Bannerhafen, Narikaton & Darnussia - Noting an upcoming interest in military procurement and pending defence contracts by the government of Narikaton & Darnussia, prominent Equifund executives conducted a series of meetings with notable and promising Narik & Darnussian defence companies alike, in an effort to explore potential partnerships across the spectrum; the concept, as always, is the same: boosting N&D's industry in a manner that it allows it to enter the Equifund, tap into the international network of investors, suppliers and manufacturers and further enhance the network itself, as a result.

Despite the Equifund being of Beiteynuese origin purposefully designed to inject international money into the country's flailing companies 200 years ago, these days, it's more known as a catalog of products and companies from all over the world, counting more than 10 countries.

The focus is navy; as such, the consortium expected to form will most likely include Kundrati and potentially Lourenne, the 2 most pivotal partners to Beiteynuese manufacturers such as Beir Leshet; the former, with its world renowned shipyards that have assembled most of the Beiteynuese navy and trade fleets and the latter, for its historic expertise in blue water vessels such as the infamous Horizon-class destroyer, the closely guarded jewel of Canrillaise craftsmanship.

It is rumoured that Yishel Investment Group, the premier investor on Beiteynu's side, will seek to invest further capital into Narikaton & Darnussia's naval manufacturing facilities, with potential deals in the table towards joint research and development on some projects to "secure more suppliers".

Details on the composition of the consortium to follow-up with Bannerhafen are expected to be released in the near future.

Lavian submits expansion plans for Amshinov to Project Terraway

Amshinov, Beiteynu - From the northeastern parts of the country, right to the south of Amshinov where the Karkaari mountain line breaks open between the North and the Desert Banks lie the space facilities of the Lavian, burning under the hottest puffs of air from the monstrous mountain lines of Pontesi. Medinat Dpt. leans in optimistic support of Artanian security organisation JASA

Yishelem, Beiteynu - "It has been a long-standing goal of the Beiteynuese Government to have relations and trade with an Artania that does not cast its security flimsily in the hands of 1 or 2", Sneakyeth Avodi, the Head of the Medinat Dpt. commented earlier this morning, "and thus we have always advocated for equal leadership and cooperation between Artanian states on this subject, including but not limited to - you guessed it! - the Migrant's Pass".

The Medinat Dpt. remains optimistic towards the formation of JASA, keenly aware of direct and indirect opposition to it from both Majatran and Artanian states; what will tip the scales, as it seems, is whether this Artanian organisation "will stick around", citing the 3 failed attempts at the AU over the last 250 years.

"Yes", Mr. Avodi concluded, "the JAMS idea has always been to extend it to an org-to-org platform, once Artania was ready".

NEK enters Yeudish Neset under a mutual defence pact

Cetatea Albă, New Endralon & Kizenia - The international community being keenly aware of the fact that Cetatea Albă recently ratified the full spectrum of Beiteynuese frameworks gave birth to increasing rumours of a Zaar, or even a Shahar Fleet deployment in NEK; the potential of a Yeudish navy in the north would have most likely sparked controversies in the traditionalist of that hemisphere, Luthori's alignment with Hutori, Dolgava and the CSCO notwithstanding.

The surprise, however, came from Lourenne, which deployed the Second Royal Fleet after announcing a mutual defence pact with NEK, itself.

Kerisian dreams at stability and internationalism continue to be jeopardised by a Trigunia that seems to continue acting by its own accord. Although bilateral relations between Beiteynu and Dolgava have been "frosty", their common ties to Fort William would have presumably put the brakes on any naval deployments in NEK by the Yeudis. To assuage possible short-term concerns, the Head of the Medinat Department made a short statement yesterday afternoon:

Until such time as we are called upon the defence and security of our allies, Beiteynu will not be deploying any forces in NEK. We are also confident that Cetatea Albă knows exactly what it's doing in their pursuit of alignment with non-traditional influencers in the northern hemipshere.

Suffice to say, we are excited to initiate the new channels and hope to work towards renewed relations with Kizenia and New Endralon for the long-term, including but not limited to intelligence, as they have chosen to participate in the AllComm, as well.

On Dolgava and the broader tensions in Keris, we cannot comment at this time.

Meleh Elias Ishmael IV announces planned abdication due to heart problems

Endralon's entry to JAMS marks 16 nations from 2 continents working together

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Calling it a "great diplomatic victory", the Medinat Dpt. has confirmed Endralon's imminent entry to the JAMS framework of Artanian-Majatran cooperation towards ensuring security in the Migrant's Pass. Pursued as a "deterring" framework by the Beiteynuese Government, the agreement offers a platform for Artanian states to work together with the MSCO under a mandate of equal participation, "disarming" any rogue operations from independent states. Beiteynu's goal has always been to create and solidify a leverage to stop states like Dorvik and Luthori from disregarding the MSCO, as they have done in the past.

"An international maritime passage of critical importance is now a matter of international responsibility", the Head of the Medinat Dpt. commented.

While the Deputy Representative to the MSCO stated to the MSCC that the matter is now "put to rest", the question remains whether Luthori will indeed join the framework as it debates the treaty in the Imperial Diet, especially considering how Yishelem and Fort William have been at "odds with each other" ever since the MSCO-AU negotiations failed decades ago. Rutania's "cold shoulder" on the matter, a Commonwealth member, is also another thorn in the discussions.

As the Kundrati-pursued formation of the JASA takes shape, it feels as if a divided Artania begins to split between the north and the south, with Kundrati and Dundorf acting as the newly empowered playmakers in keeping a continent together.

Navy procures 9 guided-missile cruisers for carrier strike groups

Himmelshtern, Beiteynu - In a whopping multi-billion LOD deal awarded to Apex Military Industries NSC of Baltusia, KDC of Kundrati and Beir Leshet & Shafir Koalit of Beiteynu, the MOD's Department of Defence Contracts has authorised the procurement of 9 Whitney the Great-class guided-missile cruises to further enhance the firepower of the 3 carrier strike groups under the structure of Shahar Fleets (otherwise referenced as the Esh Carrier Battle Group).

Cruisers are most commonly recognised as the "escort" warships of aircraft carrier formations, with greater firepower and higher manoeuvrability and speed than those of destroyers, which are the direct "brothers" of cruisers serving as the tactical vessels of most blue water navies.

The new cruisers of Baltusian design are the result of a joint R&D project that took off in 5447 between AMI NSC, KDC and Beir Leshet & Shafir Koalit; with Kundrati and Beiteynuese companies also receiving co-production licenses as part of an initiative that the Beiteynuese Government sought to enable as much as possible in an effort to expand its network of suppliers (note: the Equifund deals still remain in place with Canrille Defence Enterprise).

Unsurprisingly, Kundrati's world renowned shipbuilding industry played a pivotal role in the assembly and sea trials of the 9 cruisers. The Medinat Dpt. will seek to leverage this recent international partnership to open up diplomatic channels with Baltusia; the one Seleyan country that Yishelem never had any relations with.

It is rumoured that the Esh CBG will take part in a Lourennais-led naval training program; the 2 CSGs will remain assigned to the CMRF (MSCO), regardless.

Yishelem, Beiteynu - As the Medinat Dpt. continues to move Beiteynu's foreign policy "activity" into the background of world affairs since 5445, the 4-tier modularised platform of the Yeudish Neset takes further center stage with Selucia's and Badara's official continuation of relations that have already been in place for decades and centuries; that especially rings true with Badara, which has chosen to remain under a mutual defence pact with Yishelem (excl. the MSCO).
