- Is hating chocohummus an hate crime? - Op Ed from the Editorial BoardPrime Minister Riki Rose is in office since 5421.YISHELEM, ENDILD - The Rosh Ha'memshala of the Homeland State of Beiteynu, Mr. Riki Rose, explained in a Tuesday evening press conference his position on several issues, starting from the fact that he was shocked upon reading the
leaked MOD memo that hints that the Homeland State has paid money to develop nuclear weapons within the borders of our nation.
Speaking directly to his party members, the Mifelegett Ha'avodah, which notably has a strong pacifist base, PM Riki Rose said that 'under my watch, there won't be such destructive weapons developed in the Homeland State', but some members of the youth wing of the MH still express anger about the fact that their Party, having controlled the Office of the Prime Minister for decades, wasn't able to discover this act earlier - calling on him to request Minister Patrick Jacobstone's resignation. On this issue, Rose assured the Beiteynuese people:
I can honestly say that Patrick was shocked as me upon hearing this... He is not responsible and there won't be resignations, as we're working together to end immediately this practice.
PM Rose also said that he would welcome, in the next years, international observers to certify that no nuclear weapons are developed in the Homeland State of Beiteynu.
The PM then turned his focus on two other issues, the
J.A.M.S. treaty and the
controversy between Agafim and the United Medinat, saying, about the latter, that Agafim has 'every right to perform investigations as they deem rightful', citing that the death of hundreds of Beiteynuese nationals back in
August 5434, was a 'dark day for our nation' and that he remembers that day as 'the worst in my PM tenure', adding, for these reasons, that those who oppose or obstruct an investigation are 'unpatriotic people'.
About the hot issue of JAMS, fruit of years of negotiations and aspirations of a continental-wide cooperation in Artania with Majatra, Rose said that he 'greatly commends' the Kundrati National Assembly for ratifying the treaty, following the example set by Narikenland & Darnussia, Malivia and Dundorf - highlighting how this treaty would 'finally puts an end' to controversies and conflicts around the Migrant's Pass.
