PEOPLE'S PARTY OF BADARA RETURNS AFTER 6 YEARS IN EXILE
Dar as-Salam: Today, the People's Party Of Badara's Central Committee disbanded the Provisional Government of Badara in Kalistan, and returned to the country after 6 years in exile. The Party left in 4281, after a Right Wing Ahmadist Coup led to massive political turmoil. However, with the country stabilised under the Ahmadi Socialist Party, Usama Safar saw his opportunity to return to the country.
The party's return has seen mixed views amongst the population, with many people decrying Safar as a poor replacement for the late, revered Abdul Amari, who's Mousoleum in Amari Square, Dar as-Salam, still attracts 100,000's of tourists each day. However, many are glad that the beloved al-Aitihad has returned home.
Usama Safar held a rally of his most loyal supporters in Revolutionary Square to mark the return to Badara. He said; The People's Party is the Party of the People and of their Republic. We are interchangeable, indivisible. You are the water which we the Party swims in, and which we rely on to survive. We have returned home now, to defend the People and to defend the People's Republic. We shall not cease, we shall not falter, until our enemies have been defeated, and communism has been achieved. If you should count on anything count on this comrades, in the words of Metz, our struggle shall end, ''either in a revolutionary reconstitution of society at large, or in the common ruin of the contending classes'. Hence we proclaim, Homeland Or Death, Victory Or Death, Communism Or Death! Now let us sing the anthem of the people, let us sing the Internationale!
Whether or not the People of Badara sing as they once did, only time will tell.
