The Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) is Back!

As many may remember, the Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) was once one of the most prominent political parties in the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu. In July of 2916, the party was dissolved after its leader, then-Minister of Finance Edwina Yerushalayim, was assassinated by unknown assailants. Now, after a nearly forty-year-long hiatus, the BNR has reentered the Beiteynuese political arena.

The new national leader (the national leader of the BNR is known as the "BNR National Party Chairman") of the BNR is Danielle Frank, a former MP from Tadraki who is of Jewish religion. At the press conference today in which the BNR announced its reformation, Ms. Frank spoke for a few minutes on the BNR's stance on current issues:
Danielle Frank wrote:...[the BNR] supports the peace conference going on to end the Badaran-Selucian conflict; both nations have strong ties to the Commonwealth and we do not want to see either one ravaged by war. We support a peaceful solution to the Sekowian conflict as well. In our own nation, we support continued friendly relations with the Holy Luthori Empire. We want to defuse the potential for civil war with the declaration of independence of the Democratic People's Republic of Padrilka...

Political analysts state that these statements are generally in line with the BNR's platform as it stood at the time of its dissolution in 2916.

Danielle Frank, National Party Chairman of the Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) of the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu, issued this statement today in response to the Barmenistani invasion of Padrilka:

Danielle Frank wrote:The BNR stands for peace and understanding. Back in the 2860s during the Beiteynu-Luthori War, our party wanted a peaceful resolution and worked for it; when peace was not possible we were not afraid to lead our nation in battle. Padrilka has declared independence, and we wished a peaceful resolution to the situation. Barmenistan's invasion has complicated all of that; peace may no longer be possible. If the resolution in the Holy Council passes, I call upon all members of our party militia, the Bismarckian National Resistance Fighters (BNR-F), to take up arms and join with the Army of the Commonwealth in repelling the Barmenistani troops from our nation. The BNR also calls upon our allies in the Axis Alliance, particularly the Holy Luthori Empire, in assisting us in our struggle against Barmenistan's warmongering. Thank you.

December 2958: A Rebirth of the Commonwealth?

After the dissolution of the radical Pansocialist Party of Zion, the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu was left with a power vacuum that the Christian Zionist Party, the DSPB and House of H.E.F. Yišsérles, and the Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) have been glad to fill. It is clear now that the three aforementioned parties, who have a long history of collaborating with each other, pose a threat to the current theocratic reign of the Christian Imperial Party. After the recent September 2958 elections, the DSPB is now the party with the most seats in the Holy Council of the Commonwealth, with 26 seats; the BNR follows with 21, and the CZP with 10 seats; the CIP managed to hang on to 18 seats.

Image
Party seats as of the Sept. 2958 elections

Responding to its gaining of seats, the BNR has recently proposed a number of bills in the Holy Council that would effectively overturn the rule of the CIP and its religious 'reforms'. The current BNR bills include the Second Inclusive Citizenship Act of 2958 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=294985) (the first, in 2957, failed), the Retirement Reform Act of 2958 and the Retirement Reform Act of 2958 Amendment (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=294986 and http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=294995), the Military Reform Act of 2958 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=294998), the Religious Reform Act of 2958 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=294993), and the Reformation of the Government of the Commonwealth Act of 2958 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=294989). The Second Inclusive Citizenship Act of 2958 grants citizenship to all nationals, as where now only Christians and Jews can be citizens. The Retirement Reform Act of 2958 and the Retirement Reform Act of 2958 Amendment lower the retirement age to 62 (from 75) and reestablish the voluntary public pension system, respectively. The Military Reform Act of 2958, among other things, allows women, homosexuals, and people of any race and religion to serve in the military. The Religious Reform Act of 2958 most notably makes the official state religion Judaism and makes it voluntary. The Reformation of the Government of the Commonwealth Act of 2958 renames the head of government and head of state titles, as well as the name of the legislature, to their pre-CIP names, as well as allowing any party to propose a cabinet, and deletes the requirement that citizens must carry their identity cards at all times. These bills are expected to pass with the support of the DSPB and CZP.

It is estimated by Beiteynuese political analysts that this resurgence in liberalism in the Commonwealth is due to a belief in the inability of the CIP to protect the nation against foreign threats, as well as the CIP's isolationism. Now that the three 'classic' parties of Yishelem and Beiteynu are back in the political arena, these same analysts are confident that a return to the old, liberal ways of the post-Beiteynu-Luthori War Commonwealth is nigh. This is based on the belief that the DSPB, CZP, and BNR are generally more progressive and internationalist than the CIP. Only time will tell if the Commonwealth will truly experience a rebirth of liberalism, or if it is all just a political gambit.

August 15, 2962: Treaty of Poesy Renegotiation Conference Underway

The "Treaty of Poesy Renegotiation Conference" commenced today at the Goldstein Intercontinental Hotel in Yishalem. Delegates from both the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu and the Holy Luthori Empire are in attendance.

Image
Goldstein Intercontinental Hotel

After the controversy surrounding the legality of the United Malkut Act (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=295232) and another similar proposal by the DSPB (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=295233), it was suggested by the Constitutionalist Imperial League of the Luthori Empire to hold a renegotiation conference over certain aspects of the Treaty of Poesy. Key disagreements between the Empire and the Commonwealth are the naming rights of the Commonwealth, and the legality of three-king coalition as proposed by the United Malkut Act, although other topics may come up as the conference progresses.

Public reactions to the conference are mixed. Many are glad that it is being held "at home" in the Commonwealth instead of in Luthori or in a neutral third-party state, as was the original Treaty of Poesy conference. Supporters state that the conference is a step towards greater independence from Luthori. Opponents are concerned that the conference is just "for show", and that nothing will, in truth, be changed.

2963: NNC and NAFC to assist in blockade of Sekowo

After the recent passage of the Support the Empire Resolution (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=295586), which allowed the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu to assist militarily in the Holy Luthori Empire's war against Sekowo, the National Navy of the Commonwealth (NNC) has sent its 2nd Expeditionary Fleet, normally known just as the "2nd Fleet", to assist in the blockade of Sekowian waters. 2964 Election Analysis
National Results:
Christian Imperial Party: 35 (+17)
-Pickups: 10 from CZP, 4 from BNR, 3 from DSPB
-Losses: none

DSPB and House of H.E.F. Yišsérles: 23 (-3)
-Pickups: 1 from BNR
-Losses: 3 to CIP, 1 to BNR

Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR): 17 (-4)
-Pickups: 1 from DSBP
-Losses: 4 to CIP, 1 to DSBP

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 0 (-10)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 10 to CIP

National Analysis: The 2964 election saw the complete collapse of the Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut within the Commonwealth. It is unclear whether or not the party will resurface in the future, but due to internal disputes and subtle support of revolution against the Holy Luthori Empire the CZP's voters have deserted them in droves leaving them with no seats in the Holy Council.

The Bismarckian National Resistance and the DSPB and House of H.E.F. Yišsérles both ran on their legacy of dismantling the theocratic regime of the Christian Imperial Party. The DSPB ran more to the left with hints of laborism and social democracy. The BNR largely staked out a middle ground showing its commitment to civil rights. The Christian Imperial Party ran on a return to theocratic rule. The relative political spectrum of the Commonwealth has largely been settled with the CIP on the right, the BNR in the middle and the DSPB on the left.

Without the CZP dividing the Christian and very religious vote the CIP was able to capture many seats. In fact all of the seats of the former CZP were captured by the CIP. The CIP capitalist and loyalist message allowed it capture seats that would normally not have voted for a religious party making inroads in traditional BNR and DSPB territory. Though it goes with argument that the CIP image is marred by some actions taken during thier theocratic rule.

The DSPB dominated areas with poor and working class peoples. They swept the industrialized area of the country winning the votes of every major city except one. Only the BNR was able to compete with them in most cities, but they weren't able to overcome the DSPB. Some of their liberal stances allowed them to contest and win a few suburbs areas populated by the middle class. Their economic message appealed to rural and peasant voters but was overridden by the CIP's religious message. The CIP largely won rural areas where religion is highly valued, but also attracted some rich and upper middle class voters allowing them to take some suburban areas. The BNR largely won suburban areas where their centrist message played well among voters. But they faced a challenge from both the right and the left in this area and their seat share bears this out.

The last election showed the Commonwealth rejected the CIP's theocratic rule. This election has shown that a plurality aren't happy with the current status quo. However the CIP's ability to pass legislation will be hampered by not having a majority or clear ally. And by the fact that the BNR and DSPB alliance is still in charge of the Holy Council.

Results:

Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR): 3 (-1)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 1to CIP

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 0 (-3)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 3 to CIP

Analysis:
The most populous state in the Commonwealth, Endild, has always leaned towards the CIP. During the previous two bad elections for the CIP they have received the most votes. However this leaning didn't stop the DSPB from sweeping all the cities including the capital of Yishalem and its surrounding suburbs. The BNR managed to hold onto a few suburban areas surrounding Antzarhe and Givat Aliyah. The CIP dominated rural areas and managed to take a suburban area from the BNR.

-Pickups: none
-Losses: 1 to CIP

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 0 (-2)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 2 to CIP

Analysis: The DSPB swept the cities and the area near Trachimbrod. The CIP swept the countryside and a couple suburbs managing to take seats from every party. The BNR performed well in the area around Moatsheba and Shaar HaNegev. They also won the coastal areas where a good number of upper middle class people live.

Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR): 5 (-2)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 2 to CIP

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 0 (-2)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 2 to CIP

Analysis: Arguably the most liberal province in the Commonwealth, only rivaled by Quo'gun, tempers still run high over the Padrilka Rebellion. Feeling over the crackdown by the CIP may have diminished its seat gains. This state is notable because it was the closet among votes for the parties. The DSPB did well in the coastal and city areas. The BNR did well around Kiryas Ya'akov and the coastal area, but ended up ceding a couple seats to the CIP.

-Pickups: 1 from DSBP
-Losses: none

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 0 (-1)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 1 to CIP

Analysis:The state where the CIP was founded and its home base Tadraki voted heavily in their favor making it the most lopsided of the elections. DSPB was only able to hold onto a few cities in the north of the state. The BNR expanded into the area around Ir Shalom managing its only seat capture of the election there. The CIP dwarfed the other parties in the south even taking the city of Nantashem.

Quo'gun State: Solid DSPB

Results:

-Pickups: 1 from BNR
-Losses: none

Christian Imperial Party: 3 (+2)
-Pickups: 2 from CZP
-Losses: none

Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR): 2 (-1)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 1 to DSPB

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 0 (-2)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 2 to CIP

Analysis: Quo'gun proved to be the only state that didn't give a plurality or majority of it votes to the CIP. The DSPB continued its dominance of industrial areas capturing all the cities of the state which due to its low population accounted for nearly half of its seats. This state election also gave the DSPB its only seat pick up of the election from the BNR. The BNR held a couple of suburbs and the CIP managed to hold onto the countryside.

Aftermath: With the collapse of the CZP a new governing coalition has to be formed. Though the CIP won the election nearly doubling its seat share it fell three short of an outright majority. Here is a list of coalition listed by likelihood. The BNR will serve as king maker in the process.

Orange-Yellow Coalition: A coalition of the DSPB and BNR. Though defeated in the election a DSPB-BNR still has a majority of the Holy Council. Last election cycle the DSPB, BNR and CZP formed a coalition so it seems only natural they would coalition up again. However that may have been a coalition of necessity to fight against the CIP theocratic rule and after that their similarities end.

Rainbow Coalition: A grand coalition between the DSPB, BNR and CIP. A show of good faith by the CIP taking in all parties to showing it won't immorality begin drastic religious reforms and a unified front in the possible war.

Black-Yellow Coalition: A coalition of the BNR and CIP. Unlikely due to policy differences and what the BMR considers tyrannical actions while the CIP had power. Though both parties are strong loyalist so that may eclipse there other policy differences.

Black-Orange Coalition: A coalition of the DSPB and CIP. Very unlikely as neither party has very much common ground with the other.

BNR Signs "Loyalty Pledge"

The National Party Chairman of the Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) of the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu, Shlomo Sussman III, signed today the Christian Imperial Party-sponsored "Loyalty Pledge" (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=296221), which was introduced into the Holy Council in response to claims by the CIP and the Constitutionalist Imperial League (CIL) of the Holy Luthori Empire that the Christian Zionist Party (CZP) is involved in a plot with Sekowian terrorists to broadcast republican/anti-Luthori propaganda in the Commonwealth, and to potentially invade it and try to "liberate" it from "Luthori control".

The signed statement of Mr. Sussman was, in full, the following:
Shlomo Sussman III wrote:I, Shlomo Sussman III, National Party Chairman of the Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) of the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu, do hereby pledge my complete loyalty to the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu, the Holy Luthori Empire, and the King-Emperor Gustavus II. I make this pledge of my own free will and good conscience in the presence of Almighty God, a.k.a. Yahweh. If I should break this pledge, may He strike me down. I make this pledge both in my own name, as well as in the names of all Bismarckian members of the Holy Council, in the names of all Bismarckian National Resistance Fighters (BNR-F), and in the names of all other employees and officials of the Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) of the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu.

Mr. Sussman later added at a post-signing press conference that he could not, "speak for each individual member of the BNR as to their opinions or agreement on the Loyalty Pledge," but was confident that the majority of Bismarckians, "wholeheartedly support the matter."

Image
BNR National Party Chairman Shlomo Sussman III

Some BNR members were unhappy with the move, seeing it as either a betrayal of their allied party the CZP (formerly allied: the CZP has been suspended as an allied party of the BNR), of the BNR's original republican ideals, or of both.

BNR declares support for Mordusia in fight against communists

The Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) of the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu announced today its, "unyielding support for the legitimate Government of the Mordusian Democratic Republic in its struggles against the communistic revolt that is currently going on in the nation."

BNR National Party Chairman Shlomo Sussman III made this public statement regarding the Mordusian Civil War at a press conference after signing the "Loyalty Pledge":
Shlomo Sussman III wrote:The Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR) of the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu is dedicated to fostering peace around the world, and supports all legitimate governments of all legitimate nations. As such, in the current Mordusian Civil War, we must announce our unyielding support for the legitimate Government of the Mordusian Democratic Republic in its struggles against the communistic revolt that is currently going on in the nation. We harshly denounce the communistic, so-called 'National Revolutionary Army' as a terrorist group. May our friends and allies the Mordusian People triumph in their struggle for peace against the communistic warmongers.

In response to this statement, Bismarckian MPs in the Holy Council introduced the "Resolution to Support the Legitimate Government of Mordusia" (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=296292), which, if passed, would theoretically allow the Commonwealth to intervene militarily in Mordusia if the Government of Mordusia so requests it, and if HRM King Gustavus II so approves it.

Christian Zionist Party Primaries

After a vote last week in the Christian Zionist Congress, a call for Primaries has been called. The current chairman, David Stevens has stepped down. The party has had a very awkward appearance to the public regarding it's stand on independence from Luthori, the Sekowan-Luthori War, and the Jewish Monarchy, and the usage of French as an official language instead of English. At the moment the party is divided into several factions:

The LuthLoyalists, who are Luthori Loyalists of both Jewish and Christian Background
The Joyalists aka Jewish Monarchists, who are loyal to the Jewish duarchy and wish to see them as monarchs (or co-monarchs with Luthori)
The Sepratists, they are the ones who favor war against Luthori and support all anti-Luthori operations across the world.
Cultural Conservatives, they wish to keep in place, and emphasis the Jewish Culture in the nation.

The party is divided deeply and some fear that if they don't pull themselves together the party could fall apart. In the primary the following people are:

Soon to be Duke of Endlid, David Yisserles

Image

He is one of the favorites to win the primaries. He has the support of the Monarchists, or the Joyalists, and recently he won the LuthLoyalist faction's vote after giving his oath to the King, in order to be Duke of Endlid. He supports keeping the status quo, and not separating from Luthori. He, however, is open to increased control over what wars the nation will take part in. He favors the usage of English and Hebrew only, as official languages of the Party. He considers French a language for, "dogs and fornicators." He supports Luthori in the war against Sekowo.

He many issues standing in his way of course. Including the fact that he is 20 years old. Since the death of his father David has been watched by the media. People wondered if he would live up to the words of his father, and carry on his view for an Independent nation. In many people's view he did not live up to these promises when he Swore an Oath to the Luthori King. He also is criticized for marrying a lower class women, and having a child with her before their wedding day. He is also critizised for taking the Loyalty oath, and some party members wish for his banishment from the party.

Vice-Chairman of the CZP, Sarah-Marie Stevens

Image

She is so far in the lead in the most Mehozot, according to polls. She has the support of Joyalists and Separatists

In polls so far he is leading in the most amount of Mehozot. He currently has the support of the Separatists, Joyalists, and the Cultural Conservatives. She believes that Independence is the goal for the nation, and measures should be made to get through increased autonomy. She believes the English should be suppressed as much as possible, as it is a sign of Luthori Culture. She believes that all schools should teach in Hebrew and Hebrew only, with French as a second language up until high school, where French will be a choice out of the languages of any Jewish allies. She is in favor of Jews going to Sekowo to fight the war against Luthori. She however is not in favor of banishing David Yisserles from the CZP. "He is and will remain a very important part of the party, and the independence movement," she told the BBC. She also favors a name change of the party to "Am Echad, Pays Libre" (One Nation, Free Land).

She has many obstacles to face. Many people feel that if she is elected the party will be again run by the Stevens family, a family known world wide for its role in Beiteynuese politics. Many people also dislike her policy on the Sekowan War, saying that it is not right for a party to root for a nation which is killing its own citizens in war.

Ir Shalom Mayor Takashi Matori

He is very new to the politics outside of Tadrikai, but he seems to be growing in popularity. He has a strict Anti-Luthori viewpoint. He favors war and guerrilla violence against the Luthoris over peace. He also favors using propaganda to get people to not enlist in the military, but to instead to to Sekowo to enlist there. He is very controversial for his speech on, "rooting out the murderers of the King and Queen" and, "doing to them what they did to us."

These two have a lot of campaigning to do. The Primary list has been released and Endlid is first with 70 delegates up for grabs. Followed by: Tadrikai with 70, Fruskila with 55, Quogun with 45, and ending with Padrilka with 40. The CZP Primaries are very unique as they also have a super delegate system in place. The Monarchist faction gets 40 delegates, the Independence faction gets 40 delegates, the Cultural Conservative faction gets 50 delegate, and finally the LuthLoyalists get 20. Also, all parties that are members of the Free Beiteynu Collation will be given 30 delegates each to choose their pick.

Good luck in Endlid

National Analysis: DSPB Landslide Victory!
With even a cursory look at the election results it clear that the DSPB has won a massive victory. They have managed to build a coalition of center leftist, Jews and socialists that rivals the Christian Imperial Party's coalition from the last election. The DSPB opposition to all of the CIP bill in the last session has lead to them being viewed as the anti-CIP party and that was the focus of its election campaign. And that is playing well at the moment. More leftist members of the DSPB are announcing the utter defeat of the CIP radical religious policies and the right wing in general. The DSPB made inroads in traditionally CIP and BNR territory. By advancing a "Jewish" agenda combined with their economic policy they have won over many rural areas from the CIP. They have also advanced into the suburbs formerly controlled by the BNR.

For the CIP the election has been a repudiation of its policies, as well as its relatively lack of accomplishing anything while in the government. Its campaign of religious values and fundamentalism appears to have fallen on deaf ears. With the right wing vote split between the Christian Zionist Party, Rock-U-Bot Party and the CIP and the religious vote now being split by the CIP, CZP and DSPB and their massive defeat moral at the CIP is at an all time low. This coupled with the failing health of the party's 83 year old founder and current leader Richard Lee radical changes appear on the horizon for the party. Whether that is towards moderation or violence will depend on the next leader.

The Christian Zionist Party has been reformed and has come back with vengeance. Gaining two seats from its pre-collapse total. The party campaigned as the pro-Jewish center right CIP alternative. Many religious and right leaning voters were appealed to by these relative moderate stances and deserted the CIP. Though at a post CIP peak the CZP is being ripped apart from the inside. With one faction wanting to break away from the Luthuri Empire and another advocating loyalty. Like the CIP the CZP stands at a critical fork and its decision could heavily impact policy in the Commonwealth.

The Bismarckian National Resistance contained to run on its policy moderation and centrism; sometimes working with the CIP and with the DSPB. This allowed them to play an important role in the last session but the voters appear to have turned away from them. There is also a taint of being too friendly with the radical CIP turning off some of their traditional voters to the DSPB. The BNR seat count is at an all time low after fairing the worst of the main parties in the last election. Some members of the far left and right are claiming this is final defeat of moderation in the Commonwealth, though this is still left to be seen. There are calls by some in the party for the BNR to change policy, but to what no one knows

Lastly the election saw the emergence of another rightwing party in the Rock-U-Bot Party. Though the party has yet to gain traction with many voters and at this point remains a minor party. It remains a largely a regional party in the Quo'gun State. The party's campaign message was muddled and what exactly they stand for is unclear. With a more defined platform the party may grow to match or exceed the BNR.

The landscape in the Commonwealth has taken a dramatic turn. It's hard to deny that there is a definite swing to the left. Though it could be explained by an extremely divided right wing vote and a monolithic left wing vote. However this fails to explain the many seats the DSPB won from the centrist BNR. It could also be explained by the religious moves of the DSPB. Whether this election marks the end of the right or a setback for them will only be seen in future elections.

Rock-U-Bot Party: 0 (new party)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: none

Analysis:
A resurgent CZP makes its most powerful showing in the state of Endild capturing over half of the CIP's former seats. The CZP demonstrated that not only could it be a clear alternative for the Christians of the Commonwealth, but it can surpass the CIP. The BNR managed to hold onto its seats in this state as the CIP suffers a horrible defeat.

Rock-U-Bot Party: 1 (new party)
-Pickups: 1 from CIP
-Losses: none

Analysis:
The CIP suffers a major defeat in the state bleeding seats to the DSPB, the CZP and the RUBP. Arguable the worst defeat for them in this election because the CIP couldn't compete with the left or the worst in the state.

Padrilka State: DSPB Country
Gray: Christian Imperial Party
Orange: DSPB and House of H.E.F. Yišsérles
Yellow: Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR)
Blue: Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut
Green: Rock-U-Bot Party

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 1 (+1)
-Pickups: 1 from CIP
-Losses: none

Rock-U-Bot Party: 0 (new party)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: none

Analysis:
Liberal Padrilka to no real surprise gave the DSPB its greatest victory. The surprise does come from the fact the majority of the DSPB gains came not at the expense of the CIP, who lost only a couple seats, but at the expense of the BNR. The BNR has collapsed in the province becoming a minor party in the state. The CZP was not well received in the state only managing to acquire one seat.

Tadraki State: Battleground

2: Y'seah
3: Ir Shalom
4: Nantashem

Results:
DSPB and House of H.E.F. Yišsérles: 5 (+2)
-Pickups: 1 from CIP, 1 from BNR
-Losses: none

Christian Imperial Party: 5 (-5)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 4 to CZP, 1 to DSPB

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 4 (+4)
-Pickups: 4 from CIP
-Losses: none

Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR): 1 (-1)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 1 to DSPB

Rock-U-Bot Party: 0 (new party)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: none

Analysis:
Even in the CIP stronghold of Tadraki the DSPB tide couldn't be halted. The CIP support has collapsed to shell of itself. The CZP performed well in the state capturing most of the CIP's deserting voters. The BNR has been reduced to minor party in the provinces only hanging onto one vote.

Quo'gun State: DSPB Country
Gray: Christian Imperial Party
Orange: DSPB and House of H.E.F. Yišsérles
Yellow: Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR)
Blue: Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut
Green: Rock-U-Bot Party

Rock-U-Bot Party: 2 (new party)
-Pickups: 1 from CIP, 1 from BNR
-Losses: none

Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR): 1 (-1)
-Pickups: none
-Losses: 1 to RUBP

Christian Imperial Party: 1 (-2)
-Pickups: 1 to CZP, 1 to RUBP
-Losses: none

Christian Zionist Party / Notzri Tzionut: 1 (+1)
-Pickups: 1 from CIP
-Losses: none

Analysis:
Ironically the only state not to vote for the CIP in the last election Quo'gun is the only state in this election to not give any more seats to the DSPB. In fact their vote total dropped by over 6 percent. The RUBP preformed the best in this state managing to win two seats (2/3 of its total seats value). The RUBP managed only in Quo'gun to defeat every major party except the DSPB.

Aftermath:
The current Center-Right Coalition between the CIP and BNR is bound to collapse after suffering a combined seat loss of 27 seats. However the DSPB fell short of the 38 seats needed to form a government outright. The current climate in the Commonwealth is rife for coalition haggling. Here is a list of coalition listed by likelihood.

Center-left Coalition: A coalition of DSPB and BNR. Traditional allies who took down the CIP's rule together a coalition could hold up between the two as long as the DSPB doesn't push a truly leftist agenda.

Jewish Coalition: A coalition of the DSPB and the CZP. The DSPB has had a recent streak in it to enshrine Jewishness in the laws of the Commonwealth. The hybrid Jewish/Christian CZP would be a naturally ally in this endeavor.

Loyalist Coalition: A coalition between the DSPB, BNR and the CIP. All parties strangely loyal to the empire, but it is unlikely that the their loyalty to the empire that could overcome their divergent political views.

Center-right Coalition: A Coalition between the CZP, BNR, CIP and RUBP. Though the parties have at least somewhat similar platforms the coalition would be inherently unstable. The sheer number of parties would inevitably lead to infighting.

OOC: Had to restructure some of the districts and locations of the cities due to an earlier map the CZP gave me. Sorry for the tardiness.

Endlid has voted. David Yisserles wins his future Dukedom.

Yishelemites were joyfully singing as news came in that the future Duke won the Mehoz. The results were not suprising to most since David is from Endlid and is the future Duke. The young royal did well in Yishalem and its surrounding districts. However, Kahina Point, as well as alot of central Endlid voted for Sarah-Marie Stevens. Leaving the areas bordering Tadrikai to Takashi Matori.

All three camps were hard at work campaning, but the vast appeal of Yisserles came in victory. Many varibles came into the pictures during this primary. The CZC got a letter from Luthori giving their support for David Yisserles, and even threatening hanging and killings for the other two candidates. Also the CIP was hard at work giving the Yisserles supporters the tools and votes needed to take them to victory.

Yisserles' victory speach was short and sweet. He thanked the people of his home Mehoz and told them that with him the nation will be led, "into years of peace and prosperity, under Jewish laws, and a loving mother nation." The Stevens' speech was not one of a good sport. She reffered to the Yisserles supporters as, "Luthori Colaborators" and as, "elements uneeded in the party." She later went on to explain that the threats on her life from Luthori, and Luthori sympthisers will not work, and she will continue her peaceful activism against Luthori. Matori's speech was very angry. He called for death and banishment of the, "Luthori Swine" and procedded to call Yisserles, "a heartless traitor to the nation" and Stevens, "a spinless twit of a woman."
