Is The Hutori Conservative Party A Group of Nazi Warmongerers? Evidence Says Yes

In a statement by the Telamon Intelligence Ministry leader Hayes Tillinghast shocking details have been revealed regarding the old and once powerful Hutori Conservative Party, a party with a richly decorated history in steering Hutori on a destructive and hateful path that only the recent valiant effrots of parties such as the Liberal Democrats and Progressive Conservatives have begun to curb. It has been revealed that not only does the HCP have roots in the Hutori Nazi Movemnt, which once dominated all Hutori, but that the HCP still had plans of conquest, even after the efforts at peace known as the Macon Pact. The HCP and their lieutenant party, the Imperial Democrats (who have been fully aware of the HCP's National Socialist orgins) seceeded from the Macon Pact, at the time this seemed coincidence, however the shocking truth has been leaked by a supposed member of the HCP's inner circle who has worked closely with them and gained the trust of the HCP for a long time, Hutori has plans to invade their long enemy of Telamon by manipulating the good nation of Luthori! All this while the commendable other parties of Hutori worked towards democracy and peace, both of which are enemies of the HCP and the Imperial "Democrats". It is common knowledge that the HCP has long been a proponent of the Hutori monarchy, and monarchy everywhere (shown when the HCP attempted to strongarm Telamon into reinstating a monarchy) absolute monarchy stands at an opposite end of absolute democracy, it is easily inferred where the HCP lies. Let us not forget the new Hutori Monarchist Party, while monarchy is not inherently evil and can be good this new party threatens to give the HCP the power it needs to execute their vile plan, using Luthori as a battering ram against democracy! It is an easy conclusion that the HCP is an enemy of all democracy in the world and will use any means possible to attain such an end. One must attach praise to to Liberal Democrats and the Proggresive Conservative Party for defending peace and democracy.

Formal Press Release: Hutori Conservative Party Exposed

The Telamoni government made a statement today, "There has been a leak of information in the Hutori minority government between the HCP and Imperial Democrats, ID now an extinct party. The following illegal plans were found: that HCP planned that once in government, they would seek alliances with the monarchist countries of Hulstria and Luthori by regular alliances along with probably marriage between the royal families. Then they would claim that Telamon belongs in the monarchy connected to these families to which it abolished many year ago. The issue of monarchy vs a legitimate democracy have already been seen with the Hutori-Telamon war in which HCP tried to impose a monarchy on Telamon. Needless to say, we won. Hutori and its new found allies would then cause war between them and Telamon therefore the Macon Pact, a peaceful endeavor to ease tensions between us and the Hutori but it was HCP that made Hutori leave.We have concluded that the HCP is a war mongering, anti-democratic,oppressive, Nazi regime as seen with the 3009 Hutori elections, that is trying to impose monarchy on Telamon and all other countries around the world. They must be stopped because it is not Hutori that is the problem here,they are a peacful people as seen with the HMP,which must be noted to be monarchist but yet peaceful, and the Liberal Democrats along with the Progressive Conservatives, it is rather the HCP that is the problem not them."

Telamon builds its military!

We, the TBC, inquired at the offices of Defence and Head of state, with no answer. This event is also occurring at the same time as Likatonia is building up its military which raises some questions in the international community.

Optimates Party(formerly known as Convergence and Union CIU) celebrates 100 years !

This year marks 100 years the Optimates party has influenced politics in Telamon, it being one of the most influential and historically altering parties in Telamon's history. In its 100 years, 77 of which they controlled Telamon's politics as the were the majority party. Through this time the decades old coalition agreement between the Optimates and National Imperial Party were formed Their founder and current leader to this day, Titus Cornelius Architectus (also known as Neil Sean Ettington), currently 118 years of age founding the party when 18, has been in control of Telamon throughout all these years and he is still to this day very sharp even with his age. He saw his party grow from 0% of the Senate to over 90% and has been the most influential man in Telamoni history and quite possibly in the world. We look back at the History shaped by this party from the Liberalization years of the Economy, to the BBB, to the war in Hutori and Macon Pact. Telamon Goes to War in Kalopia and Kafuristan!

When the government of Likatonia came to the Macon Pact Conferences today they requested help from all other members. Telamon joins as their military is already in overdrive and today when former Imperator Cornelius announced the war he stated, "The Golden Eagle has spread its wings and the world will see his might."

The whole quote addressing Likatonia is this:On behalf of the Telamoni government we will support your war with Kafuri and Kalopia. We have already blockaded them and as our military is in overdrive you have ALL of our Caeti(navy) and accipitres(airforce)to help. We begin bombing Kafuri immediately with our navy ready to help your forces. Also we are sending in the Praetorian Guard(spec ops) into Kalopia with the help of the Accipitres(airforce) to hunt down the militants and destroy them with short assistance of the Salamadrae(marines). Soon the full military will also intervene to help you and your cause. The Golden Eagle has spread its wings and the world will see his might.

Liberals Unite to Form Opposition Group

Telamonian exiles including liberal politicians and moderate industrialists met in the Hutorian capital Bekenial today and agreed the formation of a new political party and broad based opposition movement which will work to restore democracy to Telamon. Telamon has had a chequered recent history and since the fall of the imperial regime in 3203 Telamon has been ruled by a communist dictatorship, branded as the Democratic People's Republic. Industrialists and moderates fled the country in droves settling in many parts of Terra, most notably Hutori. Since then exiles and underground resistance groups within Telamon have been plagued by factionalism and infighting, lacking any centralised leadership. However, secret discussions have apparently been taking place over the past year between progressive and liberal factions and moderate industrialists and business people in an effort to try and find a way to resolve these differences. These talks came to fruition at today's meeting and means that for the first time since the creation of the Democratic People's Republic there is a united opposition bloc which stands opposed to the communist dictatorship. It also means the for the first time in centuries, Telamon has a united and coherent liberal/centre right political party.

In an attempt to capture popular support and to stress the historic importance of this agreement, the new political party is to be named the United Liberal Alliance. In so doing it is consciously echoing and claiming itself as the spiritual successor of the United Commonwealth Alliance - one of the great founding parties of modern Telamon, which brought about the downfall of the corrupt monarchy and the establishment of modern Telamonian democracy in 2036. Although the party was disbanded in 2438 after factional infighting and poor electoral performances, in its heyday it dominated Telamonian politics and was a major liberal force throughout Terra. It remains to be seen however, what success this new organisation will have in opposing the communist regime which seems fairly entrenched within Telamon at present.

Shock as Liberal 'Telamon Spring' Sweeps Communists from Power

The international community was stunned today by the sudden collapse of the the communist regime in Telamon, as the liberal opposition swept it from power in what some are already calling the 'Telamon Spring.' Since the founding of a broad based opposition group (the United Liberal Alliance) in November last year, the communist regime had come under increasing pressure to make concessions to its citizens and to permit elections within the country. Although these were reluctantly conceded, with the ULA opposition being permitted to contest them, and the regime agreed to abide by the results, it was thought that the restrictions imposed upon voters by the regime, combined with a massive vote rigging and intimidation operation by communist officials, would mean that there would be little chance of upset for the communist party. However, in a stunning act of defiance against the regime, and on a turnout of 77%, 76.58% of voters voted for the ULA and so sweeping the communists from power. Nationally every Republic, with the exception of Liroy, voted against the communist regime. Today, thousands of students and others came out onto the streets in the capital to call on the communist government to step down. Mobs, supported by sympathetic police units, siezed control of key buildings, such as the People's Assembly, in an effort to maintain pressure on the government to go. Faced with this overwhelming show of opposition, the communist government agreed to relinquish power and to step down from office.

Standing on the steps outside the Assembly building, John Simon, Leader of the United Liberal Alliance, proclaimed the end of the Democratic People's Republic and the establishment of the United Federal Republic of Telamon. He promised that an Alliance dominated Assembly would shortly pass new legislation to once again enshrine democratic rights within the Telamonian constitution and to dismantle the apparatus of the former communist state. He said, ' A new dawn has broken and freedom has been restored to Telamon. This once great nation will rise again as a beacon of liberty and democracy to the whole of Terra and we will prevail as we rebuild a just and tolerant society for the benefit of all Telamonians.'

Commentators are now eagerly awaiting details of the new government's legislative programme and longer term to see whether the new federal republic survives, as under the agreement by which the communist regime agreed to relinquish power, the Communist Party of Telamon was allowed to remain in existence. It therefore still remains a force within Telamonian politics and it will be interesting to see if it can rebuild itself and retake power. If it does, the question is then what next for Telamon?

The Constitutional Reform Act was officially passed today by the Transitional Assembly of Telamon (TAT), the temporary legislative body established by the United Liberal Alliance following their sweep to power last year. With the passage of the CRA, the former Democratic People's Republic was officially abolished and replaced by a new federal constitution establishing the United Federal Republic of Telamon. It was confirmed by the Act that the regions of Telamon will now once again be known as Provinces and will have significant autonomy to govern their own affairs. Central institutions have also been reformed, with the Head of State now known as the President. This is a largely ceremonial post under the new constitution, but with some powers over defence and foreign affairs, and with the right to appoint the government. The government will now be headed by the Prime Minister and will be accountable to the new legislature - Parliament. Ferescia has been formally restored as the Telamonian capital and the old region and city news were also restored. A new flag has been designed in recognition of the new state. The first act of the new government was to confirm that the state will be a multy party democracy ad that the Communist Party of Telamon will be allowed to remain a registered political party and to contest the next elections. The government is also expected to shortly announce its full legislative programme for the parliamentary term. this is expected to include the full restoration of civil liberties and measures to reopen the country to trade and investment, combined with a liberalisation of public services and industry opening Telamon up once again to private enterprise. The government is not, however, expected to be too radical at this stage give the huge task of managing the transition of the country from a single party communist state to an open, liberal democracy. Progress is therefore likely to be slow but steady.
