OOC: I don't take issue anymore. I said before that the maps may show that it enters territorial waters but it doesn't in reality. People just don't read.

IC: Lodamun agrees with the statements made by Mr. Harry McCormack.

As far as the Hulstrian situation goes, the Hulstrian government has already been contacted by our President and they know what to do and what our decision is with respect to this. Hulstria will have no convoy through the quarantine zone.

Also, there is an east to west passage outside of our quarantine zone, which has been re sized to make it simpler for vessels to go through those pathways.

I will also remind the gentleman from Hobrazia that this is not a blockade, this is a quarantine. Ships do go through after being inspected. We also would like to point out that you should read our rules of engagement for reference.

Thank you,

I don't quite understand this.

It's like Turkey issuing a quarantine between mainland Greece and the islands of the Aegean.

The waters between Telamon and Migadon are international waters. The area you have expressed concern (body of water) about is not under the control of Telamon. We do not, I repeat once again, we do not enter territorial waters. We respect the sovereignty of every country.

I'd like to see some legislation to that.

OOC: It's like claiming the sea between mainland Greece and Crete is restricted to international waters. Come on.

OOC: George, I have dealt with Telamon several times and I know the area very well (probably one of the few places in the freaking map that I can say I know where it is). That island is their territory but the territory in between is international. To be honest, you are the first person to ever say that it's theirs that I can recall.

IC: Legislation to what?

We would like to express our anxiety. The recent movements of Lodamese Navy near Telamon' s national water could seriously affect our economy and create tension between our nations, we don't understand because of this action, but we hope that Lodamum's government will give reassure us that Telamon' s national water won't be violate and also an explanation about this violation of international law.

Dear President Bentley,

As you know, our government is very friendly to Telamon and we consider you our friends. As states before, we are not going to violate any country's sovereign territory and I can assure you that shipping from and to Migadon is going to go smoothly. We have also created pathways for shipping to go uninterrupted and Telamon's shipping won't be affected at all.

You have our word that your sovereign territory will be respected at all times.I am sure that the Luthori government would express a similar feeling.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Kynes
Minister of Foreign Affairs
United Republics of Lodamun

OOC: I am leaving my office now (I actually have to do some work now), so I won't be able to reply until later today (more likely late tonight). Do not take this as a sign that I don't want to reply, I will get to it as soon as possible.

I am not sure if you were trying to be funny or not. I promised to myself that I wouldn't be mean or make a rude comment, so I won't say anything.
