MARCH 5378 | FOREIGN MINISTER AND EMIR SHOW EVIDENCE OF BAZGARI SPONSORING TERRORISM.
Wad Mabelat: Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Mutlaq el-Sulaiman announced that they had summoned the Bazgari ambassador to Palace of the Emir in Wad Mabelat to discuss the recent reckless behavior, including the recent announcement that they had struck targets in Medina; had assassinated a separatist leader and begun pursuing a more aggressive foreign policy in addition to a more aggressive military expansion. The Emir called for greater sanctions and actions against Bazgaristan and noted that should they continue to go unchecked, it will present major problems for the region. The Minister, speaking with the Emir and the Crown Prince, condemned the recent expansion of the Ahmadi Revolutionary Guard Corps which now includes a centralized intelligence agency and the recent announcement that the Bazgari government will develop a territorial militia force known as the Defenders of the Revolution. Emir Zaahir Salaah al-Madhi condemned the ARGC for sponsoring terrorism and announced that the Minan government has called Bazgaristan a "...state sponsor of terrorism."
The Emir presented evidence that elements of the Ministry of State Security, which operates the State Intelligence Agency (DISID), sponsors terrorist groups and the ARGC's Helem Force and now its centralized ARGC Intelligence Organization, has been providing funding to the Supreme Israic Council for the Ahmadi Liberation of East Dovani, which operates heavily in Nefa due to the lack of oversight during the Kitembo Union's occupation of the area. The evidence, including transactions from the Golden Crescent Bank and the Khushal Bank of the South, which are among the few private banks operating out of Bazgaristan and has branches in several Dovani states including Mina and Statrica. According to sources close to the Emir and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, they have contacted Hanzen and asked them to denounce their neutrality and get more involved in the southeast Dovani region. The Emir summoned the ambassador after giving the press conference and the announcement that Hanzen had condemned Bazgaristan.
The Crown Prince, Tariq bin Zaahir al-Madhi, who has since been named as First Deputy Prime Minister alongside the brother of the Emir, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Field Marshal Abdul Khaliq al-Mahdi and Kamaaluddeen el-Hashemi (Ba'athist); in addition he has been promoted from the rank of General in the Royal Minan Army to the rank of Field Marshal of the Royal Armed Forces of Mina. The Crown Prince, who is now in his late 30s, is being groomed for leadership and according to the Ministry of Defense has served as a front-line commander in the Royal Minan Army's 1st Armored Brigade.
