"Sir, we've lost contact with Jazir", the sited man sadly said, "we believe that it was shot down." Aristocrat turned his head slightly to face him.

"Along with the rest of the air force? Are you crazy man? Every single fighter was shot down you mean?", he angrily asked, waiting for a reply. Seeing the ashamed look on the man's face, he widened his eyes with disbelief. "So you are telling me we lost 27 fighters and one bomber during an undercover stealth mission?", he shouted , spitting all over the place. Rodriguez, who was standing nearby, could not watch that disgusting scene. He stepped forward, revealing himself into Aristocrat's line of sight.

"Sir, we have been here long enough to expose ourselves to every surveillance available from the Pontesian military. Thus, we bombed two of their locations with nuclear weaponry, it's a miracle they haven't responded so far. I personally suggest a diplomatic delegation, since we have lost the element of surprise and there is no point in losing any more good men.", he slowly and steadily said, a hypnotic tone in his calm voice. But he was shocked to see Aristocrat's eyes widen even more, an expression only seen in madmen appearing in that old crippled face. Seconds passed, and Aristocrat seemed to be fighting a great internal struggle. When he spoke, he was even more crazier than before.

"How dare you!", came his wonderful voice echoing all over the ship, "How dare you defy my superiority and unquestionable judgement?!", the last four words amplified his voice and Aristocrat continued on shouting all over the room. "I want all of our fighters airborne, our battleships and frigates ready, we are entering national waters. They want war!? They shall have one. Commence a full-scale attack!"

October 2786

It was difficult to listen to people talking to you with all that banging and loud noises coming from the fighters taking off and landing. Rodriguez was held restricted in a side room with the control tower, under Aristocrat's orders. He stood there with a blank gaze upon his face, looking in the horizon, almost apathetic to the aircrafts flying in front. The battle scene was not visible from that window, nevertheless, he could imagine the horror of it. It was reason why he couldn't sleep last night.

Pitiful, that such a mass of weaponry and power and pride were under a fool man's command. He was utterly and indescribably disgusted by even the presence of that old man who only knew how to spit well whilst talking - more like ordering his guts out. The nightmares from Gaduridos still haunted him, that was a bitter truth indeed. Suddenly, all the noises were gone, and he was able to listen to the pounding of his mourning heart, his thoughts deliberately lining up to reveal a single path...

He walked to the door and anxiously hit it with his palm. No response. Damn those fools, he thought. He approached the window again and tried to look down. It was high but not dangerously enough. He could just climb down to the deck and nobody would notice. Quietly walking to the wooden desk in the corner, he grabbed the chair and threw it on the window. A terrible smash, frightfully closer than that banging outside and beyond the control tower was heard. The officer took a precarious look at the shut door where the officer was locked in. They looked at each other and both approached that damn door, their hangs ready at their belts, almost feeling the handguns. They shouted for the man, but they felt foolish and the finally unlocked the door and stepped in. Before the darkness that engulfed them a mere second later, they caught a glimpse of a smashed window and a howling, almost alive, wind blowing inside the room.

Rodriguez picked a handgun and locked the door behind him. He then hastily exited and walked down the stairs, reaching the upper deck of the carrier. He stepped outside into the apparent wilderness of it all, since the noises and every frightening detail of the war was quite apparent here, and tried to find the single most purposeful face out of all the busy men there. He spotted it; Aristocrat was standing a few meters away, talking to an officer. Rodriguez then quickly and directly marched towards him, stopping right behind the glorious and immortal Grand Secretariat. Feeling the newcomer behind him, Aristocrat turned his head, only to look in shock at what clearly amazed him.

"What the heck are you doing here?", he naively asked, and it was probably the tone of his voice that made Rodriguez's eyes look so fiery and wicked. Aristocrat looked in curiosity, waiting for an answer, and when it did not come, he prepared to ask the officer next to him to arrest him. But he stopped, at the blatant and inevitable sight of a handgun in Rodriguez's hand, pointing directly at his face. His eyes widened and his lips almost crossed, while he was trying to determine whether to laugh or shout at that poor little image.

"You scum". Rodriguez said and pressed the trigger. The shot was so real that was heard even through those terrible noises of the airplanes and the commotion. He saw the life being sucked out of those greedy monstrous little eyes and he felt liberated. Free at last. Blood poured out of Aristocrat's forehead as the bullet smashed through his crippled scalp and twisted the left overs of his evil brain into the circle of darkness. The body fell noisily to the floor, but Rodriguez paid no attention to that. He looked at the sky as terrible pain pierced his ribs and multiple shots damaged his own body. He knelt, smiled and closed his eyes.
