The Seleya Cup will crown a football champion for the continent and double as the qualifier to the FIFA World Cup.
Seleya will be divided into 2 pools, North and South.
Each team will play each other twice, once at home and once away. Home teams are awarded a +1 goal homefield advantage unlike the World Cup.
Standings will be calculated by points with wins equaling 3 points and ties equaling one.
In cases of ties, goals for and then goals against will be used. If still tied, tiebreaker games may be scheduled.
The top three North teams and the top three South teams after pool play will qualify for the FIFA World Cup, the fourth place teams from the North and South will play one game to determine Seleya's seventh bid.
The top four teams from each pool will be seeded in North and South brackets with teams recieving bonus goals based on the differential of seeding. For example, a 1 seed facing a 4 seed would recieve a +3 bonus while a 2 seed facing a 3 seed would recieve a +1 bonus.
The top teams from each bracket will face off in the Seleya Cup (No bonuses apply)
The winner will be endorsed by the Seleyan Cup to host the following World Cup.
