Mordorstad Won't Back Down

King Sagul has ordered the Mordor Bank to refuse any Barmenian requests to take the funds owed. King Sagul was appointed King of Mordorstad in 3310 as a compromise to the Satanic Republican Remnant which is a third party in Davostag. In recent elections, the SRP has become successful in the Mordorstad/Muronian regions gaining pluralities but not majorities against the Royalist coalition. Still, King Sagul sends his ambassador to the Barmenian forces. Sagul's forces are entirely in army infantry and the barracks are located underground making it difficult to attack them with even bunker busting bombs. The volcanic ash that spews from the active volcano also makes it difficult for Barmenian pilots.

Further Report on Deltarian Casualties and Withdrawn Forces

After the most recent statement by the Deltarian government official numbers have been given on the lost and withdrawn ships of the Deltarian Navy in Davostag. The report was released by the government this morning:

Today it has been decided that an official disclosure should be made about the lost and deactivated ships in the Deltarian Navy

While it is considered by many good that 3 ships were withdrawn, it may have had a comparably averse affect to that of the lost ships, as withdrawn ships reduces the morale of the remaining ships of the blockade. This is coupled with the fact that the Deltarian government is beginning to have doubts about its extremely active role in the war:

While I do consider that the Deltarian and Barmenian government have taken the rectitudinous position, we are beginning to reconsider if our role in this conflict is to great, and if instead we should withdraw direct and immediately tangible support from the vicinity of of the immediate conflict. "The Pontesi Help Act is a huge and unseen effort to support Barmenia in the fight against the criminal and dangerous activities of Davostag. As long as Selucia is not yet in the war, we will take the necessary steps to help our aillies.
Therefore we have passed this act on which Barmenia can buy weapons, ships, boats or other fighting equipment without having to pay for them or they pay for them later. Apart from that, Selucia will open harbours and airfields for all ships and planes of Barmenia and Deltaria for reparing and rescue purposes."said Princeps Senatus Ignazius Reich.

OOC: Davostag: Sure, the dice rolls will be fine.

IC: Along with the entry of Selucia into the war, in recent days we have also seen the Feline Homeland call upon the aid of the Majatran Union Paramilitary. The MU Paramilitary includes forces from parties in Cilandia, Jakania, and Barmenia. Extremely limited support comes from the remnants of parties in Beiteinu, Darnussia, Indrala, and Jelbania.

The Debt Collection Alliance now includes Barmenia, Deltaria, Selucia, the Majatran Union, and the Majatran Union Paramilitary.

The Axis of Debt Default Advocates (as the Feline News Service calls them) currently includes Davostag (excluding the forces of the benevolent, cat loving, ex-President Medivh Evil) and Vanuku. It remains to be seen if Davostag's lawyers will successfully win pending courtcases that attempt to put an injunction on Majatran Union involvement in the war, and to activate International Monarchist League forces in their defense.


Frustration can be seen in this Barmenian courtroom as Davostag attempts to argue that their case should be heard in a Davostagi courtroom. Similiar scenes can be saw in Davostag as Barmenian barristers argue that the case should be heard in a Barmenian courtroom. Neither side is willing to acknowledge the other side's courts as legitimate.

The lack of overt IML or ATR interference in this War of Debt Collection and Financial Stability puzzles many observers.

In recent days Barmenian ministers have blamed Davostagi assassins for the disappearance of the legislators of the international powerplayer the Union Socialism Alliance. The recent disappearance of the Socialists have caused anarchy to breakout in Free Gaduridos, and left its parliament empty. Davostag has yet to respond to these allegations.

Davostag claims credit for the assassination of the Union Socialism Alliance legislators. The party had been the IML's #1 enemy and His Imperial Highness Christian I is pleased that a new government has taken power there. Meanwhile, the first battle between the Barmenians and the Satanic Remnant ended in a tie despite superior air and artillery power from the Barmenian side. The soldiers of Mordorstad under King Sagul surrounded a large force of Barmenians and then destroyed them. The Barmenian's counter attacked with air support from their base on Muronia. The Mordorstadians were forced to retreat behind their walls concluding the battle.

Deltaria strengthens blockade!

After the recent elections in Deltaria the Deltarian Union for Conservative Economy won 100% of the seats in the National Forum, making Deltaria into a one party state for the first time in years. With complete control over the government DUCE has decided to raise the number of troops blockading Morona and Mordorstad from 500,000 to 550,000. This move came after an announcement by the Premier of Deltaria that it would be exerting more pressure on Davostag to repay the loan on the United Network (UN).

OOC: I know that in the elections the voter turnout went down. It did not, however, go bellow 500,000, which is the number of troops in Davostag. When it goes bellow the new 550,000 (which it will), then I will actually have a troop loss.

Count's Father Calls For Objecive-Based War

The reason I supported Davostag was that the Barmenians made unfair demands of the new regime, however objectives need to be set straight. It would be unethical to plunder Davostag to nothing without reason; we need to restore the more experienced regime so that Davostag can be prosperous again. This should not be a war necessarily directed in hatred of the current regime, but instead in preference of the older one.
