IC: Imperial King Christian I has lost patience with the Satanic Republican Remnant in Modorstad and their refusal to sign the loyalty oath. The House of Thor and the House of Zachary have allied to fight the SRP at Mordorstad and force a settlement with the Barmenians. The House of Strom, Durin, and Eorl have also declared war against the Satanic Republican Remnant.

King Theoben of the House of Eorl of the Imperial Kingdom of Darkuth took the first charge against the forces of darkness. The defending Satanic Republican Remnant collided with the royalist forces in a bloody battle. Soldiers on both sides fought hand to hand combat, the mixing of the two sides made it difficult to determine who was on what side. King Sagul personally led the Satanic Republicans and killed King Theoben in a duel.

Command then went to Duke Eomer, the King's nephew. Shortly after King Sagul's duel with King Theoben, he was struck down by Duchess Eowyn who had sneaked into the battle without her brother or uncle knowing. With King Sagul dead, the SRP went into a full retreat.

Davostag bombers pounded the Mordorstad base leaving it in ruins and destroying all of its defensive equipment. The barracks holding Mordorstad soldiers were completely destroyed by fire. Davostag fighters also destroyed a nearby dam flooding the area.

At the end of the battle, the royalists suffered 26,000 casualties to the Satanic Remnant's 36,000. With King Sagul dead, his HOG adviser and counselor Grim Angsar was forced to surrender to the royalists. As a condition, accountants were allowed to examine the financial records of the Satanic Remnant which was covered in a single scroll of parchment. The numbers were found to be inaccurate, forged, and fabricated. In return for Grim's surrender, he was allowed to continue as the next King of Mordorstad.

Imperial King Christian I Proposes New Plan

Imperial King Christian I proposes that Mordorstad be leased to the Barmenians for 15 years to repay the Barmenians for debts incurred by the previous Satanic regime. Relations are to be normalized and the sea shall be free for both nations. As a condition, King Elect Grim of the House of Angsar would be the Barmenian puppet leader to administer Mordorstad's domestic affairs. All taxation coming from Mordorstad may go to Barmenia.

Imperial King Proposes Peace

With Davostag finally willing to negotiate, we find it proper at this time to begin formal peacetalks. Assuming that Davostag and our allies in Deltaria (and Selucia, the Majatran Union, and the Majatran Union Paramilitary) agree, we will start a round of formal talks to be held at the Conference Center City in Ikegaru, Barmenia.

It would be in Davostag's interests for the talks to be held there, because the Conference Center City is owned by the Ikegaru Development Corporation, which is a company on Davostag's stock exchange.

We hope for Vanuku to also be included in the talks. If not a seperate accord of peace between the Debt Collection Alliance and Vanuku will have to be negotiated.

Davostag sends Foreign Affairs Minister and Royal King of Tarekha Thurmond I to represent Davostag in Barmenia. Imperial Prince Aleksander I, son of Prince Harrisen I will be an observer during the proceedings. Davostag approves of the location and will be sending its Imperial Guard for security of the Imperials and Royals.

Davostag and Kazulia have declared war on Barmenia to retake Mordorstad from their occupation. The allied force is under the command of Imperial King Harrisen I with Royal King of Kivonah Matthew on the Kazulia side. Davostag will be blockading Mordorstad while sending leaflets to the citizens of Mordorstad to rebel. A response from Barmenia has not yet been made and Davostag will start building up more allies for an eventually invasion of Barmenian soil.

Good Heavenly Cats, these Thorists cannot be serious. The Barmenian lease here expires in 3 years after which we will withdraw peacefully. A second war would be disasterious to the shared trading economy that we have worked to foster between Barmenia and Davostag. And for the Davostagi credit rating.

Today, Gev. Keshet Stevens (KSA), Foreign Minister of the Yeudish Kingdom of Beiteynu was asked by a member of the Press about the Barmenistan/Davostag conflict.

Press Member: How will the Kingdom respond to the threat of war between Barmenistan and Davostag, seeing that the Kingdom is in the middle being an ally of Barmenistan and being both royally and diplomatically tied with Davostag.

Gev. Stevens: Beiteynu will stay out of this conflict. The treaty between us and Davostad states, "when another nation attacks one of the included nations, Davostag or Beitenyu will assist the attacked nation." That means that if Davostag attacks Barmenia we have the right to remain neutral. We expel any and all military forces that fly through and/or walk through Beiteynian airspace or Territory.

Davostag Navy Pounds Mordorstad

With little regard to the Mordorstad civilians who in turn have little loyalty to the Imperial government, the Davostag Navy has pounded Barmenian positions on Mordorstad. With Barmenian civilian contractors and military personal trapped on the island, they can only hope but to use Mordorstad's caves to survive. An amphibious assault is planned for the island itself. Meanwhile, the rest of the fleet is gathering for an attack on Barmenian territory as revenge for the humiliation of the Barmenian invasion years prior.

The Grand National Assembly of Jakania, has approved the mobilization of Jakania's Navy. Grand Vizier Antonio Vaschez says that the navy will cooperate with Davostag's navy. However, Admiral of the Fleet Agrajeeta Imual warned that if peace with Barmenia is not achieved by December 3346, Jakania will withdraw from the war.

Grand Vizier Antonio Vaschez urges all Jakanians to flock to the military and fight the Barmenians and their dumb cats! 60,000 men have so far volunteered for service. Vaschez refuses to mobilize the entire army.

Luthori has called for an end to the bloodshed, which Luthori Foreign Secretary Gerard Redmayne has described as "pointless" and "apalling". Mr. Redmayne said that he called on all delegate to agree to a ceasefire, and that Luthori wishes to aid in any way possible in finding an end to this war which is "mutually acceptable to all sides". He added that the Autumn Palace at Sondavita had been made available for negotiations, should the parties to the conflict agree.
