Telamon launches Operation Skilaði Hylli in Bindeborg, Hutori finishes off opposition in their territory, and Dorvik increases support.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Grænhöfn: After weeks and months of fighting, it looks like the beginning of the end for the tyrannical Kivonians—their leader was killed, their invasion of Hutori is falling apart, and their invasion of Telamon is all but defeated. With that in mind, Telamonic High Command, led by Her Majesty the High Queen and First Marshal Þrawnsson, have led Operation Skilaði Hylli, or Returned Favour in Luthorian, which is the re-invasion of the island province of Bindeborg. That's the same province that the Telamoners invaded and failed to hold just a few years ago. The second invasion of Bindeborg is a major success, with most of the Kivonian troops being distracted by the Hutorian push. The southern island of Bindeborg Proper is already under Telamonic control, and the northern island of Nyberg is predicted to fall soon after.
On the home front, things are going even better. Most Kivonian troops were defeated in their retreat back to the coastline to escape the Hutorian encirclement, and those remaining have holed up in various small towns, where they are prepared to wait out the rest of the winter. Luckily, after Order 2855 was executed, most of the civilians in those areas were evacuated to safer locations, meaning that the Telamonic Air Force is free to engage Kivonian-held areas without fear of civilian casualties (after those areas are checked for any leftover civilians).
On the Hutorian front, it hasn't been as great. Rumours are circulating that the Kivonian soldiers were ordered to take hostages, and in large numbers at that. The Hutorian army has been relentless in their push up until now, but no one knows how they'll react or deal with the alleged hostage situation. It seems to be a last act of desperation by the
de facto leader of Kivonia, the coward Julius Callus. Hopefully, with the Telamonic support planned to come into Hutori in the next few weeks, they can figure something out and resolve the situation.
