Death of Percy Herbert

Postby speckydave » Fri Oct 12, 2012 5:32 pm

Percy Herbert of the House of Herbert in Davostag has died on March 19 3378. He died of natural causes surrounded by his family in their personal residence at Castle Herbert in Darkuth, Davostag. Percy died at the age of 82 after a long career as a politician alongside his role in the Davostag Marine Corps. He described his proudest moment as the births of his 3 children, closely followed by his appointment as sergeant major of the Marine Corps.

His funeral is planned to take place in the former Imperial Palace in Asgardia before being buried with the other rulers of Davostag. All nobles from any country and Heads of States and Heads of Government are welcome to attend the funeral.

The new head of the House, Stephen Herbert, has announced he is moving the family, along with his arms manufacturing company, to Malivia to pursue new goals and to escape the memories of his father's death. The Herbert Duchy in Darkuth will remain under Herbert control until law changes in Davostag which stops land and titles being granted.

The Karavs will attend this funeral.
As Malivia is close to Beluzia, the Karavs will try to work with the Herbert family to secure mutual interests in the region.
Check out my latest Particracy project, and feel free to discuss it in the forums.

A spokesman for Lord Wrath himself has anounced that Malivia is eagerly awaiting the arrival of "fresh blood and arms".
