Ludwick Anderson Full Resignation

After a less then promised election out come for the Rutania Party Ludwick Anderson spoke at a large rally in the Capital, with "The Capital Stars" on full display.

Sadly this election has no gone as hoped, we have held our moderate position in the Assembly. In Port Seaborg Denis McGuire has divern us to victory, finally winning us back the Mayoral ship and winning the City! Lastly in the Presidenatle race I ran one of the hardest fights of my life battling with Ernst Tompkins for a spot in the second round. And we saw the support the country gave use 21% of the vote a increable turn out, our parties best election run since we last won the Presidency!!! However we only go close to the seconded round. Ernst Tompkins won a fair fight with 4% more in the vote then us. We were close, very close, to the second round, but that was not what I promised, I promised the Presidency..... I am a man of my word, as of last night I have resigned as Co-Leader of the Rutania Party.... Our party is on the rise again so do not fret I wish all of my sucssesers good luck in the coming future.

Backler Wins by very close Second Round, Takes over from Political Ally Stonebridge

The People of Rutania,

It is time for a change. I am ready to lead that change, and we are going to start unified.

My Cabinet Proposal will include the pros I see in everyone, due to their history in the legislature. It is important to me that in this new era of time, we set a new precedent that can be respected.

Firstly, Prime Minister will automatically go to the largest party. Even if its a party I disagree with, this is an important value we believe in. Then, incumbent positions will be considered. After that, the best people for the job will be put into spots.

I hope that the Assembly of Rutania will approve of the flag we have proposed to signal this new era.

Thank you for tuning in to this quick announcement, and have a great day!

Backler and Fisher Retire, New Leadership for the Liberal Party

After the communists barely missed a supermajority in the Assembly, Backler and Fisher finally decided to retire. The last words out of Backler's mouth was, "Them damn commies gonna f*** up our country."

Ever since the communists have held firm their grasp on the government, few Liberals existed with any experience.

There were only two left; Former Health and Human Services Minister Johnny MacDire, and Science and Technology Minister Kevin Willis. Both are past the retirement age, meaning that the Liberal Party will be in quite a debacle if they can not land any positions in Government in the next few elections.

Abysmal Head of State Election, but Favorable 'Realist' Coalition has first Success since Formation

While the election has awful results for the head of state, a new party emerged: The Rutanian Rural Party

Unknown to all, this party came from the ages as an Agrarian-styled party with responsible, center minded policies.

The Realist Coalition formed between the Liberal Party and the United Democratic Party of Rutania to defend against Communism, and avoided a constitutional amendment chain by four votes.

Now, since the RRP has now formed, the Realist Coalition opened its doors for them, and they decided to side with them.

The Realist Coalition has 419 out of 750 seats.

Upon this success, Liberal Party Leader Johnny Macdire announced that he would retire once one of the Liberal Party's five new cabinet officials could become a great deputy leader for Kevin Willis.

Whig Party reforms, prepares to take the National Stage in the 4356 Elections

Image
Michael Murdoch - Chairman of the Whig Party

The Whig Party which fell into obscurity in the 4330's has returned with Michael Murdoch leading the reformed party, Mr. Murdoch who leads a large fishing company in the state of Ardinia held a beer hall meeting with like-minded individuals in early 4355 where the group officially reformed the Whig Party. The party plans to contest the 4356 elections to bring conservative change to Rutania. Mr. Murdoch has been quoted saying that he is
fed up with watching the slow decline Rutania, and that he wont let morality become a thing of the past nor will he let his nation fall victim to miscegenation. Rutanian values, the Rutanian race, and Rutania's greatness must be saved from the toxic force of the Left-wing.

The Party is running on the following platform:
Reduce 'Red Tape' Regulations
Return to Traditional Rutanian Values
Defend Hosian Faith
Strengthen the Borders
Return Rutania to a position of strength and pride
Whig Party of Rutania

Realist Coalition takes an Unrealistic Hit

In a shock to many across the country, the People have chosen to cut the ruling coalition down to 51 seats to support the 3 most radical parties. The radical socialists and their minor coalition partner now have a solid majority, and the former coalition has eroded to nothing.

Johnny MacDire and Kevin Willis officially resign Liberal leadership in shame, and the Liberal Cabinet retires from their positions and reshuffles the party.

Nationalist Union Stuns On Election Night, Becoming Rutania's Third Largest Party

Image

The Nationalist Union have stunned many political pundits, becoming Rutania's third largest party. The party which was formed only a year and a half ago by billionaire oil magnate Herbert Rockwell, was only tipped to win less than 30 seats by many of Rutania's top political polls, however, the party stunned on election night, winning a staggering 109 seats, and asserted a far right resurgence in Rutanian politics.

The Nationalist Union and it's leader Herbert Rockwell have not been without controversy leading up to the election, with many labelling the party as racist, xenophobic, and anti semitic. Rockwell didn't deny these allegations during his election campaign, stating: "Call me what you like, I won't stop telling the truth".

This years elections have certainly seen a changing tide in the Rutanian right, with fellow far right party, the Whig Party storming in second place. The centre right Liberal Party suffered it's worst election result in history, winning less than 20 seats. Many of Rutania's right wing voters have been left frustrated with the Liberal Party's soft approach to immigration and the racial demographic shift. This election saw much of the Liberal Party's voters jump ship to far right parties such as the Whig's and the Nationalist Union. Despite the victory of the ruling far left party, the Democratic Socialist's, many feel that Rutania's political landscape is changing. With the overthrow of Rutania's establishment right, many feel that the new far right resurgence will better challenge the Democratic Socialist's in the 4360 elections.
