Foreign Ministry Condemns Indralan Attacks

AL-KASRAJ -- Today the Foreign Ministry of Kafuristan issued a condemnation against the Empire of Indrala and its actions in Dovani and Majatra. While Kafuristan is not currently in a position for any degree of intervention, the Foreign Ministry made clear that it stands firmly against Indrala.

Zardic forces located in Ingomu were attacked in total surprise and without any reason by the forces of Indrala. Closely following this assault, Indralan forces invaded Zardic territory in Dovani. Since November 7, just about every Brotherhood affiliate has jumped on board the Indralan imperial conquest of Dovani.

The aftermath of the Great Majatran War has seen the growth of the Vanguard internationally, and the Blue Lotus Movement is Indrala's Vanguard. The continued danger of the Vanguard and its international organization, the Brotherhood, has been proven yet again. Again a nation has come under attack for no reason, and their land occupied. First Kafuristan, now Zardugal. The Brotherhood talks of liberation, but the progression of history is consistently documenting the origin of aggression and belligerence on the side of the Brotherhood. They target liberal nations, where modernity and liberty are increasingly prominent. To the Brotherhood, any non-white nation that embraces capitalism and democracy is a colony, a puppet of the whites. As long as non-whites embrace freedom, the Brotherhood is angry and restless, desiring to subdue progress and segregate our societies into backwardness and totalitarianism.

Indrala has made their move, they've made even clearer the violent nature of the Brotherhood. Kafuristan stands by Zardugal and we condemn in entirety, the Empire of Indrala. Given our current internal political conditions, we are not in a situation where our support would be likely to pass the legislature. Our military is also not in a condition for large scale conflict outside our own borders. Nonetheless, we support the Zardic war effort and will do what we can to provide non-military aid to the effort and to assist civilians affected by the Indralan atrocities.

Beiteynu thinks about joining the war

Yishalem--Bloc Am Echad, Am Yeudi, Am Libre members have recently taken to the streets and to the media to advertise and reach the hearts of Beiteynians and members of the World Community, the plight of the Squbblian people and their need to return to their long distant relatives in Beiteynu. They have claimed that Luthori, Rilandor and Zardgul have treated the colonies horribly and have marginalized their inhabitants.

Today, in the Knesset Nelson Mendelson made an emotional speech:

We are our brothers keeper. We have a duty to keep our people safe. This includes the people of Squibble. The island continent of Squibble's inhabitants are direct relatives of the Yeudish people. Their native faith is almost identical to that of the Yeudish people. They are holders of knowledge and wisdom only known to those of the Motherland. 20% of Beiteynu is Squibblian or of Squibblian descent. Since the bloody crusade of Beiteynu, we have lost so much including our colonies. Luthori, Zardgul and Alduria stole our brothers in blood and faith from us. Luthori reacted with a threat of deteriorating all relations between the two nations. The FM openly has stated it does not care. Whether the Kingdom joins or not is a question even members of the Bloc don't even know.

Zardugal responds to Beiteynian accusations
The Zardic Foreign Minister, who also has authority over colonial affairs, responded to the accusations made by the Beiteynian government.

The Beiteynians do not have in their hearts concern for their 'brothers' in Zardic colonies. Their government is simply looking for an excuse to join in this war, and in addition to assisting Indralan aggression, they wish to further their own imperialistic, megalomaniacal dreams. They are wanting to spend lives in a futile battle for land that does not belong to them. Their disingenuity disgusts the people of Zardugal.
In addition to these less than noble intentions, the claims made by the Beiteynian government are simply falsehoods. They say that we have 'treated the colonies horribly'. We have not. The people of Terra will not be decieved by your lies and false claims. Under the rule of Zardugal, the colonies have prospered for the last few decades. The standard of living has increased to a level nearly equal to that enjoyed by inhabitants of Zardugal proper. The colonials have full civil rights. We see no factual basis for what the Beiteynians claim.
We have already become the victims of Indralan aggression. We have pledged to fight the Indralans, in our colonies, in the sea and the sky, and in Indrala itself, to punish them for what they have done. We have taken many steps to further our goal of ultimate victory We will not give up easily. The fact that Beiteynu is considering participation does not cow us or frighten us. Rather, it strengthens our resolve never to give up in the struggle for our rightful sovereignity and the liberty of our colonials.
Luthori is behind us. Kafuristan is behind us also. The free nations of Terra support our cause. Liberty will prevail, despite any challenges that it may face, and Zardugal will win out in the end. For the time being, the court of world opinion will tell the governments of Indrala and Beiteynu that they have been found wanting.

Indrala Warns Luthori

So far, the Great Empire of Indrala has never harbored ill feelings towards Luthori, not has she ever claimed Luthori's Dovani colonies. But the white devils better beware the wrath of Indrala and all the free peoples of Dovani and elsewhere should the declaration of war on us pass. If Luthori wishes to protect the tyranny of the degenerate republic of Zardugal, we shall show no mercy. Luthori prisoners will not be treated well, the settler civilians in the colonies will not be spared. Talmorschland and New Mordusia will fall, their men and children murdered, and their women used for the entertainment of our soldiers. There will be no white soul in Luthori's colonies that will live to tell of our wrath.
But we are, of course, a merciful and compassionate people. If Luthori continues to stand on the sidelines of this conflict, we shall continue to show them the same respect and goodwill we have always shown, and continue to regard the Holy Luthori Empire as our friends and allies.

Takanashi Warns against Civilian Assaults

ILIATHAR STRAIT, BAILON - Regarding the earlier Indralan warn towards the stance of Luthori, Takanashi Clan of Bailon, who has organised a joint humanitarian massion towards the affect warzone, stated that assaults and threats towards civilians will not be tolerated.

"While the statement by the Indralan Foreign Minister is mot without ground, we believe that what the government does should not be blamed on the civilian, and the threats made by Prince Cao Yiji towards the settlers are highly inappropriate." Said Iroha Takanashi, the Grand Stewardess of Takanashi Clan. "Although unarmed, we will protect the civilians if such assault by any side comes into reality, with our flesh and blood if this is what the attackers wish so."

Akane Takanashi, wife of the reigning Indralan Emperor, as well as the speaker for the humanitarian mission in Indrala, has not release any statement regarding it. However, insiders have released her plan to go to the frontline to help the humanitarian mission, but nothing has been confirmed so far.

Davograd and Kazulian troops are on standby guarding the Kazulian colonies on the southern border from any incursion. The current position of Davostag is to remain neutral in this conflict while the new government structures are being put in place in the colonies. However, Davostag shall agree to fight for either side if an agreement can be made. Davostag and Kazulia are also considering attacks against Barmenian forces if they appear anywhere on the Dovani continent.

Luthori: Indrala "welcome to try"

The Imperial Seal-Bearer, his Highness the Grand Duke of Tinako, Henry Scrope, gave a combative reply to Indralan threats today, when asked about them on the floor of the Diet. He said:

Mr. Speaker,

Far be it from me to comment on every foam-flecked utterance that comes out of Indrala, but I fear this latest ranting deserves some riposte, if only to put the minds of Luthori subjects at ease. Allow me to lay out a few facts in rejoinder to the Mr Yiji, the Indralan pajandrum responsible for this utterance. The armed forces of the Holy Luthori Empire outnumber those of Indrala three-to-two. The Luthori Pound is worth almost thirteen Indralan Shipar. The defence budget of the Holy Luthori Empire is almost a fifth of the entire GDP of Indrala. I fear that the Indralan Poobah is more capable of making threats than he is of following them through.

As for his threat to mistreat prisoners of war, Mr. Speaker, what can one expect of barbarians but barbarism? It is not the policy of this government, nor shall it be, to deviate from that good treatment of prisoners-of-war for which this great nation is renowned throughout Terra. If Indrala wishes to show the world that its execrable sense of ethics extends to its treatment of men as well as nations, then so be it. The Holy Luthori Empire's moral character is in no way impinged upon by the misdemeanours of other nations.

Zardugal threatens retaliation in the event of Indrala atrocities
The Zardic Foreign Minister stated this morning that if Indrala did carry out - or, given combined Luthori and Zardic power, attempt to carry out - its threats, Indrala would suffer severe consequences. The Foreign Minister's statement came on the heels of international condemnation of Indrala's threats of atrocities.

Indrala has threatened crimes against humanity and war crimes if Luthori comes to our assistance in the war. They state that in the event of Luthori intervention, POWs will be mistreated, colonial men and children will be slaughtered discriminately, and women will be raped and otherwise used for 'entertainment'. They further claim that not a single living person will remain in the colonies after their massacres.

These threats of violence are clearly unacceptable, both illegal and gravely immoral. Zardugal should not tolerate the possibility of such vicious violence against its people, and the people of Luthori. We are horrified and disgusted by the fact that any government of any country would consider committing such acts, and proclaim their intentions to the world without any shame at all. Their wanton barbarity and cold-hearted malice will not give them impunity in the eyes of Zardugal, nor the rest of the world, which has already condemned their threats.

We are not intimidated by these threats, and we doubt the ability of the Indralan military to act upon them. If, however, the Indralans do attempt to slaughter our civilians, and Luthori civilians, we will retaliate with far superior force. Already, nuclear missile bases are on full alert, and the Prime Minister has given his approval for a devastating nuclear strike against Indrala in the event of these atrocities happening.

We hope that it will not come to this. Zardugal is a nation of peace-loving people who do not desire to inflict pain and misery on others, rather unlike the Indralans. But, be warned - if you dare lay a finger on those that you have threatened to kill and mistreat, we will have little hesitation in pressing the switch.
