"No surprises there", responds Yishelem to Vanukean destabilisation attemptsNovember 5366 - Katerina Sheket's press conference focused around Yishelem's response, or rather a lack of response, to what the Medinat Department considers as "smearing attempts at best, destabilising efforts at worst" by the Vanukean Government- Agency dismisses allegations of "meddling", cites the seeming "convenience" of a foreign intelligence service "suddenly discovering documents"

- Medinat Department in talks with Fort William on onboarding a Luthorian naval presence in Beiteynu as part of the recently enacted military allianceYishelem, Beiteynu - "No surprises there", was the opening statement of Katerina Sheket, the Head of the Medinat Department in a press conference yesterday afternoon. The address was focused on a response issued to the
recent release of "curiously convenient intelligence documents" by the Vanukean Government, which were picked up by Cildanian officials almost immediately
after in a "rather expedited manner that still makes us wonder".
"The circumstances of these documents magically appearing all of a sudden and the data included in them of hearsay testimonials from third-party intelligence services and figures of the Cildanian arena generally targeted by anti-fraud and anti-corruption task forces by the Cildanians themselves is a smear campaign at best", Sheket stated, "or a wider attempt by the rising Vanukeans to destabilise what we have all achieved for Majatran stability, at worst". Yishelem's position to these documents is that of "unwavering indifference". "There is absolutely no point in addressing the fantasies of a nation that has capitalised on anti-Yeudi sentiment in Cildania", Sheket responded when asked about the Medinat Department's position to the documents.
The Medinat Department has ceased all diplomatic ties with Vanuku, in being unable to "turn a blind eye to the obvious strategic plotting by Wiel", confirming that the country will be added to the Reshimat Hara, the list of "hostiles" that bureaucrats jokingly dub as the "Yeudi Shitlist". "We hope the Cildanian Government does not take these blatant allegations at face value by those clearly set on an agenda", she further stated, adding, "for I fear the consequences to countries and our continent as a whole will be dire and to a great effect, from the southwest seeking to destabilise a mutually crafted progress".
"We will not tread lightly with those attacking Yeudis or friends of Yeudis; including Cildania, which we will continue to consider as one", Sheket concluded.
Qart Qildar, Cildania - With the recent events unfolding, investor confidence in Cildanian markets has stopped dead in its tracks. Commerce and trade in recent decades has been fuelled largely by Beiteynuese leadership, with Ashalon Bank BEIFG, the global financial conglomerate backed by Lourennais capital, and Hadayim, Birco and Petrik Hadayot - the big three of Beiteynu's shipping industry - spearheading the boost in Cildanian markets, with an expected 25B LOD earmarked over the next 10 years. Cildania's
recent announcement on withdrawing from the robust alliance agreement has essentially frozen commerce.
The Olami Trade Association and the Ministry of Trade & Industry led by the former CEO of Ashalon Bank BEIFG has warned of a potential "en masse exit" of institutions and investors alike from Beiteynu's vast global network of trade, advising the Medinat Department to continue its attempts in engaging with the Cildanian Government, on fears of tanking and undoing the island country's economic boost observed in recent decades.
Sources from the Beiteynuese embassy in Kasaema have hinted at Kundrati markets already considering "pulling their money".
Cahtica, Deltaria - "In light of these horrifying and blatant attempts at the destabilisation of our continent by the Vanukean Government", Katerina Sheket had further commented, "the State of Beiteynu will not be pursuing the reinvigoration of the Majatran Economic Association or any supranational governing body, for the time being. We will consult with our counterparts in Deltaria as to the best course of action pursuant to both the MSCO in terms of ensuring the solidity of our continent's security, as well as to the desired progression of the MEA talks, in par with our continued bilateral alignment as to its reinvigoration thus far".
A diplomatic delegation led by Katerina Sheket of the Medinat Department is expected to fly to the capital city of Deltaria to review the situation with the Deltarian Government; the country's steady and unwavering ascension in recent decades has displayed "promising gravitas" in a context that has been continuously dubbed by Yishelem as a "potential remediating factor" in finding and supporting a Majatran leader that does not "sway with the wind".
Cildania is expected to take the mantle of leadership in the MSCO in 5373; the CMRF's naval operations are expected to continue unhindered.
Himmelshtern, Beiteynu - In a press conference this morning, Kavin Mahorit, the Head of the Kohav, Beiteynu's organisation responsible for the management and oversight of the military, met with the Naval Chief to announce that the navy would "double down" in naval preparedness, joint operations and extensive training exercises over the course of the next 4 years. The Ministry of Defence echoed the statements later at noon, with the Department of Defence Contracts confirming that the previously allocated funds for the Reshout Naval Base in Cildania will be redirected to an "unparalleled naval armament".
The Beiteynuese Naval Command is expected to organise a series of extended exercises with its partners and allies over the course of the next years, also citing how the supranational multi-step naval exercise is "still on the books"; a move expected to solidify Beiteynuese relations with non Majatran countries.
The MOD confirmed that the construction of the navy's second aircraft carrier (of Lourennais origin) is "well underway".
