Mass-sacking in the MH, who reforms into HHB
David Aristocrat-Goldbloom finally implemented his reform on the Labour Party, founded 132 years ago by his ancestor Elias.
May 5474

in other news:
- New dual republic's dating app skyrockets in Beiteynu, in a country ready to move past war to make love.
- Will chocohummus return in the Beiteynuese markets? We asked an expert.
- New emergency cabinet formed without MH politicians, but former civil servants. Left-wings politicians want nothing to do with Mr. Jacobstone?

YISHELEM, ENDILD - We've narrated over the course of the past years the increasing tensions inside the MH (Mifelegett Ha'avodah, Labour Party) in wake of the so-called "Hubris War" that involved Lourenne and Beiteynu, and how the positions of some hawkish ministers conflicted with the broadly pacifist sentiment of the base. David Aristocrat-Goldbloom tried to maintain unity inside of his party but eventually failed as pacifist ministers resigned from the cabinet, leading to a new Jacobstone emergency cabinet, with the hawkish ministers that were fired for breaking party doctrine as well as the most radical party members like the very first Ministers to resign, we narrated that too, here.
Some deputies in the Knesset, belonging to the most radical wing, resigned from the MH too in protest with Aristocrat-Goldbloom's decision, a decision that wasn't limited to mass firings on both sides of the political spectrum. In order to renew the image of a party struggling with voters, also due to its heavy past of 132 years, the MH took with 85% of the party membership favorable, a decision to rebrand the Labour Party into a centrist, but still left-leaning, party, named the "Democratic Camp of Beiteynu" (Ha'Maḥaneh Ha'Demokrati Beiteinu, HHB).

We asked the Leader for a comment on the current situation, to understand better:
We're changing our party. We'll focus on democratic values and we intend to be a pacifist, socially liberal and economically centrist party, in order to grow our coalition against the HL. To honor our founder, Elias Goldbloom, the left-wing of this party will be called the "Goldbloom Wing", and their voce will matter. We just didn't tolerate the radical hawkish policy of some of our members as well as the excessive partisanery on the other side - we're now witnessing less internal conflict and I'm very hopeful for our chances in the future

According to the national electoral commission, HHB has already been formed, and will be ready to contest the next 5477 election, hoping to regain the position of PM from Patrick Jacobstone. Eveeryone is wondering if this move will prove successful, and if it will bring back a Aristocrat-Goldbloom in the office of Rosh Ha'memshala - only time will tell!

Medinat Dpt. kills mutual defence pact as part of Yeudish Neset realignment
November 5474

Yishelem, Beiteynu - Head of the Medinat Department Sneakyeth Avodi confirmed earlier this morning that the Jacobstone Administration had completed the removal of the Mutual Defence Pact framework from the Yeudish Neset, as Beiteynu seeks to reposition itself after the war.

When asked about Beiteynu's ongoing foreign policy realignment, he commented:

We're taking a good, hard look at alliances; the war showed us that, save but a few, the concept of an alliance means nothing to most states. As part of the Yeudish Neset's realignment we're also reviewing the Partnership Agreement and reassessing the AllComm's foreign accesses to the Allink, our satellite network.

He also confirmed that the Beiteynuese Government had removed the rather "strict" proviso from the Beiteynuese Framework of Diplomacy & Friendship that shackled states to security consults with Yishelem pertaining to affairs in northwest Majatra, citing how the Yishelhafen Pact would be "more than sufficient".

JAMS and MSCO seems to continue to remain at the heart of Migrant's Pass affairs, especially as Emergency Secretary-General Yeshua Shavit is looking to introduce an amendment to the MSCO's core nature following the aftermath of the war and its devastating effects in southeast Majatra.

Experts, however, seem to call the Medinat Dpt.'s actions as "moves in the night to an endgame".

Delegation arrives in Tian'an for supranational conference
July 5475

Tian'an, Yingdala - Ministers of Finance and Trade & Industry arrived earlier this afternoon in Tian'an amidst a heated opening of the supranational conference intended to assess and review the world's status after the devastating Beiteynuese-Lourennais escalation.

Minister of Trade & Industry Lorieta Benowitz, a former Hadayim COO, made the following comment upon landing:

The Homeland State of Beiteynu is keen to ensure that trade and commerce will continue unhindered just as they had during the B&L Alliance and that no Dorvish-inspired hegemonies disrupt that flow, or are in a position to disrupt that flow, under any circumstances.

When asked about Yingdala's opening remarks and the reactions from multiple states, she responded:

No comment. This is a debate, after all.

A quite extended delegation including Rosh HaMemshala Patrick Jacobstone will be arriving soon in Gaduridos for the peace talks with Lourenne, the conference that the Beiteynuese Government is most avidly focused on, as the Yeudish Neset continues to reposition itself under new policies.

Baltusia, Vanuku and Dolgava are in the process of formalising channels with Yishelem on this renewed platform.

Delegation arrives in Gaduridos for peace talks with Lourenne
August 5475

Image

Ciudad De Gadur, Gaduridos - Peace talks between Beiteynu and Lourenne have officially commenced in Gaduridos after some delays were observed due to the financial turmoils in both countries, as well as the security-centric crisis in the MSCO that the Beiteynuese Government has been directly dealing with.

The delegation consists of the Rosh HaMemshala himself, Mr. Jacobstone, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Miriam Gryn-Abramsky, the Head of the Medinat Department Sneakyeth Avodi, the Head of the Olami Trade Association as well as a plethora of Yeudish royals from the House of Elior, including but not limited to important figures from the Benowitz, Aristocrat, Tzafrir and Aristocrat-Goldbloom Houses, all with significant positions in the private sector.

Upon landing, Mr. Jacobstone echoed the Palace of Oisy's earlier statement that Beiteynu will also be pursuing the neutrality path in global affairs with notable exclusions to continue ensuring Yeudish interests and the prosperity of the Yeudi People across Terra.

He declined to comment further on the details.

[BACKDATED] Kundratijan President gets booed in the Knesset
February 5475

Image

Yishelem, Beiteynu - President Vespasiano Petralanda's seemingly heartfelt speech in the Knesset yesterday was evidently met with mixed feelings from representatives, with some nodding, some clapping and others... booing the Kundratijan President during and after his speech, to the point that the Knesset Chair had to call for order multiple times - with 3 representatives from both the newly reformed HHB and the Yeudish Lobbyists being escorted out of chambers.

Although President Petralanda made several apologies and vowed to pay for the damages that the Kundratijan military inflicted upon the Yeudi People, both figuratively and literally, most representatives seemed to be impervious to his words, echoing popular sentiment on the deep cuts of the betrayal.

"Kundrati not only cost us the war", Lilian Benowitz, a Yeudish Lobbyist remarked, "but they betrayed a 200-year-old alliance and attacked and killed Yeudi People, after all we have done for them. This is inexcusable and not something that we will soon forget in this country".

The Jacobstone Administration confirmed it will consider reparations, however, Yeudish intelligence seems to be on high alert pertaining to Kundratijan movements, advising both the Medinat Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs itself to "sit tight".

Yishelem to terminate mutual defence pact with Fort William
August 5475

Image

Fort William, Luthori - With most high-ranking officials in the Jacobstone Administration otherwise engaged in multiple conferences and meetings across the world in the aftermath of the Beiteynuese-Lourennais tensions, Deputy Head of the Medinat Department travelled yesterday afternoon to Fort William to meet with his counterparts in the Luthorian Government and convey Yishelem's wish to terminate the mutual defence pact with the Empire, the one that has been in effect since 5362. Coupled with the prior termination of the Beikun Alliance and the introduction of the Yishelhafen Pact with Narikaton & Darnussia, this latest move from the Homeland seems to confirm its newly found path towards a more "protected circle" of allegiances in the Yeudish Neset.

The Deputy Head was bombarded by the media upon exiting the Beiteynuese Embassy to meet with the Luthorian Government.

The Yeudi People and the Yeudi Homeland convey our outmost gratitude to the Empire for their support in the aftermath of the Kundratijan attack that resulted in the devastating destruction of the Kasari (Imperial) Carrier Strike Group that cost the lives of thousands and the loss of billions.

However, that could have happened under a simple partnership framework; so why do we need a military alliance if our allies don't move to protect us?

After all, there has always been resistance to even work at the base of levels that is partnerships on military equipment and research and development.

While we do understand Fort William's inclinations to avoid any confrontation with the United Kingdom of Lourenne while the war was taking place, however, not only there are always multiple ways of honouring a mutual defence pact but what of the Kundratijan attack?

Kundrati made chaotic moves in Artania, we were forced to issue not 1, but 2 Azharas to Kasaema, and then the Kundratijan military attacked and killed Yeudi People without provocation. Where was any reaction, any sense of order and containment or any feeling of allied protection or even deterrence during all of this?

With our sincere respects to both the Empire and the Emperor and Meleh of the Yeudi Homeland, but as the Beiteynuese Government moves to reassess its allegiances in the Yeudish Neset all across the world, we feel it prudent to withdraw and steer away from the mess of Artanian security affairs.

We hope that Fort William continues cordial relations with the Homeland, just as we are more than willing to do.

NRA/5476 is expected to hit the Knesset floor next year, apparently leaving room for negotiations.

Vanukean House of Banmek-Sntazed inherits legacy of Elior
June 5476

Image

Rishon Le Hofesh, Beiteynu - Amidst the barrage of sad, desperate and crushing recession headlines dominating newsfeeds since the end of hostilities between Beiteynu and Lourenne, a happy one takes the spotlight with the simultaneous weddings of 2 Vanukean princes from the House of Banmek-Sntazed with the 2 beautiful daughters of Leonard Keshef, the banking titan from Rishon Le Hofesh.

Agatha and Christina met Pawl and Lazr at a cocktail party shortly after that curious bank robbery that saw Ashalon Bank BEIFG - which Leonard maintains extensive shares in various of its subsidiaries - get robbed off of a ludicrous amount of 12B BEI in a high-stakes operation that has police stomped.

Both princes are scheduled to be onboarded in the Palace of Moreshet (Heritage) on areas revolving around the Yeudi Heritage, the royal roles and mandates of the Yeudi Monarchy, as well as the notorious lore of the House of Elior and Elior's legacy of the 8 Gems itself.

For now, the newlyweds are vacationing in Yingdala.

Altatepec talks indicate tectonic shift to imposed neutrality
June 5476

Ciudad De Gadur, Gaduridos - With talks between Beiteynu and Lourenne now well underway, the agenda seems to include Seleya, Canrillaise-Yeudish relations and the future of alliances and allegiances in foreign policy; opening statements by both sides indicate a potential tectonic shift to imposed neutrality.

Starting with Seleya, where it all began, almost 2 centuries ago and, some claim, thousands of years ago.

Yeudis flock en masse to Vanuku for exhibit of 3 of the 8 Gems
October 5476

Wiel, Vanuku - United Medinat, Bei Airlines and other international airliners from the Yeudish Neset have reported an exponential increase in flights from Beiteynu and around the world to Vanuku, after the recent shocking announcement that 3 of the legendary 8 Gems of Elior's legacy and the pinnacle of the Yeudi Heritage would be exhibited in the Museum of National History in Wiel last month.

Researchers and historians from the Archaic Museum of Yishelem have also requested special permission to examine and verify the authenticity of these gems, just as they did for the Yeudi Crown of 8 Gems (missing the gems) back in 5387, when AIG unveiled it shortly before Elias Ishmael IV's ascension to the throne.

A controversy also seems to be rising as the Kingdom of Wrnuke has barred entry to the Emperor of Luthori, who's currently the Meleh of the Yeudi Homeland, in what experts and analysts alike seem to consider as a direct challenge by "forces that be" to Luthorian influence in the Yeudish Neset and beyond it.

Looks like Gem Publishing and the wild conspiracy theorists got it right.

Theodore Aristocrat had in fact given Jacquil Debua 1 of the 8, a bastard of the Lourennais House of Orleans-Vasser, almost 3000 years ago. And then Nefariouiem Aristocrat gave Princess Helene during the wedding... 1 more? It is a widely known fact that the banking giants of the Aristocrat House are extremely tied to the world of Canrille and its money, but, why did they give away the gems?

Vanukean media seems to also claim that Vanuku had 1 already in its possession for decades; but as far as we can tell neither Gem Publishing nor the House of Elior - which was unavailable for comment, including the Palace of Moreshet (Heritage) - have unveiled the whereabouts of other gems.

Which only makes it logical to assume that the 2nd book's claims are also real; and Kundrati has 1 of the 8.

As well as the series's claims that there is, in fact, a widespread Yeudish conspiracy.

But, to what end?
