Malivian Militarism

Postby maliviankom » Fri Oct 30, 2009 7:34 pm

Since achieving a super majority in Malivia, the Malivian Kommunist Party has dramatically militarized the country through treaty agreements, the budget, and the suppression of domestic opposition. In the Spring of 2840, Malivia authorized arm sales to the Ikradon Communist Unity faction in Ikradon. Believing that the Fortitude Party of Ikradon to not being communist enough, the Malivian government hopes to topple the regime through political and military means.

The nation of Ikradon which is already called the Socialist Republic of Ikradon has been historically isolated and neutral. Malivian subs are currently smuggling rifles, ammunition, artillery pieces, grenades, and other military equipment into the country. The subs are approaching Ikradon's ports cautiously so as to not accidentally fall into Luthori's sea zone.

Malivia is also engaging in army war games on the plains of Walkunia. The Maharaja himself, a former Lt, was involved in the war games. The Malivian military has attempted to make use of the hills in Walkunia so as to simulate the mountainous terrain commonly found in Ikradon. Dutch translators are also high in demand.

We have stated that we will assist communist parties who have a reasonable chance of success militarily and politically. The current regime in Ikradon is not sufficiently socialist in our view and has refused to compromise with us on any of our proposals. We are confident that in the election of 2843, our partners will be successful.

Malivia Declares War on Kirlawa

Malivia Declares War on Kirlawa

The Gerajan Protectorates of Malivia has officially declared war against Kirlawa on February 2841. The Malivian fleet filled with marines arrived in the waters of Kirlawa and immediately attacked the coastal cities in Nuchtmark. Malivian bombers escorted with jets from the Hunter Aircraft Carrier have heavily bombed the major cities of Veritas, Telon, Luthi, and Chromide. Malivian Attacks Subs have begun sinking commercial ships that had been docked in the harbors. Amphibious assault ships docked on the shores with little opposition; Marines moved towards the inland and created a green zone off the coast of Kirlawa.

Defense Minister Emilia Davis praised the military effort declaring it a "brilliant success." Appointed by the Malivian Kommunist Party for her strategic skills, Emilia Davis worked as a shadow cabinet minister during the three years of the Freedom Party's administration. A dedicated communist she passed all the Kommunist Party's rigorous background checks and tests.

"We will not be using any kind of nuclear weapon in this war as it would damage the very territory we're trying to acquire. We will not hesitate to use nuclear arms if we are attacked first however. Our attack subs all have at least one nuclear missile in them in case that would ever happen. Our mission is to break the region of Nuchtmark off from the rest of the country and establish naval bases off the coast. The use of such a naval base will greatly expand Malivia's naval capabilities in the Northern Ocean"
Defense Minister Emilia Davis

6.3.1 Conflict is just another form of RP, requiring consent from all involved as all forms of RP as defined in 6.1.1.

As the player of Kirlawa's longest continually-active party, I do NOT consent to this RP, and I refuse to participate.

Anti-War Protests Hurt Kirlawa Resolve

Postby maliviankom » Sat Oct 31, 2009 7:28 pm

Malivia Amused by Anti-War Protests

Anti-war protests erupted all over Kirlawa in response to the Malivian attack on the coastal region of Nuchtmark. The Kirlawan People's Justice Party has advocated an anti-war position leading to tens of thousands of Kirlawan citizens taking to the streets. Malivian military operations have briefly ceased as the anti-war protests marched through the cities. Amused Naval Admirals have sent planes back so that the protests may continue.

Malivia claims no responsibility for these protests. This is entirely a domestic response to our invasion. Let the people be heard. We will grant the people of Kirlawa peace as soon as the region of Nuchtmark is independent. We are doing our best effort to resolve the crisis.
Premier-General Daniel Cohen

Maharaja Blissfully Unaware of War

While, Malivia is at war in Kirlawa, the Maharaja has been hiking through the Ikradon mountains as part of his annual vacation. Despite their best efforts the Ikradon national government has tried in vain to find the Maharaja. The Maharaja would traditionally take many retreats into natural environments so that he may be able to experience the spirituality of the Gerajan gods. Only recently was the Maharaja made aware of the war that was enacted by the Malivian Kommunist Party. A royal aid eventually found the Maharaja and delivered the news to him personally.

War, what war?

Kirlawa bombs Malivia

[February 20, 2840]: Source say that Presidnet Leland gave the order to bomb Malivia's capital Syene and the cities of Serdica and Kapel. 20 fighter jets dropped bombs over the city in retaliation to the surprise attack by the Malivian Military. Even more disturbing is that several top government officials have said that Leland wanted to have Daniel Cohen assinated in may of 2839. He felt that Cohen was a danger to Malivia and the World.

Here are some of the pictures.

Malivia Retaliates

Malivia abandoned cease fire talks by blasting a coastal Kirlawan city with a heavy bombing from the Malivian Aircraft Carrier. The Malivian fleet has blockaded the Kirlawan coast and is preventing any commercial ships from exiting or entering. Malivian demands for a naval base off the coast of Kirlawan have been refused, the Dundorf Army is currently stationed on the border awaiting orders to invade.

Revelations that Kirlawan had planned to murder the Premier-General have incited the Malivian masses. Ouparath-Komissarov Clarence Martinez has begun leading mass protests against Kirlawa stating that the Kirlawans are a threat against the revolution. The Premier-General Daniel Cohen has agreed to extra protective measures to ensure his safety from any would be Kirlawan assassins.

Source: New Englia planning Invasion

[February 27, 2841]: A credible source says that New Englia is planning an invasion of Dundorf via Ikradon. Not much more is known about the exact concept of the plan. Governor-General George Rush stated in his weekly radio address that "Once the plans are finalized, passed by the Congress of New Englia, and signed by me, we will officially be at war. We will win this war and we will crush the Evil Empire."

Many people have questioned the strength of the military and its ability to fight a war. That statement can be backed up somewhat by a simulation known as War Analysis and Response Simulation (WARS). WARS has simulated a war 100 times between New Englia and Malivia and determined that of the 100 times, New Englia lost 87 times, won 10 times and drawed 3. It even predicted that the possible war between the two nations would cost about 2.81 trillion FRX and could kill 76,210 and wound 132,490 troops.

Malivia Dismisses New Threat

[March 3, 2841] The Malivian government has dismissed reports of a possible invasion force from New Englia as political posturing. "The Malivian government will not be intimidated by New Englia especially since we cannot actually find it on a map. We will continue with our blockade whether or not this imaginary nation shows up. The Malivian government is of course calling upon pro-socialist states to assist its campaign against Kirlawa and bring Dundorf closer to its goal of having access to sea." Foreign Minister Czeslaw Matthews

Ouparath-Komissarov Clarence Martinez celebrated a political rally among the Malivian Kommunist supporters in Syene. Declaring the Kirlawan capitalists outlaws and the devil among other things, Martinez vowed Malivia would succeed in its military aims. No word yet on whether the Kommunist government would nationalize Pepsi Corporation, a popular beverage company in Malivia. Crowd controllers put the rally numbers at several hundred thousand.

Jelbania Intervenes in Malivia

Image
The first wave of landings.

In a completely unexpected Deltarian-like act of naked aggression, Jelbania has declared war on Malivia. The first landings, at Rajin Beach in Washibar with 250,000 infantrymen, 10,000 tanks, and 500 artillery pieces, were successful, and the city was quickly captured, with only one-fifth of the buildings leveled to the ground and approximately 40,000 Jelbanian casualties. A fierce naval battle broke out outside the city, however, with the Jelbanian battleships Perimor and Wrntuhiko Simecek and seven destroyers sunk by a Malivian aircraft carrier.
"The FSB finally caught him for talking shit about replacing Putin with this "Saiser" character. I'm guessing they're up to his seventh toenail by now."
