Malivians just as confused as Karavs
The Malivian government has released a statement today saying that they are just as confused as the Karavs as they did not order the killing. They have said that the officer who did the killing has been put in custody and is awaiting trial and probable execution.

It has also been reported that all remaining Malivian officers have departed the city to remain in a secure Malivian camp away from the rioting citizens of Iker Ado.

Parlos Decina "Goes Green" Again

The House Forstev has taken partial control of Parlos Decina. By the union's constitution, they're the legitimate rulers at the moment, however the Karavs are furious. Now that the Forstevs have control of Parlos Decina, they will likely weaken its defenses to allow North Beluz troops to enter its cities. Kristov IV is considering enforcing more strict federal control, something Karavs were never known to favour before. Regardless of Kristov IV's views, it's unlikely that he'll get the rest of his family to agree to vote in favour of a stronger federal government. It upsets him that the Forstevs have power over Parlos Decina's military, knowing that the Forstevs wouldn't mind an "invasion" from the North.

Skirmishes, between ADK and Forstev Army troops, have begun again with the "National Justice Army" trapped between them. Parlos Decina is again in a state of civil war, as Iker Ado and Iliathar have to compromise focus on their defence. Both the Forstevs and the Karavs have approximately 30% control each; about 25% is under the control of the House of Marvia, and 15% under the control of the Williams Family.

While the North still stands strong, the PSGH is losing support. It fell from 32 seats (in 3387) to 28 seats (in 3389).
The other parties are slowly gaining an edge, including the Liberal Socialist Party (funded by the Karavs), who gained 2 seats.

North Beluzia Defeated?

With the fall of Rebecca's regime, the North Beluz administration - that surrounded it - is likely to also crumble. Within North Beluzia, Rebecca has less than 25% support for her radical party; her party is no more popular than the Karav-backed Liberal Socialist Party.

The Karavs have the opportunity to use the Liberal Socialist Party to break down North Beluzia from the inside; but will they take advantage of it? Having control of Bailon, the home-state of the Karav Dynasty's founder, the Karavs have the potential to make a major comeback in Beluz politics after decades of doubt being cast on them through local and foreign media, notably the Blue Coalition conflict, Rebecca's recent rants, and the Solentian government under the Clarkes and Greenmirs.

The Karavs have managed to make friends with the Stanton House, and the Tory Party may be of help in forcing North Beluzia to re-join the union, however some political analysts in Iliathar say they doubt North Beluzia will be forced to re-join. Instead, there are plans for a confederation that accepts both aristocratic states (like the South) and fully-Republican states (like the North).

In other news, the Karavs have been able to win control of all 3 counties in the Beluz Union, re-affirming the people's confidence in them. They still maintain control of almost 40 seats in the federal council.
