The Bipartisan Government has been formed!

Image
Milutin Nicin, The President of the Republic of Telamon -- Proposing a cabinet coalition

Milutin Nicin's proposal for a Bipartisan Government Coalition has passed, giving Telamon a whole new Government. As previously stated, participants in this Government are the DCD, RRP and DPT. "I have not included the Jewish Defense League, holding them not able to handle things. They did (on purpose or otherwise) ill for this country. No party that hasn't got at least one seat was not included, giving them time to gain more support of their voters. The Revolutionary Congress was in the original plan, but they refused part-taking in this Government, which I respect. Што на уму, то на друму. Finally, we were left with the DCD-RRP-DPT Government." states Nicin. "I am giving the place of Prime Minister to Mr Michael Garrish, the Chairman of the largest party, with respect to the will of the people. May luck find you on your steep way to the success of Telamon, Mr Garrish." he added.

The Government was proposed in this fashion:

Prime Minister Michael Garrish (Democratic Capitalist Delegation)
Foreign Affairs Minister Vojislav Krkljuš (Rightful Radical Party)
Internal Affairs Minister Marko Malinović (Democratic Party of Telamon)
Finance Minister Erick Johnson (Democratic Capitalist Delegation)
Defense Minister Branko Somic (Rightful Radical Party)
Justice Minister Elizabeth Shangraw (Democratic Capitalist Delegation)
Infrastructure and Transport Minister Whitney Jackson (Democratic Capitalist Delegation)
Health and Social Services Minister Miloš Stajić (Rightful Radical Party)
Education and Culture Minister Lauriane Thoma (Democratic Party of Telamon)
Science and Technology Minister Gordana Novak (Rightful Radical Party)
Food and Agriculture Minister Nigel Wellington (Democratic Capitalist Delegation)
Environment and Tourism Minister Juan Pueblo (Democratic Capitalist Delegation)
Trade and Industry Minister Heather Demps (Democratic Capitalist Delegation)

DCD=7 RRP=4 DPT=2

The Government is popularly called "The Blue Government" -- the colors of their parties being different shades of blue.

Lebowitz liar!
Mr Lebowitz lied to the people once again...

Image
Mr Lyingbowitz: Today's politics humor page

After strictly saying:
Lie, lie, lie, lie...
I am using this letter to say what needs to be said and to announce that I am going to be retiring from politics and take a Fellowship at the University of Telamon at Ferescia. I want to wish the future generations of politicians luck and hope that they will never play dirty games and try and smear their opponents.

Mr Lebowitz announced suddenly in Parliament that he is the Party Chairman. First, this shows that he lies to the people commonly, during his time of Official Government Acting and now. His character is week, he is not persistent neither decisive about anything. Mind you: he did not inform us of anything during the long time between his two showings in public, he just at one point plainly announced that he became Party Chairman, showing also very small interest in his own voters. From this point on, he may say anything for the press, but after a harsh letter concerning his resigning, he just at once shows up in Parliament some time later and says he is Party Chairman with no explanation at all -- it is imprinted in the history of modern day political era of Telamon - Lyingbowitz, the FA Minister.

OOC: Sorry if it is a little to harsh, but this is in order to make you people RP more.

Lebowitz killed Telamon-Kundrati Relations!

The former minister, Martin Lebowitz, informed me that the new minister refused to continue with the negotiations between our nations

(http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=264155)
Quote from the discussion in the Kundrati Senate

Not only did Mr Lebowitz lie on the issue of his retirement from politics, after further investigation one more lie was revealed. Mr Lebowitz after have stopped being FA Minister misinformed the Kundrati Officials speaking the words quoted. "I never said that I refuse to continue negotiations with Kundrati, this is an utter lie of Mr Lyingbowitz!" said Mr Krkljus. "He has destroyed Telamon-Kundrati relationships, and now I am working hard to repair them." Mr Nicin issued an official Presidential Condemnation to Mr Lebowitz, saying: "Telamon-Kundrati relationship really didn't need this, Lebowitz left a lot of mess before leaving."

Paula Moore warns RRP to keep out of Lodamese Affairs!

Image

Paula Moore today sent a warning to the Right Radical Party in Telamon to stay out of the affairs of Lodamun otherwise she will put the RNP on a platform policy of placing embargo's upon Telamon.

The move comes after the press release from President Milutin Nicin on behalf of the Telamonese Cabinet.

Politics in Lodamun is very volatile and it is very possible that the next elections could easily allow the RNP to gather enough support to impose Embargo's. However Paula Moore has said she would like the RRP to take this warning as she has always favoured improving links with Telamon and her colleague John Stevenson came close to that with the honourable Jewish Defence League and Democratic Capitalist Delegation who she believes are reasonable and can easily be worked with.

Nicin: A crime is a crime!
Milutin Nicin explains his doings...

Mr Milutin Nicin: I call upon the Legislature of Lodamun to deal with the criminal Rivers that raided the PM Office and established illegally a Prime Minister of the smallest party in the Parliament. This is internal crime and Lodamun was always known as a crime-punishment democratic state. End to the fascism of URP, power to the people of Lodamun!

Onward Lodamun!

To understand this people must first be informed of the following happening:
Louise Rivers Installs TSAP Prime Minister

PORT ANDALAY, ANDALAY (LBC) -- With no Defense Minister or Prime Minister to stop her, Louise Rivers raided the Executive Office of the Prime Minister and announced that the failure of the TSAP to propose and pass a cabinet has harmed the functioning of government." The TSAP has prefered to engauge in reckless constitutional rewriting that has harmed the long-term stability of governance rather than propose a cabinet to rule the Union," said Rivers in a television address from the Prime Minister's desk. "As Internal Affairs Minister I am charged with ensuring domestic stability and with a lack of Prime Minister and Defense Minister, with our increasingly confused and disoriented troops on the hostile border of Likatonia without leadership, orders, or command, I had to act. I will serve as caretakerPrime Minister until the TSAP can send a representitive to claim the post of caretaker Prime Minister or until Parliament passes a cabinet in accordance with our law."

President:
"This, by all means is an quite illegal act of utter nonsense. We in Telamon do not want to have international relationships with a Government that has a Prime Minister, member of the smallest party, that has been put to function by force. This is violation of Lodamese laws and I as the First Man of Telamon indicated that something ought to be done. The new coalition will ensure right is done for Lodamun. Rivers is a sore looser, that's sad but true. Power to the people of Lodamun!"
-- Milutin Nicin

RRP Officials:
"We are not afraid of putting an embargo on Lodamun, which we could do very easily. But, the RRP will never stand for an embargo against Lodamun, unless the criminal parties in Lodamun take more than 80% of the voters' votes. However, the RRP currently stands for an anti-RNP-URP policy! Down the URP and RNP!"

RRP: The largest party
By getting the most votes, the Rightful Radical Party now holds the position of the largest party.

Nicin beats Lebowitz

Image
Milutin Nicin: The President of Telamon... again!

Milutin Nicin was elected to his second term in the Presidential Cabinet, beating Martin Lyingbowitz Lebowitz 58.74% - 41.06%. Even though he was back-upped by the strong DCD, many political analysts think that this is an result of the previous "Truth Affairs" of Mr Lebowitz Lyingbowitz. "Don't lie to the people, Mr Lyingbowitz. But if you can't resist it - don't candidate for President" said Stefan Barna.

RRP plans cabinet reshuffle

"It is evident that the Cabinet needs reshuffling, seeing such drastic changes. I can't quite currently specify the structure of a new cabinet, but this one will not stand much longer." said Vojislav Krkljus. "Yes, it is definite that we need a new cabinet in order for Telamon to function." approved Nicin.

SIDONIA, SEVESCIA (TBC) - The Charter Parter has finally reemerged from what seems like death. After the Presidental Election of Seth T. Mackesy failed as he served a one-year term before Parliement voted for Early Elections. After key allies the Rightful Republican Party folded the Charter party was pretty much forced into isolation. However recently the Charter party as recently annouced resignation of two of there top Political Figures, former president Seth T. Mackesy and Ronald H. Fitzgerald who would have served as Prime Minister if he were elected. This caused a major shake up throughout the party but Joesph R. Clinton and Jason C. Kennedy stepped up to fill the positions and recently at a rally in Sevescia. Both Mr. Clinton and Mr. Kennedy were on hand but Mr. Clinton spoke to the crowd about the Corruption of the DCD.

    Joesph R. Clinton:
"The Democratic Capitalist Party has been empowered for to long and no one has seen the corruption they have caused trying to give local government too much power. The Charter Party is a advocate for Local Government to have responsabilites to have powers but the DCD has tried to give them the right to chose whether or not Beastiality is legal or not! And along with that they have recently tried to break-up wthe Republic with there Devolution Act, this can only mean one thing, They want to ruin our country and we the people of the REPUBLIC! of Telamon shall not stand for it, and We the Charter Party will fight and claw until they have no right to propose such a corrupt bill. So come 2031, the next election year, Don't get caught up in the lies of the DCD and their close friends in the Jewish Defense League, Vote Chartertarian, Vote Telamonian, ONWARD TELAMON!"

Mr. Clinto walked off the stage to a loud applause. The Charter Party seems to be back and unctioning but how long will it take until they reclaim a tight hold of the political realm of the Republic of Telamon? Only Time will tell.

DCD Fires Back

Postby DCD » Wed Oct 07, 2009 8:54 pm

Garrish Responds

Democratic Capitalist Delegation Chairman Michael Garrish revisited a past issue this when he responded to charges of corruption alleged by the Charter Party.

The claim that our pro-devolution legislation is somehow corrupt or an attempt to break up the Republic is absolutely preposterous. The whole idea behind a federal republic is that there is a division of responsibility between the central government and the local governments. The DCD in its Democratic Capitalist philosophy believes in the central government, but simply has a very defined role for the central government in the philosophy. Unfortunately, the talking heads of the Charter Party did not take the time or put forth the effort to familiarize themselves with our party ideology, let alone the ideology of a federal system in general, before making radical claims about our intentions in Parliament. Fortunately, the people did when they took to the polls, and their approval of our philosophy reflected in the election results.

Other top DCD party officials weighed in on the matter, including Minister of Justice Elizabeth Shangraw.

If the DCD is corrupt for proposing that more power should be allocated closer to the people, then what are the staunch Unitarian parties who would impose their morals and social beliefs on the whole country rather than letting each region decide for itself? Not to mention, the Charter Party was very quick to accept our invitation to serve alongside the DCD in the government for a party which makes such egregious claims about our corruption. That alone should be an excellent indicator to the people that even top officials within the Charter Party who were making these claims knew them to hold no merit.

The late DCD response to claims of corruption comes as the DCD is introducing a new wave of legislation to Parliament, none of which addresses the issue of devolution. Many political analysts believe that the releasing of these statements, in addition to serving as a pre-emptive attack on any party which may challenge the merits of the DCD's latest legislation, are intended to set the stage for another round of pro-devolution legislation. President Wellington, striking a very neutral tone on the matter, released only the following short statement:

Anytime charges of corruption are being made about any party, it is a very serious matter for consideration. This government does not take corruption lightly, and will investigate all serious claims on the matter. Because corruption is such a grave matter, accusations of such should not be made with haste or without proper evidence. I believe that in this case, both parties are merely doing what they believe to be looking out for the best interests of the people.

The TBC will continue to monitor this story as new developments emerge.

FERESCIA, FERENE - (TBC) The 84 Representives of the Charter party left Parliment today in a rut as 3 of the 5 bills (1 of which the Charter Party did vote yes on) the DCD proposed last Febuary were passed including such laws as the legalization of prositution and children are not made to sing the national anthem. Three key vocalist of the party, Jason C. Kennedy, Jacob C. Kennedy and Joesph R. Clinton commented while leaving the capital today. This is what Jacob C. Kennedy had to say.

    Jacob C. Kennedy
"They claim to not be corrupt then they turn around and propose suck a crazy bill. They say they are not trying to break up the Republic and they propse bills like these! Its a shame no one sees what directions they are going, i wouldn't be surprised to see them pass a bill to lengthen their presidentacy. This is a outrage and trust me when the time is right we'll make sure they pay for their crimes. What they have done is unconstituational and unpatriotict, making Prostitution legal and as a recognized profession? and then going as far as to saying Children don't have to sing the national anthem, can you say un patriotic? They think thats a good idea but its diffently not because look 10 year into the future, those kids will be adults and 'will think why should i have to say it now? I didn't have to 10 years ago' which after that the national anthem shall be obsolete... The only thing i can advise the Republic of Telamon to do is to vote Chartitarian next election, because a vote Chartitarian is a vote Telamonian. ONWARD TELAMON!"

Mr. Kennedy walked off to join his collegues as they procedding back to their headquaters in Sevescia.
