Republica, Endralon

The set-up will include the fourty-six teams who have ratified the Terran FIFA World Cup Treaty by July one year prior to the Cup. Each team will play four preliminary games held either in the host nation or on any other neutral ground. After the four games, the top 32 teams will advance to the bracket rounds and will be seeded according to finish. A win is 3 pts., a tie is 1 pt., and a loss is 0 pts. In bracket rounds, there will be no ties. Ties in regulation will result in penalty kicks until a winner is found. Ties involving the 32nd, 33rd, and all related seeds will result in a goals for vs. goals against tie breaker. If there is still a tie, a coinflip shall be used. Those not tied with the 32nd place that are ranked above 32nd place will not have tie breakers even if they have the same points as other teams. Luck of the draw will be used for their bracket seeding. All questions of these rules are to be forwarded to the office of the Terran FIFA World Cup (in other words, PresMusharraf). btw, where is the complete list of previous tournaments and winners? I remember Egelion was the last to win the cup when it was ruled by Godfather don Almos Kovach.

New Englia will need to ratify this treaty http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=826 in order to participate. However, because the bill would take 8 months to even be passed, and the Cup is in one year. I'm afraid that is most like New Englia will not be able to participate until the next cup.

We will move the Cup date to July 2800 for simplicity reasons. I will post first round results ASAP.

(OOC: Now really, as Keymon is part of Selucia now, this is a bit confusing, but we Selucians can have some sort of Home Nations crap like in the UK so we can have two teams, right? I mean if we have our own Football Union independent of Selucia, we should count as a "nation" in FIFA rules. Atleast it does so in the real world with England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. But we really should ooc-limit this to one-per-game-nation, so that for example Beluzia and Bailon can't have their own teams?)
