16 Cabinet Ministers Arrested for Treason,

Shocking news out of the Government tonight as 16 cabinet ministers, almost 80% of Ntoto's cabinet have been arrested on charges of treason. The conspirators were detained peacefully and President Ogoo under the direct authority of President Ogoo. The cabinet ministers have been sent to the State Jail on the outskirts of Kiego and put under solitary confinement. The Government was given a anonymous tip last week about a plot to overthrow President Ogoo, and when they were at a meeting this morning members of the State Guard arrested them. They have all served Ntoto with honor and faithfully however the Government thinks otherwise. These developments are troubling to say the least and for Ntoto it marks the beginning of maybe tighter control by the current president. The promise of free elections he said would come soon in a statement to Ntoto tonight he said

You may be wondering what happened today. This I will tell you. 16 or so members of my government conspired to kill me, next week at the National Parade. This attempt on my life has shaken me to my core. The Rebellious Rebellion has been foiled! The remaining conspirators will be hunted down, and defeated! The attempt on my life has left me scarred and deformed, but I assure you my resolve has never been stronger! Today the tables have turned, Ntoto has defeated the coup and we will not look back. I assure you justice on these evildoers will be served,

Those words by the President were shocking and somewhat poetic. As Ntoto looks to stabilize and grow in power and resolve. The President is set to lead the country forward, now the country will watch as the trial for the treasonists begins.

Cabinet Ministers Sentenced To Death By Beheading, Event Televised Across Ntoto!!!

After a 1 month trial done by the Ntotan National Court, the court sentenced the 16 cabinet ministers to death. They were found guilty of trying to plot the death of the President and a plot of blowing up the Capital Building. The evidence was put forth by the Ntotoan National Intelligence Agency under the command of General Mamadi Jawara a close associate to President Ogoo. The trials saw all 14 men plead innocent and only 2 plead guilty, however this was enough to find all of them guilty. The judge who will not be named at this time sentenced the men to death by beheading, beheading was the method of choice used for the Luthorians when Ntoto was a colony of theirs.

These men were then sent to Elonta Army Base and given a last meal of their choice, 10 choose to eat nothing, one ate lamb and the other 5 ate normal prison food. They were then marched out into a courtyard and beheaded, all of this was streamed online and over the main channels in Ntoto Television. The 16 condemned men were silent during the ordeal as guards and government workers watching in interest.

Today justice has been served, today the evildoers of Ntoto have been dealt with. Anymore threats to Ntoto will be dealt with similarly, for too long we have suffered as slaves under the claws of Luthori and others. We will not fall, we will only grow and become more powerful. Ntoto is a country full of promise but these men tried to stop this. They were traitors and dealt with accordingly, they say me as unfit to govern and their opinions were wrong and dangerous. These kind of threats must be dealt with with brute force. We are sending a message to the country, if you try to interfere with Ntoto you will end up like these fools. Ntoto will endure and Ntoto will survive this. This is for the good of Ntoto, we must keep a stable government for out future generations.

Pro Democracy Protests Explode All Over Ntoto - Protesters Break Into Government Buildings, Demand Change!!!!

Exactly one year after the beheading of the Ntoto cabinet, over 4 million pro-democracy protesters have taken to the streets of Ntoto demanding change. The protesters are calling for Ogoo's head and many are demanding election to take place immediately. Protesters have stopped work and the Ntoto economy has crashed. Ogoo has been quiet during this time and his forces have stayed surprisingly quiet. However this did not stop the angry citizens, in places, bread and other supplies have been halted. The country is at a standstill as people clog major roadways, airports and town squares.

This all began as a peaceful demonstration outside the Capital building. It began as a women's march holding signs that said "Do not behead us" or "Do not behead democracy" however both the Ntoto Grain and Rice Unions went on strike at the same time over the Government not giving them enough wages during a very hot winter, this stopped rice and bread supplies leading to other unions going on strike. All the protests merged into one as major protests were held all over the country and along the Utembo and Hanzen border crossings. Ntotans tried to break down these crossings but Ntoto and Foreign guards stopped them from doing so. The Pro-Democracy protesters have clogged all major roads in Keigo keeping the city under Marshall law and lock down for almost 5 weeks now. Today the protests have reached a fever pitch.

On the streets people are starving but this isn't stopping the Pro-Democracy protesters. The continue day and night to protest for Democratic elections and for the right to not live in fear. Supreme President Ogoo Speaks to Ntoto About Unity and Banding Together During These Times of Trials, Blasts Westerners

President Ogoo addressed the crippled nation of Ntoto today as crowds are continuing the protests in more and more vigor. Several charity organizations have kept the population of Ntoto alive as workers have been on strike for almost a year. For Ntoto the situation is dire, peaceful protests have erupted several times into full destruction of property. The Ntoto government has been absolutely silent and have talked through they propaganda ministry. The government compound has not been breached and defenses and airlifted goods have kept them from starving. The Supreme President broke his almost 6 month streak of silence.

He said in his speech of unity

Today Ntoto stands divided. We have gone away from what we were founded. We have gone away from out principals and have let ourselves become weak. Ntoto must wake up, we must stop destroying ourselves. The people have fallen away from our goals, of becoming a republic. We must not break ourselves apart, but stand in unity with each other.

We have repeatedly seen Western Nations trying to break in and divide Ntoto. We must stand vigilant against this. This turmoil is directly from the West as they want to see Ntoto weak. Now stand up friends, we can get back to peace. We must get back to peace or else, this country and my government especially will suffer and soon we will have to do something about this insurrection... Now Ntotans, put down your arms, put down your insurrection and be patient, Democracy is a slow process and we must wait.

Baltusia threatens to destroy us their men have traveled here and are creating this nonsense that we are dealing with. This is not what Ntoto wants? Ntoto wants to do it it's own way. We must not let the West deceive us. You are not making the decisions. It is the nations such as Yingdala, Endralon, Baltusia, Dorvik, all of them are working together to end us... We must stand up to them. We must do this to prevent Ntoto from falling to these foreign states. Again I plead with Ntotoans to please, stop rioting, stop this. We must stand together. The more we fight the weaker we become.

It is still too early to find out if his speech of unity will work but since the government has been quiet such a long time people have resorted to Anarchy. Ntoto has turned into an Anarchist society and there will be little Ogoo or anyone else can do about it.

Ntoto Police and Military Calms Breaks Up Protests in Kiego, Marshall Law Level 2 Ordered Throughout the County

Ntoto police and military have been sent orders from President Ogoo to end the protests as they mark 16 months since they began. Police massed outside protest zones and dragged protesters kicking and screaming into prison. Some 600 people have been arrested, the majority of the people escaped into their homes. For the first time in a year and a half the protests have calmed down and workplaces are once again being used for work. The country is started to come back to normalcy. For the government this is a huge win and for Ntoto calm has been restored for now.

Baltusian soldiers have also been arrested by he Government and are being detained. They will not be sent back to Baltusia and face several crimes in Ntoto. Their leader had succumbed to a terrorist attack and had died according to Ntoto police. Weapons of all kinds have been confiscated and sent to the state armory for inspection and storage. For now the streets are calm, for now the gates of the Government Compound remain closed however the Ntotoan Government is looking to repair the seemingly irreparable damage these protests are brought on the country. Will this peace last long, or will the protests spark back up again, only time will tell

Ntoto Self Proclaimed Socialist Rallies in Ntoto, Gains Moderate Success

In the streets of Kiego today several small Socialist rallies were held in front of the Government Compound today. He spoke passionately about abandoning the Democratic Process and this government and embrace a Socialist Revolution. He stood on a fruit box and used a microphone with extension cords. His grassroots campaign has begun and it been given little attention by the Pro-Democracy supporters who also protested today. However Birom had around 300 passionate Socialists that did listen to his speeches. His speech transcript can be found here.

Good Afternoon Comrades,

Democracy has failed, the current government promises change, and elections but it will not happen. Why? because they will never give us elections. As we suffer our brothers in Liore face prospects of glory happiness and a stable safe effective Government. I demand that Ntoto becomes more like Liore and embrace Dovani Socialism. We must conform ourselves to what works and that comrades is Socialism. We must abolish private firms, that just feed Westerners and Capitalist pigs. Dovani is not their playground. We must unite against this and stop them dead in their tracks.

Private Property, Private Healthcare all of these institutions just feed the western capitalists. It is time to stop, we must abolish and end this government by force. This is revolution, Ntoto will be the the first domino to fall in the new Terrawide Socialist Revolution!!! Large deadly rage filled riots broke out once again in Keigo as Pro-Democracy Supports broke into all kinds of Government facilities armed with a variety of foreign weapons they broke into many government offices and hospitals. Many reports show widespread death in these riots however this cannot be confirmed, the most violent rally of any former protest. Over 200 people are injured and an unknown amount of citizens along with 6 private security guards that were known socialists they were hacked to death with machetes. The Pro Democracy protesters called for the public to murder the government and have called for increased international pressure on the current Government. Machetes have become the weapons of choice as people storm the streets going from house to house, looking for government officials. Ntoto has declared a National Emergency and the army has been called to stop this madness from spreading...

In the Liore peace zone tanks and armed soldiers have kept the 120 square kilometer zone free and safe. Ships have come in and out supplying the troops and innocent civilians of Ntoto with food and water and safety. The troops are looking to make this zone larger and to keep the hacking from spreading into this zone. All weapons are being seized inside the zone and Liorean troops have been told to shoot at Pro-Democratic forces that try and bring weapons across the Green Zone and that if they attempt to hurt or kill anyone they will be instantly shot.

Ntoto is a mess, this is a fact. The recent slaughter of many Ntotans have caused the nation to be in constant struggle. However the constant clashes between Government and Pro-Democratic terrorists has ended so far and the Socialists have taken Kiego by force. Under the command of their leader Birom Ouattara. He and his group have come out of hiding and have taken Ntoto by storm. They took to the streets in peace today, trying to calm the storm left by the Democracy supporters.

The Socialists have brought a peaceful side to protesting in Ntoto, they have shown that protests can be peaceful especially in a nation that is war torn and in constant turmoil and violence. Birom has brought peace to a war torn land. His forces have shown that they are capable of spreading their message and doing it peacefully.
