AMARI MAKES MOVES TO STEP DOWN AS GENERAL SECRETARY

Dar as-Salam: Delegate Leader Of The Republic, General Secretary of the CC CPRU and father of the nation Abdul Amari, in a speech to the 30th Party Congress, has stated that he is likely to retire as General Secretary before the next RDA elections in 4276. Amari, now 72, has been General Secretary for 30 years, since the parties founding in 4244. The move comes as there is speculation about a possible illness he may be suffering from.

Amari stated in his speech to the Party Delegates;

I have served as General Secretary for the past 30 years, defending Badara against Imperialism and Counter-Revolution. Only the history books shall determine the success or failure of my actions, but I hope that I have served you the people well and that my successor will serve the people faithfully and bring success after success.

The race for the next Secretary have so far not begun, but the favourite to win, Usama Safar, has so far made statements confirming the likelihood of him running;

Amari's retirement has come as a great shock to me, as much as it has to many throughout Badara. However, Amari has made his own personal decision and it is not for us to speculate. We should instead look to the future, look to ways to build the party and Badara, in order to prepare them for the next century. This is the task that Amari's legacy has given us. Let us set forth and achieve wonders.

ASSEMBLY OF DELEGATE COUNCIL ELECTIONS - NUMBER OF INDEPENDENTS IN IMPORTANT OFFICES INCREASES BY 12%

Dar as-Salam: The recent ADC elections have seen a large increase in Independent delegates at all levels of government, hailing a significant change in the power dynamics within the Councils.
The Assembly Of Delegate Councils is the main executive body of the Badaran Government, elected by the population via a series of delegate elections, as determined by the Constitution of the Badaran RFSR. The Councils act as representatives of the people, instituting the legislation proposed by the Federation of Delegate Assemblies, and also checking the FDA and the Delegate Leader's power.
The significant increase in Independent candidates has sparked an interest in what the future holds; as the people of Badara move away from traditional party politics and towards a new, independent path.
For some politicians, such as Abdul Yasin, Chair Of The Delegate Council Of Constitutional Affairs, the rise in Independents in the Councils raises some concerns;

Independence from the party vanguard has the capacity to increase the risk of counter-revolutionary activity. The party has its means of selecting candidates that support the interests of communism, a independent politician could be anyone. Having the possibility of say, a secret imperialist sympathiser in the role of Chair Of The Delegate Council Of Internal or Foreign Affairs, could spell disaster.

However, others are far more supportive of the increase, even deeming it a victory for Socialism. Ruhul Shakir, Chair Of The Delegate Council Of Education And Culture, said of the elections;

The existence of a new, independent group of politicians, with no ties to party or ideology, may be the perfect defence against counter-revolutionary activity from within the party itself. Let us not forget how the Civil War was almost lost due to collaborators within the CPRU faction of the Delegate Council Of Defence. We cannot ignore the possibility of reformist and capitalist elements gaining power within the party. We must make sure the populous have the ability to defend themselves, if such a travesty should befall them. An independent link to the electorate may be just the defence we, as a socialist society, need.

TRIAL OF UNITED CONSERVATIVE FORCES DELEGATES BEGINS

Dar as-Salam: The trial of United Conservative Forces Delegates has begun after 10 years under house arrest while large amounts of evidence was collected in conjunction to the case. The UCF Delegates are charged with unconstitutional actions, relating to article 1.b of the Constitution Of The Revolutionary Federated Socialist Republic Of Badara.

Article 1 - b. All Capitalist parties and forces are to be suppressed by the state, in order to prevent counter revolutionary activity and a return to Capitalism.

This charge suggests counter-revolutionary intent, as well as imperialist and capitalist leanings. Although the charge doesn't amount to treason inherently, the evidence collected may cause that charge to be added.
The United Conservative Forces are well known for their links to the Coalition insurgency, the MARINE Terrorist Organisation, and the Badaran Conservative Union, who are currently in jail under similar charges as well as the possession of capital earned from exploitation abroad and speculation at home. The BCU where the main backers of the Leader Of Mankind Party and the Coalition. The ex-leader of the UCF; Karan Jabbar, served as de-facto Delegate Leader of the Republic under the Coalition Regime, acting as a puppet for the 'King'. He is thought to currently be in Coalition held territory in northern Marakesh.
The trial is expected to conclude late next year.

CONFLICT IN JELBANIA; BADARAN REVOLUTIONARY NAVY DEPLOYS TO WESTERN SEA OF MAJATRA

Image

Baofluz:Conflict has begun in the South Eastern areas of the People's Republic Of Jelbania. Members of the Jeztri Royal Clan in exile in Barmenia have with the help of the Barmenian government begun to train a guerilla army intent on overthrowing the elected Worker's United Front, implementing a monarchy in Jelbania and placing a 7 year old boy Grzkai Shlajkaisrmko Jeztri as sultan. This armed band is a threat to the People's Republic Of Jelbania, as well as the Union Of Revolutionary Socialist Republics as a whole. Hence the Badaran Revolutionary Navy Ship BRS Sharik, a medium troop transport, has left its port in al-Samarya and have begun to move towards the Jelbanian coast. This show of force against the 'Blue Horde' and in support of the People's Republic is intended to show that the Revolutionary Federated Socialist Republic Of Badara is ready and willing to intervene in the conflict at any time.

VANUKU INTERCEPTS BRS SHARIK IN MASSIVE ESCALATION OF TENSIONS

Image

Sea Of Majatra:In a shocking move the Vanuku Navy has intercepted the BRS Sharik on her way to the Western Majatran Sea. The step comes after a rise in Jeztri Guerilla action in South East Jelbania. Usama Safar had this to say of the events;

What has occurred today is something that cannot easily be forgotten. The Vakuku government has shown its hand in the support of counter-revolutionary Insurgency which plagues our ally the People's Republic Of Jelbania. We cannot see this as the end of hostilities, for it seems to be but the beginning of conflict in the region; a conflict which, I assure you, will leave us victorious.
