The Grænnhöfn International Film Festival took place from October 21st to 25th this year, three presentations were shown in the halls of the Skorri Dónaldsson Center for the Performing Arts during those first two days of the festival, which were awarded on the final day of the festival. The most acclaimed was the film Sea Lion, Kundrati's submission to the festival which won the Platinum Reindeer Award and the Festival's Grand Jury Awards, which is considered the Festival's most renowned award. While the other films, such as The Memorial Project and The Colonizer, also received public and critical acclaim, they were not at the same level as Sea Lion. On the third day of the festival, classics from the participating countries were shown.


Sea Lion, the Kundrati film that won the Platinum Reindeer Award and the GIFF's Grand Jury Award

The plot of the Grand Jury Award winner follows Roberto Gromius, a soldier during the Kundrati War of Secession. He is deployed during Operation Sea Lion. The operation was an attempted landing in northern Peghonai. The attack plot was discovered by members of the Integralist Republic of Kundrati, and so the attack was expected. When they land in Peghonai, the beaches are empty. The forces from the Kundrati Union push in as they encounter little to no resistance and they set camp. After a few days of progress, the forces of the Integralists ambush the landing group. The Union soldiers are unprepared and they are pushed back constantly. They get pushed back all the way to the beaches. They are slowly able to go back to their ships, only to be continuously bombarded by Integralist planes.

Roberto's squad originally consisted of he and other seven. They work together to try and survive the sudden ambush, trying to get back to their families. As the conflict continues, they slowly die or disappear, leaving Roberto alone at the end of the movie. He dies in the movie's end when the ship he is in is reached by a bomb.

Regarding the awards during the last day of the Festival, with the exception of the Grand Jury Award, the awards were distributed in three levels: Platinum, Gold and Silver, with Platinum being the first place. Here is a list of the winners of the different awards.

With the realization of this first festival, the Organizing Committee declared that the next edition of the Festival will be held in October next year and hopes that next year there will be more films for the Festival, especially those countries that did not get to present their films can do so next year. With this, the Festival's Organizing Committee presented the logo of the next edition at the Festival's Award Ceremony on October 25th.

TELAMON EXPANDS ITS WELFARE PROGRAM

Chancellor Dvalinsson announces the expansion of the welfare program at the Þing Samfylkingarinnar

Today, the Chancellor of the Confederation, Hjallkár Dvalinsson, announced before the Þing Samfylkingarinnar that the nation's welfare program would be expanded. The program, which has remained unchanged since 4872, was subject to renewal and expansion due to Telamon's entry into various treaties between 4870 and 4886. The program will seek to benefit the citizens of Telamon in matters such as education, labor and health. The program will also include labor unions, immigrants, small businesses, the entire public sector and a portion of the private sector.

It was also announced that it will be easier to register for this system, for this the Telamon Government opened a special page for registration from the individual and family part to the registration of unions of workers, immigrants and elderly people. The program will work to get those registered, the points given above, facilitating access to education, work, health system, among others. Dvalinsson clarified that the program is already underway and is expected to facilitate access to these programs. Dvalinsson also announced that an enhanced university scholarship program is expected to open soon for both Telamon nationals and nationals of Telamon allied countries such as Endralon, Narikaton, Kundrati and Davostan.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS PRESENTS NEW PASSPORT

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced an overlay of the national passport, however this overlay turned out to be a new passport that will facilitate the access of Telamon residents to other countries. Foreign Affairs announced that this new biometric passport, with a microchip created by Carlsson Systems, will make it easier for the resident's image and passport data to be protected against the pirate sale of passports in other countries, and will enable this biometric technology to easily register incoming and outgoing Telamonian passports at airports and at the border with Hutori and Davostan.

Foreign Affairs announced that passports issued prior to the new ones will continue to be used until the expiration date (a period of 10 years), so those who have a passport issued prior to the new ones will be able to continue traveling until the passport expires without any problem.

TELAMON STATIONS TROOPS IN NARIKATON AND DARNUSSIA AGAINST POSSIBLE ATTACK BY HOBRAZIA

Narikaton and Darnussia has been a historical friend and ally of Telamon. Recently the Secretary General of the Republic of Narikaton and Darnussia, Hans Von Fritz, contacted Chancellor Dvalinsson to discuss the Telamon-Narikaton history and to tell him about the possible attack by Hobrazia. As the highest military authority rests with the Government and its respective Head of Government, Dvalinsson assured Secretary General Von Fritz that he would send troops to Narikaton and Darnussia, since Hobrazia is unpredictable with its actions, as was the case at the World Congress when Hobrazia's representative baselessly accused the democratic nations of Terra.

In addition to being stationed in Narikaton, Telamon troops will conduct joint exercises with the Darnussian Army and Navy in the event of a Hobrazian attack. During their telephone meeting, both Chancellor Dvalinsson and Secretary General Von Fritz hope that the situation will not escalate, both clarified that the troops will be stationed in Narikaton and will be on the lookout for any movement they see on the Darnussian shores. The Telamonic troops will be stationed in Narikaton for an undetermined period of time and will collaborate with the Narikaton and Darnussian Armed Forces for that period of time.

TELAMONIC COMPANIES SEEK TO INVEST ABROAD

Several Telamon companies are looking to invest abroad in different companies and even establish themselves abroad in order to boost the economy of the host nation. These companies have brought an economic bonanza to Telamon and have expanded jobs in Telamon. These companies including LUDO Games will seek to bring jobs and a good economy to the host nation. From Grænnhöfn C.U., it is reported that they are thinking of investing in Midway, however for now it seems to be a rumor, a rumor that may gain strength and even become a reality, we will have to wait and see what happens in the following months.

NEON Interactive, owner of the NEON World theme park and developer and publisher of video games, is also looking to invest abroad, its plans, as confirmed by company spokesman Ónar Múlason, are to open a video game development studio and to open a NEON World abroad. Samveldisvélar, Vikarsson and Hrafnbergsson Brothers Pictures will enter the market in Endralon. Vikarsson spokeswoman Marey Geraldsdóttir announced that they will partner with Hugamest Tech Group, Samveldisvélar will be the supplier of Dudva Private Transporting Vehicles Company and will build a factory in Endralon to manufacture parts and vehicles for the aforementioned company. Hrafnbergsson Brothers Pictures will partner with the Endralon Film Industry, prior to this, the film company partnered with LTG Group for the distribution of The Memorial Project in 4779. The future of this company in partnership with the Endralon film industry looks bright, so we expect to see new movies and series thanks to this partnership.

SEVERAL TELAMONIC COMPANIES TO INVEST IN MIDWAY

As confirmed by our insiders, several domestic companies will invest in Midway. Two years ago, there was a rumor that several companies were going to invest in Midway, but at that time, it was just a rumor that had a chance of becoming a reality. The companies will open new workplaces in the Dovanian nation and will also engage in modernization in various aspects, Samveldisvélar for example, will bring vehicle modernization to the nation and will open a factory and a branch in Midway to further open up labor in that nation. While Vikarsson will upgrade government and educational operating systems and will start selling its products in the country, the technology giant of Telamon plans to open a branch office in the country soon.

DANTESDÓTTIR GROUP IN RISK OF FORCED TAKEOVER

Telamon's largest conglomerate, the Dantesdóttir Group has been under the national spotlight due to the possible and highly controversial forced takeover by Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson, son of Vilhelm Dantesson, former CEO of the company and son of the conglomerate's founder Valhildur Dantesdóttir, and half-brother of Rudy Dantesson, the company's current CEO. Rudy Dantesson himself has earned the respect of his employees and, being elected by the members of the Board of Directors, is legally the CEO of the company, a trend that has apparently not changed with the majority of the Board members. However, dishonest Board members have given their support to L. R. Dantesson, who could conceivably be CEO if the Board so desired, but this is outside the legality within the company.

The Dantesdóttir Employees' Parliament, which is the conglomerate's labor union, has called on Rudy Dantesson to get his act together, since if such an unfortunate event were to happen, the company could suffer major consequences such as closure due to bankruptcy, it should be noted that this union has a high regard for Dantesson. The Department of Trade and Industry may send a special rapporteur in the event of a forced takeover, according to Department spokesman Lórens Saxason. For now, the conglomerate is living in a tense calm, which is likely to be shaken in an indeterminate time, experts say that the possible takeover should not be ruled out and, if it happens, it would be stopped with the help of the Special Rapporteur sent to supervise the situation.

As confirmed by Alexson's close friend Nökkvi Dómaldason, the acclaimed filmmaker and creator of the Guerrilla and Days of our Lives series, died today at the age of 39 in a car accident outside Fiskimennhöfn, Alexson was filming his upcoming music film "Hæfileiki! "which he wrote and directed more than half of, as confirmed by Hrafnbergsson Brothers Pictures, Alexson will be replaced by another close friend of his, director Jens Alexíusarson who will direct the remaining part of the film and supervise post-production.

Alexíusarson clarified that the film will be dedicated to Alexson. Alexíusarson will receive director's credit together with Alexson as he will direct the remaining part of the film and supervise post-production and, according to the Telamon Filmmakers Guild, he should receive joint credit with the late Alexson as he took over after the death of the previous director. Tælmörkcast, the production house that greenlit Guerrilla and broadcast it for its 4 seasons, will hold a funeral service inside the auditorium of its headquarters in Grænnhöfn, C.U.

As feared, Dantesdóttir Group undergoes a forced takeover

GRÆNNHÖFN, C.U. - Corporate experts feared a takeover by Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson, who has gained the support of a very small minority of the shareholder members of the Board of Directors, today Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson has succeeded in his bid for a takeover of the company. The young Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson has succeeded in his attempt to seize power in a manner which could not be considered legal both by the company's Corporate Charter and the provisions of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The Dantesdóttir Group could be considered a family company with the Dantesdóttir family being the owners of Telamon's largest conglomerate. So it could be said that both Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson and Rudolf Dantesson, the current and legally considered CEO of the company, can occupy a seat on the Board of Directors as members and heirs of the Dantesdóttir family. Rudolf Dantesson, 40, was elected as CEO after his father retired from his position by the Board of Directors in 4887. Since joining the company, Rudolf Dantesson has been the favorite of both the Board of Directors and the employees of both the parent company and the subsidiaries of the conglomerate. Rudolf Dantesson's father, former CEO Vilhelm Dantesson, married a few years later to Sif Örvarsdóttir, with whom he had Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson, who, according to some experts, is now usurping the CEO position.

Upon learning that Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson had entered and was approaching his office with a document that would "remove" him from his position, Rudolf Dantesson followed the suggestions of the employee members of the Dantesdóttir Employee Parliament to call the Ministry of Trade and Industry to send a Special Rapporteur to solve the forced seizure problem. As confirmed by the Minister of Trade and Industry Katrína Leonardósdóttir, the Ministry will send Jake Atlasarson as Special Rapporteur on the forced takeover. Atlasarson, a young man with a background in labor and industrial relations, is the one to inform, supervise and arrive at a peaceful solution to the solution, Atlasarson will have access to documents and minutes proving the election of Rudolf Dantesson as CEO. Atlasarson has clarified that he believes that Rudolf Dantesson was legally elected under the conglomerate's Corporate Charter and the provisions of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, however he will take a neutral position on the situation.If a peaceful solution is not reached, what Atlasarson has investigated and supervised will be reported to the Ministry who will decide the outcome of the situation, with Atlasarson giving a press conference related to what the Ministry of Trade and Industry has decided.

It could be said that this could have major consequences for the company and some experts say that there will be minor consequences for the economy at Telamon, however the latter is an expert hypothesis that was taken on the basis of the economic downturn caused by the trial of former President Alfons Wilhelmsson during the Wilhemsson and associates case, which had aftermath in the years 4857 and 4858 with the economy recovering in early 4859, however the experts do not see a recession as likely as the one caused by the Wilhemsson and Associates case, since more companies now support the economy, are independent of the conglomerate and follow the regulations set by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

RUDOLF DANTESSON RECOGNIZED AS CEO OF DANTESDÓTTIR GROUP AS TRADE AND INDUSTRY DECLARES FORCED TAKEOVER ILEGAL

Special Rapporteur Jake Atlasarson gives his statements on the forced takeover of the Dantesdóttir Group.

After 5 months of investigations, the Ministry of Trade and Industry has finally reached a decision, after Jake Atlasarson, the Special Rapporteur on the situation collected information regarding the forced takeover of the Dantesdóttir Group by Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson. The Atlasarson Report, as the Ministry of Trade and Industry has dubbed it, contains information that legally grants CEO recognition to businessman and philanthropist Rudolf Dantesson, who, having been elected to the position in 4887, has served as a leader who seeks to progress within the company and seek solutions together with the employees. Dantesson is the grandson of the conglomerate's founder Valhildur Dantesdóttir, and has served on the Board of Directors as a shareholder from 4877 until 4887 when he assumed the position of CEO. Rudolf Dantesson requested the assistance of Trade and Industry during the situation, he hoped that an agreement would be reached with his stepbrother, however, no agreement was reached since Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson did not want to accept the terms and conditions for the agreement, which led Atlasarson to write his report. In the Atlasarson compiled information regarding the election of Rudolf Dantesson as CEO, and in those documents he found something that Atlasarson skipped in his press conference to give priority to Minister Leonardósdóttir to state that point skipped by Atlasarson.

In his press conference Atlasarson stated that the forced removal of Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson was illegal, since Dantesson had been elected by the Board of Directors and the shareholders, which according to the regulations of the Ministry of Trade and Industry is illegal without the consent of the Board to remove him, something the Board of Directors did not want.

In a letter published on the website of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Minister Katrína Leonardósdóttir stated that the forced takeover of Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson is considered illegal because he resigned from his shares in the company, adding that he wanted to illegally appropriate funds from the company's income and donations to charities. According to the Trade and Industry Regulations drafted by the Ministry and approved at the end of 4858, they state in article 5, subsection 5B that in order to be declared CEO of the company the former CEO must retire or resign, and in the event that he is misappropriating funds, mistreating employees or abusing his powers as CEO, the entire board of directors must meet to remove him and appoint a replacement. In addition to the above, Article 10, subsection 10A states that the illegal appropriation of funds, whether from income, donations directed to charities or to the company, the salary of employees or funds directed for the maintenance of the company shall be subject to conviction by the financial, commercial and industrial authorities of the nation. In the letter, Leonardósdóttir acknowledges that Rudolf Dantesson is the CEO of the conglomerate in all legality, while his stepbrother Lárent Rökkvi Dantesson, 31, will suffer the legal consequences of usurping the position and could serve a sentence of up to 36 years.

GENERAL UXI KATÓSSON IS APPOINTED COMMANDER OF THE NACTO BASE IN TELAMON.

Telamon will be home to a new NACTO base in the Commonwealth of Suðreyja, with this the General Secretariat of NACTO has decided that the base commander will be a member of the Army of Telamon, the Government of Telamon as the highest military authority has appointed General Uxi Katósson as the Base Commander. Katósson is a prominent member of the Army of Telamon, in 4872 he was sent together with other soldiers to fight against terrorism and AFENS. Years later, Chancellor Jara Rúdólólfsdóttir promoted him to the rank of General and he served as High Commissioner of the Armed Forces from 4880 to 4886. Defense Minister Mýrkjartan Melrakkason stated that Katósson is the right person because of his experience within the Armed Forces and will bring exemplary leadership to the Base. According to the General Secretariat of NACTO, the base to be built will be located on the coasts of the Commonwealth of Suðreyja, the distribution of the soldiers will be 40% for Telamon and 30%-30% for Endralon and Davostan as a whole, this has been the confirmed for now by NACTO, the intergovernmental body ensures that more soldiers could join the base soon.

Per se, an even greater defense could be expected from the base that will benefit both Telamon and Davostan, the Mad Dog Ocean among other members of the NACTO, the base could also serve as training for some soldiers in Telamon who could do internships in this military settlement.

Two years after Volt Júlíansson's inauguration as Chancellor, both political scientists and the general public notice a difference between the current Chancellor and former Chancellor Thomas S. Kristleifsson. Since his start as Chancellor, Júlíansson has drafted a bill under his name to permanently suspend the use of nuclear missiles in warfare, the emergence of new green policies and the subsidization of national museums. This bill, called the Júlíansson Bill, was passed in January of last year and initiated the passage of several treaties and changes to Telamon's national policy. In less than two years, Telamon ratified its entry into the Lomba Agreements-Nations for Net 0 Greenhouse Gasses Emissions, it also ratified its entry to the International Agreement on Nuclear Non-Proliferation, better known as IANN, and its entry into the Reciprocal Healthcare Agreement. The environmentally friendly fuels that Telamon produces include biodiesel, green gas, hydrogen, and fossil-free fuels such as biokerosene. Most of the refineries in Telamon have adapted to the government's environmental policies. These environmental fuels will be exported to Endralon, who will also ship fuels to our nation and will be refined into environmental fuels to follow government policies regarding the environment.

This shows that the Telamon-Endralon alliance continues to be strengthened, with respect to the export a spokesman for the national oil company, the export of environmental fuels is a sign of gratitude to the Artanian nation, which they also thank for the shipment of fuel for our nation. TELAMON SELLS AIRCRAFT CARRIER TO NARIKATON AND DARNUSSIA

Telamon and Narikaton-Darnussia announced the purchase of an aircraft carrier created by the Telamon National Defense Company, which belongs to the country's Armed Forces. A prototype of the carrier appeared at the CESU military exercises, where it was a success among the Telamon Navy, so the NDC announced the mass production of the ship, with Narikaton being the first buyer of the ship.
