy now, the king intervened despite protocols and declared that he will resign and he will force the current government to do as well. The decision was shocking but it was necessary he thought. A new fresh start without the old elites that provoked the bloody regime that took Gao-Soto and Hulstria on a dark path. The new government will announce new policies and a change in decisions.

HVP mulls accepting coalition and early election
September 4553

Kien, Hulstria - The Hulstrian People's Party spoke earlier today outside of its party offices and noted that the HVP would be amenable to a tenuous coalition with the newly named "Liberal Progressive Party". HVP leadership was noted that the government resigned and the former National Liberal Party changed into the Liberal Progressive Party. Despite this obvious change, many supporters within the HVP are skeptical but are interested in proper governance and the HVP feels that they are the the right group for the "righting the ship" and installing a proper regime. While the HVP maintains that the monarch, the husband of the outgoing monarch is a step to a proper Hulstrian monarch, they feel that someone else would be better suited to be the Emperor of Hulstria and working to build a consensus with the Gao-Showan community for its own leadership.

The recent changes in the government composition announced new reforms. As the old party collapsed under the heinous past of the HSP/HLP and its gay regime, the new party, LPP brought a new way of politics, better politics axed on coordination, prosperity and understanding, not on fear, repulsiveness or destruction. As the old party, NLP, could not rise from the shackles of the past, of the gay regime, continuing secretly to push GLM ideals and devastating the nation, the truth comes out as the NLP tried to justify ban on parties through profiting from a bad situation. They were also accused of not truly abolishing Gay Liberationist ideals, still silently and subtle perpetuated in the country and having bad decisions on trying to arrest opposition, attack a harmless militia, dispatching and managing the army poorly and other big mistakes.

The old king realized is time for change, as such he abolished the old Cabinet and change the party representatives. He also abdicated giving to Hoorn, his husband, the power. This measures alongside better control of the army, amnesty with the other party and democratic changes gave him a better reputation despite the past. He promised that he will continue so if he wont be prosecuted for past crimes under the gay regime and other bold decisions. He considers that current decisions and in the past regarding abolition of the regime and ensuring democracy and constitutional democracy were key to evolving Hulstria and Gao-Soto in the right direction. He also thinks that the country had also evolved under his rule, achievements like better economy, upgrading the army, helping poor people, starting various government projects and finally, reducing the discrimination against gays, Gao-Soto ranking (except recent events) in one of the top most gay-inclusive nations in the world. An opinion poll was held after the collapse of the regime and gave over 90% people accepting gays in society, with over 67% accepting the idea of same-sex marriage and the right of gay couples of adopting.

The new king was proposed to come to power on February 4554, as soon as this happens, the king announced from time that he will be more liberal and the nation will be better. He regrets that his spouse was not a proper leader, however he will promise that in the short mandate as king of the nation he will be a model of a better king, democratic, listening, understanding and promoting stability and unity, just as his husband wanted.
