Military takes control of Ntoto, Brings Ntoto out of Isolation!

General Lafi Ogoo and the military have taken control of the Democractic Republic of Ntoto after a coup d'etat that occurred against former president Nicholas Vandershaff. The General has called Ntoto to come together as a nation during this time under his leadership and that his party has taken all of former president's Vandershaff's party seats. The former President has fled the country after warrants for his arrest have been released. General Ogoo has already set up a cabinet of some of Ntoto's finest military leaders and grilled the former governments isolationist attitude. The following speech was held on National Television and some of the transcript will be translated here

Greetings Friends,
Today is a new day for Ntoto, today the evils of the past are gone today Ntoto will open up its borders and will engage in worldwide politics, we are a small overlooked nation but we will God willing grow into a prosperous country. I will lower taxes to 2% for the nation and I will begin the nationalization of industry in Ntoto temporarily until we will be able to start having an economy once again. I have abolished the 43% corporate tax rate and have initiated permanent 10.3% tax rates in Ntoto, some of the lowest in all of Terra, companies will come to Ntoto, they will come with jobs, opportunities and chances at a better life. We need help friends and I am going to work for you to build up Ntoto's military but also help the starving, the poor and the downtrodden in this country. As nations bask in glory only south of us we are Starving! No more. The nations that overlook us will pay the ultimate price. Ntoto will rise, rise from the desert like a pouncing cat and will strike the country that dares overlook us. We can do this friends, we will get out of a poverty, cartel ridden, crime infested state, we will clean out government and put a new fresh one in. Today is a new horizon and let us march forward into history and into glory!

Ntoto Nationalizes Major Industry, Fixes Badly Damaged Infrastructure and Starts New Infrastructure Projects

The Ntoto government has taken actions to build up the struggling Ntoto economy following many years of isolation and civil war. Many industries have been put into government nationalization. This includes corporations that provide power to the country and many essential services that have been in neglect and disrepair. The government has also nationalized major food companies in Ntoto as well in an attempt to give citizens clean, safe food to eat. The private sector in Ntoto has always been corrupt and lacking and now the Government has taken action to help the people of Ntoto. CEO's and civilians are still owners of the companies but their operations have been seized by Government officials especially the Department of Health which has spearheaded this campaign.

The National Assembly has also approved Government plans of rebuilding infrastructure in Ntoto by having paved roads become widespread throughout Ntoto, also train lines will be fixed and more routes are expected to be made in the near future. As roads are essential to national security for the nation roads will be rebuilt especially those prone to flooding. The movement of military personal and cars is essential to the nation as it is still developing. Business owners are getting compensation for the time that their business are nationalized and they will be receiving government pension as well. Projects like Airports and other kinds of major projects are being planned but essential road paving and other work to that extent are more important to the Ntoto Government.

Ntoto to establish closer relations with Dundorf!!

Dundorf and Ntoto have signed a mutual cooperation agreement tonight. This marks Ntoto's first stroll into international bonds for some time. Dundorf and Ntoto will have a free trade agreement and foreign cooperation which will include the creation of embassies in both nations from each other. For Ntoto this marks a new market of supplies to go into the nation. This will lower costs on supplies however from coming from such a long ways this may not improve the economy too much. Ntoto's Foreign Minister-General Momodu Conateh said in a statement,

This deal marks a new horizon for Ntoto. We are reaching out to other continents and other cultures and other nations in peace and friendship. This deal will help both Dundorf and Ntoto grow off of each other and build a long lasting friendship for years to come. I am proud to declare that the Dundorf and Ntoto friendship to be started under my leadership as foreign minister. Countries like Vascania and Deltaria should take heed and do this kind of friendly diplomacy. Unlike them Ntoto does not kill others, we work through diplomacy and with other nations to achieve international cooperation and understanding. Vascania and Deltaria's way of thinking is dying, we will achieve greatness

Liore and Ntoto announce Major Economic, Military and Diplomatic Alliance

For the second time in a month, Ntoto has announced another major trade deal this time with Liore. The two nations are similar and have come from similar backgrounds. For Ntoto this marks a major step and a major chance at development. Liore has a major market and a growing economy and they have been the leading security council member for Dovani for many years now. Liore is also a stable power in the region and has stayed out of the Rapa Pile war which has seen Vascania and Deltaria become some of the most hated nations in all of Terra. For Ntoto the choice was clear. Become friends with a nation that shares mutual interests and is not involved in a pointless, life killing war. Foreign Minister-General Momodu Conateh spoke at length about this topic saying

Liore is a natural friend to Ntoto. We share similar values, we care about safety and sovereignty in all of Terra and especially Dovani and we do not want to see Dovani get taken advantage of. I am proud to declare this new alliance between the Democractic Republic of Ntoto and the Socialist State of Liore. We both strive to protect each other and to help Dovani prosper into the future together. For too long Dovani has suffered from outside influences and Ntoto and Liore will strive to make this not happen in the future.

This deal will open up our market to Liore and the rest of Terra and we will get Liore business coming to Ntoto. Our country needs business and we are a blossoming country with a stable government. Mutual defense will also be key, Ntoto has been worried about invasion especially since the start of the Rapa Pile conflict. Seeing a nations get taken advantage of by an imperialistic power and get taken against its will is just sickening. Seeing people die in Rapa Pile is just sickening. That could have been Ntoto, our people could have been the ones killed. We seek protection from a nation that we trust and in due time when our country grows we will be able to support out ally Liore in a mutual defense agreement. We also will begin to start a technology sharing program so out best scientists can work together in friendship and we will be able to tackle problems that on our own we could not solve. Friendship and trade and diplomacy works and Ntoto is taking the steps necessary to become a country that looks to the future. Unlike nations like Vascania and Deltaria that focus on the now, we focus on the future and we are looking there everyday because Dovani is the future and we will be apart of it!

Ntoto has had a rocky history it is not a secret. As civilians are just trying to get by, they resort to methods like scamming. This involves promising money transactions in exchange for smaller monetary sums given to these same people. The Ntoto Government would like to be transparent on this issue and have sent out warnings to many western countries involved and many more countries that have been targeted. The Ntotan Judicial
General Alansana Secka has made a statement about these scammers saying

The Government of Ntoto would like to warn the international community for Ntotoan Prince Scammers. First off I would like to note that Ntoto is a Republic and that we have no monarchy here. So please do not listen to these scammers that promise great riches if you help them with a wire transfer. They will only scam you. Her in Ntoto we are beginning outreach programs to help young men stay away from scamming but in the mean time this is a serious threat to many people including the elderly so please do not listen to Ntoto Princes, we are not a monarchy, we do not ask for money. Do not get suckered in to their schemes.

Kabiru Kandeh Self Proclaimed Opposition Socialist Leader Says "Government Needs to be Changed"

Speaking outside an ancient marketplace in the middle of the city of Mitinkutiu a city filled with rich history and culture and us known for its marketplaces and a key trade route for many years. A rally of supporters gathered around Kabiru Kandeh a self proclaimed socialist and "leader of the opposition", he claimed that the government is failing Ntoto and that they should go back to isolation. In his speech he said

Ntoto started here, in Mitunketiu a trading hub for all of Dovani, but we were taken advantage of by the Western World. We got take advantage of and we became a colony. Yes comrades we were taken over by the evil that is Luthori! The most vile country in Terra had the audacity to take us over. Ntoto is falling into that trap once again. We cannot trust the West. They are not to be trusted! We must abolish this regime! We must establish a democracy and keep Ntoto of world politics.

Despite his message falling flat for most Ntoto citizens as polls show support for the new government and for international trade and dealings, there are still a hefty minority that wants to keep Ntoto in isolationism. Will this movement grow? It is still too early to tell.

Kiego to get Internet, Liore and New Ntoto Company Labo Internet Inc to Install the Necessary Infrastructure.

An announcement in Kiego today laid the groundwork for the entire capital city of Ntoto to have high speed broadband internet. Kiego is now an emerging international hub of trade and commerce but Internet access is still something that is deeply lacking. This hurts the city's potential and keeps traders and businessmen away. With these considerations in mind, a new internet company Labo Internet has teamed up with Liore officials to spread broadband internet across the capital.

We are pleased to be able to offer internet services soon to Kiego. We have spent many months coordinating with both Ntoto and Liore officials and we will be able to begin work soon. This is only the beginning of our dream where all of Ntoto has internet access like many countries today. It is important for Ntoto's future and for Dovani as a whole so I believe that this will change our country for the better!

Kiego, the largest city in Ntoto, located in the heart of the country of the shores of Lake Ochootingo, the city has been the center of Ntotoian life for many, many centuries. Kiego has for most of it's history the city and Ntoto as a whole has been isolated. However with the new regime in charge, Kiego has transformed into the heartbeat of Ntoto as the nations slowly grows. Kiego is devolving a middle class something that Ntoto has lacked for all of its history and for these people it sparks a new life and new opportunities for living life more comfortable life. Cheaper products from Liore and the west have also made products in Ntoto cost less and thus the quality of life increase and a cheaper cost of living as well is cheaper. Kiego has been for many years untapped for countries and for business and now the city is teeming with Several sectors of the city are growing as electricity and wifi/internet are now fully available inside the city. The city has grown much faster than the rest of Ntoto and today this article will explain the recent and developing sectors of the economy of Kiego and the meanings they have for Ntoto.

Trade:
Kiego is becoming a trade city in Ntoto. Products come and are shipped to the port city of Koutiadougou where many docks and port facilities are located, they then travel up the Nalboo River to Lake Ochootingo and to Kiego. Farm supplies and farming products are flooding the city along with raw materials coming from the Eastern Desert regions. This has caused the trade industry in the city to boom as goods and services cut through to Utembo by land instead of around Dovani to the south by sea. This industry will continue to rise in popularity as this sector gains more and more prominence.




Fashion and Arts:

With the rise of the middle class and the rise of wealth in Kiego and Ntoto the rise of the arts and fashion have followed close behind. The newly built Ntotoan, Bluewater Arts College has provided many with a opportunity to have lives devoted to the arts and fashion. Ntoto and its many peoples are colorful and this fashions and art style is largely untapped. The Zimudar tribes along the Nalboo River are known for their colorful dress while the nomadic Tabni-ishtar are known for wearing blue to keep out the heat from the desert. These people, their culture and language are known here in Ntoto but are seemingly unknown in the rest of Terra. The arts and fashion students beginning their degrees are providing a bright and colorful future for Ntoto.


The regionally famous Tabni-ishtar tribe wears blue to deflect the sun's rays, artists are beginning to start to tap into this fashion and many others across Ntoto.

Tax Haven:

Since lowering taxes when taking office in 4861, General-President Ogoo has lured many major corporations to Ntoto to provide a safe place from high taxes. This tax haven has been a controversial move but has provided Keigo with many more high rises. These businesses are giving jobs to Ntotoans and giving many people safe, stable jobs in large corporations. This has certainly been another large factor to the rise of Keigo as a city that is growing quickly in Dovani. The city is becoming slowly more and more vibrant and colorful and this is a good omen to the rest of Ntoto as a whole.

Government Cracks down on Military Deserters

The Ntotoan Army has conducted several programs designed on stopping traitors and deserters. In recent months, the military has retrained many units to better educate them on math and many other fields. This is so that they can have success outside of the military and encourage them to stay in the military. However new stricter consequences for deserters have been put into place. A minimum sentence for a deserter is a 6 month sentence and a loss of pension later in life. A maximum sentence for a traitor is the death penalty. This sentence being for the worst offenders. For Ntoto this helps the military organize and weeds out those that are not loyal to Ntoto.

For Ntoto the unity of patriotic Ntotans will lead this country on to greatness and the government is doing what it can to keep Ntotoans loyal in the military. For Ntoto this is a great sign of unifying a broken nation towards a new united future!
